Aspen always asks for payment upfront. I had a tooth pulled and two weeks later I had my teeth cleaned. Both of these were scheduled at the same time, and I paid for them both at the same time in the amount of 147.00. 3 weeks later I get a bill and it shows I owe 136.20, And then I get my dental statement from my insurance, and I truly only had to pay 53.00...

When our local Office opened I went to them. I was told I need upper and lower partials. I agreed. I paid up front on my Care Credit and they were to file to file my Insurance Company for them. This was all most 5 years ago or 6. My Insurance Company informed me last year they never filed it. All this time I am going for regular checkups they are smiling...

Aspen Dental Dec.18 2023 I was ripped off by aspen

Dang, this makes you feel so dumb, I paid Aspen for 2 implants. $8,000. Because the dentist at Aspen could not read my exray at all. I need to go somewhere. Aspen kept $360 out my money. So, last week I went to see a different dentist. The office let me sit for the exray. This dentist was able read my exray. Aspen 100% should not keep my money.

Sincerely,

Kathleen Prior [protected]

Claimed loss: $360

Desired outcome: get my money back

My adventure with Aspen Dental started in 2022. I have full dentures in which I received from a different dentist office in Dallas Tx (Lancaster Family Dental), My dentures were made to fit and look like my old teeth prior to removal of teeth and put in immediate dentures in 2018. In 2022 I had a tooth from the denture to come out. I made an appointment...

I took my son for tooth pain they did some x rays and said he needed a root canal but would need to send me to an office an hour away because they couldn’t do it at the current office. They also said he would need some deep cleaning over several appointments. We applied for care credit at which time they charged me for the root canal and future deep...

Aspen Dental Full bottom dental implant

I had a full bottom implant that was completed in August 2023. The implant does not fit. I had gone back to the office 3 times to have adjustments made. On the last visit the technician said that she couldn’t shave much more off because there just wasn’t anywhere to take it off. She wasn’t a regular employee. She was doing some extra training there, but she was from the Bloomington office. I went home and knew they were never going to fit. I had paid up front. I tried using Fixadent to keep them in my mouth, but it would only wind up coming loose every time I ate anything. I finally went to another Dental clinic that had a 5 star rating and got a second opinion. They did x-rays and a CT scan. They showed that the posts were not parallel, but were crooked. They were both leaning toward each other substantially. The cat scan showed that the dental implant would not fit right on the gums, suggesting that the impressions were not done right. The dentist said that the implants were not the best ones that should have been used. He stated they were weak magnets and that they should have used the more heavy duty ones, especially knowing that they had only put two posts on in the very front of the mouth. He said the implant’s should have had at least two more posts towards the back of the mouth to try to stabilize how much they would move in the mouth especially when biting down and chewing food. I made another appointment with him to do a consultation to fix the problem. At that appointment he gave me two options to fix all the mistakes. I choose to go with the fixed implant. I want a full refund from Aspen dental since the implant from them is never going to fit me. By the way, the temporary implant they gave me after pulling all my bottom teeth never, ever fit me. I kept telling them the temporary one’s didn’t fit either. I went back to them several times to have adjustment made but I got the same response from them, that they couldn’t do anymore adjustments, so I was left completely toothless on my bottom. I lost a lot of weight and dropped down to 96 lbs. My doctor and family were very worried about the weight loss and the fact that I could only eat soft or liquids for all those months. I had my surgery to remove all my teeth in January 2023, so it was at least 7 months getting my implants. There is so much more to to this nightmare, but that will require a lot more time to gather all the information. I believe there is an issue with them charging me $1299 more after I paid in full up front. There is the matter of them owning me $3500 refund that they refuse to give me. I paid for a bridge that would have been put in on the upper gums where I had several teeth pulled. That was included on the estimate I paid in full on. I told them I wasn’t going to do it, but they refused to give me a refund. They said I owed 1299 more and I gave them a $500 check that day as partial payment. I want a full refund for the entire cost because I went thru almost a year of pain and so much stress and am still not able to eat and enjoy food. My stress level is at maximum now that I know I have to go thru all of this again and have to pay thousands of more dollars to fix the poor work that was so unnecessary! I pray you will help resolve this full refund issue. If not, I won’t have any choice but to get a lawyer. I can give you the information to contact Madison Dental Health and get the CT scan, x-rays, his treatment plan to fix the mistakes and poor quality work. I do have a lawyer that will take this case if not resolved to my satisfaction. I only want my money back. At this point I am willing to negotiate for a full refund including the $3500 for the bridge I paid for and didn’t get done, and the $500 dollar check I paid towards the $1299 they said I owed them despite paying for everything up front At the beginning. As you know if it goes to my lawyer, I will ask for more for all of the stress and weight loss and the fact that I have to suffer through this whole procedure again which feels like I’m in a nightmare. FYI I lost my husband of 50 years shortly before I started the process of doing the implants. That in and of itself was the most devastating experience in my life. I am 75 years old and am not looking forward to any of this! But I’m moving forward with this course of action now because I am stronger now and know that it’s the right thing to do.

Desired outcome: Full and complete refund for all procedures and refund of $3500 and $ 500 dollars paid after I had paid in full up front.

Aspen Dental Dentures

This concerns the Aspen dental located at 3425 Erie Blvd East, Syracuse N.Y. I bought the top of the line dentures just short of 7 years ago. I had lost between 35-40lbs and my dentures were falling out every time I talked, tried adhesive but not what I had to do when they were first fitted. So I called Aspen located at said address, talk to person answering the phone told her my problem and she scheduled an appointment for 3-5-24. I went in the lady asked what was I here for I said I had thought she would known. Then said they would need to take a xray which at first I said not if if's not covered. Then she said I 'm sending you back out to waiting room, which I thought was unfair because they should have had checked to see if it was covered, So then we got into a shouting match with the dentist and two of her workers all converged on me. I told them I wanted their names and the number for Aspen Management which they refused to do. Then one of her workers said go out back out in waiting room, I said the other lady just told me that everything was covered including the xray's. I told her to open her ears and then when the Dentist said go were are not doing anything for you. I paid top dollar for the dentures and now I can't keep them in my mouth. I did try and apologize but that wasn't enough for her. How can we resolve this? I just want them to fit, can;t they give me a second chance? Thanks for your understanding in this matter. PS sorry didn't know anyone's name. I did ask but they but they refused.

Desired outcome: Just to be able to go back and give me a second chance, so I can keep my dentures in my mouth.

Aspen Dental billing

After 8 months I received a bill from Defiance Ohio. I called them and they said they are not responsible for billing. I have called every number I can find about Aspen and was on hold till my arm fell asleep. So here I go again Earlier this week 2/25 I received a bill for services that were for 6/2/2023. This is the first I had heard of it. Aspen is always good about doing things without my knowledge or permission. This must of been one of those things so bill me 8 months later and expect to pay.

Claimed loss: $139.00

Desired outcome: I feel I should not have to pay for something 8months old when I have never heard of this before

In fall of 2022 I went to aspen dental to get an extraction and implant. I had a $1500 quote from other dentist one hour drive away. The worst experience imaginable. I’ve had several friends and family warn me about Aspen Dental, 4001 Denny Avenue, Pascagoula, MS, but nothing could have prepared me for the series of lies and corruption from the administrative staff to the dentist himself. I checked in early with two admin assistants who were immediately cold, unprofessional...

Aspen Dental Management comment about me

I have worked MANY successful days as a Locums Temp throughout the Aspen Offices in Alabama. One is particular is the one in Foley, Al that is minutes form my home. My Temp agency has notified me of a need for a dentist there and even though I am a VERY highly trained dentist and minutes form this office I have been declined. I live so close that there is no need for me to stay in an expensive motel while working there. I asked the Temp agency why I was being turned done and was told to him by the Regional Manager that they, I assume Aspen had an "uncomfortable experience with me". I can ONLY guess it was because a man who I found out later was the owner of the Foley office had told the staff a "lie" about his mlltary dental position. A staff member told me that he too had military experience and he was a " Flight Dentist, that's what the staff told me. I said there is no much position. Guess she told him what I said and he commented how would I know. I told her a was the Hospital CEO and there is no such position. Guess he now doesn't want me in any of this Regions Offices. I want that comment REMOVED as I don't want the Temp agency to think I did something wrong. Confirm this with Brandon Lanzara at [protected] Barton associates. Thanks for your help. I look forward to helping out in more Aspen Offices when needed. My e mail is: [protected]@comcast.net or my cell: [protected]. You have my CV to contirm my background.

Claimed loss: NO $$ loss. Just reputation due to a confirmed lie.

Desired outcome: Return to helping out as a Locums Temp in more Aspen Offices

Location; 4131 Fort Campbell Blvd, Hopkinsville , KY 42240 pH# [protected] OPT 2.

On 01/17/2024 I spoke with Mrs. Taylor McLaughlin Finance manager at the office. She informed me that the schedule extraction with Dr Crist can not proceed until i pay up front $1700.00 . I empty my savings account and gave her cash money of the full amount. I ask for a receipt and never received one. I had the dental procedure done that evening . My dental insurance with Humanna informed me by phone that they sent the clinic two checks $135. and $270. for 3 extractions done by Dr. Crist up to 2/5/2024. I told this to Humanna representative on 02/16/2024 that afternoon. The representative stated possibly looks suspicious and i need to get in contact with Aspen corporate authorities ASAP.

Aspen Dental incompetence in scheduling

I have never seen a office that is so messed up as this one, I called and made an appointment for a filling that fell out just a simple surface filling, I was given an appointment for 3 weeks later, when I got there they had me down for an emergency visit and was going to take exrays to find where the abcess was, I told them I did not have an abcess only needed a surface filling replaced and they told me I would have to come back April the first for filling, this is the most incompetent thing I have ever heard, by then the tooth will probably be bad and need extracted, never did see the dentist. I love Dr, Graham but the office people are so incompetent. If this tooth rots in the next 7 weeks I will be talking to an lawyer. Crazy!
