ryan barker (employee)
At my local gas station located in Albuquerque New Mexico on lomas blvd. Near Louisiana. I stopped to grab a drink and fuel up. As I got in line the clerk was having a discussion with a costumer ahead of me. Only after a small bag and some money was exchanged was I helped. The thing is, the clerk gave the money and received the bag. I didn't really think anything of it until I was asked with a whisper like tone, "do you blaze it". I replied to him that I did not. He made me feel really uncomfortable after we exchanged words. I waited for his coworker, Peter till he came out on a small smoke break to ask his name. After I filled my tank, Ryan came out with a definite underage female. Both proceeded awkwardly to
the back of the store. Point is, I believe drugs are being dealt at my location. Store number is 7600
charging incorrect gas prices
Pulled into Gas station for gas, gave cashier $40 for gas, after I filled up I realized that I did not received the correct amount of gas. The sign states $3.09 a gallon for 87 regular, I paid $3.22 a gallon. The sign on the pump says $3.29 a gallon. I brought this to the attention of the cashier, he stated the owner had been tampering with the pumps and several customers had complained about prices. I showed him the photo I took and the price I paid and advised of the error, the cashier told me, " this is problem with you women, you don't listen, " I asked what did that have to do with charging the wrong amount? He called the owner and the owner refused to resolve the issue and advised me that the price were correct, even when I showed him the pump price, sign price and what i actually paid was incorrect.

rude waitress
We stopped in several times...twice in one day during our travels. We liked the food but were turned off by a recent visit. Young waitress in red shirt, blue jeans, and a baseball cap couldn't have done a worse job. She only showed up to take order, didn't deliver order, noticed us trying to get her attention several times, finally had to get up and hunt her down for the check. Rather than being apologetic, she was extremely rude. She lost repeat customers - never again. I know this is not the Valero way.

WOW! What did the manager say when you told them?
sexually harrassed by the cashier
i walked in to buy cigarettes and ask directions. When the cashier told me "if u show me your boobs i will give them free to you." Then I said "your crazy i don't think so, you have the wrong girl." That was VERY unappropriate for a gas station clerk to ask a customer something like that. i felt very violated and distgusted with this man. My two little girls were there at the time with me. This kind of person should not be working with customers. who knows how many girls he has tried to harrass before me. i want FULL action taken immediately.
I got gas at two gas stations in Arkansas between yesterday and today. Both stations advertised on their marquee that the gas was one price, but when I went to gas up at the pump, the gas was 5 cents higher in both locations. I asked the attendant, but they could not explain it.
Might want to contact management of the store. I doubt they read these complaint boards.
bad gas
The Valero gas created a melt down of the two catalyic converters and a heat shield in my Toyota Highlander according to two Toyota Dealerships. The 2008 Highlander was serviced before the business trip and is kept in pristine condition. Advised the consumer site at Valero as to their poor, inconsistance and damaging product. Embarrassing as a stock holder to own such a poor product!

worst car wash service
This is the absolute worst service station that I have ever been to in my entire life. It may well be the worst business of any kind that I have ever been to.
Here's my story: Today I drove my car over for a quick token car wash. I drop my token then I follow with the green light red light signal move my car into the washing hub However, because somehow the car wash machine's sensor has some error happened which pending the movement and then green light flash again i move my car alittle bit forward then next second red light flash again means my car in the right position.. but NO the machine still not moving forward to wash my car but instead my car stuck in the middle of the washing hub can not move but the brush already full half way down my car can not moving .
I wait for few minutes rec'd No assistant nor help to get the machine restart...then the guy(sat in the booth) finally notice and show up but not helping but start shouting to me from Wait far behind ! he shouting which i hardly can heard him ...he kept asked me to move my car but i can not because the red light still flash i don't want to risk possible destroyed my car under dis-functioned wash machine...it took me longer than 10 minutes finally he restart the machine and green light back on and I can pass through got my car out of the washing hub...of course I complained (in an assertive but calm voice) to him for the failure of car wash and requested him refund my money because service incomplete ..meantime he never stop screaming at me. said I'd failed to follow the instructions but I said I exactly followed the green light red light to move forward and stop my car to the exact right spot ...he just won't listened and such rudest attitude I simply just won't accept ! he probably think that I'm a petite Asian lady for such situation who have no choice but to accept it and walk away
One person I know of went there for an auto repair, and Uptown Shell openly admitted to her that they broke another component on her car, but refused to pay for repairs. She ended up successfully suing the station in small claims court.
I could go on, but by now you should get the idea. Unless you want your car destroyed and the rudest service ever, DO NOT go to Arco/Valero Burlingame CA that's right next to Mike Harvey at 1000 Broadway Burlingame CA!.
rude clerk named margie
Went to Valero to purchase some lottery tickets after work. I was the first in line and had clerk who was talking to someone behind the counter. She and him are having a major conversation because it seems i interrupted to help me with buying the tickets. I was needing assistance with price and tickets. And as I asked her to give me the prices for like...

I have come to understand that customer service is a thing of the past, and no one gives a *@#* about your satisfaction level as a customer. Ive realized that expecting English out of a gas station is a rarity and also in the past. But what I cannot understand, nor tolerate, is lying to my face, telling me what just happened didn't happen, and treating...

Valero store in waxahachie, tx has a horrible manager named laura. She smokes her cigarettes in the entrance to the store. I have complained to her because I don't want to smell like smoke and she just gave me a dirty look. She also speaks to her employees with vulgar language. I asked her employee when laura wasn't there why she puts up with that abuse, she says she is afraid of retaliation. Someone needs to manage the manager at this location.
Valero Gas Station at 4401 SW, 8 Street, Miami, FLORIDA has on Board $2.179 and is collecting $2.249 They are misleading all the client that arrive there. Do something, please.
The Vallero Gas Station in San Andreas California has terrible management. The guy who runs the place, "Sooko/Suko" has hired his sister, who has a chair at the cash register, so she doesn't have to stand up as do the other employees at the cash register. If you don't interrupt her while she is reading her book, she is usually in the back and sometimes in the front snatching food from the hot food window. Her mouth is usually full, and if she moved any slower, she would be going in reverse. She also has a tendency to short change you. This has happened too many times to me. They used to get 200$-300$ per month from me buying gas, and I am no longer going to go there after two years of enduring this, I just thought at some point it would get better, but it has definitely gotten worse. It is worth it to me to drive another 1/2 mile to get normal service. I don't know if they will notice the decline in money or not...I hope they do.
Shop elsewhere.
"Someone needs to manage the manager at this location."
someone needs to mind their own business...and get their gas elsewhere.
gossiping about fellow employees with customers present
I was at the valero store on guadalupe and ellsworth #1659 and overheard as did several others this employee [krista] telling another employee that her assistant manager was a thief and lazy . I go to this store because of the friendly faces and excellent customer service, i won't return and will tell others to do same if this girl remains an employee there, this was not only rude but very unprofessional at best. we go to this store to shop not listen to gossip from a rude clerk, who should be ashamed of her behavior.
selling alcohol to someone already drunk
The last two times I have went into the Valero listed above, the cashier has sold a six pack of beer to an already drunk customer. I and my family are on the roads in Conroe daily, and I would hate to think that someone I love or anyone for that matter his injured or killed by someone driving around with more beer. I have talked to the manager before, but to no avail. I believe that they do not care who they sell it to, as long as they make the money. I have tried to reach the corporate office to file a complaint with Valero directly, but only get consumer complaints for bad gas. I think this is far worse than someone getting bad gas. If you can not help me, please put me in contact with someone who can. Thank You

very poor service
I visit this Valero station, located on General Mcmullen St, several times a week. This morning I noticed as soon as I walked in a long line and only one clerk. SATURDAY! This is not the first time I walk in and the line is long. Several times I notice a second or third clerk either standing around talking or doing minor tasks which could easily be done after the customer line is taken care of. After this morning I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Please feel free to contact me. My name is Andrew Solis and my phone number is [protected].
It is unfortunate that such a well known company does not train it's employees better customer service! Thank you

debit card fraud
Filled my tank with gas at this station on November 10, 2010. Gave attendant my debit card to pay. He kept my card in the card reader for a VERY long time--at least 15 minutes' more after my car registered full and the pump turned off. I had to roll down my window and scream at him to return my card. Within 24 hours of leaving the gas station, I had over $120 removed from my checking account--my bank caught it before I did and cancelled the card. Charges are from bogus websites, operating out of the U.K., none made by me--they have sweet names like MF REEL, and www.globularsupport.com--the latter is a clearinghouse for pay-per-view internet porn! My bank is investigating the fraud, may take up to 90 days to get the money back in my account. I made a full police report--I'd like to not see this happen to anyone else at this gas station. I won't be using Valero anymore--I'll go out of my way to find another gas station. And I'll be using a credit card to pay for my gas from now on--or cash. Google VALERO and SKIMMING--you will find this is a problem across the USA.
I honestly think this is a scam
I have had a Valero gas card for about 6 months and I have always made my payments on time or so I thought. I kept getting late fees, when I called to ask why I was told it take 7-14 days to process payment. I pay on-line and I don't use the paper bill service. I always payed about 5-7 days before my due date. I pay all my bills online:gas, cable, phone exc exc and I have never heard of a electronic payment taking 7-14 days to process. I honestly think this is a scam. I would advise anyone to avoid this company at all cost. I have canceled my card.

overcharged at the pump
Pushed the 2.99/gal regular button - charged 3.19 premium! told clerk that there is something wrong with the pump and he yelled at me three times that I DID PUSH the button for expensive gas when I know for a fact that I had to push it twice to get the pump to work and it was for the 2.99/gal - not 3.19!
He was very rude and obviously didn't want to waste his time talking to me so I will let everyone I know that drives along Ygnacio Valley Blvd in Walnut Creek, CA to go somewhere else. The station must have changed hands - I have never dealt with such a rude person there before so I can only assume that it is under new ownership from the last time I bought gas there.
what a SCAM! ! ! I have been pumping my own gas for many years and know the difference - I always use regular and that pump #8 somehow switched my request to premium.

bad tank of gas
purchased a full tank of gas (gas light was on and i was basically running on fumes). Total tank came to $40.01. Brand new 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe. About 20 minutes later, car started bucking and shaking. Went to dealer - had car looked at and gas tested - contaminated gas - alcohol level was at 15%, which is much higher than they NYState standard. Also...

I filled up my car today with gasoline from a valero gas station. When i got to do one of my errands and i went back to the vehicle. My car would not start. I had my car towed to the nissan dealership. They told me that the gasoline in my vehicle was bad. I had to pay for the repairs and want to be reimbursed by valero.
Thanks, elida

I was at a Valero gas station on Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond Virginia just 2 days after Christmas day and only authorized $13.00 of gas with 87 Octane in it, when and while I was driving home to Beckley West Virginia, my car began acting up like it didn't wanna go up on mountain hills on interstate 64 West bound and just kept Hesitating slowing down to lower speeds then finally it cuts off when I'm pulling off the interstate road and saw and found out there was water in the gas tank with gas mixed into it from the next to the last gas pump on the right facing in front of that Valero gas station, and had to call my auto mechanic letting him know what was going on with my car and the bad gas from Valero on Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond VA, I just spent $1400 on a major car repair I recently had done on it and Now 6 days later another $188.00 just to fix that trouble from my gas tank plus a left back wheel bearing on top of it, I am submitting this complaint and hoping whoever is in charge gets a hold of that Valero store in Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond Virginia and have every gas pump there checked out, please let me know and get back to me at the following email, jeffjoneswv46@gmail.com thank you and much regards, Jeff Jones
Same thing for me. $1100 in repairs to flush engine. I complained to TX dept of agriculture. So we will see. Have receipt and all dealership paperwork.
I also got bad fuel from a Valero station (although mine is "privately owned", as they tell me). The owner knows that the fuel that day was contaminated, he had to shut down the store to fix it. My engine was totally destroyed, and I needed a new one. It cost over $3700. Valero has done nothing but pass the buck on this. I told them that the owner was refusing to give me his insurance information, and they just shrugged their shoulders. They sent me to the distributors (Sampson Bladen Oil) who are of no help.
My wife filled the tank of our car. When she got home I saw that she had been charged for 14.8 gallons. Since our car only holds 13.2 gallons (and probably only had room for 11.5 that night — the low fuel light had just gone on), I went to the store to tell them. I showed the owner the receipt and the gas tank capacity in the owners manual, but I got nothing but head scratching.
Now I don't see how I can trust these pumps again or any Valero pump for that matter.
first this gas station Valero (Smart Stop Food Store) street sign said $ 3.26 p/g their prize at the pump was $3.34 on top of that the pump was 0.17 ahead and the last that machine was printing blank receipt (description). I walked inside to get my 0.17 cents back but I had no proves because the blank receipt, now i have to deal with the credit card. The name of that station is (Valero SMART STOP Food Store)
I was attempting to purchase some gasoline using my debit card when the cashier told me that I needed to hurry up because I was holding up the line.
On November 12 2015 at 1:02 PM I filled up my vehicle with Gas from pump #5 at Coral Ridge Valero, Located at 11600 Wiles Road in Coral Springs, FL 33076. I drove home aprox. 2 miles from the station. My vehicle started bucking like a horse, and hesitating. my dash board looks like a Christmas tree with CHECK YOUR ENGINE, LOW TIRES, AIR BAG and other lights on. I drove back to the station right away and spoke to Mr. Haroon the station manager showing him how my vehicle was shaking, he showed me a print out which I was not able to understand and was not given a copy of it in order for me to consult with someone who could. He gave me a telephone number to call [protected] ext. 229 Ms. Ileana Miller at their legal department, she told me to get in touch with Mr. Luis Luque [protected]. I called him and left a message.
I called my mechanic who advised me to buy( Sea Foam) a liquid that helps remove water from the bottom of my tank, and to bring him the vehicle as soon as possible. My mechanic (john) from G- Force removed the gas tank emptied it and cleaned it, his diagnosis was that the gasoline was contaminated with water and other sludge substance. it looked like tea. This incident cost me $574.16 . He suggested I change my fuel filter and
that the two catalytic converters together with the spark plugs may be compromised .I spoke to Mr. Luque again since I left all the receipts, picture of pump # 5 with a plastic bag that was attached to it the following day. He claims that he sent the documents to Ms. Ileana Miller. I have left messages
for Ms. Miller on 12/1.2015 at 2:31 PM and on 12/17/15 at11:45 AM as well as today 12/22/2015 at 11:00 AM. It seems like they do not want to acknowledge that they are selling contaminated gasoline, and just want to ignore my telephone calls. I guess I will have to get one of my attorney's to handle the situation whereby I will be asking a lot more than $574.00 plus court cost and attorney's fees.

I purchased gas at a Valero store 2 weeks ago in El Paso, Texas on Zaragosa Road and Bethel. My car (a 2013 Camaro) wouldn't start the next day so I had a tow truck take my car to a local mechanic shop, where after a few days they gave up because they did not know what was wrong with the car. So I had to pay for another tow truck again to take it to the Chevy dealer. After a few days, they told me the gas had water in it. The total charge for the repairs is $1, 250 to fix it and $98 for the diagnostics. I contacted the Valero store where I was told by the manager that it wasn't them because they never had any other case like mine. I even went as far as requesting a gas sample from my car and sending it to him. He was lying because I found that one of my school teachers had the exact same thing happen to her the same day as me! I don't know what to do anymore as I don't have proof of the time and day I went there. It was them and they keep denying my problem! Who do I contact now?
I filled up w/Diesel in my 2014 Mercedes Blutec and car was slow to start and then would not start. Valero is denying the fuel claim saying the gas was tested and showed no problems. How can this be the case when you fill up and begin 3 days later the car will not start. Had to call a wrecker and car was at dealership for 2 weeks. $3000 later...no help from Valero! Tell everyone you know how awful they are to their customers!

They told me I need a new air comprssure and I didnt. They said they would charge me $800.00 and when I went to my machanic on monday he said I didnt and he only charges me $100.00 he said the valero place was tring to rip me off.
gas pump rip off
On November 12, 2008 I went to the Valero at the intersection of Military Pkwy/Masters. I paid for $10 in gas at $1.94 which SHOULD equate to about a quarter tank of gas in my 2002 ford expedition. The pump showed that I'd received 5 gallons but I only got half of that. I am positive of this amount because the night before, I'd put $10 in from Shell and got a little over a quarter of a tank. Although I see Valero generally has a drop in their gas prices before any other station. That station is a RIP-OFF. Which will cause me to be leary of them in the future. READERS BEWARE, GET A RECEIPT, AND DEMAND THE GAS YOU PAY FOR!
Best way to find out is to put in 10 gallons into your tank and if the price shows 3.50 per gallon then it would total 35 dollars. If not then they are messing with the counter in the pump. There should also be a phone number on the front of the gas station pump where you can call to complain. This is a consumer rip-off on the rise.
questionable signage price practices
I always purchase my gas from valero stations depending on which one has the lowest price. Over the past year I have usually purchased from one of four locations.
In all this time I stopped for gas depending what price was showing on the large lighted signs. Until recently I had never noticed any other signage because I usually am stopping after dark for gas.
About three weeks ago I stopped at the valero station located at the corner of telegraph road and carmineta in la mirada or whittier. (Not sure because it is close the city lines) in southern california
While pumping gas I noticed the pump was showing three or four cents higher than the lighted signage showed. I confronted the clerk about it and he pointed to a sign that was sideways behind a brick sign and said "you see that sign...? It says the cash price is higher than the credit price...
I couldn't see it in the dark after he tried three times to point it out. He finally walked me out to it and showed me. At this point I told him what I thought about his little scam and told him I was going to report him and left. The next day I noticed the sign had been moved but still was not to visible at night.
I don't think this is ethical at all even if it might be legal especially since I have probably been buying gas there for about a year off and on paying cash assuming I was paying the price on the lighted sign when I was paying two to four four cents more than the other gas stations I frequent.
Once I was aware of this sneaky crooked practice I started looking more closely at the other three stations I use and was extremely surprised another one was using the same sneaky trick to fool customers and apparently I had been buying their gas at a higher price also... They are located at the corner of valley view and telegraph road in la mirada, also in southern california.
Perhaps they are both owned by the same people... At least their sign is a little more visible but once you see the lighted signs who thinks to look at the more obscure sign showing the real prices...
In my opinion if they are going to use these deceptive practices they should put the higher prices on the large lighted signs and the cheaper prices on the obscure signs. At least if someone topped to get gas at the higher price they would actually be getting their gas at a lower price, not vice versa...
I hope you will take a look at these gas stations as in my opinion they are actually stealing money from their customers and I think it is dishonest and disgraceful, and should be illegal.
Thank you
