On June 11, 2025, I was advised that the membership I was interested in was a family rate and my daughter would be able to attend. On June 15th, my daughter tried to use the membership and was told that she could not because I was not there with her. I called the establishment and spoke to Mr. Cox the branch manager and he told me that there was nothing he could do, and this is what I signed up for. Then I asked if he could downgrade my membership to lesser value because the only reason I signed up for the higher amount was so that my daughter could attend. He told me no and nothing he could do for me. What kind of manager of a franchise establishment does this! Only in Poinciana where people think that we need them or their business so bad that they can do what they want. VERY BAD BUSINESS IN POINCIANA Then Crunch sent out a promotional for teenagers to join, my daughter called to inquire and was told that yes, she could attend by herself without a parent. I called back to ask why the rules are different now, because of what I experienced just weeks earlier. And was told that this is something they just started. Help me understand? This does not make sense, very bad business to start off in this new area. Why could they have not given me and my daughter separate plans in the beginning? She could have attended in her free time and I the same, and the fee would have been split between both of us $15.99 each. I will not allow my daughter to join, and I have told multiple co-workers who have cancelled their membership also. I am contacting my employer who sent out promotional to join and advise them that Crunch is not a good gym, they do not have our best interest at heart, they are in the business of making money off of people not helping them. I am still disputing this membership because it is costing me too much as a single person attending, they are charging me double for nothing. As of September 9th, I am still receiving emails that I owe them money for membership that should have been cancelled when I requested it. I went into the location in August and requested they stop harassing me and the manager entered my cancellation date as of September 29th because they have the right to not cancel before 90 days.
