Cash Crusaders Useless manager. Poor sales

My Wife bought me a Cellphone for my Birthday at Cash Crusaders Newton Park Port Elizabeth for R1900. When I started using it, I realized there is something major wrong with the Battery and the Cellphone freezes. We took it back to Cash Crusaders Newton Park and wanted to swop it for a cheaper cellphone. The idiot Manager came to us and said we cannot swop the [censored] Cellphone for another one and cannot even get your money back. He said they must send it in for them to check what is wrong with the Cellphone. My wife already spend money at Cash Crusaders why must this become our problem. It has been 5 days already still waiting for the Useless idiot Manager to just let us know what's going on. My wife tried calling him several times and every time they say he is very busy he will contact her. But untill now no Luck. If this is how Cash Crusaders is treating a loyal Customer. Then I will never do any Business there.

Desired outcome: I want my wife's money back or a Decent Cellphone

Cash Crusaders Retainer payment kept back to wipe mobile phone on collection after repairs

Yesterday 26 August 2021 I went to collect my husband's mobile Figi Note phone from Cash Crusaders Somerset West their contact number 021 852 1172 The phone was bought from that store and after 7 days of purchase the phone gave problems switched off and would no longer work. On collecting yesterday the from repairs the consultant we purchased the phone from Zane, he opened and switched on the phone walked away from me towards Kelvin his colleague mumbling this is not right looking at the phone and walking towards Kelvin. I approached Zane he said the phone flickering not fixed properly and we both approached the manager Susan, I stated my case that I rather want a refund as the phone came from repairs and still not fixed 100% she said they can refund me. At the cash counter I was asked for the pin number to unlock the phone I recalled my husband's pin number and punched it in and it says wrong pin number I kept trying then phone locks later I called my husband for confirmation of pin and it was the right pin he said that was the problem of the phone I was in that store for over 2hours they needed to wipe the phone for that moment I asked to try again and I tried on many attempts eventually with that pin number I got the phone open and Zane was next to me with excitement Zane tried to reset the phone while busy with the phone I stepped away from Zane and questioned him about a power bank battery then the phone shut close again and I kept trying it tired me out and they claim to retain R250 from the phones payout because they cannot wipe the phone and it will cost them R250 to wipe the phone. This is unacceptable I got home explained to my husband what took place at the store, he said but that's what the phone was doing he switched the phone on and punch in the pin number and it gave him also wrong pin number that's what it was doing all along. I have attempted trying and got the phone open with the pin number I know they have no right to retain a R250 The phone is faulty and they gave me a warranty slip invoice no 746619 for the R250 I took the receipt without reading only to see when I arrived home they stated on their customer can't get password BUT I unlocked it in the shop with the correct password, how can they state that. Thank you in advance. would greatly appreciate your assistance in this matter.

Cash Crusaders Not keeping their promises to customers. You but and what ever happens its on you

I bought a laptop at Cash Crusaders Maponya Mall in January 2021. In April I started complaining about the laptop. And eventually took it back to the store. To my surprise, no records of my complains have been brought or recorded in their books. The sales available to support my complains and the manager Molefe is excluding the warranty period that I have been complaining within. Considering that I have been in guaranteed due to 4 family deaths. I had to buy a charger that I understand as the sales lady told me that the warranty does not cover but not the issue is the laptop is not working. This is really not acceptable, why do I have to spend my money on something that was reported before but no records, worse the sales person is no longer working there to support my story.

Cash Crusaders About the service

My name is vasanthi pillay. I took a loan against a very sentimental ring and was due on the 12 July 2021. At the same day the unrest had started in Durban. The mall was closed. The mall then opened one week later. I sent my son twice has I was in quarantine to check on my ring he said one time it was closed because they were disinfecting the place another time they told him they can't help him because it's on my name. Meanwhile they sold my item when I called yesterday. Really we are in mist of pandemic and unrest. Why do they rush to sell of items instead of calling or sending sms notify giving them a last chance maybe 24 hours. We don't even know when they opened after the unrest we are in panic to go out freely. I feel so let down they could have done better. In Durban people are in a state I wish there is some way I could get my ring back

Cash Crusaders Lenovo thinkpad laptops

My mom bought me a laptop as a gift from your polokwane branch (checkers centre), it was r 4000 and unfortunately she gave it to me a month, this is the second week that I have the laptop on and I haven't yet started using it, after she purchased it was she gave it to me there was a clear indication that the monitor and the keypad are from different laptops. The monitor and case cover are black and the bottom part which is the keyboard is grey, meaning the laptop screen was replaced, then yesterday I started to realise that the hinges are starting to break.

When I tired to return the lady said that they dont exchange or give refunds and that customers come in their stores knowing very well that they sell second hand goods.

Cash crusaders your customer services is very poor, very and dissatisiying.

You rob poor people out of their hard earned money and the value of your products are for brand new items bt they are second hand.

You should get investigated by the authorities and saps

Cash Crusaders iPhone

I bought an iPhone 7 November 2020, they told me the phone was in good condition only to find out that the phone has speaker and battery problem. I had two phones so I was not using the one I bought at cash crusaders on a regular basis, I only realised now that the phone has problems because that's the only phone I use now and now they don't want to help me due to that apparently I bought in that condition. they say I must pay for it to be repaired. The store is at Vaal mall Vanderbijlpark

Cash Crusaders HP, ELITEBOOK 2540P14, INTEL CORE DUO, I7, 2, 13GHZ, 2.00GB, 150GB, HDD/SSD

I have been paying interest of an amount of R303.05, for past year or two now due job loss, as a teacher.
Last month on the 16 June 2021, as it public holiday I missed my payment but managed to pay it on the 18 June 2021 a day later.
As I was in the store, I was told that my laptop was on Sale.

After a small fight with the worker, I was asked to pay R303.05 but they told me since morning they have tried to charge the laptop with no success. I then asked they but I brough my laptop in working condition.

One of the worker asked me to come back the next day, but on the day he told me that he did not manage to test or charge the laptop. I then asked to come the following week but still he told me he never checked it.

Then as the date of payment is coming close, I the went back on the between 12 and 14 July 2021, I was told that the manager was he was on the leave.

Current day 16 July 2021. I went back to check it my laptop was working but the worker started shouting saying he was only helping me and the date was due according to contract.as i also started shouting back.

My Expiry date is: Sat, 17 Jul 202. But I dont feel like paying the interest as I m current not working. Please Help
So all this means worker is fighting because my laptop is not working ……

Cash Crusaders Second hand guitar

I tried returning an item I bought. I returned it 6 days after purchase as I changed my mind on the purchase. They told me I am not allowed to return an item just because I don't want it anymore.
The consumer protection act protects me against this and I'm going to make a fat stink about this all over social media

Cash Crusaders Fridge

Please find attached the slip for the fridge bought at your store Vaal Mall

The first fridge was not working, they send out a man for a quote. I was told the repair will be to expensive and I must choose another fridge, it was sent back and I then bought this one
It worked for +_ 3 weeks. I contacted the store because the food in the freezer was defrosting and there was n noize
They send out someone to repair it at my home, a fan was replaced and still the freezer was not working properly.
This same man was at my home +_ 4 - 5 times and still not working.
The fridge was then collected and send in for repair.
The fridge was returned after 3 of 4 weeks.
Still not freezing and the noize is worse. The backplate on the fridge is damaged and can not fit properly and that makes a loud noize as well.

I asked a company to quote me on the fridge. attached is the quote.
On sending the quote to the store I was ignored for a week. When asked today what is going to happen I was told to bring it in again.

I want answers and I want this to be repaired
I have a warranty for the fridge but time is of the essence
A household can not go without a fridge for weeks on end

I want my money back or for this to be repaired by the company that quoted me.

Cash Crusaders Unethical behaviour, Being charged for cracked screen protected phone and referred to as physically damage and out of warranty

I have had two similar encounter with the managerial staffs. I purchased the phone on the 25-November-2020. Firstly, in March 2021 i returned the phone for repairs as it had stopped charging and the battery power was running low within minutes. When collecting the phone I was issued with an invoice before collecting the phone from the store, which I suspected fraudulent activity and did not paid, as a result i collect my phone under the warranty policy ( managerial staffs took the first original receipt of the first return, when collecting my phone) . Secondly, on the 27 May 2021 I returned the phone for repairs again for the same issue, on the 16 June 2021 I went to collect the phone and was issued an invoice this time doubling the total amount of previous invoice, stating that my phone was physically damage and will not cover the warranty policy. The cracked screen referred to as physically damage would be a cracked screen protector.

Cash Crusaders Skating board

I have purchase a skating board for my 6 year old for hes birthday yesterday the 09/06/2021.
When I opened the plastic covering the skate board the black rough surface started going off and teard off.i brought the skating board back and explain the situation to the manager and employees but management told me there is nothing they can do but to book the skate board in for repairs, which will take approximately 2 to 3 weeks and they dont guarantee if it will be fixed.

Cash Crusaders Service

I wanted to sell my aiwa game console wich I bought for roughthly r800-00 and wen my husband took it to cash crusaders in bethlehem they offered to buy it for only r80-00 wich to me is a rip off and then the employee working at cash crusaders lied and told my husband they sell at only r150-00 and my husband told him he is not telling the truth there is the exact same game console in his store with selling price off r450-00.. I started talking since this morning early using the sell by whatsapp. Now my husband comes home with this bad news. We realy need the money, but it took so long and we're we live in bethlehem all shops closes at 1 so I can't take my item to another place to sell. So this to me means me, my husband and our 2 children don't and won't have money, we wil have no food and it is mother's day today. Nobody seems to care. This to me is bad as we have always supporters cash crusaders.

Cash Crusaders Poor and ineffective efficiency and questionable work ethic

Cash Crusaders Cleary Park are not for the customer! I had a particularly horrendous time at the store on 28 April 2021 following an online buy back application which I'd completed the same day and subsequently advised to go to the above store, which I'd then-indicated as my preferred store. It is without a shadow of a doubt that I now regret this decision. According to the cash loan business, customers who complete an online application stand to enjoy the benefit of a quick, hassle-free and convenient experience as they would only arrive to the designated store to drop off their item(s) and subsequently be handed their cash. To this same effect, a female buyer — whose name I was not given as the staff at this store do not introduce themselves — said the process would merely take 5 minutes as she went ahead to assist me, however, it shockingly and most inconveniently ended up coming to roughly over an hour. This was both unacceptable and disrespectful as she would nonchalantly revert to going into the back office for minutes on end, only caring to give a semblance of an explanation on her return. This occurred several times during our interaction. She attempted to justify this by smearing the professional conduct of the online buyer, with whom I'd exchanged several emails prior to going into the store in respect to my interest of taking up a 30-day cash loan. At the store, another buyer, whose name I understand is Siya, engaged me in brief pockets of small talk during the intermittent breaks of being served by his female colleague, before he was eventually tasked with putting a bubble wrap and an extra layer of cling or pallet wrap around my item, in my presence, per the store's procedure. This, however, did not happen as I had already left the store due to time constraints. After advising Siya of my time challenges and prior to exiting the store, Siya advised that he would send me a picture of my wrapped item. I received the said picture nearly two hours later, further compounding on my lacklustre customer service experience, which was underpinned by the fact that I did not receive a fair deal on my high-end valuable item. To this end, I dissuade other customers from going to this store. On examination of the picture sent to me, it appeared my item did not have the extra cling or pallet wrap that was promised around it. I, hereby, implore the store and its management to put their buyers' conduct under the microscope to ensure improved customer service in the future while I ask for an improved offer on my item.

Cash Crusaders Laptop issue

I came to cash crusaders pretoria station at bosman Street to buy a laptop, but they gave me a notebook instead of a laptop. This notebook I haven't used it because the windows is crashing. The manager refused to change and give me a good laptop, I can't loose my R3000 for nothing.

Cash Crusaders Phuthaditjhaba you guys are the main perpetrators to crime, my Plasma was stolen last year, I found out early in January I went to the store Cash crusaders Maluti crescent, with every document they need and the police officer and they said they will call the person who bought my TV from them since they were delaying until yesterday I went to the store and I had a chat with Cash crusaders Maluti crescent manager he told me that theres nothing he can do, because there's a new owner I must go trace the previous owner, please if there's anyone I can talk to or I'll take this matter to SPEAK OUT.

Cash Crusaders Have a agreement OTOL 10803210011

Hi I had a suspensive security buy agreement by cash crusaders east Lynne in Pretoria south African. The contract expired date was on the 6 April 2021 I had problem I was in hospital at that time was trying to call on 0878979900 but phone dit not work so I send a what's up to branch with no reply today on the 14April 2021 when I got out of hospital I went to pay my extension but with standing there the cashier told me it does not reflex I asked with how I can speak to to explain and that I can please pay my extension. The Manager told me that my item is on the floor and have to buy it back I tried to explain I was in hospital he didn't even listen to me. So I went to the floor to buy it back but the cell phone was not on the floor. I went back to Management and what to know why he can't help me I ask for own number he said he is management. I think really its grace because on the contact it sad that customers have 7 Work Days after expired date . I had not expect to be in hospital and Sundays don't count as a work day so I am still in title to pay my extension. But management don't want to listen or help me as a customer on the phone the is data that is very in mordant and can't be lost . please wat am I to do know Yolandi Brits [protected]

Cash Crusaders Service

I bought a belt sander online paid for it received confirmation email and e-mail to say product is ready for collection I organize a courier service paid for it msgd Cash Crusaders Sunnyside Pretoria then was told they don't have offered me other one when I refused they said they found it tested and it's ready for collection then told me they don't have it and offered me another belt sander with half the wattage I refused and said I need something with same wattage

Desired outcome: Either what I paid for or belt sanddr with equivalent wattage and they must carry cost of the courier services that I paid for but lost due to the issue

Cash Crusaders X90 doogee

Sent my x90 doogee in for repairs and now after 3 weeks they still haven't fixed it and is still awaiting repair parts for the phone. After numerous calls I was then told to wait longer till it can be fixed . So for 3 weeks that have done nothing to my phone and did not even inform me they waiting for parts only when I called them non stop they told me . I'm very disappointed and would either want my phone back or given another one to it's worth as it was a brand new phone from cash crusaders store
