How responsive is CVS's customer service?

Very poor 🤒
We don't know much about how CVS handles customer complaints outside ComplaintsBoard, but what we see here, on our website, is quite disappointing. We think there might be reasons for the company's actions (like not knowing about the complaints), and we would be happy to see them among customer-focused businesses that easily solve customer problems. But until that happens, we ask reviewers to be cautious when dealing with CVS and using their services, and to carefully read the experiences of other customers on ComplaintsBoard, because who is warned is armed, you know! 💪

CVS bad business ethics

Please do yourself a favor and avoid CVS pharmacy like the plague. I recently had to have my pharmacy change due to insurance requirements...moving from Walgreens (no complaints, very professional)...to this disorganized mess. I have never had such problems getting my medications...the staff constantly telling me they will get something done only to find out they did nothing and left no communication to other staff members about getting it done...and apparently they are either to lazy to leave computer annotations of what has transpired or are unable to. I need to take medications every day due to a chronic illness and I haven't taken meds for a week because they keep screwing up my orders (and repeatedly told me they called my doctor for refill when they hadn't). They are playing with my life at this point and I am so angry I want to stand outside CVS to let everyone know how pathetic a business they are. Please, please, if you have a choice, go somewhere else! They DO NOT DESERVE your business! If I get my meds tomorrow, the first thing I will do after that is find another pharmacy.

CVS shortage of medication

I picked up my hydrocodone prescription on April 13, 2012. I never count the pills- didn't think I had to. But when I did count them the following Friday- I only had 46 (I get 120 in each refill) I realized I was short 50 (would have used 28 in the week that I already had them). I got shuffled around from one pharmacist to another for 5 days- when the pharmacist just tossed 20 pills at me, turned her back and refused to discuss my situation any further. I was so humiliated I ended up leaving the store in tears. I can't believe that CVS would support treating customers like this. I have been getting my medications (I am on many meds for a chronic health condition) for over 8 years and even if I was wrong about my pills (I'm not)- they should treat me like a valued customer, not an irritant to be kicked to the curb, or wiped off the bottom of their shoe. And I'm still short 30 pills.

CVS is the worst. I'm in Cedar Hill, Tx and they really do not like white people. I've never in my life spent money in a store and been spoken to so unprofessionally. The "ah-rite" and stupid ghetto talk has helped me find a new pharmacy, one that speaks clear English.

CVS misinformation

I went to the CVS store with several prescriptions to be filled. When I returned an hour or so later, I was told that a particular drug that I have taking for almost two years now required an authorization from my doctor. This was never required before. I was given what I was told was a form for my MD to sign, took it to the MD the next day, he signed it and I brought it back to the CVS Pharmacy. The same pharmacist, Andrew Norris, who gave me the form to be signed the day before, told me that it was the wrong form and I needed to have my insurer fax my MD and the MD would fax the authorization to the insurer and the insurer would fax the authorization to the pharmacy. Not the information I was given the day before. This is not the first time that Mr. Norris has been rude and difficult to deal with. He seems to be a very moody and mercurial person. I have dealt with CVS all over the country for years and this is the worst service that I have ever received. If I do not receive an apology from CVS, I will be taking my business to Rite Aid.

... and don't be surprised when Rite Aid will need to have your MD contact the insurance and submit a Prior Authorization before they can get a paid claim either... It's your insurance that has the problem- not the pharmacy.

CVS stolen picture cd disc

On the 1/11/2011, I went in the CVS drug store in Troy. N.Y. 12180. Picturs CD: Tour of Time Square. They took a cd disc that i gave to them at the customers counter for developing pictures. The attending cashier name tag read Sharon. She then gave them to a male cashier. Whom did the developing of the photo’s. He then gave me the pictures i paid for them. When i tried to get pictures off of the cd disc they where all upside down. I then returned them to the CVS Store. Gave the CD back to him, told him that the cd was not printed right, he printed another one.

I took it back to the Library and and the computer showed cvs photos, but there was not any photo showing in the file of the cvs disc. (Blank). I then went back at the CVS and Sharon took the complaint then asked me if i wanted my money back? I told her no.I would like my cd photo as i paid for. She than developed the me another cd. I asked her to give me back the first CD that i gave him that was upside down.

She asked him what did he do with it and he said that he did not no he looked into the garbage can held it up at me and said again i don’t no. Then left. There was also a picture with the multiple print that he also took. This is the 2nd time this have happened when i give them a disposable camera to Develope.

Putting opened candy back. Instead of trashing it. The manager Das and the shift manager Chris, did not feel it was WRONG! THAT WAS REALLY CRAZY and NASTY! The shift manager was so dam disrespectful, he said I should have paid him $5 dollars for putting the opened candy back on the sheft. Yes, on the shelf not in the trash. The store was dirty the peolpe was rudeand I'll never shop the again.

CVS gave me the wrong prescription

I went to CVS at 18252 Heritage HWY Denmark S.C 29042 on November 2 2011, to pick up my prescription and was giving the wrong prescription in the wrong box. The name of the prescription that was to be in the box is, Derma-Smoothe/FS Scalp Oil and there put a medicine for the face in the box. On the front of the box said apply to face twice daily and it is to be to the scalp twice a week. They but a difference prescription which is for the face call Verdeso. When I went back and get the right prescription, they would not change the direction on the front of the box .

This person said no one should be using your prescription which is right, but you never no who would pick it up and use it, things happen . This person was just working there for today, and I fell if they cannot do there job right they do not need to be working there. This is the first time I had a problem with cvs, everyone that work there before have been very nice.

CVS mistreatment by manager

I started working for CVS not too long ago and since day one it's been hell.

On the first couple of days I assumed the manager's 'attitude' to be because I was new. (As in his inerrant frustration was because I was just learning things, and hadn't quite gotten the hang of some procedures.)
There were several occasions where this continued, however.

I told some of my family/neighbors what was going on, and each said that he should be reported for it, but, I didn't quite see the use for it, until recently, when he humiliated me in front of customers, and one actually asked me "Does he always treat you so harshly, you poor thing?" -- I should not have to have customers calling me a "poor thing" because the manager is that awful.

Things he does include:
When I forget a procedure, and wish to do it according to the CVS codes, I ask him (Seeing as it is faster to ask him rather than go to the back of the store, find the code book, find the situation, and hope to find an answer) ... When he gives me a reply on how to do things, one he stands very very close to me and traps me next to my register, two he explains in a harsh tone of voice "I have told you over and over again how to do this, why can you not remember?" and on top of that he watches the next few transactions I do still standing very close to me.

When a customer has a complaint and upsets him, he takes it out on his employees by treating them like dirt. (He gets an attitude, gets terse with them and other customers, etc)

Always when a customer has a question regarding someone he talks down to them like they don't understand. We recently had an elderly lady leave the store crying because he "taught" her how to use the photo machine.

Today while doing a money gram the customer chose to purchase products and receive cash back for those, then do the gram, rather than going to the nearest ATM a mile or so down the road. The manager asked him in a condescending voice, "Are you aware of the ATM at the gas station nearby? Why don't you use that instead of doing this, then?" When the customer said he'd rather just get cash back here, and purchase his products. The manager stood so close to me--again--trapping me while he did the transaction. I called him to the front merely because my cash drawer was low on funds, I did not actually need him for the money gram, yet he did it anyway and explained to me how to do it. ( At this point in time I know how, and can do it well and according to procedure.) ... This was the customer that asked me if he always treated me so poorly.

Today also, I had a customer read off the numbers of a receipt for a return... Having slight numerical dyslexia, I ask the customers to read it to me rather than entering it in and getting it denied several times. Saves both parties time, and frustration, and so far no customer has complained about this approach. He came up behind the register--again-- and entered the number in himself, and told me I need to enter the number on my own, and I needed to "Keep pace, for this is a fast paced store" ...

He often approaches me with a very angry attitude, often walking quickly and aggressively. I cannot recall a time where he's ever approached me in a friendly manner save for the day I went in for the interview.

I should not have to feel sick about going into work on the days he's there. I love my job, and I wish to keep it. I am a good worker and that shows when he is not there, it's just that he frightens me so badly...

CVS sale items are always out of stock

I have pretty much stopped shopping at cvs since sale items are always out of stock. Thought I would try again for folgers coffee and of course, out of stock. I know better and always go into store no later than monday. Tried to get beer, out of stock, coke, out of stock, coffee, out of stock. Mgr even said he never even sees a coke rep. What is wrong with this company? I will now have to make yet another trip to your store on wed and hopefully will get coffee. They had been giving rain checks out all morning according to clerk. I don’t have high expectations mof getting the coffee on wed this week wither.

CVS ridiculous to wait more than 5 mins for a $5 box of cold medicin

Went to purchase behind the counter decongestant/expectorant (CVS brand Severe Congestion) 3 ppl at the pharmacy could not approve my purchase with driver’s license! I understand the laws regarding pe and all, but I have shopped at this particular Grapevine/Colleyville store for 5+ years and was only purchasing 1 box! After waiting for at least 30 mins for 3 different ppl to try and complete the transaction, I went to WalMart pharmacy!…ridiculous to wait more than 5 mins for a $5 box of cold medicine! This store needs competent, qualified employees in the pharmacy! HORRIBLE!

The store is always half empty. For the past six months a lot of the shelves are just bare.I have tried to buy Maxwell House instant coffee every week for the past three months and it is never in stock. The last time I went, January fourth most of the meat cases and freezers were empty.I was told by a cashier that was because they were preparing for inventory. The customer should not suffer because of inventory.I am surprised this has gone on as long as it has without repercussions.I will find another CVS or for that matter another grocery store to do my shopping. I used to love shopping at CVS.

I entered CVS to purchase a birthday card. I love all CVS greeting cards. I then went to the front of the store to pay for the card. I could see Darlene was busy crushing boxes with her feet. She looked up at me three times. I figured she needed to finish what she was doing, so I waited patiently. Darlene looked up a fourth time and waited on someone else who had come in after. I then went to the pharmacy at the rear of the store. The pharmacist then waited on me without my saying a word. I did go ahead and I told the pharmacist of Darlene and she ignored me.

CVS has a fabulous reputation and associates like Darlene, they make for bad business. I got Darlene's name from the pharmacist.

Yes we have other pharmacies which close @ 5:00 p.m. or are not open on weekends. Most are located in grocery stores or in Walmart or Zellers. Sarnia is somewhat behind the times. This is a community which still rolls up the sidewalks, so to speak. Aside from that my husband is a diabetic and a 24 hour pharmacy is convenient for his medical purposes. Suffice it to say, I am just a consumer who is tired of being bent over without an invitation. Thanks

Don't feel badly. We use Shopper's Drug Mart and the average wait time is 25 minutes. Our pharmacy is also a methadone dispense location. The pharmacist's are always busy and run off their feet. While we the consumer, paying a dispensing fee of $11.99 per prescription wait and wait, those on methadone simply walk up to the counter and are immediately served! But perhaps, Shopper's Drug Mart is salivating in the belief we are actually shopping in their store for 25 minutes!

CVS slow service

wonder why you have to wait so long for prescriptions to be filled ----- the managers get bonuses for cutting cost - so they work short handed and hire techs that are not certified to work in the pharmacy. why wont cvs hire enough help and hire techs that go to school and pass certification test. oh, and they get credits off corporate taxes for hiring those on welfare and food stamps. so cvs puts you and me at risk to prop up their corporate balance sheet. over work pharmacy staff by under staffing, hires unqualified employees namely those on federal assistance that cannt spell medicine

It makes it really frustrating when they cut hours because that means more work for fewer employees. Corporate is in charge of making these deals with management.

CVS pricing of insulin

For the past year I have purchased for my son's Pug Dog, a bottle of Humilin 70/30 insulin because she is diabetic. Since they no longer make pet insulin we had to start purchasing at a Pharmacy. After purchasing nine bottles, I accidently found out that Walmart is selling the same product for $25.00. We paid as high as $70 for insulin. In going back to the Pharmacy with this information, the District Manager of the particular CVS would not match or make any restitution on the previous nine bottles we had purchased. Roughly we over paid some $300 and I asked for reimbursement on all or a portion having all of our receipts.
The Manager flat out refused and I will no longer deal with CVS period.

CVS wrong pictures developed at cvs pharmacy

On friday, sept.8, 2011, right after school, I brought a disposal camera to cvs at 540 west main street, meriden connecticut to be developed. I had just completed the roll of my class for a presentation for parent’s night. It was the only camera I had. I went to pick up the film the next day.
I was surprised to see someone’s vacation pictures. So not only did I have the wrong pictures but someone else did too.

According to the personel at cvs, I must have had a second camera and brought in the wrong one. They looked on the computer and my students’ pictures were not even there. Someone erred! The personel stated “it was a mystery”. They took a look at the security camera and said I was the only one to bring in pictures that evening. They kept repeating that I must have had a second camera.

Not only was I humiliated in front of other customers but my presentation for parent’s night is ruined not only for me but for my students and their parents. Cvs needs to train their employees better in customer relations.

CVS refused to honor my coupons

I took coupons to my local CVS store and tried to purchase the items from the coupons. The cashier tells me that I can not use all the coupons that I had. The cashier then tells me that the register said that I had reached my coupon limit for the items I was trying to purchase. I took my coupons home and looked up the CVS coupon policy and it states under their multiple coupon section “CVS/pharmacy accepts ONE third-party manufacturer coupon AND applicable CVS/pharmacy coupon(s) for the purcahse of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.”

I printed off this policy and returned to the CVS and proceeded to show them their own policy when they still refused to honor my coupons. I was told that they didn’t know where I got the print out and that as long as the computer was telling them that I ahd reached my coupon limit on the items I was trying to purchase they could not accept them.

What is the point of having such things in your policies if even when presented in black and white with the printed policy you still aren’t allowed to use your coupons? I believe that if your policy says you will accept them then your empolyees should honor that. I am very unsatisfied with this local CVS pharmacy and plan not to return. I am a mother of two small children and need to save money where I can. That is why I coupon.

But when you are denied the use of the ones you have for no valid reason other than the cashier is too lazy to push a few buttons to enter the coupon manually. That is what I believe they should have done instead of in not so many words that I had fabricted the printed out copy of their policy.

I'm confused, coupon maniac. Were you trying to use multiple coupons for one item, or was each coupon for a separate item? If the latter is the case, and you just had too many, then the cashier could have done a second transaction, to get the rest of your purchases.

I agree with you 100%. I just got fired and charged $120 because of taking too many coupons. There's a key on the register that says "coupon-not present" and then you key in the amount of money the coupon is for. Whenever someone reached their coupon limit, I would just hit that button. Loss prevention came in and interrogated me. Now I'm a stripper.

Wow, how ignorant of you. You know that putting coupons in manually will hurt the cashier. Doing so will decrease that persons % in coupon scan rate which the managers DO notice and they post the reports for everyone to see. Have low % rates and you can get fired.
Why the hell should that employee get fired just because you want to save 20 cents and don't understand the coupon policies? How about you get a job at a place like CVS and experience it on your own? It's a shame they have to deal with such people like you...

CVS very big price gouging at cvs pharmacy

I always use cvs pharmacy but im not so sure I will be anymore. I needed a prescription zargin oph gel, when I went to pick it up she said it was cash price 203.97 insurance price was 199.67. I cant afford that and in baytown there is a pharmacist that will help you find it cheaper. I called around to six different pharmacys and all of them said their cash price for the same medication was 175.77 . That to me is a big price different. Even walmart beat ur price.

I usually get my prescription of valium filled there also but I also noticed last year I have to count my pills right then and there or other wise im shorted about severn pills. No telling how long he had been shorting me. It happened more than once with the same pharmacist.

CVS non approval of check

My wallet has been mis-placed between an ambulance ride and a visit to the Emergency Room. While I am trying to get the ambulance drivers and tthe ER staff to find my wallet, I am having to rely on my checking account and picture ID. However, TeleCheck is arbitarily declining the checks because I don't use them much. It is a paperless world.
Stop arbitarily declining my checks without at least looking at my checking account balance. Do some actual work for your processing fee!

Telecheck has a set system in place that declines checks if the system suspects any type of fraud or in your case you do not have a consistent pattern of usage at a particular store, which again amounts to basically the same as when your credit card suddenly gets frozen because of unusual charges.

It might suck right now because you don't need it, but if it was declining checks being written by someone else without your knowledge using your account number, I doubt you would be complaining about it.

You can't have it both ways...

CVS horrible service

I had a kidney transplant and therefore take 2 anti-rejection medications. My insurance, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, required me to order both of these medications through CVS Caremark instead of my local pharmacy. I can't stress how crucial to my health both medications are. With that said, this past week will be the THIRD time CVS has not gotten my medication to me in time. I had called two times during the previous week to confirm I would receive the delivery by Friday March 16th. Friday came and went, I never received my medication. I spent a good portion of Saturday March 17th on the phone with the answering service, who was extremely rude and no help at all. There was ‘nothing they could due and my shipment wasn’t due out until Tuesday March 20th so I’d have to wait to take it’ – really? Wait to take my anti-rejection medication that stops my body from rejecting that extremely important organ I was given. And my shipment wasn’t due until Tuesday March 20th now even though I was told both times that I called to confirm I would in fact have it on Friday March 16th. I absolutely hate dealing with this company. The only person that was sympathetic and understood the need was the on call pharmacist; thanks to him I was able to get my medication at a CVS pharmacy. The other past two times they screwed up my shipment, I then too had to scramble to find a pharmacy that would actually have this specialty medication in stock. This is their jobs and they have people’s health and lives in their hands, I can not understand how they are not more responsible. I am doing everything in my power to go through another company for my medications.

CVS rude employees - horrible customer service

I have been using this pharmacy for almost 4 years now and have not had issues until the last 8-9 months. The staff, usually smiliing and friendly, has become sullen and downright rude to both me and my husband when he has been there. Courtney acts as if I am interruption to her day and always has the most foul look on her face. Earlier this week while waiting on a prescription to be filled her cell phone rang blaring a very nasty song. I would hope CVS would not want to be represented this way. Today, I called to get a prescription filled and the pharmacist, Jerry, actually hung up on me when I told him I was going to have my prescriptions transferred to another store! This was after he had no interest helping me find an answer to a prescription question I had. I am not a difficult person, believe me, but I do think patrons of a store should be treated with kindness. Shame on those employees. I spend a lot of money in the store, more than the pharmacy, and it is unfortunate the store will lose my business because of the pharmacy personel. I will go next door to Walgreens ~~ they were extremely welcoming and had smiles on their faces the moment I walked through the door.

In Leonia CVS they must require employees to greet costumers as they walk into the store. Apparently they must hate that they are forced to do this because they shout it out to you in an angry fashion. When I asked today to a clerk to not shout out to me from a distance (about 6 yards) he replied, "this is a private business, you don't have to come in if you don't like the way we do things." I told him not to greet me anymore and told me that if i did not leave the store immediately that he would call the police.

CVS very unprofessional pharmacist

The pharmacist, Bill, is the most unprofessional person I have ever came in contact with! He curses constantly and acts worse than a child, throwing and slamming things! My entire family fills prescriptions here and we are all going to transfer to a different pharmacy where we won't be treated like we are a bother to the staff! I will make sure I let anyone I talk to know how unprofessional this store is! He should be thankful to be working in this town that has lost thousands of jobs in the last couple years, this man really hates his job and as long as he is working for CVS they will continue to lose customers!

CVS fired or take out of system with no reason

hi, my complaint is about the way i have been treated at a cvs where i work,
last year i got pregnant and i was told for my doctor to take some days off because i was at risk of have an abortion
i talked to my manager and he said he understand my situation and he have not problem at all, after this and showing him the
paper work from my doctor i went back to my days of rest which did not help.. i lost my baby, , , i needed treatment because in the hospital where i went to did not do a good procedure to remove everything from the inside of my body.. i talked to my manager again and went to dominican republic for about 2 weeks, i had 3 month pregnant already when i lost my baby...
when i came back to the united states and ready to work my big surprise is that my manager took me out of the system.. i have talked to him, , to the cvs human resourse departmen, , they told me they would put me back in the system and told me to go back to work again...
So i returned to work, for the last 3 days... today i called to know my schedule for tomorrow and my other surprise is that i m not in the system yet and they wont allow me to go back to work...
SO, WHAT ABOUT THE 3 DAYS I WORKED ALREADY. I AM NOT ELEGAL IN THIS COUNTRY, , I HAVE ALL MY DOCUMENT AND THEY JUST STOLE MY TIME WITHOUT PAYMENT... I NEED MY WORK BACK, , THEY ARE NOT SUPOSSED TO FIRED ME AFTER 3 YEARS OF WORKING WITH CVS, , AND AFTER ASKING SOME DAYS OFF BECAUSE I WAS PREGNANT...

I sympathize with you. It doesn't make sense why the manager would do that to you. As for CVS trying to re-enter you into the system, they are notoriously slow at doing a lot of things. It also doesn't make sense that they would let you work for 3 days when you were not in the system and then tell you that fact and that you could not work. They seemed to have no problem with you working for those 3 days while not in the system, so it makes me wonder why they changed their mind. The way CVS handles many things just boggles my mind.

On February 1, 2010, I went to my local CVS to look around for some makeup. I walk in and see the lady at the cash register as usual and gave her a smile and said hello. She said hello back in a bad attitude so I was like okay. I continue down the aisle. I found some makeup that I wanted to buy so I put them in my pocket because I was on the phone. I can't hold my phone and the makeup and look for more at the same time. Somehow every time I turn around she's right there staring at me. I thought maybe she was look for something. I make my way down another aisle and she yelled out do you need any help, so I said no thanks. She left and I was relieved she was off my back, but 5 minutes later she stares at me again. I felt like I was followed. I felt like she thinks I was stealing stuff. It made me so uncomfortable that I wanted to put back the stuff and leave. The person I was talking to said just ignore and buy it. So I went to pay. As she was ringing the products up, she ask me do you have anything else in your front pocket - I was wearing a hoodie. I was shocked at her comment. I said no because I didn't want any conflict. I was embarrassed because the manager was right there also. Maybe I was somewhat to blame because I put it in my pocket but she still didn't have to make that comment in that nasty attitude. Every time I come in there I see her so I thought she knew I'm not that kind of a person. I have been a customer there for 16 years and after this I'm not going in that CVS anymore.

I shop at the CVS PHARMACY a lot and i enjoy going into the store because they have a variety of everything you need! There is one problem! This one particular cashier! Seems as if everytime i go to her checkout she has this attitude like she doesn't want to be bothered or ignores you when you approach the counter! She pretends like she don't see you! and at the time of my wait she was in the photo department with the night manager i guess! helping him! This happened one other time when i was in the store and she was taking her time washing her hands and the store management started to ring me up! She acts as if she don't care whether or not you check out or not! Her attitude is terrible! There were all these signs at the register that said "ring bell" and they are standing right there ignoring the customers! The prices in the store are high and customers deserve the best customer service! The cashier never wears a name tag but her cashier number is 0990836 at register #1 and the TRN# is 7488 and the STR # is 2082 whatever that is! I think this problem should be addressed to help their BUSINESS! If a person is not happy with their job! they don't need to take it out on the customer. Thank You.

I agree with whythelongfaces's rebuttal against the waiting complaint. But on the wrong prescription thing, it actually is possible. Two cases in point:

1. At the store I work at, the pharmacist accidentally put someone else's medication into the wrong bag, yet blamed it on a pharm tech at the pick-up station (they never told pharm techs pick-up to re-verify that the right prescription was in the right bag, but after that incident they started to tell them to do so).

2. On the news a few days ago was a story about how a CVS in New Jersey gave 50 families Tamoxifen (a breast cancer drug) instead of Sodium Fluoride (in chewable tablet form) for about 2 months.

Whether it was a pure accident like Case 1 or a suspiciously pre-meditated diabolical act like Case 2, the point is that mistakes such as the aforementioned can and do happen from time to time.

I don't suppose it crossed your mind that she was busy that nigh. At night there is a skeleton crew working nd lots of work to do. If you go earler in the day, go to another cashier. What a waste of space this is.

Its really common for thieves to 'pretend' they're on the phone to try to blend in and discourage you from coming up to them and talking to them. Combine that with putting product in your pockets and I would have been all over you too. I'm sorry that you had to go through that when you weren't really stealing, but you have to be more careful about your behavior. Use a shopping basket or cart next time. You can hold a phone and a basket/cart no problem.. just set it down or let go to grab what you want to buy.

I agree with Dotnik 100%. What else would someone think you are doing if you stuff makeup into your pocket?

This was absolutely your fault for concealing store merchandise. If you did this at my store I would have immediately called the police and had them deal with it. You also shouldn't be on a phone in a store, it is rude and obnoxious to the other customers as well as the staff.

CVS refused to take a prescription

CVS pharmacy at 15333 Culver Blvd, Irvine, California refused to take a prescription from a doctor on the basis that there is only one person working. They asked the doctor to call in a couple of hours.

Is this how a pharmacy should work? Doctors are prescribing medicines, not any amusement thing which can wait. Feel sorry for the patient because the doctor will not have time to call back. The doctor was prescribing an antibiotic. That means the patient was sick.

This is unacceptable! If they cannot handle the work load, they should either hire more people or close their doors.

Again the name calling! Does it make you feel good if you call people thick and idiot? Can you not prove your point in a civilized way? By the way I am in the legal field and will never be able to work in a pharmacy. We service our clients without any complaints and I guess, I am applying our professional behaviour across the board.

Of course you are going to defend your profession! But just calling names is not going to make things right. Inefficiency should be stopped.
