Dollar Tree management/employee theft, stealing product, cover-up

I am going to stay anonymous about the following subject and I really hope this complaint is handled properly cause I cannot see dollartree knowingly allow for these types of situations to be happening right over
their heads and be fooled by your management at your Riverside Ave Store
in Rialto. I will stick to the facts. I know of two people at that store, 1 is a manager Melissa and the other is Tamara. These two employees are stealing or allowing each other to steal from Dollartree. Money is borrowed and put back at a later date by these two employees. This does
not go any further cause of course 1 is your manager. They steal money
from the drawers, try to blame it on other employees, but then the money gets put back by the manager, who tries to give the $ to other employees to put back, which they refuse to, cause it wasn't them that took the money. so if they put the money back, it would demonstrate guilt, so therefore manager will cover up. tamara is allowed to, or even tho everyone has beenwarnedto not enter certain areas if they arenot on the clock or scheduled towork, tamara does. when sheis on the property, moneyis stole, and recently, tamara took and hid in someones car many many boxes right out of the store and told the other person that the company stated in directives or somethinglike that, that she was allowed to take the items. understand that this was a large # of store product. this tamara shows up on the days when the others unload the freights trucks, and she leaves the doors open, unlocked, entersthe property, stealsproduct, i'msure, and boss lady knows this, allows for this to happen. this store is getting ripped off big time by your manager and tamara. theywork together, get rid of anyone that makes a bit of a stir, or tries to get rid of them, and this is something that dollartree should know. Melissa is not, I repeat is not someone you shouldhave as a manager. sheis a thiefand is allowing this othe employee to steal money and try to blame it on other employees. I bet you guys don't even know this. this tamara takes $ right from your guys tills on days she works, day she doesn't work, she is allowed tostillgointo the drawers and take money, doesn't show she is there, notsupposedtobe there, takes money and items, then returns towork like nothing. this is ridiculous. what kind of regionalsales mgr do you guys employ that does not monitor things closelyto know this. does he/she have any kind of meeting of management and employees to ask what they know? I am sure if you guys really care about that store this will get takencare of. if this Melissa and Tamara are still at your guys store by the end of the month, you guys must be involved aswell, icannotsee anyone allowing thistohappen. these two have all the other employees in fear for their job if anyone tells on them. plz keep the few honest employees you dohave, make this store great and fire Melissa and tamara after investigating these allogations. thanks anonymous

Dollar Tree drunk employee

I was in store 06220, an employee "shonda" was telling her manager she couldn't be on the register because she had been drinking. He told her she could go stock something. I didn't know dollar tree allows their employees to be drunk at work and smell like liquior. I am a regular customer in this store and most of the workers are very friendly. I don't see how that guy manager couldn't of sent her home.

Dollar Tree store manager customer service

Store 990 located in Prestonsburg, Ky has the most unprofessional employees I have ever witnessed at any retail store. They are always on their cell phones or standing outside smoking. The manager is usually there with them. It seems like one big party all the time. I use to enjoy going into the store and browsing, but now the store is so unorganized, dirty, and the employees are so rude that I will not shop there anymore. The staff even uses foul language, the manager being the worse. I haven't been in that store recently that I haven't heard at least one employee curse. I tried speaking to the store manager about the condition of the store, but she just got rude and defensive. Two other employees, a young girl with long blonde hair and a dark haired girl who appeared to be in her 30's, stood snickering as the manager named Carla talked rudely to me. Not sure what has happened to this store and management, but I will not be shopping there again.

Dollar Tree manager is very rude and unprofessional.

I couldn't believe how the manager (Mary) treats customers, employees and vendors. I will no longer shop at this store due to her attitude. The workers seem to be afraid of her and don't smile. I wouldn't work there and feel threatened either. Someone needs to take a look into this matter. The store needs to have some attention as well seems to be on the cluttered side for being a new store.

Dollar Tree employment

As a associate, freight mananger, assistant manager, store manager.
When truck deliveries are comming to locations why dont the freight managers need to be there that is their title. Why does all the other staff have to get together and do the truck, why dont all staff get paid same dollar amount if they have to do truck when freight manager does not have to be there or does not want to be.
They wil give parttimers extra hours if the fulltime began to work over there 40 hrs. Without benefits & bonuses. The full timers get all the benefits & bonuses when the parttimes work is as equal. But due to they are partimers dollartree takes avantage of there parttime employees. This is why dollartree can never keep employees they do not want to offer nothing good to the hard working people.

Dollar Tree treatment of co-worker

Our store (06622) was a mess with previous manager. Since she's been gone, our merchandise manager is also our acting manager. She put a fire under us and turned this store around 100%. We have a great team now and we all busted out butts. She (Francisca Lara) was suppose to be our new manager. She was gone for 4 days due to a death in her family but left the store in good condition. Because the asst. mgr didn't pull her weight, the store took two steps back. Scott came in to inspect the store and was not happy so he took the position of manager away from Francisca. This is not right. She wasn't even in town. The asst mgr (Toni Fiero) was responsible for the store for those four days. This Scott person doesn't know what the hell he's doing. You're going to end up losing some of your best employees because of this man. We have met our sales and then some. We have our regular customers back and our store is 110% better because of Francisca Lara. You'd have to be a fool to take the manager position away from her. Why is she being treated this way? You can ask anyone about her and get positive feedback. She pushes us hard for a reason. She takes pride in our store and so do I. She should be offered the position back since she's the one who was merch manager and doing manager duties and working seven days a week with no days off. And how was she rewarded... The opportunity to be manager was taken away because the asst mgr could keep the store up. There was no bonus for holding down 2 positions and bring sales up. And now you want to give us a manager that only knows how to do the office part of being a manager and you want Francisca to train her? That's a slap in the face. If you're going to give us a different manager, at least make sure she knows how to run the whole show, not just the sitting down part. If anyone should have their position taken away, it should be Scott.

I put my ham in the dollar tree cooking bag as it was in the oven for 10 minutes it caught fire, and caused the inside of my over went into flames. My whole house became smokey. I am very lucky my oven was in the basement and stayed closed until I got my fire extinguisher and put out the fire. My ham was filled of plastic from the bag.

Store on Redmond circle road, Rome, Ga. no matter what time of day you go in, the store is absolutely nasty. Floors are filthy, boxes all over floor, shelves in total disarray. Employees on duty must not know how to keep a clean store, showing no pride at all. Where is the manager and district manager? I can see why they are short on help. Dollar Tree manager harassment

November 21st 2017
8pm-8:50
Manger Tony Lannari was following myself and two other people. Lannari harassed us.
The three of us walked into the food section of the store. Lannari was already working in the section upon us being there. Lannari was stocking shelves at the time. We walked past Lannari to view more products. Lannari approached us and asked if we needed help purchasing products. We replied no thank you. I had a conversation with one of the other employees (Megan Vance) in the same section because I went to school with her. After finishing the conversation with Vance, Lannari had commented "they are taking too long to decide." He said this to Vance. Shortly after making that comment Lannari approached us again "are you sure you guys are getting anything, do you need help?" We again replied with no thank you. After those comments we began feeling uncomfortable and decided to go to the section on the left to wait for Lannari to leave the food section so we could make a purchase. Lannari than followed us into the section. Geffy who was one of the three people said out loud "I feel uncomfortable." Lannari replied to Geffy saying "You should be." We decided to leave after this comment was made. Lannari followed the three of us to the store's entrance/ exist. As we approached the entrance/ exist of the store Lannari said "watch the door go off". Lannari also made ringing sounds to represent the alarms of the store going off. We left the store.
At 8:33 pm I called my parents to talk about this issue and they suggested to go back into the store and report him to the store. Myself and the other girl I was with went into the store at around 8:40pm to talk to Lannari. I approached Lannari saying "hi there I would like to speak to your Manger" Lannari replied "I am the manger" and walked away from me. He went to the front of the store where the cashiers were. A lady who was in the aisle I found him in commented about his behaviour as being "rude". I went to the front. After laughing at us, I asked Lannari "did you excuse me of stealing" Lannari replied "yes". I pulled out my debit card from my mitten. I said "I had money to pay" Lannari replied "if you had shown me that earlier I wouldn't had followed you". I asked Lannari for his stores information of who I can contact to report this issue to. During this time Lannari was scattered. Lannari was doing multiple things (helping Vance with register for example), he was laughing at us, he was smiling at the other 2 employes. Overall Lannari was making a joke of the situation. He as well made comments about how he accuses all teens in groups of stealing. During the interact Lannari tried to lie about events that happened because other guest were beginning to listen in on our conversation. When which my Geffy said "you are lying about what happened." Lannari told us to wait to write down his information. He grabbed a receipt from another customer and wrote down his first name. He did not write the store's phone number nor his last name. He gave the paper back to me. I looked over at the paper. Lannari replied "I'll give you my last name too." I replied "you're most likely the only Tony that works here so it's fine I don't have your last name." Lannari then grabbed the paper out of my hand. I responded "you're acting aggressive towards me." He chuckled at my comment, again acting like the situation was a joke. He gave me the paper. He did not say anything else and began to walk away. I thanked him for his time and left the store around 8:50pm. As we left he again laughed at us with the other two employees. I told Lannari "you should never treat people that way." Again he laughed."

Lannari judged us solely based on our appearances and mocked us. He bullied a 20, 18 and 16 year old out of the store. I understand people do steal from these locations and that workers do need to keep an eye on stealing. However, I work in customer service. If I were to have treated someone the way Lannari treated my friends and I, I would be removed from my work place. The comment Lannari made about accusing all teenagers in groups of stealing proves that I am not the only person to have experienced this type of harassment by Lannari. I told a couple off fiends about what I experienced and they knew exactly who I was talking about because they have done the same to them. Lannari mocked us. As an older gentleman who is at least twice all of our ages and a manger I would expect some form of respect. I felt absolutely disrespected. Not a single apology came from Tony Lannari for the false accusation Or the mockery made. He tried to make us feel guilty for being falsely accused. My friends and I did nothing wrong. We did not steal and we were just planning on buying a chocolate bar. As soon as I asked for a manger he walked away from me. I believe because of my age (18) he belittled me and tried to bully me. I felt as though I needed my own parents to come down to the store for Lannari to take me seriously. Lannari should not force people to prove they are paying when browsing. I've browsed at many stores. (the mall stores for example) and have never had the experience I've had with Lannari. By law unless a person is about to purchase a product at the cashier's desk, they have a right not to show their debit, debit, etc to staff. He tried to lie to us (the people who experienced his bully) about what happened. Tony Lannari showed overall what an awful example of an employee looks like.

Dollar Tree discrimination against my 5 year old grandson

My daughter visited dollartree in northgate shopping center Carson City Nevada on nov 17 around 10:-10:30 am. She had her 5 year old son with her and a small kid backpack because he has type one diabetes and needs his medicine and snacks at all times. She was told to leave her backpack upfront by an employee that she couldn't take it in her cart. Then was approached by security concerned there was a bomb in the backpack my daughter explained why she needed it with her and my grandson was scared with everything going on and they didn't care. She showed them what was in it. I'm very upset with this behavior from the employees and how this was handled.

Dollar Tree service

I was in DOLLAR TREE #4537 on 11/19/17. The Company offered a 10% voucher in honor of customer appreciation day. Someone should have informed the employees of this event. When I reminded the cashier (J) she was extremely rude stating "this is the Dollar Store there are not discounts, everything is a dollar. Did you know that? I did not respond to her rudeness, clearly she was unaware of this promotion. She informed me that I could not use the coupon on my 1st order because she had already rang it up. I consider that very poor customer service, if you advertise something why cant the store honor the coupon. Then I had a 2nd order and I attempted to give her the coupon in advance, she said just hold, I did, she totaled the order and forgot to apply the coupon. She became agitated with me and stated "Oh now you want to give me the coupon" The manager was equally as rude. I will never patronize that location again. I don't care if I am spending #1.00 or $1, 000.00 I deserve better customer service especially on the so called customer appreciation day.

Dollar Tree Customer service

Hello.
To start I literally been calling every dollar tree within 25 miles of my home to find the paw patrol figurines for my sons 4th birthday party. Every store I called they were helpful and checked the store inventory for me, I was able to find 8 so far. I called the feasterville-trevose store which is in Pennsylvania and it's about 25 minute drive from my house. I spoke to an older sounding lady with a deeper voice she didn't give her name in her greeting. So her greeting was "dollar tree feasterville how can I help you." I told her my situation I live far and was wondering if she could see if they had any chase paw patrol toys in stock, if she had them in stock and could hold them for me I'd come right away to purchase them. She immediately got an attitude with me. She's like "uhhhhhh, I don't know." I said could you please check for me I don't want to pack my kids up and come if they don't have them. She goes "oh ur gonna have to call Back later I don't have time." I think customer service isn't her speciality. She definitely needs to be reprimanded. I am very upset with that stores customer service and I will let social media know.
