Dollar General parking lot repairs!

The parking lot is so ridiculous at our jefferson, oh store location! Dollar general has been notified for 2 years about it and will do nothing. It's so bad it actually breaks cars driving through the massive holes and i've heard from the manager that they would rather fix customers cars than pay for a new lot! These "potholes" are as big as the whole entire entrance so you can't go around it. It's about 2-4' foot deep! And many more throughout lot. Even the delivery truck drivers complain weekly. I've heard the manager say to them that corporate will not do anything about it, she has sent them pictures and numerous complaints and they said it's easier to just pay for peoples cars to get fixed then pay for new asphalt.

Dollar General I was forced to leave for the day

I work in San leon and our regional manager sent someone to help with doing truck. I showed up this morning and about 1 hour Shelly comes up to me and start accusing me up being under the influence. Which even all my other Co workers know that it wasn't true. She had told our manager thoko that I wasn't getting anything done when I've been working my a** off to get key holder. I just really feel like that should not be allowed store location is 2415 fm517 San leon 77539

Dollar General hiring procedures need to be looked into asap!

The Visalia store on Mooney the manager is a flat out liar. I was pass over for someone
else he claimed which was fine. Marcus claimed he hired someone else and the same guy is working their with him why lie? The store in Goshen is no better there is no number to contact a manager or anyone for that matter. The store in Orosi the same girl answers and never gives the manager the messages. If your are wondering why no new hires are coming in its because those stores are preventing it from happening. Due to this behavior I will never shop at any dollar generals again and I will keep telling people about these stores.

Dollar General accidentally left a shopping bag with the receipt in it

I accidently left a bag of the products I bought ($9 bottle of gain beads, 2 bottles of japanese cherry blossom body spray) and she had put the receipt in that bag. I was in the store about noon. I drove from the pacific store to berger mo, about 53 minutes away. I called the store today when I realized what i'd done (about 6 pm). The person on the phone did not identify herself and said she would call her manager and call me right back. It is now 7:41 and I finally had to call her back. She was arrogant and hinged on being rude. She said there was nothing she could do as I did not have the receipt and there was no bag there. I told her the receipt was in the bag... Again. She repeated that there was nothing she could do and said if I wanted to argue the point I would have to drive back down there and argue with the manager but the result would still b the same. Now u tell me... What went totally wrong with this conversation? At this point, I want my money back and I will spend my money somewhere that cares about their customers. I have spent about $100 a week consistently for years st dollar general. I'm saddened to see how far the stores have sunk. If I don't get my money back with taxes, I intend to call the bbb and file a formal complaint. Please respond promptly.

Dollar General employee

Hi, I'm writing in regards to an employee at a local store in which I live here in Mississippi. The store number is #012176 located on let one Blvd. Diberville Ms. 39540 her name is Amber Elliott she's very rude to customers and I shop there daily. Always rude to us and talks with people about illegal drugs in front if customers. I would like someone to please look into this matter otherwise me and my friends & family will further our shopping at another store. Also would like add one more thing she also speaks to other employees in such a manner that is very inappropriate. It makes shopping there until comfortable. Respectfully, Katie moore

Dollar General the service

The store in Drain Oregon. The manager has absolutely no customer service. I purchased a fan and got it home and it was broken. The weather is 90 plus degrees. Called the store 10 minutes before closing and was informed I couldn't come back to exchange it until the next day. We live in a town that takes minutes if that to get somewhere. Beyond disappointed.

Dollar General service, cleanliness, rude obnoxious employees

Store # 14201 on South Catherine Street in Plattsburgh, NY...They have at least one good employee, Dakota, I go in the store and she is running register, no one else around, and I need help. There was at least 10-15 people in the line, I waited about 30 minutes. One day I used the mens bathroon to fond it absolutely disgusting. Urine all over, and it looked like someone had the runs. Garbage was overflowing and it was just, well, disgusting. The manager is alqays on her cell, ans gets upset if you interrupt her.

Dollar General the evening manager

She acts as if it's a burden too do her job, she has treated me awful countless times because I'm a newly divorced mom of 3 temperarly on ebt food stamps.
Every time i shop when she is working she is running in and out smoking or talking to random people who pull up outside. Looks like a drug deals are happening on the side at this store. If she hasn't been drug tested recently maybe you can look over your employment policy and make sure all tests have been properly performed and Carried out honestly.
Absolutely a mess inside and out and I'm surprised someone who is wheelchair bound hasn't reported this store. I know they refuse to shop here because
Boxes are thrown around blocking isle's, full mop buckets left out, (drowning hazard for children)
The turnover rate is extremely high due to the night managers lazyiness and neglectful behavior towards customers and employee's.
I won't go too this store again as long as she is around, something is not right here and I'm not the only one who sees it.

Dollar General no air conditioner

The Dollar General #.9306 It's hot in this store, the girls that work there, are sweating. By the time I get out with my ice cream, it's melted. I looked at a thermometer in one of the isles and it said 90 degrees. That's ridiculous. All the other stores around have good air conditioning. That's ridiculous. That store has been like that for more than 5 years. A big corporateing like that, should take better care of there store and employees and customers

Dollar General working hours

My Daughter hired in over 2 months ago, since then she has not been scheduled to work no more than 8 hours a week ! The past two weeks she has been scheduled only 4 hours per week ! Plus they hired a new person 2 weeks ago and she has worked every weekday the past two weeks! I would like to know why my Daughter is being discriminated against ? This is unacceptable!

Dollar General store #18847 closing store manager on duty 6/18/2018

To whom it may concern,

I am a regular customer of store #18847, and upon entering the store, instead of a greeting, I was given a stern time frame for shopping as if to be annoyed. There are better ways to inform a customer of the closing time rather than how I was rudely greeted upon entry. This in return creates a hostile environment by putting the customer in an uncomfortable position as to how to deal with a worker who has treated them unfairly for no reason other than their own personal dislike of a customer coming in close to closing time. If this employee is unhappy with their position, I'm sure there are plenty of homeless people would jump at the opportunity to have a rewarding job that they would take serious and take pride in what they do and make their customers feel welcomed regardless of the time.

I hope this issue with customer interaction is addressed sooner than later as I am unaware of what the next interaction with this employee may lead to.

you need to realize that a lot of people come in close to closing and don’t leave when they’re supposed to. it’s nothing against you. they just need to get people out on time.

Dollar General service

I purchased Dreyers ice cream which was posted to be on sale for $3 and when I got to the register they rang up for $4. I question the cashier and she walked to the freezer and pulled the $3 sticker off and came back and said that sale went off yesterday. I told her since it was still posted that she should give me the $3 price she told me no that I would have to pay the $4 price. I called back to speak with the manager Staci & asked for regional managers name & # but she didn't know it.

Dollar General store plays trashy music and it is too loud, manager is not friendly and racist, i'm white and the manager called me the n word

The music is trashy and too loud so whenever I come into dollar general i get irritated and the store is very unorganized. Hard to get into the parking lot too. I asked someone to use the restroom and they said that they lost the key and I asked someone else about the restroom and they said that it was for workers only. Then I appeared to the manager to use the restroom and the manager said that this restroom is not for n**** and for workers only. Dollar general I hope you are proud that you lost a customer and I hope your shop goes out of business soon. I wasted time doing this review. Negative stars if possible.

Dollar General the manager at the goodland, ks location

I would like to complain about the young woman whom is a manager at the goodland, ks location. I was in ther store on Saturday when a vendor came in and I witnessed her walk up to him in front of his wife and daughter and proceed to yell at him about product in the back. He said to discuss things when he would be working the store. She proceeded to follow him through the store while he was still with his family trying to shop and harras him and speak very rudely to him. Other customers and employees seen and heard her do it. Not very professional at all. I believe there is a time and place to speak to someone and on a weekend with their family just isn't the right time or place. Shame on her for trying to belittle him and speak to him in that manner. Very embarrassing for that man, his family and your store. While I'm complaining about her, she's never inviting, friendly or professional. Just thought you should know so she can be spoken to about her behavior and how she should speak to her vendors. Dollar General rude cashier

I went into the dollar general in keyser wv, store number 02668 today. My husbad was with me. I got the items i wanted and proceeded to checkout. I told her i was going to do 2 transactions as i was using digital coupons from the dollar general site. One was my telephone number and one was my husbands. He was standing right there with me in the line. She proceeded to tell me i was commiting coupon fraud because i did 2 transactions! I could see if my husband wasnt with me and i had 5 different accounts. But i have 2 one for me and one for him. Not to mention these were coupons on ur websites! I am completely upset and i will NEVER visit this dollar general again! I have never felt this disrespected in my life! I will not recommend this store either! I have never had any issues with anyone in this store besides today. I have never seen this employee either. Not sure if she was new or not but her customer service sucks! And because of her disrespect i will not be back.

Dollar General farmville manager/alan and workers

we live in a rural area. stores are limited.walmart, foodlion, catos walmart.
when you walk in the store the manager keeps a frown on his face. he
does not speak to you.i am a customer. i do not owe you all nothing. if
it was not for the customers you all would not have a job. i feel that he
does not appreciate his customers. he doe smile and talk to his white
customers, i dont think i will be going to dollar general anymore. super
dollar is back. super dollar you have a customer for life and im sure that
i am not the only one.

Dollar General phone wallet money stolen

I was in Rockaway, NJ Store today and someone I feel took my phone which was in a wallet type case. I looked all around were I was which was only 4 locations in the store and also in the trash and bathroom and nothing. Some of the employees helped me a little bit but it was not located. I asked the girl who was the manager in charge but she said they were to busy to look at the tapes. I am going to make a police report since I do think it was stolen.

The part I did not like is that she would not look at the camera what is the point of the cameras.

I had credits cards, money, my phone taken and it means a lot to me. What do I have to do to get the camera looked at.

I was there today Sunday between 2 and 3.

Dollar General customer service

I was in the valatie ny store today to return some clothes. I had the receipt and tags in the bag when I gave the rude lady behind the counter my stuff. When she took the stuff out of the bag she lost one if the tags and started to get rude saying that she was the only one working and I washolding up the line and she couldntg have that. First of all that's not my problem every time I'm in that store there is only one worker hire somebody. Than she proceeds to tell me that now she can't even resell the stuff why all other stores retain the stuff and rehab it. This is twice that this snotty woman has been rude. Last year I was in there and u had a low blood sugar and passed out I left in an ambulance a friend of mine was in there and opened an orange juice to give me and the worker all she worried about was who was gonna pay for that damn juice. I will no longer be going in there because that rude [censored] is always in there. So I would like an apology or some thing I spend a lot of my money in there but I won't be any more.

She acts like she's running a marathon when shed checks you out she's grabbing the stuff out if your hands she's rude. I had what I needed and she had no right to treat me like that. She was rude last year too when I was in there shopping and I has a low blood sugar and i left in an ambulance but my friend who was in there also opened a small orange juice to help me the only thing she was worried about was who was going to pay for it. Forf gods sake it was a 1.00 was it gonna break the store. I deserve an apology or some thing . I will not be going back in that store again. Dollar General service

I made a purchase today Sunday June 17, 2018 and the bell beeped when I left. The assistant manager came out and told me not to return. I voluntarily came back in the store and emptied my purse on the counter. She would not come to see. I had no pockets. She if I came back it would be trespassing. I am considering bringing action. Dollar General didn't receive 2. oo coupon

I had a large order and at the end of the order I asked if all my coupons came off especially because my mom had a problem with one before and I was told yes . I got home half hour away and realized the 2.00 didn't come off the 52 oz Palmolive dish soap. I was going to go back today and return it so I could use the coupon. But I guess yesterday was the last day. I should've gotten the 2.00 off is there any way I can have a coupon? I am at your store at least once a week doing my shopping. Thank you.
