On the 7th street and hatcher in phoenix, one of the cashiers today at 4:20 phx time was not at all friendly, she first started by making me feel bad for walking up to the counter. I wasn't sure they would be aware I wanted something behind the counter. So I apologized for that, and then she asked me to put my number in. The keypad said nothing about a phone number, it only wanted payment info, so I scanned my card. She proceeded to yell at me about not entering my phone number, telling me how I don't want to save money. I didn't know how this worked, it was uncalled for.

Desired outcome: cashiers to just treat customers nicely. they don't always know what to do
