McDonald's personal injure

I had a fall while with my grandson at a macdonalds in Langley, b.c. i had never been to this mcdonalds before and approached a booth from the back of it. i did not notice it was a step up booth as i was carrying a tray with two happy meals in tall boxes and i noticed the table was dirty. i told my grandson i would just set the tray down and then clear the table. i then tripped on the step up and fell on my writsts. one was cut and swolen and the other i had a previous injury that had healed and was redamaged. i have spent hundreds of dollars on treatment and medications. i still can't sleep at night without pain killers.
mcdonalds refuses to cover any of my medical expenses and in fact have been quite rude to me. they never offered any type of compensation, nor any condolences. i am thoroughly disgusted with this company and don't plan ever going there again.

McDonald's bad language, filthy rest.

As an employee and her boyfriend sat in the rest. they spoke clearly and loud enough about "mother ###ers, here & mother ###ers there ect.."give me some of dem chips ###"...ect. I was extremely annoyed...I think she was a shift manager...the garbage cans were overflowing with trash, and the restrooms were filthy. Food littered the floor, some of it was dried to the floor. The food was barely hot ...fries were sort of cold and "Flat" from sitting around too long. Kid behind the counter was obviously smoking some good weed, glassy eyed ### who had to study the register to give me back my fortyfive cents. Their is a hidden lesson here for my kids, go ahead smoke dope and you can be a foul mouthed not knowing how to give the proper change idiot and still work at Mcdonalds. Maybe next week he will be a manager...

McDonald's mistreatment

Apparently is isn't imparetive to protect and aknowledge that people, or peoples bearing children are to be considered a sensitive issue. You know, when the persons bearing and almost at there due date you continually find it imparative to work these preagnant persons 50 + hours. And when they don't feel well you tell them tough and to find someone to cover there shift. This goes for managers as well. Now... when someone sues the owner for all there worth they may, just mabey, get the picture that those who wanted a family now have to deal with a loss. Just a hint into a possible future outcome. You know... something to think about.

McDonald's hygiene

Went to this McDonald's which is inside the Walmart. I was in line with my mother and my child. My mother ordered first, then as I was getting ready to order a Male came up from behind and began giving his order.. and the cashier took it.. which was the first complaint. I thought it was quite rude.
Then, when it was finally "my turn" she tells me it's going to be a few m inutes becasue she is the only one there and she has to go make all the food. (There was no one else in line behind me..?_) Fine.
I waited a little while and went up to the counter and she greeted me as though she had never seen me before, asked if she could take my order then proceeded to plop an empty fry basket on the counter, and as I was ordering she was filling it with frozen french fries. Now there had been people leaning on the counter, babies were sitting on the counter, and Lord only knows what else the counter had been exposed to. She put the fries in the grease and I didn't ea the french fries that came with my meal. Pure lack of hygiene and food preparation protocol.

McDonald's hazardous material

Recently I took my four year old daughter to the local Wal-Mart (located in Brandon, Manitoba) She was hungry, so naturally I stopped at the first available place for food--Which happened to be a McDonalds located in the same building as Wal-Mart.

She ordered the standard "Happy Meal" and a yogurt parfait to follow.

During the parfait portion of the meal, I was shocked when she pulled out a STAPLE from her mouth and said, "Mommy, what is this?"

I was VERY angry (needless to say) and didn't feel I would be able to control my temper when approaching the teenage staff that was working the counter at McDonalds that day.

Due to this, I handed the staple to her father and he went to the counter with the complaint.

I was annoyed when nothing more was done other than offering to make us a new parfait. Obviously I wasn't going to allow something similar to happen, so we ended up walking out.

Of course they apologised, and due to their age had no idea what to say to us. For some reason, I am thinking an apology wasn't quite good enough when I think of what COULD HAVE happened, had she actually SWALLOWED the staple!

I am disgusted, annoyed, frustrated, angry and above all hurt! Hurt that a company that prides themselves on their standards had failed to make sure someone didn't stir in a staple into my daughters parfait that day.

See, it would be one thing if the packaging it came in CONTAINED a staple, and it just "fell in." However, this is not quite the case. There was no bags, no recept adhered to the bag in any form or fashion. This was a RANDOM STAPLE inserted into her yogurt.

Needless to say, my daughter, my parents, her father, and every single other friend of mine with children has stopped ordering from this fast food chain.

I would hope they would be more careful in the future. Thank God she was four years old, and able to notice something like that in her mouth--And not a baby.

Thank you.

hi, i have a complaint of a different nature...every week i walk my dog to the armories to pick up my sons...tonight we stupidly decided to get mcdonald's. we walked through the drive through...picture this...my boys are in uniform we have dog with us we have done this many times before. tonight we were refused service
why can't people walk through the dang drive through?
we stood inline for 15 minutes...atleast when we reach the wicketbooth with money inhand we were refused service

they just lost a lot of buisness in moosejaw tonight...it was only 9 30
if they can refuse service for a walk through, then they better put signs up saying so
i phoned then tonight and asked if a motorbike was allowed...they said yes

i then asked if a bicicle was allowed...they said yes

so if we were smart we would have used peddlebikes and received food

yet they advertise a healthy lifestyle?

what is more healthy than walking?

mc donalds has good food...but always f>>> up the order because their staff is primarily young, and preoccupied with puberty; i don't really recomend micky's late night...they almost 100% of the time get the order wrong. put it this way. the majority of their staff is way well 19 and under< full of flaming hormones and with thoughts of only sex...what do you think they are doing to your burger? screw mickeys...trust your own hands to make what you put in your mouth!

Saturday June 5, 2009 around 11:25 in the morning (Not a Busy time) I did a drive through at the McDonalds on Mrakham Road and 14th Avenue in Toronto, Ontario. As I did not have enough cash, I had asked the cashier whether she could put it on my Master Card, which she agreed. I did not have to sign, but just of habit looked at the charge and realized that I was over charged, by which time I had already come to the pick up counter. I mentioned that I had been not charged properly. At first the person disagreed, then of my insistance they figured that the charge had actually also include the previous customer's purchase. Now they agreed and gave the refund. Still it was short of the difference. I told them that the refund amount was wrong, again the person disagreed. He called the manager. The manager said if the cashier says this is the difference then that it was. Till this time there was no tension. I asked the manager wether he could have a look at the balance, he started to yell at me saying that he had other customers to take care of. I could see one car behind me. He asked me to go to the side - I said there was no room even if I went to the side for the other car to pass, and he needs to serve me as well. All this happened within two minutes. The cahiser then came out with the change for the difference - He actually wrote the math on the Mastercard receipt which I have saved with me. The Manager tells me wether this is the example that I set to my kids who were at the back seat of the car. He has no reason to say this and insult me infront of my kids when his staff and him are the ones at fault. I am not sure what he meant by example, wether it is asking for the proper change when short granted? I NEED ACTION by the head quarters of the McDonalds Restaurant against this Manager as he is not the right person for the job!

This is appalling... Ashamed to say I'd worked there for a couple of months recently. Let me just say I've had no desire for fast food since. The health hazards they'd overlooked were immense. There was a leak in the basement where all of the stock was kept, over time some mold had developed on all of the bags of plastic spoons. I asked my supervisor what to do with them, she said just throw out the ones with visible mold but continue handing out the ones that didn't. That was just one of the minor incidents. Another night while closing up, I was cleaning the stainless steel counters and pop machines when a metal plate was knocked out of place that was covering up a vessel to the pop fountain... There was some VERY rancid smelling and looking orange-yellow sludge .. Ah! I didn't know what to make of it, so, once again I asked my supervisor what it was and what I should do... She took a look at it and said "Oh, gross! I don't know. I guess, just leave it." so, with ease, she slid the metal plate over the silly-putty looking substance and nonchalantly walked away.
Word of the wise: avoid McDonald's Restaurant, Prince Rupert, BC, Canada.
BETTER YET, avoid McDonald's all together.

McDonald's dress code for managers

I went to McDonalds in Newport New, VA this moring (11/17/07) @ 9:31am store #24707 located @ 12705 Jefferson Avenue. The store manager got out of a car not prepared for work. She was fixing her tie and her shirt was hanging outside of her pants. She came into the restaurant and did not wash her hands. She went behind the counter and then she proceded to gtive the customers their food, still not washing her hands. This was not sanitary. Workers need to wash their hands when they are coming in from outside and from using the restroom. I called the store and asked to speak to the manager. A woman got on the pohne. I explained the incident to her. Her response to me was "Okay". She didn't apologize nor did she say she'll take care of the situation.

I would appreciate a call acknowledging that my complaint has been received and that there will be action taken.

McDonalds Sewells Point Road, Ms. Herrick one of the first Assistant Manager continues to harrass me about my age, what the H is her F problem, I want to know if she is bipolar, I know she is very very jealous of my accuracy and relationship with customers that she has to find a way to pick at me when she is on duty, Praise the lord, I have the patience to know that I want to have a career here and igonarant people does not interest me at all, one must always remember in one of the first training class remember that "LITTLE PEOPLE SPEAKS ABOUT NOTHING" it will take you a long way don't let anyone make you quit unless you want to, and also there are other ways one can go about making a complain.

The Manager has too much favortism for example the male works in drive thru makes $7.25 for doing nothing his position there is really not needed (talk about looking out for my people) I work my B off and will not get a raise she knows that there is a little word that is called (TIME)

This is more of a response to Nancy then anything... I just recently started working at Mcdonald's and I'm pretty sure they would have served you had you been on a bicycle or something of that sort. Though, because it's called a 'drive-thru', we aren't allowed to serve customers who just walk up to the building. Any other sort of transportation, I think, should be fine. I guess if this offends you, then you did say that there was a pizza place you can eat at.

I just went to a McDonald's drive through to ask for service. The restaurant is closed, but the drive through is open... you know the kind. They refused to serve me because I wasn't in a vehicle. Apparently there are no walk throughs. So, If I came on a bicycle or a motorcycle, they wouldn't serve me either? Instead of telling me so in a timely manner, they were ever so kind to allow me to stand there for between 5 to 10 mins, until another customer in a car behind me asked me to get out of the way so that he could be served. I don not have a car. I do not have a van. Would a bicycle have been considered a vehicle? Isn't this some sort of discrimination? Would they like to buy me what they consider a suitable vehicle for a drive through? Aren't I fortunate that there is a pizza chain beside it which closes at 2pm. So for all of you hungry customers who do not own a "vehicle" and cannot use the drive through at a McDonalds, perhaps find out if your local mcDonalds does walk throughs. By the way, this happened in Toronto Canada, on Finch Ave.W, between J street and D ave.

I work at a McDonald's first of all that time wait was because when a car pulls up there is a ding on the headset that allows the order taker to place an order a person is not big enough to trip the sensor also it is against McDonald policy to have anyone walk up to the windows because of fear of robbing.

McDonald's service & wokers not wearing gloves!

Going to Mcdonalds on 13875 Cypress North Houston Road for a simple big breakfast meal turned into a very upsetting encounter. Glen the restaurant manager was very rude! He was not wearing a name tag and his workers cooking the food were NOT wearing Gloves which I find DISGUSTING! I am not going to eat anything that has been touched by HUMAN HANDS! Everytime I go into this store I ask the workers to put on there gloves, which I should not have to do everytime I eat there. If GLENN was doing his job he would make his employees wear gloves while touching and handling the customers food.

I have been going to this Mcdonalds for 20 years . I ordered a big breakfast, with NO BISCUIT, add an xtra egg and have never in 20 years been charged for an xtra egg. Glenn was Rude and tried charging me $1.50 xtra for an xtra egg. Instead of making a regular customer happy, Glen made a scene in the store in front of everyone and told me " Well thats not the way it is here, you will pay xtra for your egg" HELL no I will not pay $1.50 xtra for my egg, I have been ordering my big breakfast this way for several years and have NEVER been charged! Glen is Rude, Unprofessional, and is a sorry excuse for a manager. I plan on contacting the health board and filing several complaints against GLENN, all over an xtra egg. Glenn needs to take classes on how to treat his customers and he needs to make his workers wear gloves everyday!

Code says food workers do not have to wear gloves as long as they wash their hands frequently. But i find your attitude very distasteful. McDonald's is selling a product and just because you have never had to pay for an extra egg, think you are owed free stuff?

McDonald's nasty food, poor customer service, unsanitary

Oct 29, 2007 I visited McDonalds location Bayside Lakes Blvd in Palm Bay FL to get lunch and waited almost 30 minutes for a burger and fries. When I finally did receive my food couldnt believe it was cold the fries tasted as if they had been refried from the night before and no one even apologized for my long wait. Not to mention when i attempted to fix my drink it was soda, ice, and food items all over the soda station! Very disgusting tables! Not to mention being located in area of many wealthy people with such poor everything is bad for business. I wasnt the only unhappy person there that left unhappy as well. In closing word of mouth travels so they may want to make some positive changes starting with better management!

I like to say that I have been at this McDonalds before and actually the employees were nice and attentive. I received my food immediately. I am sorry that these other people went through all they did but unfortunately things like the above mentioned are going to happen. Most drive thru's have lengthy lines inside and outside and you are going to receive cold items considering the amount of customers they have to serve all day especially during the rush hours. I suggest you visit them when they are not so busy instead. Again I have visited this McDonalds during a random visit to the Palm Bay area, and this was my first and only time I had been there.

I worked at McDonald's for 6 1/2 years, and while I know makig every single customer happy when you're doing a $2000 lunch rush is not going to happen, it is no excuse for the poor service these people describe.
I can't even think of a reason for having to wait 30 minutes for any item at McDonald's - the longest item to cook only takes 7 minutes! Yes, rush's happen, but to not even apologize for the wait? To not offer an apple pie or sundae "on the house" ? This was common practice at the West Melbourne stores I worked at (Patti Van Zante's stores are much better than corporate ones in the Bay).
For the comment posted by the McDonald's of Bayside Lakes employee, shame on you. You should defend your store, instead you make yourself and co workers look like the uneducated stereotypes McDonald's employees are pinned as all the time. If you are upset the "Fatass PB people" order food for their families and friends "all the time", why are you working there? In customer service and working with the public, you should have a smile on your face and put the customer first - because they aren't always right, but they are the reason YOU have a job in a ### ### economy!

I agree with the comment about the McDonalds at Bayside Lakes in Palm Bay FL. I have visited that restaurant before and I was floored at how terrible the service was. The employees are extremely rude and did not display a professional attitude at any time. I witnessed a customer getting cursed out by a child who claimed to be the night Manager. It took quite some time for her to receive her food while the employees were playing around in the back which was visible to all the customers, when she asked to speak to the Manager she was told if she did not like it don't come back. I immediately walked out and I was so angry. I tried to complain to the Owner but kept getting the run around so I dropped the issue as I felt that they have taken enough of my time. Definitely not good for business and they will continue to loose support from the very community who has supported them from day one. I feel that with today's economy, this McDonald's restaurant should make superior customer service a top priority. It seems its so hard to find good customer service anywhere anymore. and thats sad.

McDonald's bad everything!

I was looking for something late at night to eat and since I am in such a small town, I have few places to go. I picked McD's. Keep in mind I never eat the food because of orders CONSTANTLY being messed up. Well tonight was the last time and will be making numerous complaints. It was about 12:20 am, so they are on the last night menu. I wanted a GRILLED Ranch BLT w/ L fries and a L drink for the Monopoly money. I had asked if they had the game on the specified items I ordered and they agreed they did. So I continued my order. I paid about $8 for the order, which was ONE value meal [which is completely insane first off]. I don't eat in my car so I came home to try and enjoy this food. I opened my bag to find NO GAME PIECES on anything, after they said I would be getting them on ALL. I was mad about that but continued to open my meal. I opened the GRILLED chicken sandwich to find out it was a CRISPY chicken, which I cannot eat, that was the second thing and made me even more mad. Lastly I tried the fries, because I had nothing else left. COLD and CHEWY [keep in mind I used to work @ McD's and know when the fries are old]. I was FURIOUS! I decided to contact them about this, the female who answered the phone told me they DO NOT carry grilled after 12am [even though it IS on the menu] and I can get a free meal later on the next day. DO they really think this is good business? I wanted this food because I was hungry, and they would actually make someone wait for food they did NOT want? And the bad advertising is even better. I told her there was no way I was going to wait, I had worked a long day and wanted to eat and go to bed and say no, I will bring it back and you WILL give me my money back. With a bit of attitude in her voice, she said I could and I said OK then and hung up. I will NEVER eat @ McD's again, this is the LAST TIME!

Don't bite the hand that feeds you? Is that kind of like don't treat the people indirectly paying your salary like crap? I agree that many of these complaints are ridiculous (particularly the one with the woman wanting gas money and free food to compensate her for making her pay 3 cents for a fork when she was coming in regularly for forks and not buying anything so she could eat the lunch she brought from home), but some are very valid, especially about having the wrong food in the bag when the order slip has it right. It doesn't take much to read what you're being asked for by the person paying when you have it printed right in front of you on both screens and paper. Maybe if you gave a care about what you were doing or were half-way intelligent you probably wouldn't be working at McDonald's. Perhaps it's us who are wrong and we shouldn't expect a very simple job done right. Personally I get tired of getting home and having disappointed children because half of their food that we paid for didn't make it to the bag or their apples have soured and are starting to ferment. Driving back across town with half our food cold to rectify your errors is not really much of an option for most people. Yes, we could all check the order every time before leaving, but if you were doing the job you are being paid for, this would not be a concern. As far as special requests, the only thing I have ever asked for is to leave off the onions. My wife however is allergic to tomatoes and I know she is not the only person to be medically affected by the lack of worth in you and other people like you. Sometimes it's not just a picky ### in the line. Sometimes it just means that you could hurt someone, but as I said before, you're apparently too worthless to care. I know it's been almost a year since anyone has posted here, but I am hoping your address is still valid and you get this or that some other clueless soul that might deserve to read it does. And by the way, napkins with a meal are standard, not a luxury. Enjoy your mediocrity.

I am a McDonald's Manager and I have to say, you all
are a bunch of whiny cry-babies. First of all, not all McD's are corporate owned, some are owner-operated so they DO NOT have to give you McDonald's corporate number. Second, if you would stop ordering our menu items in strange ways...add mac sauce, no ketchup, add 3 pickles and 1 tbsp of onions, the order would'nt be messed up. Remember this phrase
don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Which tradition are we referring to? By the amount of people complaining on this board about their shabby service, I take it you mean the tradition of the customer is always wrong!

I was at the Mcdonalds in Stuart, fl (the one iside Walmart) I had ordered a breakfast item and while waitng for my order, glanced down at a headline in the local newspaper. The girl at the counter said" are you going to buy that paper? If not put it down" I look at her and could not believe she said that. I explained I was glancing at the headline waiting for my order, she said "it's the managers rule" I asked her to get the manager/he came and said "if you look at it you got to buy it" He was very rude when I asked for the Mcdonalds corporate number he refused to give it to me/ his name was Earnest and I feel he does not represent your company in the Mcdonald's tradition. I was very upset asked for my money back and left/ At no time did the paper leave the paer stand and total time I glanced at it was 30 seconds.I am really disapointed in the way I was treated.

McDonald's poor hot chocolate quality

I bought four Mc Chicken Sandwich Meals with 4 hot chocolate from McDonalds at Chelmer Village in Chelmsford in Essex, just to find as I got home that the drinks were quite dark. I took off the lid and saw that my cup was not filled to the maximum point. One quarter of my drink that I paid for was not in my cup. I knew that it could have been a mistake so I looked in the other three cups, they were all exactly the same. I was already very angry so I took some pictures of the three quarter filled cup and then started to drink the hot chocolate. The drink was thick and was much too sweet, it was the same with all the cups. It was very clear that there wasn't the right amount of milk as well. This infuriated me, when I pay for a drink (s) from a restaurant or a fast food restaurant, I expect to be given what I have paid for. Not a little bit less because I don't think they would have given me the food today if I had said I was paying a little less than the cost of the foods.

I enjoy the hot chocolates from McDonalds very much, but I feel that the quality left a lot to be desired today!

i agree with preeya and that for carebear to talk to you like that was awful. She was only 11 years old. For you to criticise her about complaining and fussing over a little thing, makes you as bad as each other. Your doing excactly what preeya did, complain about a little thing. Did you thing taking the mickey out an 11 year old is mature.

Good for you preeya. For standing up for yourself. I do agree with carebear that your literacy was rather good for when you were 11! I hope you have no more horrible hot chocolate!

Whoa that is truly shocking. If it weren't for this one time that the train refused to wait for me and made me miss my appointment with the beauty parlor then what you describe here would certainly be the worst case in human negligence I have ever heard of.
In fact when I read the part about the hot choc being much too sweet it almost made me shed a tear. I just want you to know that I think what your doing is right. More people need to post descriptive and lengthy posts of their experiences of their rare, but horrifying, accounts of personal tragedy. Maybe someday the negligent and utterly disrespectful McDonald's will pay attention to ours cries for help and refund us our $4 hot chocolate?
BUT perhaps we should not be so aggressive in our actions, perhaps the Chelmsford, Essex McDonald's simply had a malfunctioning hot chocolate machine? I know its quite ridiculous to assume so but maybe, just maybe, the world will live on.
Oh and I want to say that I noticed that you are 11 years old and that I admire your literary skills and spelling accuracy in your writing. Such skill is seldom found on the internet. Also I felt when I read about how you said you felt very angry, that I TO felt very angry! Your telling of the horribleness of this excruciating hot chocolate even continued to eventually INFURIATE me.

And I also much enjoy the taste of the McDonald's hot chocolates, and having worked there I know that the hot chocolate machines used are from an independent company not associated with McDonald's and are of a high quality. Although I have never experienced any problems with the actual machines I have found that the customer is an expert at finding them.

I understand that when you pay for a drink at any restaurant you want top quality, but on the rare occasion that you do not get your entire moneys worth of quality or quantity, writing an angry post about it on the internet isn't going to change ###. Unless you like complaining, which I sense you do.

McDonald's poor service

On a recent visit to the Cuba, MO McDonald's I was very unhappy with the service. I was patiently waiting in line (only 2 people on the registers and about 10 people in line at each) when I was subjected to unfair treatment. I had just placed my order and was waiting for it to be filled when another couple came in and were noticed by a manager and obvious friend of theirs. The manager came out from behind the counter and pulled them slightly apart from the other people still waiting in line. As I had already ordered I had stepped to behind most of the others awaiting my order and was able to hear what she told them. She asked them what they wanted, they desired almost exactly what I was waiting for and what was having to be done at the time because they had run out. Hence, my waiting. I then witnessed the manager go back and about that time take the food that had just been put on the shelf into a bag and bring it out to the people. MY food! How do I know? Because as she started to get it another employee stopped her and said something to her that had them both looking at me and catching my eye. That didn't stop her she took the food brought it out from behind the counter and gave it to her friends telling them it was on her. I then had to wait for a second order of food to be made before I could get my order. I have not been back!

On 4/06/2008 @ 6:15PM my son and I stopped here to eat dinner. We waited 15 minutes for our food at the counter. The staff seemed lazy and the restaurant seemed under staffed. While waiting in line 3 different families complained. 2 of them complained of slowness. The 3rd party complained of the salt tray to be empty. After the food arrived we went to get our drinks at the soda counter...No straws! by this time I am fustrated because I had to be somewhere at a certain time, ...and this is supposed to be fast food? So I had to go to the counter and asked for straws. As we were eating, my drink was severely watered down, so I also tasted my sons and his was severely watered down. We drank Fanta orange and Frutopia Strawberry. I take my child to macdonald's often and never had such a bad experience as this one that is why I am taking time out of my day to write this.

Friday, June 19, 2009 9:15 AM ordered a "Big Breakfast" and"Senior coffee". Waited in line a full 15 minutes for order.
"Snotty Manager" hovering around counter employees making
things worse. He personally gave my order to the person behind
me in line who ordered same thing with a "side of gravy". If he
had payed attention to the sequence of orders on the counter, he
should not have done so. If he was paying attention, he would
have noticed the undue amount of time I stood waiting (I was
wearing a white straw cowboy hat-only such customer in the
store). Had to ask twice for ketchup. No apology for delay.
Actual counter person was polite, friendly and efficient.
Manager should go observe operations at the Guilford College
McDonalds where I frequently go.

hi,
i am along time costomer of the mcdonalds resturants. i have enjoyed many of meals which your employees have provided during my years of patrionige. dipenent on the various location i have purhase meals i have been treated with dignity and respect. i have in the past wanted to, or have thought about lodging complaints but have always thought that there were extentwating surrcumestances with your employees and felt that i would do a diservise to that particular franchise and to a novice employee you have chose to hire. however i will no longer silence or accept the treatment that i endured on 12/02/2009 at 1907. i had just entered, no one was in line, i was about to place my order when a white gentelman cut in front of me and place a order for and ice cream. i was had just arrived and the cashier had had the gaul to to respond to this patron remarks when he said "i know what i want" by responding "you know what you want. i stood dumfouneded. as i waited until his order was filled and before his cone was given i said to the man it was very rudd of him to jump in line like when i was about to order he opolygied and said he wasn't aweare that i was ready. i infored him he was basically right behined me when i walked in. he wanted to alow me to go before him i let him know he had already ordered. upon him recieciving his i creeam he turned and spilled the top of his ice cream at my feet. (i felt it was intentional) and and the cashier responded with "oh will clean it up". this was in total disregard to the possible damage to my clothing or the possiblity of me slipping on the ice cream. she never called for any assistence to cleaning up the ice cream mor directing me to a nother register to put me out of harms way. it was just left there for me to slip and harm myself in my opinion. this is un accetable as a long time patrion and and a respectable individual in this establishment community. my wife was school a school mate to Olivia who opened this franchise and i am very disappointed in what i experianced on this day. the cashier Mechelle apolygied, not for anything by keep sying she was sorry. i suggested that she grow up as i felt hed apology was not aplogetic nor sincere. i would like a formal apoligy from the establiment and a promise this will not happen to myself or any of my friends who, with myself will not be treated in a most disrespectful and a defamed manor again. because if it could happen to me, who has gone there since it's inception it could happen to anyone.

P.S. I WOULD APPECIATE AN RESPONSE. I WILL NOT NOT CORRECT MY SPELLING AS I HAVE NOT RECIEVED A PROFESSION SERVICE.

Saturday June 5, 2009 around 11:25 in the morning (Not a Busy time) I did a drive through at the McDonalds on Markham Road and 14th Avenue in Toronto, Ontario. As I did not have enough cash, I had asked the cashier whether she could put it on my Master Card, which she agreed. I did not have to sign, but just of habit looked at the charge and realized that I was over charged, by which time I had already come to the pick up counter. I mentioned that I had been not charged properly. At first the person disagreed, then of my insistence they figured that the charge had actually also include the previous customer's purchase. Now they agreed and gave the refund. Still it was short of the difference. I told them that the refund amount was wrong, again the person disagreed. He called the manager. The manager said if the cashier says this is the difference then that it was. Till this time there was no tension. I asked the manager whether he could have a look at the balance; he started to yell at me saying that he had other customers to take care of. I could see one car behind me. He asked me to go to the side - I said there was no room even if I went to the side for the other car to pass, and he needs to serve me as well. All this happened within two minutes. The cashier then came out with the change for the difference - He actually wrote the math on the MasterCard receipt which I have saved with me. The Manager had no sense of service and had too much pride for an appology. He must have felt that I didn't know math or may be me being cheap to get additional change from his till. The Manager tells me whether this is the example that I set to my kids who were at the back seat of the car. He has no reason to say these out of context matters and insult me in front of my kids when his staff and he are the ones at fault. I am not sure what he meant by example, whether it is asking for the proper change when short granted? I NEED ACTION by the head quarters of the McDonalds Restaurant against this Manager as he is not the right person for the job!

On May 16, 2009, 08:23 I went to McDonalds at 4210 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122 with my grandson and sister. I ordered a Deluxe Breakfast, chocolate milk, and specifically asked for a French Vanilla Cappuccino (after asking the cashier if it was on the menu and receiving a yes). After waiting about 5 minutes (not bad) for the order, I went to the booth where my sister and grandson were waiting. My complaint- you do not carry French Vanilla Cappuccino. When I sat down, I took the lid off my coffee and was upset that for $3.29 I barely got half a cup of cappuccino. I took the cup back to the counter and ask the employee to fill it to the top. For that price, I wanted my moneys worth. I then went back and took a sip of coffee and almost spit up. It was nasty. I had my sister taste it to make sure. We were right. I then took the cappuccino back to the counter and asked them to give me the correct cappuccino and that is when I was told you do not carry French Vanilla. I was very upset. I said "then just give me a large cup of coffee". The manager "Wes Hunter" told the cashier to give me $1.89 from the register and I stated "NO, I want a refund receipt and a receipt for the large coffee which apparently upset him. He came over and made the refund receipt and then another for the large coffee (which to me should have been free) with the change of $1.96. To have a manager so lazy that he would tell his employees to do things incorrectly (the fastest & easiest) is irresponsible and totally unacceptable in my mind. Besides, doing it "his way" was ripping me off. I told him that I was writing a complaint and he just shrugged. Never once did he apoligize for being misinformed about the cappuccino. What a disgrace for McDonald's to have employees (managers) like that. I ended up with coffee instead of the cappuccino that I wanted. Exxon one block down the road is my favorite place to get cappuccino and I would have gone down there if I had not been misinformed from the beginning of my order. OH YEA! What's up with having to tell the cashier how many creamers and how many sweetners you want. Are you guys that cheap that you won't leave it out for the customers? Good Grief.

I am very unhappy with the customer service and the service of McDonald's staff on Summer Ave. in Memphis TN. I would like an apology from WES HUNTER in writing. He can e-mail me at
Examsdchogan@yahoo.com. I expect this within the next 2 weeks time frame. Order #308 $10.36, Refund amount $3.59, Order #315 $1.63

Sincerely, D. Hogan, an unsatisfied customer

i normally frequent this mcdonalds on my way home from work, and this particular time- friday night that just passed, i wanted nuggets and double cheeseburge deal. i made sure i'd asked if the nuggets were freshly cooked because when i get home, they are always old.

i ate one double cheeseburger and didnt realize it was mushy... when i actually saw the other it was raw. i woke the next morning vomitting violently. this is the worse case of food poisoning i have ever experienced.

please always check your food for anything...fresh, smell, hair, you name it. i have written off fast food for a while.

this is mcdonalds location is on eastern ave in middle river / chase, md... next door to bengies drive in theater. be careful.

I have visited McDonald's in our local area 3 different times (11202 Leopard St. Corpus Christi, Tx 78410) in the past 2 weeks ordering the Southwest salad and each and every time I get up to receive my salad and they are out of the dressing that comes with it. This is very very aggrevating. It would be so nice if the person taking my order would tell me when I order the salad that there is NO dressing rather than take my money and send me through the line to find out when I've already paid and they are handing me my salad. I don't understand why a salad with special dressing is even offered if they can't keep the dressing on hand at all times. Thanks so much for allowing me to vent. I hope you guys can make the experience better for you customers.

McDonald's there are other places to eat!

I drove to the nearest McDonald's at about 5 minute to 5am, October 21, 2007. I arrived there and realized that I had to order breakfast (I was in the mood for a Big Mac). I didn't see a sign displaying a breakfast menu so I inquired about it. I heard a muffled response; "Oh My God"! I responded; "What do you mean, Oh My God! I don't see a breakfast menu." The young girl's response was; "Oh sorry, I'm pretty tired". After placing my order, I drove up to the first window and paid. After driving to the second window and waiting about 10 minutes, I proceeded to park. As I parked, the young girl came to the service window with my order. When I drove back to the window to retrieve my order, her response was; "Thank You, Bye". I know that they have video serveilance at this store. I WAS THE ONLY CUSTOMER THERE FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES! I'm sorry that I went there and intruded on whatever they were doing. I've never had any issues with any McDonald's until now. This location is at Wharncliffe and Baseline Road in London, Ontario, Canada. They have ignorant, immature, juveniles working at this establishment. I am certain that there are people out there, needing work, who would better serve the consumer. Also; I cannot even find a specific customer complant area, on the internet, from McDonald's. I am a 39 year old, hard working tax payer who's enjoyed McDonald's for most of my life. This humiliating experience will give me hesitation in ever eating at McDonald's again. For the big wigs at this corporation. "THERE ARE OTHER PLACES TO EAT"

In this location lot of Filipino works and for past two years most of the time when we go for coffee in the morning is always warm if almost cold. Me and coworker had complaint so many time. Some time they told us to come and get a free coffee by the manager. Or the server will ask us if we can wait while they make a fresh coffee. Is my money is not fresh. On drive through we order then no body at the cash, I waited then honked or sometime I just drove to the next window and pay them there. Also inside they will have only 1 person on the cash, even on busy time. Many time I waited then left. Wrong order I had few time. I had drive back from home to get the right order and they never offered anything. It's endless and many people feel the same. No competition in this town so they don't care I guess. But something need to be done. Thank you

McDonald's scam and cheating!

I have been playing the on line game now for two to three days. At first i thought it was me so i let it go, but the past couple of days... #1- it states that i already used my game piece code number. #2- today i should of won a very high price cash card but when the computer counts the spaces it is skipping where it should of landed instead it gives me the property i already one. So i think this is a very big rip off...

Beware!

The game doesn't cheat- it has programming flaws. I see the same game piece showing up in my properties multiple times. I have it accept a code for a property I already have, then it gives me a totally different property. I have it tell me i've already played a piece when that property isn't marked as collected. I have had the website freeze up, and then the next day say I already played the piece when it's not accounted for. I finally spoke to the local macdonald's where I've known the manager for a long time, and they tell me that there are tons of complaints, but just put the stickers on the in-store hand out board and at least you will win when you have all of a set collected- that doesn't require the online part. As others have said, their india based online answers to emails always assumes it's our computers and that they need to be patched. I'm an IT professional and my systems are patched daily. In addition, nothing our computers can do should ever have THEIR database grant us properties that we don't have game pieces for, and vice-versa. It could be that the online database doesn't match what has been printed on the game pieces- that would explain most of *my* problems.

YES THE GAME DOES CHEAT,AT FIRST I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS ME, THEN EVERY TIME BEFORE I ROLLED I MADE SURE EXACTLY HOW MANY SPACES I NEEDED TO WIN, I NEEDED ELEVEN SPACES TO WIN $25,000, I ROLLED AN ELEVEN, IT COUNTED ME FOR TEN, I THINK THAT IT'S ###! AND THEY SHOULD PAY UP! I HAVE SENT THEN EMAILS, THEY WONT ANSWER THEM,MAYBE IF WE GO TO THE NEWS AND SEE WHAT THEY CAN DO TO HELP US, OR SOMETHING? I KNOW THAT THERE IS SOMETHING THAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS FRAUD THAT MCDONALDS IS DOING, I EVEN HAVE WITNESSES.I AM NOT A HAPPY CAMPER, AND I DO PLAN ON DOING EVERYTHING THAT I CAN TO REDEEM MY PRIZE!

I also have tried to enter numerous codes. The game freezes upon registration and then tells me I've already used the code. I did manage to win a $19.99 downloadable game, which my son loves, but still. I don't go to McDonalds to spend money only to get a code that wont work.

It's true this game cheats. There have been a number of times that I counted while the game piece moved and it has been short. Today I should have landed on community chest which would have been a $5.99 free game download and it only went 7 instead of 8 spaces to a property that I had previously landed on and also ate up one of my codes without letting me roll the dice.

I do not have any evidence for or against the incorrect number of spaces, but if you people would actually read the rules that you agreed to in the first place, you might realize that collecting all properties does not instantly give you the prize. It simply enters you in a DRAWING to win the respective American Express gift card.

I have had the exact same problems, plus more. The way the board rotates while counting spaces distracts you, but when I double checked, I was right: The game piece did move the wrong number of spots, putting me on ones I'd landed on before.

Just now I attempted to enter 8 new codes. I had previously landed on only 8 of 40 possible spaces. Six times I landed on spaces I'd previously landed on, which is statistically next to impossible. I rolled doubles once, so out of 7 rolls I gained one new space. And two of my codes were ripped off from me because the system is so slow it hung up while it was processing my registration. When I tried to re-enter the code that had failed to gain me entry to the game, the game told me it was a used code, even though I'd never gotten through to rolling the dice. Having players enter a code before they register is just a scam to use up our codes. I've never played a game that required me to enter a code before registering before.

This online game is a complete rip and McDonalds needs to be sued over it. Count me in as the lead plaintiff.

The exact things happened to me. The number on the dice was not the amount of times it moved. It landed on a property I already had. The dice spun and and I finally got all of the pink and it stopped short without awarding me my 1,000 dollars. RIP OFF.

McDonald's employee attitude.

hi,

this is in reference of my worst experiance in the Mcdonald at Panipat situated in the BIG BAZAR.

today, we are 4 friends there, ordered 2 Mc-puffs and 2 mc allo tikki and they delivered the
order.

but after eathing the half of the Mc allo tikki burger, my friend told that u are eating
McChiken...i surprised to see that it was really a chiken beetween the bread with the
packing of Mcallo tikki cover... my head stuck with stone when i thought what i
eaten in the "NAVRATRA VART".. we both (me and my freind) stuck and looking each
other face and we rushed to the counter..
there we ask what heppend with us in the holy day of NAVRATRA's..

when we complainting the thing...the manager Mr. KARAN MAHDIRATTA comes and he
asked and argue with us with a loud noice...which also attract the peoples
restaurent...and keeps his hands free by saying "APNE GALT ORDER DIYA HAI"
"JO APNE ORDER DIYA HAI, HAME TO VAHI AAPKO DIYA HAI"...WE ALSO WONDERED ABOUT what
he is saying...when we placed our orde, he was not there and we all are
confirmed what we ordered...

now, he began the wrong talk in the curtain of good word like the smart people does.
and ask the gatekeeper to pull us out with the threat of the Police...

we all are there surrpised to see that even after wrong delivery to us, he tries to
become more smart by asking the gatekeeper/ watchman to through us out...we also
stubbornded..."let the police come and now one the police through us out"

Now the seen created...every body in the restaurent looking at us...we are
qurelling like dogs in the restaurent...which looks like to illitreate are
querlling each other in the village without carring anything.

and the manager SAHIB instated of beeing applozied his mistake, fighting with us very badly.
the situation is now seems like dogs & cats fights with the lots of talks... the originally
track of matter is fogetten by both, now we are fighting for our EGO.

After a long talk... we sit on the chairs and waiting for the police to come...after 10-15
mintus one of told him " when the police come to through us out"...he told "wait of a
moument"... and he act like he is talking to soomeone for the same matter with the
help of their subordinate...we still waiting...

after a long time, the magager SAHIB come and Feeling sorry...we can't understand his
all of sudden "change in track"...but we are also right on our place...he sopile
our respect among the many peopls by saying "CHALLO BAHAR CHALLO" by weaving his hand and
showing us the way of the door...and "BAHADUR IN LOGO KO BAHAR NIKALO" and
"JAO KOI POLICE KO BULAO. AB VO HI INHE BAHAR NIKALEGE..." (to one of the employee)

after all the thing we leave that place...beacze we do't want to make the things which
spolie our image being localite in the city and thousand of peoples known to us...

-------------------------

the above episode is a leason for us in our life to not come again in the MCdonalds..because
they can play with us, can play with our family and ore over our feelings and emotions
of "PAVITAR - NAVRATRA day"

here, i only want that to keep ur employee inthe attitude and polite with good
service parameters.

"I NEVER EXPACT THE RESPECT WE GOT IN FRONT OF THOUSAND PEOPLES...WITH THE KASAM
THAT WE NEVER ENTERED UR MCDONALD...

KINDLY TAKE SOME ACTION TO RETAIN UR BUSINESS AND RESPECT AND BRAND IMAGE...

McDonald's food portion and uneatable fries

Yesterday, Monday, October the 16th at 7:30 pm - I went to the drive thru to purchase to regular value meals (number 7) which is the chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato and mayo...
When I got home, my husband and I realized that the sandwich had nothing but the bread and a DRY and "nugget size" piece of chicken... We drove back and talked to the manager... she turn around and gave us 2 new meals... the size of the chicken pattie was still half the size of the surface of the bread and on top of that the fries were so salty that we couldn't eat them!
Just a terrible experience... we normally do not eat in fast food restaurants but I happen to be preganant and I had cravings for a chicken sandwich... I could have been better off going to SUBWAY!
Regards,
MBA Maria Vera

McDonald's - removed their best salad from the menu

McDonalds has now removed their best salad from the menu, the Southwest salad. Without knowing, I order one at a drive thru during my lunch break from work. After being informed they no longer have the Southwest salad, I'm offered the regular Bacon Ranch or Caesar. So I choose the Caesar with grilled chicken. What do I get? A regular garden salad with...

McDonald's poor service!

On 6th September 2017 I visited the Mcdonald’s restaurant in Hyderabad located at the City Centre, Banjara Hills with my family. One of the staff came to me and told about a Mcdonald’s Fun day Hungama that is to be conducted on 16th September 2017 and requested if my son (6 yrs old) would be interested. I felt it to be interesting and paid an advance of Rs.149 for the event. The staff had noted my name, address and contact phone numbers and gave me a receipt for Rs.149 (Receipt no.12449). My son had been talking to everyone about the event and was very much excited about this.

The depressing and irritating thing happed on the 16th morning when we reached the restaurant at 10:15 am. The staff there coolly said that the event is canceled and they will provide food for that amount. When I asked why they did not inform me about the cancellation of the event, he repeatedly said we will serve food as if we had come to eat. When asked to refund the money he refused and after raising my voice, he went inside had some discussion and gave the refund after making me wait for half an hour. When I asked him to write and give the reason for cancellation he refused. Till the end he never apologized for not informing me of the event cancellation.

This was a very bad experience I had experienced in any restaurant till date. I never expected such an experience from a Mcdonalds.

I’m not sure who keeps an eye on the McDonald’s staff but this has been going on for years at the Fremont, Ohio Rt. 53 McDonald’s. The management there has been getting its employees from mainly family members making it impossible for more qualified people to get a job and it makes my blood boil. Its a long time coming but I feel if the higher ups at McDonald’s checked their management they would find out what is going on there. One of the managers cousins also attacked a customer outside the McDonald’s because he was allowed to do what he wanted.

In my opinion also that McDonald’s is one of the dirtiest I have ever seen. Also in my opinion allowing more than just family to work there would open up jobs for other families who need them. Maybe someone should look into this past employees and present to see just how this McDonald’s is being used for personal needs. To let this go is wrong and to allow this manager to continue to work for McDonald’s is just wrong. We’ll be checking to see just how McDonald’s really cares about the quality of their customer service.

I stopped at McDonalds on singing hills with my grandkids the three of us odered meals that had fries. I took them up to the counter and asked for fresh fries because what we got were cold and not even warm. The person that apeared to be a mgr wearing a black shirt tbe rest wore red shirts. I was told it would be 3 min. Then I saw the mgr dump are fries back in tne warmer then scooped them back up to reserve and stuffed them back in fry containers. he saw me watching so he threw all them away after he refilled and set the old back on the fry holder. Then deep fried more. not friendly at all just got a rude look and no apology.

Just before 6pm & again just after 6pm on Nov. 28 a homeless man came into mc donalds walkied over to the area near the restroom & attacked another homeless man hitting him in the head & face, threatening his life & throwing a chair down. This was done in front of customers & a male mc donalds employee just stood there walking back & forth. The male manager calling the attacker by name asked the attacker to leave. And the attacked walked out the door.

Then moments later the attacker came back in mc donalds & the manager again asked him by name to leave the attacker did not leave this time. The manager went back through the door behind the counter. The attacker then attacked the same homeless man again in the same area near the restroom. Hitting him on the head & face & threatening his life. Then he walked out the side door nearest the restroom. There are cameras that can completely verify the entire incident that I witnessed along with other customers.

My question is why did the manager NOT call police. It was clearly an assault in front of cameras in a public place in front of paying customers. This behavior does not make customers feel safe. I know they try to help the large homeless population in the area but a crime is a crime. I need to know that behavior like this will not be tolerated.

I drove through McDonalds at Malden MO and bought two ice cream cones and a caramel apple sundae with my daughter and my 3 yr old son. The amount was 2.66 I paid with 2 dollar bills a quarter 4 dimes and 1 penny she didn’t give me a receipt. I pulled to the other window and was questioned by three people about paying, then the manager questioned me and by that time I was aggravated and I repeated that I did pay and she called me rude. They finally told me to go I guess they must have looked at camera or counted the door.

I was never apologized to. I stop there every morning on my way to work, I had my sons birthday party there in february and bought him a happy meal earlier. I never complain about anything but this was embarrassing and they were hateful. I just thought you should know.

At this point in time, I will for the last time give detailed information to the numerous complaints I have with a specific location. (Lakeside, california, along hwy 8 east, off los coches exit). The franchise nor the corporate co. Will ever help or remedy. Given numerous chances, having numerous errors, literally ripping ($) you off, our family is done. Not only with ‘this franchise’, but no longer will mcdonald’s get a penny from us in the future. This I promise!

I need to say, we are not whiner’s, complainer’s or looking for a freebie. For @ least two years @ this franchise (Lakeside, california, along hwy 8 east, off los coches exit) we have experienced cold food, wrong food and not getting the food we ordered and paid for, before finally logging a complaint (By driving back to the site to try to remedy – to no avail). Given “we are so sorry - will never happen again” and yet it happened again, “your wrong”, (Even given a receipt showing the factual truth) & told to come back another day to talk w/the manager.

The last.. Employees laughing and snickering blatantly to your face. Why – because hey…. We are mcdonald’s, there will always be a customer behind ya. To be so dis-respected (On numerous levels) the contact with corporate was ignored and given no response. Kick me once, shame on you – kick me after, shame on us. I got the message…. All good. Tomorrow it is all about subway! Better nutrition anyway.

To franchise manager of (Lakeside, california, along hwy 8 east, los coches exit) you are a pathetic business-person. To corporate mcdonald’s – shame!

Due to the line of work I am in, I have to work several Saturday’s as well as public holidays. Mc Donalds on the P91 road in Kempton Park, is en route to my place of work. Because they are 24 hrs, I usually buy breakfast items at this Mc Donalds. I really enjoy the Chicken fold over wrap and prefer this item to any other on their menue. The Chicken fold over contains lots of lettuce and two tomato slices amongst other contents.

My complaint is that the lettuce leaves are not fresh. You can smell that the product you are about to eat contains some spoilt food. The tomato slices are also not fresh, they smell sour. One bite of the Chicken fold over is enough to make you not to want to support Mc Donalds. This morning I thought, ok, I know that the fold over is not as fresh as it should be, so I opted for the MC Chicken burger and I also selected the Sausage MC Muffen.

The service was really fast (under 30 seconds), while I was paying for my order, the parcel was already dangling at the collection booth. When I took it, I could smell the lettuce leaves…. Upon taking the first bite, I could taste the spoiled leaves, when I opened it, I found wilted yellow to brown lettuce leaves mixed with fresher green pieces umongst the thick mayo layer.

Aargh………. Luckily I still had the Sausage McMuffen to eat. The bottom line is, don’t eat anything with lettuce or tomatoes on it from Mc Donalds P91! Eat what you don’t like much seems to be their motto, at least, this is the message I got.

Can someone please investigate this complaint, I have experienced this problem multiple of times and if Mc Donnalds P91 can resolve this issue, I know that they will retain and gain more loyal customers.

I am an asian and use to love eating macdonalds, had a fillet o fish meal everyday. Last week i went to macdonalds i was refused to be served as the staff in macdonalds are claiming that the the fillet o fish meal is not suitable for vegeterians as the staff are not doing thier job properly, because at the end of the day when they filter the oil out to clean it they are not keeping the fillet oil separate and are filtering it with the rest of the other food which means contamination. I am very disappointing to the fact that up until now i have been eating something which is not halal for me, and the fact that the staff in there are not doing their jobs properly.

McDonald's fruit n yogurt parfait!

I went to Mcdonalds at 9:24am and ordered the 2for2 order which was bacon, egg and cheese biscuits and a yogurt parfait. I ordered one biscuit w/o bacon. The manager gave me my food and assured me one of the sandwiches had no bacon and he gave me an extra parfait bc "they made an extra one by mistake". All of the sandwiches had bacon. I called the store to make a complaint and the same manager offered me a free breakfast or lunch tomorrow. I ate one of the parfaits and placed the other in our commercial refrigerator for tomorrow. I opened my parfait today around 12:15 and placed my nuts from the package in the container, took my McDonald's spoon and began to stir. I was shocked when I found a small black bug enjoying a swim in my parfait.
