Safeway review: payment not received

On december 14th 20018. I put 200 (cash) on a visa green dot. I lost the green dot card with my name on the card. Adrian guevara. I then walked back in to safe way on monday the 17th of december and talked to christina (who had handled my transaction). I told her that I need to call green dot from there safeway store. I then called green dot with christina right in front of me. I was told by green dot that they could not verify that I had purchased the card because they could not verify the that I was the person who put the money on the green dot card. I have the receipt right in front of me. I then called back to green dot from safeway 4 more times. The green dot people hung up on me 4 times. I then was told by christina "that im sorry that; sad but then is nothing I can do. I am am now out 200 dollars of my hard earned money. I work as a dishwasher. 200 dollars is 2 days work for me. Then I was told by christina that heather will be in the next day. So on the 18th of december I called to speak to heather johnson. I was told by a safe way employee that" your 200 dollar check will be ready later today" heather jonson (the store manager will call you back when your 200 dollars check is ready to be picked up.. I never received a phone call from heather johnson. So I went to the store the night of 18th of december. I was told that heather johnson went home for the day. So today december 27, 2018. I went back to speak with heather johnson. She would not speak with me. She told me I never told you to come into pick up a check. I told her one of your employees told me to come in to pick up a check. She completely would not speak to me about my 200 dollars. She told me to call corporate. I have researched the law on the matter.in the case of a lost or stolen green dot visa reloaded card. The 200 dollars falls back on to the merchant (who is safeway).
