Refill propane tanks
Have been going to BJs all summer to refill propane tanks for our travel trailer. Today we went 10/29/2020 and were told they aren't allowed to fill tanks in the rain it's a corporate policy. Never in my life have I hear of such a thing or was barely raining when we went today. Honestly I just feel like the associate didn't feel like doing his or her job. Was told to go to a place on route 9. Yes thank you will definitely be taking my business else where. If it's a corporate policy it should be posted for the customers.
Fraud
BJs Wholesale Club told me if I opened a credit card with them, I would receive a $40 credit on my first bill. I questioned the rep extensively about this credit and she assured me the $40 would show on my first bill as a promotion credit. Got first bill. No $40 credit. Called BJs. BJs Manager, Anthony, via a store rep told me they would give me a $40 gift card. I asked if I could use this toward the charge on my credit card. They said no. Rep told me I was definitely eligible and didn't understand why I didn't get the credit. They told me to call the rewards division of the bank. I called 3 or 4 different numbers. Hung up on three times. Each time I called I had to go thru the ARU and answers all the questions AGAIN. Spent an inordinate time being transferred, put on hold, having to retell the issues only to be transferred and put on hold again. I finally reached a gentleman, Francis, who told me he could give me a gift card or send me a check. I told him I didn't sign up for the credit card to be given a gift card. He said they could issue me a check but it would not arrive for 4 to 6 weeks. Long after the credit card is due. He also told me I would receive an email stating I would receive a check and assigned me a reference number 3295673. NO email. I then contacted the bank who issued the credit card in conjunction with BJs. I was unable to find a link on their site to dispute a charge so I sent a message asking where to find that link. This whole this is fraudulent. I signed up for a credit card upon BJs urging and was promised a $40 credit on the first bill. I did not get it. I then had to spend a large portion of my day trying to recoup this promotional credit. Neither BJs, the credit card rewards program or the bank is taking any responsibility for this other than saying they would issue me a gift card. Of course, I would have to go to the BJs store if I wanted the gift card - something I am not doing under the present virus situation. Why does it always fall on the consumer to 'fix' the inadequacies of a credit card, a rewards program or a bank? No one oversees the banks. It is a joke. They can do and do whatever they please. If they choose not to live up to their agreements nothing is done to them at the time or to prevent this in the future. They give you the run around and their solution to not accepting responsibility is to transfer you continually or hang up on you or both. Most people would not follow through on this. I am one who did although I am not sure that it will change anything. What are you going to do to protect my consumer rights? Incidentally, applying for this credit card I didn't even want hurt my chances of securing another credit card I did want.
Filed claim with CFPB - BJs response... They issued me a manual check on 10/2/020. They did not. They also reported this to Comenity Bank. Case was closed thinking it had been resolved. NOT. Now the bank is charging me interest on the $40. Bill now $42. Called BJs yesterday and was told I wouldn't get a check for 6-8 weeks. BJs lied to CFPB and Comenity Bank. Called Comenity Bank this morning as they have removed the dispute and was told I was responsible for the $42.00. Unbelievable. Called BJs Corporate office - message said it was a mobile number and the mailbox was full.

An item I bought and paid for and never rec'd
I purchased a portable a/c online. Aug 2 bought using paypal. Aug 5 item shows shipped, check clears through paypal. I wait until aug 15 and send an email. Tracking shows a label was created aug 5 no further movement on shipping number. No answer from em. Call bj's customer service. Get a reference # promised it would be looked into and will get a call back in 3 days. 4 days go by, no callback. Call again on aug 19. Furious because the agent says I have to wait until it ships. Absolutely unacceptable, ask to speak to a manager. Literally asked to speak with the supervisor 14 times. Finally the 15th time, 40 minutes later a supervisor comes on. Says she will personally look into it and call me back later that day, or by today at the latest. Needless to say no callback, I called them 2 hours on hold. No product paid 435.00 and no refund. What can I do so frustrating? Never ever buy or use bj's for your own good. Awful company!
Incorrect shipment order
After purchasing a one-day membership pass, I ordered 15 items via bjs.com. When I received shipment, (2 shipment boxes total); continued below...
1 of such shipment boxes contained 4 items, which were correct items in accordance to actual purchase. That box also contained a packing slip, which correctly listed items in that box. The second box, contained a packing slip which correctly listed the remaining items I had actually ordered, however it did not contain a single item which was correct. It had 2 large bags of Starbucks ground coffee, a box of bathroom mouth rinse cups, a bag of chinet plastic cups and a large bag of flour. I called BJ's customer service line on 4 occasions, each time was told the same thing, which is that the person recording my complaint/issue was to bring it to the attention of dept. whom made decisions regarding such; and was told the 'status' level of my file would be raised so that I could expect a response of some sorts within a 72 hour period. About 72 hours after the final time I had reached out to their customer service dept. I got a voicemail from one their representatives stating that in order for me to get $120 (the total cost of items not actually received) refunded to me, I would need to contact my personal bank and dispute the charge?! Outrageous, the charge was legitimate, I made it, my bank has no involvement in this matter in concerns to correcting such whatsoever. Its absolutely ridiculous to even suggest they could plausible believe it would possible for me to get monies returned via my bank by disputing the charge! Ha. Mind you, this response was after 4 attempts to resolve with BJs, and that a month has gone by since I made the first call to them in concerns to this issue.
Product delivered for an order that was canceled a month prior and card charged; customer service has not resolved after multiple attempts

On 5/24/20 I placed an order for an outdoor dining set (order #[protected]) in the amount of $695.99. I received an email from BJ's customer service that, due to shipping delays, I would not receive this item until mid-July. On June 12th I canceled the order as I did not want to wait and wanted the item much sooner (attached is BJ's confirmation email of my cancellation of the order). On July 13th, more than month after I had canceled the order and BJ's had confirmed my cancellation request, I received an email from BJ's (attached) that the order had been shipped. I called BJ's customer service on that date to inquire about the mix up and was told that, when the product was delivered, to call BJ's customer service and request that the item be picked up (as the item is large and heavy and I could not handle returning it to the store due to the weight/size). On July 27th the item was delivered and I called BJ's to request pickup (was on hold waiting for customer service for more than 1/2 hour due to long call waits). When I spoke to the customer service representative I was told that the item, which is large and sitting in my driveway in my way, would be picked up within 2-3 business days. 7 business days later on 8/2/20 I called BJ's customer service again (waiting on hold to speak to someone over half an hour again). This time they said for me to contact the manufacturer of the product myself and that they would also put in another request to have the product picked up. I sent an email to the manufacturer on 8/4/20 (attached) and have not received a reply nor was the item picked up due to a request from BJ's. Since then I have been trying to protect this item from weather/rain and have had it in my driveway in my way. I contacted BJ's again via chat on 8/4/20 (chat transcript attached) and expressed my frustration and requested that I speak with a supervisor. I was told that a supervisor would contact me in 3-5 business days. As of today on 8/11/20 the items have not been picked up, a supervisor has not called me, the issue has not been resolved, and there is still a charge for $695.99 on my card which I requested to be removed but has to be. I am extremely unsatisfied with the customer service I have received as a BJ's member, how long I have spent waiting on hold/communicating with customer service, that my issue has been ignored by management after I requested to speak with management, and that it is still unresolved.
Unprofessional / sexual behavior
There is a Employee his name is Robert, not sure his last name, But everyone time I come in he's rude, impatient and always has something sexual to say . " Hey" big booty, or look at them legs" etc. The way he talks to his coworkers is discusting. Ive been a member with BJ's for years and would hate to end my relationship with the compant over this.

In this very trying time, the CDC has recommended but not required masks.Nonetheless, my older children have medical conditions that have an effect on them if they wear it. Instead of a polite exchange as they leave BJs, they encounter a man who shamed them.Now I wonder if BJs is instructing employees to do so in an effort to push a political agenda.

226049 which consisted of Stratford 5Pc Dining set for $399.00 and item # 226095 Windsor bedroom set $1099.00 both items were on sale. Today May 7, 2020 I called and spoke to Bjs customer service representative Edwin and your affilitated bank refrence # 4061 after I was told that the charge was never authorized. I also received an email today informing me my order was cancelled and if I wish to purchase the items to reorder them. Items ordered previously are now at regular price, and dining room is out of stock.
Who and why authorized to cancel my order especially as I called Bjs customer service three days ago after holding on the phone for over two hours as Bjs replied your order is being processed.
I would like this concern refered to the ceo Lee Delaney, as well as have my requested furnitured delivered to my residence as soon as possible as requested. Im completely disquested with the unprofessional hold time and the misleading information I have been provided by your employees.

Your lack of control
I recently visited BJ's Wholesale Club on Capital BLVD in Raleigh, NC, They do no require patrons to wear Face Masks, As a result, over half of the patrons were NOT wearing masks, Also most of them ignored the proximity requirements.
I have already posted this on Facebook and sent this complaint to [protected]@bjs.com with no response from her/him.
