No masks at the ashland store :- (
I was just at the store in Ashland, Virginia on yesterday. There are signs on the door that say you must wear a mask when entering. When I went in the store with my mask on I encountered 5 people including the cashier and NONE of them had on masks. This is not the first time I have gone in and seen customers without a mask nor this cashier. I like shopping at this store because I find good bargains, however, I feel like I am going to have to stop going because I cannot go into places while I am trying to protect them by wearing my mask but no one cares about protecting me. Please get this corrected so I don't have to stop shopping here.

Your guys store around here are ran like crap. I see the manger and the assistant manager go out and smoke 20 times their shift or they just stand around and talk to their family members whenever they come in and not help out the rest of the stuff the store looks like it's never been swept never been mopped there's only about two good employees and you're getting ready to lose both of those because management.
Employees not wearing face covering
I have been to two different DG stores during PANDEMIC, one in Thomasville, ND and one in Welcome, ND and the employees in either store was wearing a face covering, even though the Welcome store had a sign on the door stating face coverings were required. I am 64 years old and care for my 89 year old mother so I try to be as careful as possible. As much as I love DG, I will need to shop elsewhere until this PANDEMIC is over. Sorry.

i went to my local dollar general store# 16797 [protected]. this store is small but not dirty, todays visit very un organized empty shelves, open soda bottles on shelves trash on floor everywhere. sealing fell through blocked off isle but not cleaned up . just plain dirty . did not take photos will think twice before going into this store again if this keeps up.

We live in downtown Madison, Indiana and are currently without a grocery store. Dollar General is the closest source for quick shopping but most of the time the shelves are almost bare. Several times the store has been closed for several days in a row (not including after their robbery recently). Staff stand outside and smoke sometimes leaving the store alone with customers shopping or standing at the checkout. It's dirty.

To whom this concerns:
I am writing on behalf of the approval of the new site at the Village of Augusta, Michigan. I understand You will be filling in the land which is a 100 year flood plane. Filling of this property will cause flooding in multiple residents back yards. We were not included in this decision which you have received permission to do so. Since we have gone to the village with our complaints they have given us a teleconference to voice concerns about this. To me it seems as though they already have gone behind our back and has made this possible for you to do so. There are other areas in this village that will not effect the residence yards being flooded. I am asking as a concerned resident of the village to consider another location.
I am asking who will be paying for the damage to my basement when the flooding takes place. Second concern that we have is the traffic backing up along Michigan Ave considering this is directly across from Knappen Milling grain Mill with multiple semi trucks coming and going. Your presumed customers will be held up in the parking lot during rush hour traffic due to the traffic from Fort Custer Industrial Parks main route to Kalamazoo and to get out on to I94. This will surly deter anyone from even stopping into this store.
On behalf of the residents of Augusta we ask that you consider putting your building at the opposite end of this village to avoid the said traffic back up and the flooding of our community. I believe it would be better to open your business with the agreement of the people to have you hear, then to go behind our backs and cause hardship and damage to our homes unnecessarily. There is already a DG in Galesburg 4mile west and all so 4 mile east in Urbandale, why do you want to destroy a flood plan when it is not necessary.

Are employees allowed to purchase penny items when off the clock? Are they allowed to lay an item back to purchase when they get off work? Are employees allowed to gather penny items from stock room to give a customer? Can one employee check out another employee that's off the clock to buy a penny item? Does all this apply to DG managers?

Yesterday aug 9th my dog got food poisoning from these duck sausage dog treats. I had to rush her to the emergency vet hospital for immediate care. She could not even keep water down. My poor dog can still barely eat a day later. I also had a huge bill from the hospital because of this. Please be aware of this if your a dog owner. My girl was very ill and it was scary to witness these are just some pictures my master bedroom was covered in dog vomit!

I visited a recently opened Dollar General on Market Street Ext in Cheraw SC 29520 on August 9 2020 around 6 pm and the music that was playing in the store was very offensive and inappropriate for a Business.
