I was at the pharmacy today, February 20th 2025. I went over there to request my prescription for my blood pressure medication when I got there, they told me that my prescription is expired. So I called my doctor and my doctor sent over a prescription, and they still wouldn't give me my medication, even though my blood pressure was 200 over 105. They told me that there's nothing they can do. And the pharmacist said that I was lying about my blood pressure being that high and that this medication is not gonna work for me, but yet i've been taking this medication for three years prescribed by my doctor and I've been getting my medication for 2 years from this pharmacy, and they told me that I never had this medication since September of 2024, which was a lie, because I take this medication every day they gave me the runaround for 3 hours I had to suffer with a migraine and my pressure being so high. My doctor had to personally call them and tell them to give me my medication. The worst experience I've ever had with a pharmacy. I will not be their customer anymore.
Desired outcome: Please have Safeway talk to their pharmacists about this situation and that they should not treat their customers like this. Because someone could die without their medication. Thank you

This happen to me, then I tried a different Safeway, then with all the problems I've had with Safeway, I transferred somewhere else because it kept happening!
Wow I am snowbird so in Bayview, Idaho in summer and winter in Wickenburg, AZ. I just got off phone with Safeway Pharmacy clerk in Wickenburg and very rude. I tried to reorder 90 day supply from my Synthoid prescription bottle with 3 refills. She showed refill of 12/19/25 but no refills. I explained that my bottle has until January 2027 refills 3. She said we do not have refills for two years; but in essence that is one year. She finally agreed to call my doctor office for refill. The reflection in her voice was nothing but rudeness. Why does Safeway not train their clerks in customer service? Rudeness is not acceptable in any environment. Also, why isn't Safeway Pharmacies interconnected on prescriptions as this is 21st Century of AI on computers. The pharmacist however in Wickenburg is very polite and informative but please train the clerks.
