Aspen Dental review: Dentures

I went in May of this year (2019) in severe pain wanting something done. They quickly signed me up for having teeth pulled and dentures. I was told my 'insurance' would not cover all, and they pulled up forms for me to sign for a 'no interest' loan to cover expenses. Original cost shocked and dismayed me, but in the pain I was in at that time, I might have sold my grandmother! Now after making arrangements as demanded, I sat down in the chair to 'get fitted for the permanent partials, as ordered. Then they shocked me then and there with a charge of $8000 more to clean remaining teeth and crown other remaining teeth before taking the mold for permanent partials.
I feel as if I was tricked into this entire situation. I feel that I should have been able to sit down with someone, with my mind clear, and presented with ALL options. I was asked while sitting in the chair, 'did I want to save any of my teeth'. I did not know nor understand what further costs that might entail.
After the shock of them holding out their hand for $8000 in their office that day that I was supposed to be free of these temp dentures, instead I walked out, confused and bewildered. You might as well have hit me in the head with a bat!
I have not been back since that day, about 3 weeks now. I have not answered their calls or emails. I am angry and feel duped and taken advantage of. I don't know where to go or what to do. I am losing weight, and demoralized and depressed. I feel as if like a person who has lost their legs or worse. My face is changed, and now I wait for the inevitable; that these temps brake and then what do I do? Meanwhile, I continue to pay as planned on the some nearly $3500 financed, for fear that they will hit me with the major interest rate.
I am not sure what I want, to be 'made right again'. I can't have my teeth back. Although I had told them before they pulled my teeth that I wanted them, and they did not comply with this. Three of the teeth I had since 16 years old, were gold.
I am 70 in December, and pray that you can help. I am retired and of course on a fixed income, and these charges are driving me and wife and children under. I had no clue that this would cost so much. I just wanted the pain to stop.
