Customer service and account handling
Got a notice of suspicious activity on my account. My account was automatically locked. When I tried to reset password and access my account again it didn't work. This happened on 9-27-23. Customer service tried to get me to create a new account. That didn't work either. I was taken in circles trying to regain access to my account. I was accused of doing...

My account was hacked on 9/9/2023. Many charges have been made to my bank account and my credit card. I am unable to login to my account. I have talked to nine people and have been trying to resolve this. Every time I call, I am told that I will receive an email within 24-48 hours. I have not received an email.
I was told the two-step verification has been turned off but when I try to login, I am asked to get a OTP which I cannot seem to get. I have changed my password many times and nothing seems to work.
Damage driveway
On 11/24/23 truck came up my driveway to deliver a small package. Most deliveries are walked in from the street or left in the mailbox. While backing out of the driveway, he went off the side and destroyed a wooden rail that served as a curb. Numerous contacts with Amazon customer service yielded nothing.

Delivery driver hit our subdivision gate doing $800 in damages September 24th, 2023 at 10:37AM
We noticed our subdivision gate was hit by someone and damaged an optical unit that detects if there is a gate obstruction. We are called the Lost Oaks Home Owners Association here in San Antonio, Texas. The gate stays open permanently when this device is damaged. We have a camera system and captured footage of a gray Infinity SUV hitting the gate, then stopping, getting out, and inspecting their vehicle for damage after it contacted the right side. The person was wearing a blue Amazon delivery vest. We captured the license plate as well which is identified as Texas Tag ID: SXY 3199
We called the gate company and they came out today to repair it and it cost $808.
My name is Chase Hammock
Board Member - Treasurer, Lost Oaks HOA
Phone: [protected]
My personal address: 6410 Lost Arbor, San Antonio, Texas, 78240
Desired outcome: We would like to be paid back for the $808 in damages. We have the video footage and the driver's license plate.
Gift code with unreadable claim code
Do NOT purchase Amazon gift cards anymore. I made the mistake last month (08/18/2023) of purchasing an Amazon gift card for $125 from a local grocery store called Smith's. Their parent company is Kroger's. As soon as I got home, I opened the gift card. The packaging didn't appear to have been tampered with. I pulled the sticker off the back, and half of the...

for the last several months I've had up to 15 items that said IN STOCK, but I never get a ship date. I've spent hours on the phone with customer service and they try to find out why, but never get the issues resolved. I know others that have had the same problem. Did Amazon change a policy or what is going on with this problem. I've been a member for years and have never had this problem until lately.
Desired outcome: I would like to know if there has been a policy change or why all of a sudden this keeps happening.
Gift cards
We appreciate Amazon in general, but as of late hit two (related) snags that no one at the lower tiers of customer service has been able or invested in resolving. First, we used part of a gift card for an order, but later cancelled the order (it never shipped). The gift card balance was never restored (it remains stuck in "pending" mode - at the time of this writing, it has been stuck for about 2 weeks). We also purchased an Amazon gift card for a family member during Prime Days this past summer because there was a promotional $5. for purchasers of gift cards that were bought over Prime. Of course we have not received this. If we call or chat, the team members on the other end have been professional, polite, and entirely unable to figure out what is going wrong.
Desired outcome: We just want our money back.
Damaged orders, defective orders, emails not responded to
The last three orders were damaged or defective. After three phone calls over the space of a week and a half an hour on hold with people from India that can barely speak English and a half I finally got a refund for one of the orders. Now I have another damaged order that was supposed to be delivered today, Amazon Prime. But no, this one is damaged also and...

I ordered a blouse on Sept. 1. The original delivery date was Sept. 10-12. Amazon tracking says the carrier (Newlogistics) picked it Sept. 5. But when I checked with Newlogistics they showed they never received it. After Sept. 12 date passed, the new delivery date was changed to Sept. 16. That passed and changed to Sept. 21. I have not received my item and...

I ordered my products like i normally do without a hitch. I had several items with various delivery dates. I chose the option for a date where all items would be delivered the same day. Today I get an email stating part of my order will be sent on a date I didn't agree to. I called Amazon customer service and explained I would not be available on the random day that was assigned. I spoke to a rep and a supervisor who gave me a template answer of "the driver will drop off the items whether I'm home or not. If someone takes/steals the packages, it's your responsibility to report it." This alleged policy makes no sense, I didn't request the date for the partial delivery, Amazon did. I chose a different date. Why is this now a me problem that Amazon created? Why couldn't they just change the delivery date for another day? Other retailers do it why not Amazon?
Desired outcome: The delivery is tomorrow. No one will be there to receive it. At least a refund or a better explanation would help me understand why Amazon changed the delivery date without checking with me to see if I would be home.
Two stolen amazon gift cards totaling $400
I ordered two amazon gift cards through my company recognition system. They were for 2 $200 Amazon Branded Gift Cards. I received the email notice that my award was ready and I clicked on the link to view it but NEVER loaded it to my account (see attachments you can see my history of gift card loads). When I went to use the gift cards, they both showed zero balance and that they were used.
No one ever used them. No one. I contacted Amazon who told me that I needed to reach out to the company where I ordered them. The company that I ordered them did a diagnostic (also attached) and it shows that I opened it but again, you can see from my history, never used. The award company told me that since they were branded with Amazon that Amazon would need to reissue me the replacement cards.
If this was $30 dollars, I'd write it off, but this was $400 which was to be given to charity. Please help me.
Desired outcome: I want my $400 Amazon gift cards reissued as they were NEVER used by me.
Nail glue 3 bottles
I ordered 3 nail glue (5 sec glue) from this company. I returned them the second time that they were defective and requested a refund and not another product sent to me. Now this is the third time I have the product and it too is defective. I just want a refund to my account and not the glue delivered to me again. All of these bottles are stuck and will not come out. One has a broken off stick.
Each time I returned the glue and proper return forms another shipment was sent to me.
Thanks for your help in this matter.
Long time customer
Desired outcome: To credit my account and not have another shipment of nail glue sent to my address.
I have Amazon Prime but requested to pay shipping on a return.
On August 10 I purchased a Otherya 56" Roof Rack Cross Bar for $169.90 + tax = $195.39. Shortly after the purchase was made the price was reduced to $129.90 + tax (a $40.00 + tax reduction). I requested the $40.00 + tax reduction from Amazon and that was not possible. The other option was to return what was purchased and request a refund of $195.39 and then...
Read full complaintAmazon shipping lied about arrival time once I hit order
Today September 10, 2023 I spent 2 hours finalizing an order. It said my items would arrive tomorrow. I hit the place order and it showed all 6 items delivery newly listed delivery time as next Saturday. Almost a full week away. How can they do this? Isn’t that illegal and false advertising? Also spent 30 minutes looking for email or phone number to call them and there isn’t one. They said to chat when there isn’t a chat feature.
Desired outcome: I want the correct delivery date to be the truth
Hi Lisa, I live in Atlanta and even with an Amazon warehouse/fulfillment facility, Logistics center, I’ve noticed problems related to products being fulfilled and delivery via Amazon has become much more frequent than in the past. For same day delivery Amazon will entice you to spend an additional $25.00 on eligible items in order to get Rush same day delivery. The customer spends the additional money to get this special rush delivery service and when the delivery doesn’t happen, you find out via the tracking info that there’s some kind of issue, but no one knows what the issue is. This is a major problem I’ve been having here in Atlanta with my orders. When calling the Amazon CSR at the 1-866 #, they have no idea why there’s a delay.. I get the same response. “We're sorry your delivery is late. If you prefer not to wait for this package, you can cancel and get a refund”
What kind of response is that?
Refund for returned USB drive
The problem is simple. The refund was listed as $42 dollars for two items. I returned both. The refund I was told had been processed, but it was only for one item. I have over an hour attempting to resolve this issue on line. I have waitted over an hour for an Amazon representive to call. I tried CHAT, but was led through a maze of options not of which pertained to my problem. My feeling is that Amazon did not want to bother. This is the second time I have had this problem. I was able to resolve the issue before, but could not do it again.
Desired outcome: I just want the refund to be issued for the proper amount.
Refund blocked by amazon
I placed a same day order for jbl wireless earbuds and a wireless mouse for a total of $65.35 on september 2, 2023 and it never showed up. I contacted support every day following that and was guaranteed it would show up on the next day every time I called. On monday the 4th of september I called earlier in the day and the rep called the driver who...

The descriptor says it all. But the last customer service agent ("Daniel") with whom I dealt (after having been told that I would receive no further emails about this botched Amazon return) was exceptionally rude, smug, and arrogant. It all started when I discovered (after having purchased ONE) of the newer updated Fire Cubes. I then decided (unwisely...
Read full complaintUnable to get into my account
Aug. 8, 2023 my TV and computer service went down. I spent a lot of time trying to get into Amazon, but there is no way to speak to a human being. They kept trying to send me a code on my phone, but it does not come through. I have received messages on my phone that someone in California is trying to change my phone #. I am not near Ca. and the IP is not my computer. I was able to get my TVs working via Prime for awhile but not the computers, which the woman said she wasn't trained to do. I finally contacted the router service and he reset my passwords and got that working for awhile. However, I cannot get into my Amazon account and am going in circles because I can't get human help and the phone code is not working. Now my Prime Fire stick only works if I put in the password every time I turn the TV on. Both of these issues are unacceptable and I am not receiving the services I pay for.
Desired outcome: Fix the problem. Have a human contact available and provide actual service.

An Amazon driver was delivering a package and pulled into a very tight and space restricted area in front of our garage. The driver moved the Amazon truck back and forth until it was facing the way to the street.
In moving the Amazon truck back and forth, the truck backed into arborvitae landscape trees and knocked them down pulling up the roots and also damaged grass of the lawn in the landscape area.
The driver left our property without stopping to report the damage they had caused.
We have Ring videos of the Amazon truck entering and leaving our property.
Desired outcome: Prompt payment for property restoration.

On June 15 purchased a kitchen sink the tracking showed that it would be delivered on July 28 and July 27. When I called and spoke to Amazon customer service, they said it was a matter for the shipper so I called DHL. They told me that the...
