Sonic Drive-In Order not made correct multiple times

I have repeatedly ordered a foot long cheese coney combo for a while now and the sonic in Ruidoso New Mexico has gotten it wrong every time. I asked for mayo on my dog and extra cheese. They usually forget one or the other but today 3/16 they have forgotten both. I haven’t said anything till today. If I’m charged for extra cheese I would hope to have extra cheese. Don know of the is a discourse between order taker and cook but I’m tired of wrong orders. Please help.

Sonic Drive-In Customer Service is the Plumb Line of any Business

I have been a customer of Sonic for many years, it is my favorite fast food restaurant.

The Sonic on East Broadway in Sedalia Mo has the most disrespectful assistant manager(Anthony) I have ever encountered.

The service has continued to be problematic, long waits, and the store is dirty. The last straw is a 20 minute wait for a drink and because I complained about the wait Anthony took it upon himself to berate me in front of his staff. I do not know why this guy is in the position he is but if I owned this franchise he would be gone. Taking large drink orders over the phone and letting your drive in customers wait until your less than adequate staff fills the large order is unacceptable.

If this is tolerated by the owner and the franchise shame on you.

Sonic Drive-In Disappointed AGAIN

I went to the drive through and ordered 4 pulled pork cheeseburger sandwiches. They gave me one. I had to correct the order. They refunded the original $4.38 for the sandwich and corrected my order to 4 sandwiches charging correctly the second time. I waited again for the rest of the sandwiches after having worked a 12 hour shift myself and still needing to drive an hour home. I got home and gave my wife her sandwich. When she opened it she asked me what the sandwich was. I informed her that it was the pulled pork cheeseburger sandwich that she specifically asked for. To which she replied... WHERE IS THE CHEESEBURGER AND THE REST OF THE SANDWICH? Looking at the sandwich I see only pulled pork not even hardly any BBQ or the mayo or even the other items that should be on the sandwich. What I got... Was NOT what I ordered or even what was advertised.

Sonic Drive-In BBQ pulled pork sandwich

I went to Sonic Monday night Feb. 12, 2024 around 8:00 pm, not really knowing what I wanted. I was watching the advertisement on the menu screen and seen the, BBQ PULLED PORK SANDWICH. Looked Awesome! Got back home, took a bite and got a mouth full of, Nothing But BBQ Sauce! I opened the sandwich and there was about, 1 teaspoon full of pulled pork and 1/2 of a bottle of BBQ Sauce. The bread was drenched in sauce and not even enough pulled pork to cover 1 bun.

I'm not a complainer and this is completely new to me, with filing a complaint. But, when you pay nearly $5 for a sandwich and don't get even close to what the advertisement shows. I'm sorry but it went in the trash.

Desired outcome: When you pay $5+ for a sandwich, it should be a sandwich that fills you up and you want to go back for more. GIVE CUSTOMERS WHAT THEY PAY FOR.

Sonic Drive-In Croissant sandwich

I don’t know whose idea it was to remove the croissant breakfast sandwich, but yall need to bring it back. I looked forward to getting that in the morning or for brunch when I missed out on other fast food breakfast, and you guys replaced it with that horrible brioche bun. Why couldn’t you just add it onto the menu instead of replacing it completely? Please bring it back, because it’s the only breakfast item I get there. It was a unique choice in breakfast items. I don’t want basic toast or a damn bun for breakfast!

Sonic Drive-In Sonic App and Inability for Franchises to Reverse Charges for Unavailable ITems

Once again, I ordered unsweetened Sonic tea in the app late in the day and arrived to be told, "Sorry. We're out of tea." First, I do not believe that they are out of tea. I believe that as the end of the work day nears, someone decides not to make tea for a small order. Once, a location was kind enough to tell me so and to ask me to return the next day to get my tea. I live in the Deep South and most people drink sweetened tea. The worst part of my problem? The server usually tells me to go into the app to get the charges reversed. That's like telling me to work more for a mistake that was not mine. Finding the link to ask for my money back (including a $1 tip) is nearly impossible. Please stop the madness.

Claimed loss: $4.28 this time (see receipt) and time to travel to this favorite location

Desired outcome: Please turn off in the app items unavailable items. Reverse charges when you do not have items. Make the app easier to use. To me, the newest version is more complicated than the previous one was.

Sonic Drive-In Comments

I was parked in stall 5 they never answered the button went todrive thru they was 2 standing outside and the cashier was playing on her phone. The drinks was horrible and when I tried to get the girls attention I actually had to yell just so she would open the window cause she was playing on her phone sonic used to be a awesome place to eat but not nomore.they didn't act friendly at all.i called the manager about the drinks she's going to replace them but before I could say anything else she hung up on me.

Sonic Drive-In Drive in customer service

I went to Sonic on 19th Ave and Hatcher area around 12:30pm on Tuesday 12/12/2023, ordered almost $40.00 of food to go, when I placed my order the guy didn’t seem to be listening very well at all and I had to repeat myself a few times to confirm. So once the order came I paid and then checked the food to be sure it was correct before leaving and we were in fact missing some tots, I only had two bags and I looked in both. I called them back and the guy told me they were there with the burgers, I said I looked and didn’t find them, he came out and asked for the bag and felt around on it and looked inside, told me they were there and that he packed them himself. I asked if he was then calling me a liar and he said well he knew they were there and there is nothing he was going to do for me and walked away. His name was with a T like tye or tra or something, short guy dark hair. So I pulled out and left. So so so rude and inconsiderate. This place is being run by a bunch of mouthy punk teenagers. Won’t be going there again and will send this to corporate office as well. Its not that the loss of the tots are a big deal, just hope we were treated is the problem.

Desired outcome: I think the guy could have apologized and just brought me the tots and I’d be on my way. But instead he called me a liar and snooted his nose and walked away

Sonic Drive-In Sonic blast

I ordered a Sonic Blast on the mobile app that said it would be ready at 10:04pm I arrived at 10:06 pm and pulled into stall 14 I had also ordered two drinks and when the guy brought them out to me he informed me that there blast machine was broken in which I could get a shake instead so I got a shake instead and waited 25 mins before clicking the button for the lady to say she wasn’t aware I was waiting on anything. Once I got my milkshake it was water and all the toppings were at the bottom the lady just stands there and doesn’t ask if I needed any napkins nothing she is just looking at me and my milkshake does not even look like a milkshake so I open the top and it’s so watered down it’s spilled all down the side of the cup and she said “That’s why you don’t do that.” This is not how you speak to a paying customer especially one that waited nearly 30 mins and still didn’t get a refund for having to wait and then having to settle for a milkshake that I ended up throwing in the trash.

Sonic Drive-In Pricing of promotional items

Please see app receipt, shows a total charge of $49.73 which is an impossible total for one burger (3.99), 5 onion rings (24.45) and one drink (3.29) at regular price. They claim they cannot combine promo (1.29 onion rings when ordered in app) and happy hour prices. Their happy hour is 2-4, purchase was made at noon. But yet they show the promo being applied to a bogus total of $49.73

Claimed loss: $18.00

Desired outcome: Refund of the $18.00

Sonic Drive-In About sonic on dezavala and how sonic handles complaints and not contact the customer on something big like this

Went to sonic on dezavala got two meals got charged 23.76 a couple of days later on the 11/20/23 I was refunded the meals which I didn’t understand why I never complaint but then there was a charge on my card for 485 and 2.50 it came from the sonic on dezavala I contacted corporate and went to Sonic the manager was suspicious and didn’t help called corporate and a big amount like that and not to get any help from corporate or a call back I had to miss work and my account was overdrafted I have made a police report and I still don’t have my money I will be putting charges on the employee who did this but for Sonic not to handle this with urgency and allowing the employees to still have a chance to do it to another person it’s sad I will hold Sonic responsible for this and believe me I will not stop until Sonic fixes this and fires the employees or employee for this

Desired outcome: Want employees fired and want Sonic to pay back my money back and for missed worked and a apology I won’t stop until this happens

Sonic Drive-In Loud rude person

I went to Sonic at 6523 San Pedro Ave in San Antonio Texas 78216 today (11/17/23) after work (5PM) to pick up dinner for my family. I pressed the button to ask about the 2 for 7 dollars commercial on TV. A man turned on the speaker and grunted. He had been talking to someone then he corrected himself and gave me the welcome speech. He said yes about the 2 for 7 sale then when I tried to order he changed his mind and said that sale is not here. So I was left with no other choice since my family likes Sonic. I told him I want the number 7 coney which according to your menu is a combo coney, fries or tots and a drink. He says is that a combo? So I repeated myself and said I would like the number 7 coney so, he raises his voice and says tots or fries? And I open my mouth to speak but he repeats louder tots or fries and I try again but he is getting louder and louder. I listened to him a few times as he got louder each time, so I told him to forget it and he said fine thank you. Can't give you a name but he was a very rude black man. Last time I went to this Sonic, the cook came out looking for help because the managers were outside smoking and she needed help. She was very angry but justified. Poor girl.

Claimed loss: the loss is we didn't enjoy take out Friday night dinner and some idiot yelled at me when i didn't deserve it.

Desired outcome: i would like to know that someone spoke to this man and no one else will have to deal with such rudeness. An actual true apology would be nice since he was hired by someone in your company. My email address is [protected]@gmail.com.

Sonic Drive-In Harassment and customer service

Upon arriving at my fav place to grab a quick bite we where greeting by a rude worker... We ordered calmly but she complained she couldn't hear us. This isn't the first time I have dealt with this kind of service they are always rude to everyone who comes here they don't respect anyone and they're always take hours just to get you your order to you and when you get it it's cold. They spit in the drink after taking 30 mins to refill it. The person's name was christa the blonde was even ruder... I hate to complain but I've let it slide to many times they can be seen on the inside goofing around that good.

Desired outcome: Retrain them or rehire someone else.....

Sonic Drive-In Management/Customer Service

I had went to the Sonic on First Chapel Creek. I had tried to order from the order box's and was rudely told drive Thru only so I was trying to clarify what drink were included in your 1.99 special and was told by a gentleman "all of them" then he cut me off from my questions. Right after that some lady who claimed to be a manager came out and I had asked my same question whish drinks were included and she also replied all of them and went back in so then my family and I proceed to drive thru to place our order and was quoted 13.96 when I went to window I had asked them why and they said blast not included and I then impatiently asked her if she could honor since they both replied all of them she was very rude hollering at me making threats so when I got out of car since this lady threatened me she decided to throw a large drink at me and my family

Claimed loss: Need to detail inside my xar from soda syrup thrown in it

Desired outcome: She needs to be retrained in customer service and management skills. No matter what no person claiming to be a manager should makes threats or even attempt to fight a customer

Sonic Drive-In A technical issue in the sonic drive in app

On October 21, 2023, I stopped at a Sonic to pick up a drink using my mobile app. The next day I went to make another order on the Sonic Drive-In mobile app, and it said that I was still sitting and waiting for the order that I had picked up on Saturday night. I called the store and asked them to check, they said that the order had been cleared. I called the Sonic customer service phone number, they asked me to sign in and sign out, to delete the app and reload the app, and now their voicemail says that they understand there is a glitch, and they are working on it. That’s been two weeks, and in today’s world, there are enough technical expert that they should be able to solve this problem. When I try to find out someone other than the lowest level of customer service to have a conversation with, I am not given any information. I’ve also emailed them via their contact, and I get an auto. Technical expert that they should be able to solve this problem. I have also emailed them via their contact, and I get a auto mated response. No matter what I type in, I get an automated response. One response I got from all of them was to start using the online ordering service. However, there are no discounts included in that. I also have a gift card in my app worth almost $50, that is sitting there unusable because I cannot get to the app. No one has made an offer to make that right for me either. My daughter was kind enough to let me start using her app, because I go to Sonic often and it was expensive to continue paying full price, and now the same thing is happening in her app.

Claimed loss: Ongoing cost for the orders I placed, and $47 gift card lost.

Desired outcome: Sonic will solve the problem in their app, efficiently, and preferably today. And Sonic will provide me an incentive to trust him again, preferably financial one.

Sonic Drive-In Time spent to order/get food and cold food once received customer service

I came to sonic for dinner 2 weeks ago and it took over an hour to get my food! Multiple times I pushed the button and after 10-15 mins each time I got told it was sitting here sorry we will bring it out to finally a manager coming out and taking my order and remaking it. Today I ordered via mobile app figured that couldn’t get messed up. Nope got here app said after checking in and waiting 10 mins that order was on way out. 20 mins later nothing so I press button meanwhile multiple cars around me are trying to place orders with no one answering the calls from stalls finally 20 mins later I get answered and was told we will bring it out as soon as we can. 15 mins later food brought out. Checked food and it was wrong! Pressed button 15 mins later got answer then 15 mins later got food! SERIOUSLY!

Sonic Drive-In Multiple charges for a single order

I bought ONE drink Friday morning, October 13, 2023. I have TWO transactions pending on my bank account. One dated October 13, 2023 and one future dated October 16. 2023.
This has occurred several times before a d management shrugs it off.
I'm considering going to the media and speaking to an attorney about a class action lawsuit.
A carhop said it happened to his. Other.

Desired outcome: Stop stealing from your customers. I want a refund for the duplicate charges.
