fake identify malicious stalking
Facebook is doing NOTHING to resolve an issue...
I am not a big advocate of social networking but my wife uses it for her small but business. Three days ago, someone posted a fake profile of her and since then has been deliberately and maliciously stalking her, harassing her, and attempting to defame her by associating her as a porn star. She is taking legal action but in the meantime, after several notices through the normal channels, Facebook has done absolutely nothing. In fact, if anything, it appears that they are stalling and avoiding it. All the while, the fake person is gaining popularity by using semi-nude photos and more.
My wife's business is targeted at mothers and children. This malicious effort has already started to impact her business because that is the one market (and Christian conservatives) that won't tolerate that association. She feels violated by the attacker but more than that, she is hurt that Facebook seems to not be taking it very seriously. She spent three very hard years building her business on no college education and no business know-how only to see it begin to crumble in a matter of days.
My advice - stay away from Facebook but keep tabs on whether or not someone is saying negative things about you. Do not EVER post photos of your children on it either - you just don't know who is out there!
Facebook doesn't care and doesn't follow up. They WANT the controversy and are putting their heads in the sand when it comes to problems.

Blacklisted or identity theft?
About 2 months ago I attended my niece's funeral whom was killed by an (alleged) drunk driver. This was the first time I visited the majority of my family in 7 years. My sister and nephew started a memorial page for my niece. I was amazed at the kind and wonderful responses they sent to her "group". For nearly the week I visited, there were around 500 posting from her schoolmates, long lost relatives and friends. I was urged by my family to join, but when I tried to join, I found out my e-mail address was "disabled". I tried repeatedly to contact Facebook's Help Desk from my home e-mail address and through work, yet I never received an explanation on why my address is disable when I never had an account with them previously. I am totally unimpressed with their "customer service". I was urged by family to create a new e-mail address and try starting a Facebook page again... it worked and I'm now communicating with my family. My main worry is why was my e-mail address "disabled" in the first place? Is it being used by someone else nefariously? Is someone defaming me without my knowledge? Serious concerns that I need answers to. Since I never received previously a "Sign-up Notification" that should warn me that someone was using my address, I believe there is some serious glitches with Facebook that need to be looked into. Hope I can get some answers. If anyone had a similar experience, I'd like to know.
Hello Everyone. I'm not sure whom this "Irish" is, and I do not see the comment she made that brought most of your responses "off topic", but I appreciate you giving her a tongue lashing. Unfortunately, most of the "on topic" information was not very reassuring. This company, I believe has far outgrown it's capability to acknowledge their IT and customer relations problems, which you can see is starting to effect their Public perception. The privacy screw-ups they have been dealing with lately are their biggest concerns, and I doubt they will do anything about my problems until they really start losing more new members. I'm really happy with what I've built on my page so far, and have 44 friends contacts. If I somehow was "disabled" again, lost all my contacts, would i create a new one and start over. I doubt it. Hopefully there is someone whom can give me a constructive answer to my "disabled" dilemma, so at least I can feel safe that my "disabled e-mail address" is safe. I have complained and reported to Facebook the daily, almost hourly hacks on my account. I also gave them the email address used to hack and takeover my account ...ministarpaul8@hotmail.com. These attacks occurred shortly after I started playing zynga poker, one of the many games Facebook reaps millions of dollars by charging for chips, upgrade, and various items. Facebook failed to respond to my numerous warnings, yet after I employed ALL of Facebook security measures which are inadequate someone still managed to make short work of Facebook security and take over my account. This would have been much worst if I did not have the mind to delete my credit card information, which Facebook forces its users to save to their account. The hole in Facebook security has led to my emails being hacked or attempts by hackers to reset my passwords. I have been forced to purchase a password vault to secured my accounts with strong passwords. Even though my yahoo email was hacked, yahoo provide better support and security to prevent a takeover unlike Facebook. Facebook has done NOTHING but ignore my complaints and warnings. After my account was taken over Facebook finally contacted me by email with a cut n paste copy of their security measures which are useless.

My daughter had three transactions totalling $623.33. These transactions were not authorized and have emptied her account. She has not given out her personal account information to anyone at Facebook.

Hi, For some reason when i logged into my Facebook yesterday it told me that my account had been disabled. I emailed their appeals thing with another e mail and was told i wouldn't be able to use the e mail and that i had to mail from my account e mail. That e mail is ruined and i will most likely never see the in box of that ting ever again. But my real complaint is this never would have happened if they dint deactivate my account in the first place. The reason for it was none, I had no body even added on it but was connecting with a game on it i had played for several monthes and worked my way up. Over charge
Mr Joseph Portelli Attard of the above business agreed to the job of installing a water pump and flow valve, agrees to charge only 'cost' on parts, and charge only for labour (I was more than happy to supply parts myself)
Once complete I'm left with a handwritten receipt and no official Guarantee of equipment. It emerges he has charged 50 euros on top of the shop price, this is why he refuses to give me official paperwork, the proof. When questioned about this he lies and maintains that this was the true selling price, even after I tell him I have called the shop that supplied the equipment (AFS) and they have told me the true price!
He now pretends he can't hear me when I call, refuses to accept that he has been 'found out' and refuses to hand me the necessary paperwork for the warranty of the parts. A liar and a cheating coward!

This fellow wont pay bills or pay back money that is under a few hundred dollars. He runs a rental house in Thornton Colorado where he wont return renters security desposits. He also won't pay the repair men that do small service jobs on this house. He knows that any amount under a few hundred dollars is safe for him to take because no one from out of the state will want to spend the time or money coming after him.
Pinnacle Investment did pay the ammount due. It was very late and took a lot of phone calls to get. Be warned.

Do not order boots from Uggfacebook.com. They are not an approved Ugg dealer. Their boots are fake. I ordered some and they didn't fit, they smelled like chemicals, and were obvious fakes. Unauthorized stealing of funds from bank account
I have been a customer of NOVA and now Elavon for over 11 years with no problems, suddenly they have taken over $210.84 + $30 from my business checking account, causing it to be overdrawn and causing me to be charged fees from my bank. when I called them about this frantically - they advised me it was their error and they would issue credit. I was SO relieved!
When I called them I expected no problems since I have been a customer so long and never had problems with them before, and it went fine in the beginning, Mandy told me they had taken this amount from a large amount of their customers in error and were going to issue a mass credit to each customer. BUT they have no idea when. Talking with supervisors Lisa Oliver and Amber (X7867) they basically told me that it is just to bad that they took this money by mistake during a recession, at Christmas time from small businesses all across the nation and they they will issue credit some time but have no idea when. they also advised me that even though this was their mistake and they would give me my hard earned money back
"at some point" they would not pay any of the bank fees I have now incurred because of them stealing this money out of my account without authorization and not returning it once they found and admitted their mistake. they also do not return calls even if they say they will, I have still never been called by anyone at Elavon!
I would highly recommend NOT doing any business with this company.
I have been in the credit industry for over 21 years and have never been treated so poorly by anyone I have ever done business with. They are self admitted thieves.

I encountered a scam attempt on Facebook.com. I was contacted by some people who told that I have received compensation concerning my case on the scam victim’s list. I was indeed on that list after reporting a Nigerian scammer (even though I didn’t lose any money on that occasion). These people sait that I am eligible to receive $5000 on a daily basis until the total amount of compensation reaches 2, 5 million. In return they’ve wanted to get my personal details and ID copy. This is obvious scam and I’m not sending them anything.
I made two purchases on Facebook and was charged for three. when i disputed this with Facebook they locked the account. through a series of emails that Facebook initiated to get my son's account back i have had no luck. i have spent more than the two purchases on his account and have lost it all. beware of spending money on Facebook and definitely if your account is important to you don't dispute the charges. let them rip you off, cause they need the money more than you do! :( boooooooooooooo Facebook! would attach photos but that would be like giving candy to a baby. too much sensitive info.

On Facebook I was playing a game called Gardens of Time. It called to buy gold if you wanted more to play with. I bought some the total was 92.97 dollars. I was playing the game and all of a sudden it stopped and told me that I no longer was connected to it. I have tried several time to get back onto the game, but I can't. In the meantime I can't use what I bought and I would like the balance of what I haven't use refunded back to my debit card account. I know this may seem petty but a lot of people I know and possible employer see that and a company should not be able to associate my name with a low IQ unless I really take the test and tell them they can divulge that information. I talked to some of my friends and they said they thouught I took a test, then when I told one his score she said she never took the test after it said on my computer she had a lower IQ than the two other people. i got hacked yesterday, and the motherfucker changed my email adress on the fb account, and i can't get it back no matter what i do, and i can't contact facebook support
The approximate dates include December 27, 2022 to present. My account was hacked and someone is publishing household goods for sale under my name. They have changed my information that does not allow me to regain control of the account.

They mislead people by telling you joining fee is R15 then they deduct the month prescription fee which you didnt even agree to or read about which is a whole R378 plus the R15 which is now non refundable I didnt even use they service except for chating to the robot before paying the fees

Have been "restricted" due to supposedly posting offensive child sex items, but my a/c has obviously been hacked. This is from today, 23/12/2022 for 2 days. I have not done this.
I have had my account restricted for no reason whatsoever, so either a mistake or a malicious hack?
100% impossible to contact Facebook on this matter and am furious.

Larry Bryant uses any means necessary to meet women. His current game is trolling Blackplanet and facebook. If you google him, you will read many glowing stories about this man and the HIV/AIDS movement. Yes, admirable, but there is another side to this martyr!
This "man" has the ability to suck you in with his words of fidelity and trust. He will tell you it been years since he has fallen in love and no one but you has made him feel this way. He claims his issues with woman revolves around trust issues! Yeah! trust issues because LB cant be trusted! I met him on FB and he approached me with everything I wanted to hear. He promised me the world and that I was the first one to make him want to open his heart. He was "scared", but our "love" was worth the risk. We even talked about the possibility of marriage and a "forever"! LB, do us all a favor and stay in your lane and date WITHIN your league. Stop spreading your lies and possibly your HIV to women that deserve a good man, a faithful man, and honest man, a clean man, a disease free man! We are too sexy, smart, classy, independent for you! You got us because you had some really good lines and appeared to be so vulnerable! Well, the truth is out! Crawl back under the rock you came from!

I noticed some things interesting in your intro statement: You tell Larry to date within his league but he must have been in your league because he was able to manipulate all of you. If I'm talking marriage /forever with someone, I would have had to be the woman on his arms at these events, in his writings, photos and at family gatherings to believe such a thing. If you read his interviews, he said his work comes first and then he'll think about settling down--that was a RED FLAG for me that he will play until then. It is slander to even indicate that he would indulge in risky behavior to put someone at risk--personally, I know that is not true. Unless you are now HIV+, you need to stop making those comments. Anyone can spread the disease through risky behavior but don't make it seem like that is his intention because he admits he is positive. That is truely irresponsible, especially from such "smart, classy, independent" ladies like yourselves.
If you thought you were so smart, sexy, classy and independent, how could someone out of your league manipulate you with words. I would rethink some of those adjectives. As far as the internet goes, red flags come up whenever someone starts all that "you are my Queen" "marriage/forever" BS and don't even know me. I don't let my ego believe that I am the only one for this person without alot of actions to back it up. And how is it that all of a sudden a man who makes his reputation on talking about his disease (so you knew) is not clean enough for you but was good enough to steal your hearts and if he really wanted you...could have had you. That is a low unnessary position to take and why his work is so important because the stigma still exists. Who is the vulnerable one? Let's face it, with all your nice adjectives, you are just as superficial as the next woman. Larry is attractive (don't change your mind now) and that is why women try to work around the disease. If he was short and balled, he may have gotten your prayers but not your heart or your time. You thought his disease made him vulnerable to just be glad to be with someone and that person would be you. Just add superficial to the adjectives too--to be fair. It's nothing wrong with being superficial--I love "eye candy" but realize it can come with a price--and I'm not the only one that's enjoying the view.
I did not know Larry was this powerful or that women who apparently saw good in him would go to such extremes. You have the right to get the word out if it makes you feel better. But enough is enough, don't you think. After all, he is a public figure and doing good work. His personal life should not be interferring with his work that people rely on him for and come up in every search about him. If you no longer care about Larry, you should care about the people he serve. It is no longer about alerting other women but trying to mend a broken heart. I would hate to see what would have happened if he had a real relationship with any of you--what the reaction would be. Not to make light of your hurt--emotional relationships are powerful but it takes two. Take responsibility for being so vulnerable and not having all the actions match the words--at least meet the man before you agree to destroy his name---REALLY. I only talk to people locally so I can meet them and see what's for real--not internet fantasy for those that did not meet and spend time with him.
I also noticed some people who dated him supporting your cause but that's bias because they had feelings too and it did not work so they want him to get his. Don't say I can't relate-- because I cared about him too for a short time so I have been there with Larry Bryant being all I could talk and think about. But I put things in perspective, take responsibility for what is real and what is not and MOVE ON! Just because you think it's a relationship does not mean it is one.
Also, remember you reap what you sow--the internet can work both ways--do you want info posted about you on all these sites? Just like you have info about him--he has gotten to know things about you too. Maybe you will appreciate the person he really is by not stooping to your level to use the information against you. If there are any christians here, FORGIVENESS would be good right about now. But I shouldn't have to ask--it should be apparent by your actions. Be blessed and pray for Larry and hopefully he will pray and forgive you too.
You may not be the only one, but you are the main one. Admit it you said the extra same things on the other profile that you prefer everyone to. You just changed your name. If Larry was so bad then why not just make the complaint and let it go. You tried to ruin the man because he hurt you. Ripoff/scam
I was duped by this company who offered 5 magazines for $27.00 USD. I just checked my bank statement and I was charged $91.00! This was part of a "come on" on facebook for a game where you "earn" coins by playing the game and as a means to "earn" more coins, you are given a choice of "offers" promising a certain thing, in this particular case magazine subscriptions--five magazines for $27.00--where you enter your credit card info and upon payment from your bank, you are awarded the "coins." This is deceptive and dishonest. Had I thought it was going to cost me $91.00, I'd never have participated. I suspect I now much cancel my credit card to avoid additional charges to my account. I am furious with facebook and this total scam company. I feel the attorney general's office needs to investigate this company and plan to advise him of such.

I'm calling tomorrow morning (9-5 CST), and will contact my bank for a new card no. and am contacting facebook in addition to the attorney general's office. My account was hacked. No one available to speak to. Finally, I lucked up and found a live chat. Sent my ID and a video. Then out of nowhere the video dropped. They then sent me a code. It did not work. A different code was sent a total of 58 times and each one said it did not match. I need help!
