Just had the worst experience with this company. Ordered flowers for my uncle’s funeral online to be delivered to the funeral home. Paid extra for special delivery, time only, before 10 am delivery. I never received a receipt in my email. The next day I received a text message from the company stating they need to speak to me in reference to my order. Action required. I called the company immediately, which was automated, and they had to schedule a call back. When they called back, they indicated the arrangement had to be adjusted because the yellow flowers I chose were out of season. After discussing this with them, I agreed with the flower change. I advised this support person that I still never received an email receipt from them. She verified my email and stated she would send it to me. I never received an email still. The next day I again received a text message from this company stating they needed to reach me. Again, I called back immediately and again they had to schedule a call back. When I finally spoke to someone, I could barely understand her with the screaming child in the background. This time she stated that they could not deliver to the funeral home because of the flower arrangement which I did not understand. She could not tell me anything further on the reason but stated they could deliver to my family's residence. I asked to cancel my order, and she stated she would give me a 10% discount if they could just deliver to my family's residence. I again asked for a full refund if they could not deliver to the funeral home. She again, insisted that they would deliver the arrangement to the resident. I asked to speak with a supervisor, and she put me on hold. After about 15 minutes on hold, she came back stating that she was able to provide me with a full refund. Still no supervisor. When asked to talk to a supervisor she indicated they were all busy and she would schedule a call back. I never received a call back from this company. I had to call another florist and pay extra for rush delivery. After explaining my situation this new florist waived the rush delivery. What a deference in customer service. I would never recommend Avas Flowers to anyone!
