general manager

I went in with some high school friends after a game. We had been in there a few times this foot ball season. On one other occassion the general manager approached my friend and I who were exiting the bathrrom. He asked us if our service was going well and if there was anything he could do. I said things were fine and we were good. He asked if I were interested in a job and that he would be willing to sit down with me and interview me. I gave him my cell number and he said he would call when he had a time to meet. I got a call from (d) and went to meet him but not at bww. He met me at taco cabana. I left after ten minutes because he came on to me and mentioned nothing about the job and had not application for me - I was intimated and scared. I have not been in there since.

inappropriate employees

I was out with my family and I was watching one of the waitresses named Mary talking with some customers. She didn't seem to have the best attitude anyways. So I'm glancing over to see a television, and I see her just drinking some customers beer right there. Now, I work in the restaurant business and I know that employees should never drink on the job. It just seemed inappropiate and not very professional. She also just had a bad attitude with her co-workers. It made me feel really uncomfortable.

managment arguing with employee

management failed to close the office door when cursing and yelling at an employee. Manager #2 yelled in the employees ear very loudly literly hurting his eardrums.Harrassing on a daily basis.

I worked for Buffalo Wild Wings. They are thefts, they make you tip out 4% -3% of total sales to the salary paid managers... Some one needs to put a stop to it. Us as servers don't make any money as it is and they turn around and make us give them our hard earned money.. "even to the GM" Can someone please tell me whats wrong with this picture. Oh by the way its the Buffalo wild wings in Alabaster Alabama... Oh did i forget to tell you that also they make you work off the clock, and they shave your hours so that they don't have to give you a pay check..

    I've been working at BWW for 5 years and they do shave your paychecks. My friends in the kitchen have proof, although it is a franchise store I have worked at corporate stores and they were a lot better. "I" working in the kitchen got kicked out of BWW for having my hood on in the dinning room, and on my day off. and still have my job. I've seen way too much and they do not follow policy.

    try working for a gm that is 22 and all he sees is the money signs.. there is no proper sanitation followed servers eat off of customers trays before taking it to the table. not to mention i never see any waitstaff wash their nasty as hands before doing any food running prepping or nothing. the gm is also sleeping with waitstaff.. he doesn't enforce any of the policies set forth. i work in the kitchen i have had my hrs shaved but i had my printed time tapes that i print out every time i clock out, when i was getting shorted hrs on my check once i started printing out my time slips at clock out it stopped after 2 checks. i still print them out today... and yes the the tip out is unfair. our store the waitstaff have to tip out to the bar... i don't know the % but even if they don't have any tables that order a drink from the bar they have to still give a % to the bar? how is that fair.. and anytime i put an order in the window to be ran for the bar no waitstaff will run it and i don't blame them...

The actual layout of this restaurant is scattered and confusing. When you walk in the door you have to search for the hostess. After finally finding her, we were told of a 50 minute wait so she said we could go look over at the bar for a seat...she didn't even walk us over there to a table she basically was telling us to fend for after looking like idiots and not finding a seat we decided to leave. We had to weave through huge groups of people who were waiting to be seated..the place was a fire hazard. Then we decided to order to go. I was told the wait would be 15-20 minutes. So we went walking through the mall for a half hour and came back...the 3 cashiers at the check out were SO unprofessional and did not know what they were doing. The guy told me my food was not ready (mind you i had only a cheese quesadilla and chips and salsa to go). Instead he said I could pay for the meal right I payed and took a seat for another 25 minutes. As we sat there one of the cashier girls told a customer "go tell your friend at the table i think he is hot". Soooo...then my boyfriend decided to walk up and ask again if my simple meal was finished..this time an older guy was up front with the 3 clowns. He looked confused and checked the computer and ran in back. 5 minutes later he came out with my food. When we finally got home I noticed my cheese quesadilla was cold and rubbery and stuck to the paper it was packaged in (meaning it had been sitting out) and the chips were cold and nasty as well as the tasted like someone squeezed a lemon in it. HORRIBLE FOOD, HORRIBLE SERVICE...I am appalled. I will no longer patronize an establishment that is so careless to paying customers. I work in customer service and I am well aware that first impressions are extremely important. I think corporate should keep an eye on this is a circus!

    sounds like you had a bad experience, but just to let you know the bar is always open seating. it's company policy, customers seat themselves and the hostess doesn't deal with that side of the restaurant.

    clearly it was a busy night, so it's not the restaurants fault that people were waiting to be seated. they can't just create tables as people walk in. so dont be angry about that because it seemed hectic. bww often ends up "standing room only", if you don't like it, then don't go there. the full name of the restaurant is Buffalo Wild Wings BAR and Grill, so expect that kind of bar atmosphere. people go there for drinks and sports, not necessarily the quality of the food. if you want that, go to a five star restaurant.

    and the cheese was stuck to the packaging because it was put in there when it was hot, and probably by the time you got home it cooled down. and the chips and salsa are always cold. they make them in the restaurant everyday but they dont keep them heated. and we dont make the salsa, it's the salsa we are given. so it tastes like that ALL of the time.

    i can understand being upset because it took a long time to get your food, but honestly the kitchen was probably having a much more frustrating time than you were. i doubt that you have ever worked in a restaurant, or at least a busy one.

poor service and food

My wife, my son and I visited the Jefferson City MO location earlier this evening. No waitress was assigned to our table so we had to wait, after 45 minutes waitress finally came to our table and said they could not fill our order, they substituted another item which was poor quality. My food was overcooked, the burger was hard as a rock. We will not go back, we will make sure others know the poor service at this location. We have been to other locations where food and service was good. This place needs a lot of work, quickly. We will think a long time before going back. We spend several hundred dollars a month eating out.

    i took my son to sidney ohio bw3..i decided to eat light since i gave him 50$ for his birthday ..had the 3.99 chips and salsa..several of the chips almost broke my dentures.after 8 chips i quit..and their salsa is nothing but tomatoe paste with chunks of tomatoes..i have been a regular there for a long time..there answer to my small complaint(which i rarely do)..we"ll catch ya next time your in and took my money..think they will remember me? heck no..well.the chips and salsa were in the trash before we came back from smoking..cant argue there..oh and when i got home afriend called and said she was there today to get her husband some wings to go and waited 45 minutes. for 12 wings. but thats her complaint

My name is Don, and I went in to the Buffalo Wild Wings in San Antonio off of I-10 and De Zavala rd. just as I would any other wed. night, because that is when there is the fewest amount of people, I dont really like a busy crowd. At 12:33am I couldn't help but to over hear a gentlemen "putting down" ( insulting ) another employee for not ringing up an order properly or because he couldn't do a task as fast as he would have liked him to complete it in. In a matter of minutes the gentlemen which was said to be named as Josh ( the stores Manager ) demands that employee to the office, and that is when i decided to get going, but not before walking out the double glass doors, i hear that Manager yelling as well as cursing at the employee inside that office. I am just concern for the employees here at this location. I hope this matter can be handled properly. Thank you for your time.

    That is just plain rude! I hope the employee said, "Take this JOB and Shove it"! some times we are between a rock and a hard place...That is terrible.

    I went to Buffalo wild wings in Columbus Ga. I was out getting donations to help kids that may not have a nice christmas i went to about 50 places and Buffalo wild wings is the only place that would not give anything, and was down right rude about it.

    Oh ok, so I answered all of your b.s questions perfectly, am able to read and write well, deliver superb service to patrons- this is a bar/restaurant is it not?? In any case I was professional and polished, carefully following proper business etiquette and that may have been the whole problem really as it was quite clear the "managers" desperately needed a crash course in the types of behavior appropriate for the workplace. Sad, but hey, good luck with your endeavors bdubs3, I'm sure I'll be hearing many a complaint about your establishment while working for the competition.

    Stopped at St Augustine Buffalo Wild Wings last month just to try this store out. The service was terrible and the food was cold. Made a complaint and all I got was silence. I think they do not care if they get bad reports. It is like they believe a " s____" is born every unlimited supply of people to give poor service to. I did express my feelings so they had no excuse to shrug the shoulders. Lost our business to indifference.

    The management is the worst I have ever seen. Their training program is a joke and their Sr. Leadership all need to be replaced or retrained. At the very least they need a course on etiquette. The Florida market is horrendous. I will make sure I post on every available outlet letting people know how much of a joke company this is.
