Citibank Costco card

I got a Costco citi card and when my payment information was entered a number was missing, I called to speak with a customer service agent and I was told that my information was incorrect I gave him the correct payment information he told me that there should be no problem.the payment went through and I was told that everything was ok. I then get a letter saying my account was closed!
I called to speak with someone and I was told that I was being transferred they then re applied for my account. It was denied and I now have a hard inquiry on my credit report. This is very unacceptable.
I have several credit cards and I have never experienced such a archaic system that citi uses
My payment account should be verified before any of this ever transpired.
I would like to make a formal complaint about this disservice and treatment.

Citibank Closed all my 3 citi account for no reason, my account always been good status.

This is ridiculous, i've been with citi over 20 years and have 700+ fico scored, always paid on-time and pay-in-full, i have total around 60k credit with 3 cards combine, suddenly today i received a 3 letters saying all my account has been closed and don't give reason, have to write letter to the PO box address. This is so F up, what's going on? Anyone know what's going on? This is bad and not fair to consumer who has done nothing wrong and good credit. Can someone give me an answer? All my reward points cannot redeemed too once it's closed according to the stupid rude customer service.

Citibank Promotion

I opened an account online on 6/2/21 to receive a promotion and cancelled it the same day due to misinformation. I want to go to a branch and open a new account and receive the new promotion being offered. I have been told that I might have to wait 180 days to become a new client but even this information is ambiguous. I would like someone to contact me and hopefully allow me to go into my local branch and set up a new account thereby receiving the new promotion. I was given erroneous information at the time. I am also a longtime stockholder of C.

Citibank Investigation department

I don't think that your dispute department did a good job on an issue I have with Pay Pal LASHANDRFRE [protected]) . I filed a dispute when I didn't receive the merchandise on about 06/04/2021. about three weeks or four weeks went and I received a notice that I'm responsible for the 109.00 dollar bill. I Checked and can't understand how I'm responsible when I found out the the site is a scam/fraudulent. How can your investigators over look this information..

Citibank Keep closing my account after resolving the issue and telling me its fine

I am HIGHLY UPSET after going through heck and back with Citi Bank Executive office for the past 4 months. In March of 2021 I opened an account with Citi Bank in New York with no issues. A month later I get a letter in the mail stating that the account will be close due to something they found on Chex Systems. "Ok fine". So I find out what the issues was as an account was opened in my name (fraudulent) account opened. I contact that bank and got that taken care of and reporting it back to Citi. Citi in turn still closed my account BUT sent me a letter stating that they found me not responsable as the bank that had the account opened and sent me a letter saying they found me truthful and saying that see that I was telling the truth. So I got in contact with Citi Bank Executive Office and went through at least 3 officers over the pass 4 months till now figuring out why keep getting a account opened then close that same day after my check system is clean and I was told by the EF if it is clean I should have no problem opening an account. Each time I open an account over the phone with a banker, by the time I get a account number in the mail, I'm told the account is closed due to what happen with the 1st account even though Citi EF TOLD ME IT WONT AFFECT A NEW ACCOUNT BEING OPENED. I feel I am being treat VERY UNFAIRLY as I was a victim of fraud and Citi Bank ever knows it yet they keep telling me from the EF everything is cleared and go ahead and open the account. Then all to be told the account si close once I get the New account package in the mail. This is very upsetting and a waste of my time that I spent trying to be help. I am vey angry and would like to speak to someone who is in a higher position to try to resolve this instead some jsut a person who tells me in the Excecutive office they will invesigate and get back to me in 15 days.

Desired outcome: BE ABLE TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT AND IT NOT CLOSING WHEN i GET THE ACCOUNT IN THE MAIL.

Citibank Refund of wire transfer

It's been 6 weeks since Citibank mucked up a wire transfer for a VERY large sum of money. It was cancelled within 30 minutes. They have told me they money is with the receiving bank, Its not. This was verfied several times. I have been told I have to buy the transfer back. (It never left Citibank). I have been told its with Foreign Asset Control. I have been told it was posted to the general ledger. as well as 2 dozen unbelievable excuses, and still they can't find my money. I have spoken with countless people who said they would call me back, and they never do. I have been told it's been escalated 3 times now. that it's being worked on and it never seems to get resolved. I have been on hold longer than I care to think about just today, it's been over 2 hours. This is an accumulation of 5 different phone calls to Citibank requesting to speak with a supervisor to request a Forensic analysis of my account from 5/24/21 to current day. I have begged, pleaded and done everything imaginable to get this resolved and it falls on deaf ears every time. SMH! This wire is for over $72, 000 and it's affecting my bottom line. I can't pay my vendors because CITI is holding my money, so guess what, they won't work with me. 6 weeks is MORE than enough time to resolve this issue. The problem as I see it is the folks in the wire department aren't communicating with each other. It's making me sick. Everyday my BP is elevated because I face a new challenge and a different explanation from Citibank wire dept. I get different answers everytime I call.

I called a USA phone to resolve a password issue.

Was ask for a lot of personal information credit card info, etc . Then wanted me to sign up for $ 19.99 monthly charge. So I would receive a number to fix my password problem

Citibank Customer Service and Rewards Points

I recently redeemed my Rewards Points. I had the option of receiving a Gift Card sent to my home or being emailed an electronic gift card that had to be printed out. I chose to have a Gift Card sent to my home. Well, they emailed me an eCard . I called their customer service and a female with a very thick Indian accent and rapidly speaking so as to make the conversation almost unintelligible. I tried to explain that I did not want an eCard that I wanted a Gift Card sent to my home. Her attitude was very cavalier and she basically said "too bad" there's nothing I can do about it. I distinctly remember choosing the option to have a gift card sent to me and asked why did the system default to sending me an eCard. She sarcastically said she didn't know as she was not there. I finally hung up after telling her that her customer service was terrible and thanked her. This instance has just reminded me and reinforced the reason why I use Citibank less.

Citibank Sears/Citi card with Sears Home Protection

Purchased Sears home protection plan on Citi card. I made monthly payments and then an appliance needed repair and they could not repair it (this was a four month period) Calls to home protection brought no results (hours on hold-documented-to speak to Mohammed who can't speak English)
Product was to be replaced, they did not replace it, I bought one on the Citi card and expect Sears to Pay for it as was agreed in my protection plan.

I have all documents, letters, notarized entries and phone logs to go to court.

Your idiots in South Dakota and Idaho are useless. They lie, do not identify themselves and do NOT deliver on promises made. Speak to Nicole and Cole in Idaho, they are the same person who lies.

You need to respond to [protected]@aol.com with Name and Number to speak with me.

Desired outcome: Sears needs to pay Citi for the product I had to buy since they would not.

Citibank Excess charges charged on my card

Dear Sir

This has reference to my credit card no. -[protected] which had been issued in my name in 2009 .

As you are aware that due to the global pandemic of COVID -19 everyone is suffering from the financial crisis and unable to arrange the funds to pay off liabilities specially who have lost their jobs and non- running of businesses from the last one year.

I am using the card since 2009 and was paying the dues on time but as I have come to know by seeing all the invoices raised towards my credit card that lot of charges and other penalties charged on my card which is bother able .
I have checked all the invoices and found that the late fee overlimit use and other charges charged on the card and I was using paying all the outstanding charged on the invoices/card.
I was busy with my work and hadn't seen the same . Now a days due to the pandemic situation I have got time and also getting calls from the collection department and have come to know that I have still the outstanding of Rs. 104950.23 as showing in the latest invoice of march month .
Really shocked to see the invoices detail and found lot of penalties charged on my card. I am paying the dues every month except moratorium/pandemic period and for that period also lot of interest / finance charge charged on the card and still the outstanding stands as Rs. 1, 04, 950.23
Lots of entries are there just like this . you can check your records . I am paying paying but still the amount stands Rs. 1, 04950.23 as on 05.03.2021

Its heart breaking to see the records/detail of invoices, the amount used and the amount/penalties / finance charges charged I am paying but the amount still stands like before when I have made payments in lakhs not used card since last year and made payments sometimes minimum due and sometimes bulk amount .
Reason of delay in payments in current status due to the lack of money . I lost my job . In pandemic unable to find the another job . Doing small business from home but due to the pandemic no income from that work also.
As you are aware that due to the pandemic situation globally everybody is suffering from the lack of money . Lots of people lost their jobs and also the business activities are too low . Also I am facing the same and living in hard situation . No job, No earnings at my work place . Facing a very had time .
You can see the invoices as I have not used my card for any purchase since last year but the amount still stand as high amount . All the amount has been charged as finance charge and other charges and become a big outstanding amount . which is effecting my CIBIL .
As I receiving the calls from collection department and getting harassment calls from them to pay off the liabilities . but right now I am unable to pay in bulk amount . couple of times I have sent mail to the customer care to wave off the charges charged on my card so that I can get the minimum amount to pay off the liabilities . I also requested after waiving off the charges to settle my card balance outstanding and convert into easy flexible EMIs so that I can pay in installment but no satisfactory response I got from the concerned departments .
I sent the request mail on customer care and Gravuience department and they reversed Rs. 3500/- and 1300/- only after my request and refused to reverse the charges and also for settlement.
Its my humble request to look in to the matter and do the needful and credit the amount in my card account by waving the charges and interest amount which has been charged on my card as late fee, finance charge extra and for the balance amount you are requested to settle my account for that and covert into easy flexible emis . I shall be very grateful to you.

Citibank Citibike

A person was on a citibike and left it in front of my house and walked away. I strongly feel that if people do not return the bike a $100 charge should be place on there charge card. Something needs to be done ASAP. I live in a residential area and pay taxes.

Citibank Credit Card

I had fraudulent charges on the account from zip car rental for $76, $150, $70 and $1, 041 on May 12, 2021. They credited by account for all amounts except of $1, 041. My old credit card did show the $1, 041 as a credit, but on my replacement card it showed up as a debit again! The person I talk to said no they credited my account for this on the account. I do not see this at all - so now I am out $1, 041. I paid my account off since I am aggravated for how many times I have called and no one could straighten this out.

Desired outcome: Reimbursement for $1,041.

Citibank Manager had no knowledge with my situation, my cd for my son

Bad experience with my Citibank need help with 1501vkings highway Brooklyn NY 11229 managers had no knowledge with my situation, my cd for my son Chris cant be liquidated until now no one can help-3581 my debit, need someone with experience to solve my case [protected]
we open a cd almost 25 years ago for my son when he was a minor about 5 years old with court money he wan from a low suit
I was the guardian as his father
now we need to liquidate the cd
Citibank does not keep any document for more than 5 years (that what we been told)
the manager needs me to get that court order they lost to release the cd money
they said if you can't get the court document to forget the many, this is the Citibank policy
we will send you a letter thank you for the money

or take the Citibank to court and spend most of that money on the lawyers ha ha ha

Citibank I have a comerical account with Citi Bank with no response despite numerous calls, emails, faxes and emails.

Citi Bank closed thier Santa Rosa, CA. branch in early 2021/late 2020, leaving no branches in all of Sonoma Co. They move the account to San Rafael, Marin Co., Ca. Auditor are attempting to verify the account and the San Rafael branch does no respond to calls, emails, faxes and the Corporate Office of Citi has been equally ineffective in trying to get hold of the San Rafael office, does not return calls, email, etc. All we need done is to sing a single page verifying account status, which we are not able to do as it must come direct from Bank to auditors, worse service with any financial institution I have ever experienced.

Desired outcome: verify business account for CCRRG.

Citibank Customer service and dispute of a charge

Currently waiting for Citibank to make a refund of $322.92 from an online Home-depot purchase in April. Basically I purchased an item on line, when it arrived it was the wrong color. Called the number provided by Home-depot. Representative arranged for the return via UPS. UPS picked up the item the very next day. In less than two weeks the item was back at their warehouse. The return was not credited to my account. When I contacted HD I was told it my responsibility to open a dispute with the credit card company because they want additional documents regarding the return. You have the UPS tracking numbers, and the merchandise. What else could be needed?

In the meantime I contacted the attorney general office in SD because this is crazy to say the least.

Last call to them requesting my payment via check and will be closing my account. Not worth the hassles.

Citibank Credit card closed - no explanation - no justification

I had two Citi cards, one company and one personal. My personal card I have held for 23 years. Never a late or missed payment/always paid in full. Average monthly bills 4-7000. Excellent credit in 800's. Have a company card with several employees as cardholders. Some excellent credit history. Used my card on Sat morning and went to use it again in afternoon and charge declined. Called Citi and was told account closed. Daughter went to use her company card Sun and found it closed as well. Contacted Citi and was told all card closed and I should look for letters for each cardholder online. As of today I have had no letters posted or received. Contacted Citi CEO Jane Fraser on her email as well as her assistant - no reply but did get a call from a VP on Sun afternoon indicating my emails were received and I would have a reply Monday, received a call Mon afternoon indicating nothing-no explanation other than to say accounts not eligible for reopening. Perfect customers for almost 30 years and this is Citi says thank you. Could not get an answer if this was an algorithm or did a real human make this decision. Nothing raise flags on the account that I can see. This card also was an advantage executive card tied to my AA Executive Platinum account. AA didn't seem interested in Citi action either. Very sad that someone who maintains everything perfectly gets treated this way and more important that a senior executive can't pick up a phone or return an email or answer letters sent by FedEx to their NY head-offices. The right thing is to explain the reason and if based on inaccurate info correct it and reopen the accounts. Not holding my breath. Shame on Citi.
