I ordered a product on January 13, 2026. Before paying, it said delivery next day! (I am a Prime member) The next day, I get a response saying order delayed and not shipped. I attempted to cancel because I then needed to purchase elsewhere. Amazon refused to let me cancel it even though never shipped or prepared yet. I talked with "chat"; they kept transferring me from one person to the next and no one could tell me why it was not shipped yet or why it could not be cancelled. Today is January 18th and still says not shipped. AGAIN, I go on chat and this time I am really frustrated with it all. It is not that I need that item so badly, but it is the principle of it all. The customer service is quite useless. No one could tell me the delay or why I could not cancel it. I went on Chat again this morning since it still after 5 days shows not shipped. I got fairly angry this time, and I was passed to 5 different chat peeps. One of them out of spite then cancelled my "Prime" membership. Not sure how Amazon can get away with such horrible customer service. I contacted fraud and notified them I was hacked and membership cancelled while on the Chat but I could determine they were not alarmed at all.
