Conn's Home Plus Damage done by delivery driver

Had a refrigerator delivered to my house 12/17/2021. The delivery driver damaged my floor when he slid the fridge across the floor. I contacted the store and advised them of the situation. I was asked to send a picture of the damage. I did exactly that on 12/17/2021 @ 3:46pm, sent to store . I called to make sure they received it. I have since been trying to get the money back I paid to have my floor fixed. I am always told that someone will get back with me, but have yet to do so. I have been in the store several times. I have my paid invoice from the flooring company that did the initial installation three months prior. I have spoken to a total of 14 people. I have all of the dates written down that I have spoken to someone and they all have informed me that someone will return my call, but I have yet to receive a call from anyone at CONNS and or TOPHAT. I have since ordered several other things from CONNS and I haven't had a problem. I refuse to buy anything else from CONNS until I receive my $783.41 I paid to have my floor repaired/replaced. My attorney has asked that I give you a final chance to rectify this situation, prior to him becoming involved.

Desired outcome: I would like to be made whole again and get a refund for the $783.41 that I had to spend to FINALLY get my floor replaced/repaired.

Conn's Home Plus Laptop and failure to provide assistance for that laptop beginning in november 2022 and still not resolved.

I purchased a lap top in August of 2022 at the Greenville SC location. It quit working in November. It took 2 weeks for them to ship to Texas all the while telling me it had been shipped.

Once shipped it took another 4 weeks to repair and once received back, a life time of documents, photos, downloads etc., had been wiped clean from my computer, this after being told by Kevin who was doing the repair [protected]) that this would not happen.

Upon finding this out, I wanted to return the laptop to the store. The assistant store mgr., Virginia Tucker told me that the store is not allowed to take returns and that I needed to contact corporate and get their approval. I called corporate, they told me that I need to go to the store. Runaround. I was told by CSR Mr. Bell employee I.D.# 115819 that a representative would call me within 24 hours and created ticket # 1444754.

It is March 31, 2023 and nobody has contacted me but now I am getting threatening emails and phone calls about why I haven't made a payment, which I will not do until resolved

Desired outcome: My legal documents, photos, downloads related to child custody, and much more are gone forever. Take off of my account . They have lost a lifetime of information. They won't let me return it so clear account.

Conn's Home Plus Faulty installation that caused property damage ([edited])

We provided a washer and dryer from you online [edited] The installed didn't put the rubber gasket in the cold water hose and water dripped form our 2nd story laundry room to the ceiling of our kitchen and dining room. We filed a claim and have an adjustor working it but it is stalled because Conn's representative doesn't return messages. We have paid to have the repairs done out of pocket and Conn's is not taking ownership.

Desired outcome: Acceptance of claim so we can get this processed and we can get reimbursed for the repairs we made. Claim#4081448

Conn's Home Plus 75in hisense tv

On 2/14/23 my husband purchased a 75in hisene tv with the purchase of service for someone to come and mount it. Several days went and we did not hear from anyone. We called the store and they said the service department was responsible, service department said the store was responsible. we kept getting the run around so we finally cancel that agreement. Next as we began to set the tv up we noticed a crack in the corner of the tv and no picture only blue lines. Called the store to exchange it they said we need to call the service department and they said we need to call the manufacture it has a one year warranty on it. Hisense said we need to call Conns service department again we get the run around our tv still has not been fixed. Conns customer service is the worst we have ever dealt with.

Conn's Home Plus 75 inch Samsung TV Warranty

Hello, my name is [edited] and 2/23 during the freeze here in Garland Texas I called for repair service for my 75 inch Samsung Television only to find out that my warranty was cancelled when asked why I was told that I cancelled the warranty when I know that I did not cancel the warranty do to I was told that because I wanted to mount the TV on my wall that I would have to purchase a surge protector and wall mount from Conn's and let Conn's mounting crew be the ones to install it on my wall to keep from voiding my warranty. So with that being said that is what I did to keep my warranty from voiding. At the time of purchase the wall mount was the last one in stock and the box was severely damaged so I asked for a discount on the wall mount I was told by the sales associate that it will be reflected on my paper work. After receiving my paper work by mail I saw that the wall mount was not discount. I called and went to the store after get ting the run around and was then given the discount by the store manager there at the time. My paper work was redone and at that time they failed to add my warranty back on the new paper work. Then I was told to call customer service I did that and was told the same thing. after a few more calls one of the customer service reps called the Conn's Store located in Mesquite Texas where I purchased the TV from with me on 3 way and spoke to an associate do to the manager would not take the call. The associate confirmed that the previse sales associate and manager failed to add my warranty back after paper work was redone with the discount on the damaged box wall mount. He then stated that he will send an email to the district manager and that has been confirmed after a follow up call that he did send it but I have not had anyone contact me on the issue and was told that the district manger has not responded to the email. When I called customer serves again recently I was given the run around because no one new what to do about the situation and was told by one rep that I never had a warranty on the TV. I stated to multiple different reps that I want to cancel my lease due to the problem and was told that I would have to bring the 75 inch TV in my self. I stated to each one that I said this to that I have no way of doing this because it will not fit in my vehicle and I don't want it to get any cosmetic damaged. At the time of purchase the wall mount was the last one in stock and the box was severely damaged so I asked for a discount on the wall mount I was told by the sales associate that it will be reflected on my paper work. Conn's Home Plus Conn's Abysmal Delivery service

I purchased a new king Size mattress for these clowns. It was suppose to be delivered, installed and the old mattress removed. They stuck it in the bedroom on it's side and left. They did not remove the old mattress. I contacted the store manager who assured me he would correct this issue would be resolved, that they would have a delivery person return in the next few days and remove the old mattress and install the new one.. Over a week later a delivery person called me and said he was on the way. After waiting a bit I went to check and the delivery person had not only not installed the new mattress, but had taken the new mattress and left. The sheer incompetence of this company is beyond belief.

Desired outcome: I want a full cancelation of this purchase. I will not pay for product that was stolen by the same people that people that were suppose to deliver and install it.

Conn's Home Plus Customer manipulation

Made purchase on 12/11/2022 on which date the sales associate told me that if I didn't make purchase today or whatever funds (I was approved for) was not used then I would have to reapply and go through entire approval process again. Therefore, I was pressured into making purchases I didn't want. Was also told I had 30 days to return or exchange all items, which wasn't true. I also told the same associate that I did NOT need "their insurance" coverage because I had my own renters insurance. But when I was going through my paperwork I saw I was charged $120 for their insurance coverage. On 01/03/2023 I wanted to exchange 3 of my unopened/factory sealed products but informed I couldn't because I was past the 14 days. I explained with the holidays I was out of town and under the impression I had 30 days (per the sales associate) to return. The manager at the Conn's in Mesa was unwilling to accept even though I explained the entire situation and I wasn't asking for refund only wanted to exchange unopened/factory sealed items for different items.

Conn's Home Plus Samsung smart refrigerator

Called to make an appointment on December 30, 2022

Placed on a priority list but scheduled for Monday January 2nd.

Wife and I take off work and called for an ETA. The customer service lady (Trisha) for some ungodly reason rescheduled me for January 6th when I never authorized it!

Now I have $900 in groceries and $600 of that was meat for my freezer and now it's no good and had to be thrown away.

Conns have stuck up their middle fingers at us all day and they're about to get a broken fridge placed in front if their establishment for screwing us over!

Desired outcome: Send someone to fix it January 3rd or pay for an outside service company to fix it January 3rd.Or credit my account $500 for ALL THE BS WE HAD TO DEAL WITH TODAY!!!!!

Conn's Home Plus LG 70in tv

I purchased this tv at conns in mcallen. This was day after thankgiving. Tv screen went out 2 weeks later. Tech from conns came out on 12/21/2022 he said he spoke to someone that they needed to order parts and will be back on 12/30/2022. I receied an email confirming this. As of today I have not hear from anyone. Hold for hours due to people in phillipines have no common sense. Today still no one has called aboaut this. Since day 1 isssues with conns.

Sales man never told me that if paid off my loan early with loan amercian I would be penalized. Now also speaking to someone in mcallen parts dept they told me they have 30 days to fix my tv. Another thing this idiot salesman never told me. I just want to turn tv in and get full refund. But no one will talk to me but sure to say well if you bring back we are going to charge you stock fee. What a joke. Stealing money friom customers. They have been rude and idiots. They suck and there merchandise is cheap.

Conn's Home Plus sofa center console

Delivered in Sept 2022 center console not working-replaced sofa same problem with center console -replaced center console screen a week later not working again. Now they want to replace other stuff on the sofa smh-so it has not been working more then it did (so i want to return and they won't let me) So i am paying on something that has been broke from day one-In my opinion they are trying to run out my warrant

Conn's Home Plus Samsung refridgerator

I went to the Texas city Conns store for the first time, spoke with the salesman Nash, bought a fridge on my new Conns credit. The fridge was delivered and didnt work. I contacted him and the store manager Graylan to make this right. They then sold me a floor model of lesser quality, said they could only take off 10% for the whole bad experience and it was a floor model at that! So they delivered it and it did not work either. So I just said cancel the whole order, I all done. I will never buy from there again. Called them told them to cancel they where rude about it, then tried to tell me something must be wrong with my plugs... terrible bail out on their part. Even the delivery guys told me this happens all the time with appliances from there. Why are these not tested before shipping them? So two weeks later they never cancelled the order as they said they would and charged my synchrony credit card for two refrigerators. Big Time lawsuit coming soon to Conns. I have also filed fraud charges with Sychrony credit cardName fits them well Conn artists. I am extremely dissatisfied with this whole first experience with Conns. cant reach anyone in the US or local district managers. All I have gotten is the run around from every phone call I have made to people I can hardly understand from overseas. Buyer BEWARE! S. Truitt TEXAS

Conn's Home Plus I was not provided my serial numbers so that I can register my product

I was provided a very unprofessional invoice. It has the words amberalret2 as a serial number for my Hyden Catnapper furniture. I can not use the warranty offered by the manufacturer without the serial numbers. I called and asked and was told these products don't come with serial numbers. The manufacturer website mKes it clear that they do.

Desired outcome: I would like proper professional bill of sale with the serial numbers and product description. Discounts and payments ect.... properly listed.

Conn's Home Plus Failure to deliver as promised

Purchased a recliner on December 10,2022 and was promised delivery on December 11,2022 by 1pm. Delivery called and said that they were in Bradenton trying to find my address, I informed them they were in the wrong place. My address is in Weeki Wachee fl. I gave them exact directions and they said they were on the way. Then later called back stating they were rescheduling for another day. This is not acceptable.

Desired outcome: Chair delivered as promised. Stop lying to me and others.

Conn's Home Plus Fraud on price of purchase in store

November 21,2022 went into store to buy a ottoman the store salesperson wanted to sale me a stereo a LG Ck the salesman and lady offered me a 10percent discount on the item and it was not in the contract that I signed. I have a account with Conns now and with both accounts it is over what I can not pay a month for one account I pay 94.00 a month and now with this new account it is 72.75 a month. There is no way that I can pay 166.00 a month I am on a fixed income if the financial could extined my payments out to fit me I would be able to keep my goods I have a good history with Conns and I don't want to lose my trust in them. Please help me to continue to keep my account with the company for the two years I been paying on my account and I would like to continue with out struggling to make payments please help me.

Desired outcome: The store could not help me in this matter the sale person has quite the job. I would like for my payments to be further spread out on this new account it would help me to make payments easy to make .

Conn's Home Plus Hisense TV 50'

I purchased 2 Hisense 50A6GV 4K UHD Smart TV's on 28 Nov 2022 during the Black Friday sale. They were both presents but I decided to go ahead and set one TV up as a surprise for the recipient. I subscribe to HULU TV. This TV does not have the HULU app installed so I went to the App Store to download and install HULU well Hulu cannot be found in the app store. I called my local store for assistance and was walked through the same process that I had previously done and still no HULU app found. I informed the associate that I wanted to return both TV's because they were no use to me if I couldn't have HULU TV because again, I'm paying for it granted i could buy a Roku streamer but why pay more money. I could have just bought me a Roku TV and been set for HULU. But this was "a deal". After informing the associate that I no longer wanted either TV he transferred me without telling me to another number that a woman answered whom later identified herself as the "Manager", and I explained my plight to her, and her response was "you only have 7 days to return Electronics" and that it says that on my receipt and at "the door". Of course, some words were exchanged and here I am. Mind you my receipt says nothing about 7 days return only on Electronics and who is looking all over the door and window when entering an establishment for their return policy, why not just tell me hell I haven't bought anything yet. Anyway, I called corporate, and a ticket was put in and someone is supposed to contact me but I'm really not feeling optimistic for a resolution after reading all of the other complaints. The customer service was horrible at my local store. I'd rather go someplace else to spend my money.

Desired outcome: My desired outcome is to return both TVs for a refund

Conn's Home Plus Poor customer service

We purchased and financing a new front load washer and dryer last Aug. The salesman told us it would be financed for three years and includes warranty. He did not say it was one year. He asked if we wanted extended warranty but we thought it was after 3 yr financing. The washer messed up last month and that’s when we heard about 1 yr warranty. The repair service would be more than payment. I asked to return both to Conns and was told they would not come pick up. I have no choice but stop my bank from making payments. I am not paying for something I can’t use.

I had told people to try Conn’s now I tell them not to go there.

Conn's Home Plus Ordered a 65" TV online Order #[protected]

I ordered an 65" Hisense TV for the Black Friday sale on Thanksgiving Day Nov 24, 2022. It stated that the Conn's store in Ocala had 3 in stock. I place the order for pickup.

I received an email that my order was being processed, then I received an email that the order status was changed to to shipped (?), then I received an email that the order was cancelled, then I received an email that my order was refunded. I tried calling Customer Service but after being on hold for over 1 hour I called the store. I was told that they only had 3 of these for their Black Friday sale & that they were all gone. A little bit later I went back into my email to find yet another email stating that my order was ready for pickup. Again I couldn't get a hold of Customer Service so I called the store back. They told me that they had informed ecommercesales that they did not have any of those TV's left & wasn't sure why they sent me that email. I am new to Florida, never heard of Conn's Home Plus but figured I would give them a try just to go through this incompetence? What if I drove 45 minutes just to find this out? The girl at the store told me that Corporate was in charge of the ecommerce online sales department but never suggested how I would be able to contact them.

Desired outcome: Conn's Corp to investigate the incompetence of what I went through with ecommerce online sales. And for them to contact me with an apology, an explanation as to what happened as well as explain to me why I should give Conn's another chance.
