My fiance' had an appointment at Aspen Dental in Macon, GA on February 27, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. We arrived a little after 8 a.m. because my fiance' was in extreme pain due to his tooth. He completed the paperwork necessary to begin the appointment. One of the receptionists, dark complexion, with glasses asked for his ID. He gave a voter's ID because he doesn't have a driver's license or passport. On the website, it didn't specify what type of ID so we thought a voter's ID was sufficient when we arrived in person. The receptionist didn't ask the manager if the ID was ok and kept looking at my fiance' in an odd way. She eventually told my finace' that he couldn't be seen. It was raining that day and we were upset. We went home and my fiance' was in pain.
Desired outcome: We would like an apology. We felt that my finace' was judged unfairly and the receptionist didn't do the proper steps to accept him. She made a bad judgement call.
