I am a resident of sector-18, Nerul; my number is [protected] an Airtel user and my network got disrupted from 5th November and till date it’s not sorted out. I made complain in the helpline, on 7th November and since then been following up and every time the deadline changes. Initially they said it will be restored within 2 working days and then it changed to 5 working days and then till 25th November. But ironally nothing has been done regarding the same and as my problem still persists. I have got my mobile checked with the service center and also using other sim cards its working perfectly fine but just my sim is not getting range at my residence, initially this was never the problem.. I have been with Airtel for the last 4 years and am facing it just this month..
After 25th November when I called up the help line and they gave me a new deadline till 7th November, and after two days rcvd a call from Airtel asking if the problem has been sorted. I could only hear Airtel agent’s voice clearly. Other networks were poor.
After that have been calling up the customer care and the option to speak to the agent has been omitted and some new sms system has come up. Now am left in lurch as to who to contact and get it sorted out.

sir i m totally dissatisfied with your service. i got an internet connection just 2 days before and it was said to me that u have got an unlimited connection with monthly rental at just rs 450. but now they are saying that your monthly rent is rs 900. thats not good for me. sir i cant afford to pay this much amount. so i kindly request you to please change my plan or if possible discontinue your services at the earliest. i will be thankful to you.

he has taken Advance from me of RS 500- FOR COINNECTION THREE OR FOUR MONTHS BEFORE. after a month he told me there is no D.P available there. then i asked him to return money, he stopped picking up my calls. i had complaint in office also by telephonic calls, but i get no response there.

I HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING FOR THE PAST OVER 4 YEARS.
Anyone who dials 7555 from an airtel connection at Hyderabad,
the call lands on my landline [protected].
Lately also the customers who are dialing for caller tunes, the call lads on the same ladline.
I getin touch with the customer care and they fail to understand the problem, and do not give me the numbers of their managers
so that i can explain how and why these calls land

Airtel customer service has the most unorganized and undisciplined organizational set up that I have ever come across. I suggest that the class down. I have registered a complain for the network problem that i face in and around my residence area for almost a month now and haven't got any feedback. The last time I spoke to a guy named Vicky, who told me that he would get back to me in 2 hours time and never got back. Neither do the customer service staff is skilled enough to handle the calls.

Airtel is a disastrous service provider. I suggest customer to never use Airtel services ever in their life!

I am a Airtel prepaid user for past 4 years. Recently i got an SMS saying particular service has been activated and daily rental for that also have been charged. When i submitted my complaint at 198 they totally disagreed with me and said that i only activated the service so only charged. Then i deactivated the service and similarly the very next week i faced this problem again and when i called 198 i was very surprised to hear that it has been blocked for me, I was not able to speak to an executive.

With this poor customer service i tried Mobile number portability to change to a new network and requested at the new network provider to change me. I sent my request to change network for 3 times and airtel still didn't release my number. Every time i request, I get a message from the new operator saying my porting request has been rejected by current operator due to subsisting contractual obligation.

what can i do. Please help.

I had purchased a sim card after paying security deposit of Rupees 500|- but I did not activate the card after I came to know that the sales girls had lied to me saying that ISD calls will be 5 rupees a min. After that without activation I got a bill So I went to the airtel gallery and told them that they have sent me a bill without my card being activated and they promised to refund me my security deposit after one year I am still to receive my security deposit

on 10may, i asked customer care to start net for recharge of 5rupees . My balance befose recharge is 196 & after recharge is 191. iused net for 14.55 rupees for download . But my balance become 0 in the morning dated 11may. I have talked customer care for several days .on 18 may 50 rupeees was refund.Ihave talked to neha, joyti, chandan, malkeet & many more...no action has been taken till date. now they are not responding to call. even they are not taking the calls

I am a customer of Airtel from last 5 -6 years. Once there was a time when Airtel was so confidant about there bills, at that time they were stamping on their bills REWARD OF Rs/-1000 ON BILLING MISTAKE.
But now a days they are also cheating as the other low grade companies.
I am using Airtel GPRS. On 1st August company deduct 35 Rs/- . As per company's customer care the reason was using of Airtel live. I aproach to senior officer, they refund my deduced amount.
Now on Aug 21.2010 again deduct my Rs 63.80 on the name of Airtel live charges.
The companies have full right to deduct amount from customers account whithout any proof. On complaining they blame to customer. What can I do now ? Please suggest me!

I have 3 connection of Airtel but i was not satified by the connectivity of the connections .Lots of time i made complaint to the cutomer care but no action was taken.Major thing is that 1 executive came form a collection agency and abusing my family members .He told my family that they will kidnap my daughter who is 4 yrs old .They also called me on my cell and again repeating the extermely bad language that i cnt explain.I recorded each and every world of that agent.Collection agency name is Fusion Corporation and executive name is Shahid. Continously 3 days these guys were floowing me with some local gundas when i was coming from my office .WE also filed complaint aganist them to plocice commossioner of ahmedabad.My no is [protected].

Kindly take strict action against them and that is very bad experience .

On the website of AIRTEL (link http://www.airtel.in/User_Voucher.aspx?path=1/6/6/2&cid=3) it is clearly mentioned that on a recharge of Rs 450, the talk time is 300. But since the last 2 months I have been getting only 275.

Called up Customer Care about 3 times. The first 2 times they agreed that I should be getting 300 and assured that I’ll get the remaining amount in the next 48 hrs! but this didn’t happen, both the times! When I called the 3rd time, the guy at the other end (after confirming with his so called supervisor) said that I will be getting only 275. When I told him that airtel website says 300 he asked me to write a complaint to the website itself!

I mean, are the callers not aware of the packages and what rubbish is this? Aren’t they and the website in sync? They should be taking this issue up! What if one sees the rates on the internet, selects the package and then is told by customer care that the website of airtel gives bull information?!?

PATHETIC service!

our airtel service regarding unlimited usage plan has been stopped working due to some delay in the bill payment.we request u to restart our services for internet and set up box as soon as possible and please send someone to receive the bill of rs 521 at our place.and i have already made many complaints for changing our airtel set up box which is outdated and not working properly.so our set up box to pe replced with restating of broadband service as it was plan for rs 999.

My wife Mrs. Rajasri Ganguli has been using airtel mobile phone for last 5 years. It is a prepaid Kolkata (India) connection. The phone number is [protected]. She is now stationed in Ghaziabad and does not use the number here. She uses the phone when she goes to Kolkata only. A number of times she has requested for DND ( do not disturb), but the airtel company sends her all types of promotional SMSs. They send a number of updates on new products, value added sevices etc. AND SHE IS CHARGED FOR INCOMING SMSs. It is illegal and amounts to cheating.

Last month i posted about the issue that i m facing i m unable to locate the url ... I recd call again from airtel saying that there is a case on me and tomo is hearing i don't understand is that my fault loosing a bill for which i paid and thy are asking me to pay for that. (Who will update it)

Actual : I m the customer of Airtel and i have shifted to different place where airtel connection is not available ...i didnt paid the bill for 2 months and later airtel executive came to collect the bill i cleared the dues and closed the connection, . the mistake i did is i didnt saved that receipt and i didnt contacted back airtel.

After a year + i recd call on dec 8th 2010 saying that i didnt paid the bill and there was a case on me some one called from delhi highcourt sec 6 --- i don't understand that as its been a year + I posted the same thing here on jan and recd a reply from airtel saying that issues has been closed and today again i recd a call from below mentioned no and same thing again ... i dont understand why it was happening

In the early part of february I have ported from AIRTEL to BSNL and after the period of three months unsatisfied with the services of BSNL have changed to AIRTEL ten days ago, but the services haven't been activated on my sim...
Iam suffering with no incoming and outgoing calls... and unable to deliver messages even...
the only service Iam possesing now is the incoming of messages.
I have submitted this number in all my RESUMES and please make it soon...

These people keep on deducting the money and when we respond to them they say we cannot refund the money.

On 22nd i called up 121 customer service and i requested Ankoor to stop my hello tune and he said that my request has been ecepted and my hello tune is turned off.

And today in the morning i get a message that Rs 20 is deducted from my account for hello tune which i stoped yesterday. and when i called back a guy put me on hold for 5 min and then hung up on me and after that when i am trying tocall i am not able to contact them.

I have experienced this a manyer times. And this has also cost me my job once.

hi i am using airtel prepaid number iam from india, tamilnadu, chennai for last one week airtel network charging 2 rupees and i called to customer care from 198 and 121 and [protected] numbers but i can reach still 9th option to speak to customer care operator but they disconnect my call but lastly they inform me that call to *121# number to start or stop a service and to know about my balance and validity. even i dail that but its not voice call its a text call it coming option to start and stop a service . so i select stop a service but it replying there is no service to stop in your number. then why they taking 2rs please help me i lost more that 10rs . and i tried to call from different mobile and my airtel landline but same reply for me . i want to valid reason otherwise i will take severe action on airtel network . thank you this is my mobile number [protected] my name vidya

I am (was) an airtel Suscriber since 2004, Gujarat, Bangalore respectively. I was so impressed by the service of Gujarat and Bangalore. therefore, when i started job in Hyderabad with my present company, I intended to take Airtel connection. I am very sorry to say that service in Hyderabad is below average, i mean very BAD.

My connection has been disconnected without prior notice . when enquired, they stated that due to lack of relevant proofs, house address. I had submitted all relevant document to the Airtel official who came to our office and initiated for the connection.

After disconnecting the line, I have contacted the Airtel official several times, even I have personally handed over my residence proof (House Agreement) to the Account Manager. He assured me reactivation of the connection, till date it s not been activated, apart from that the so called officials are not attending my call too. till date no action has been taken from their side.

This made so much inconvenience in fact big trouble to me; Officially and personally. Therefore I am forced to disconnect Airtel connection and go for some other connection.

Please do not negelct any customer like this! You do not treat customers properly!

On 18-04-08 i recharged my mobile with Rs. 333. Only Rs.171 was credited to my account. On calling to the customer service i was told that the balance amount of Rs162 will be credited in 8 hours. This was not done and then on calling airtel i was told by your Senior Supervisor Mr. Arun, that this service is not available, Rs333 recharge is not available through the internet recharge. Again when i called Airtel i was told by your Senior Supervisor Mr. Dheeraj that the amount will be credited in 4 hours (complaint id [protected], 10:16am 19-04-08).

I just want to know how foolish do you think your customers are? Is arun giving me the right information? if not, then what assurance is there that when a customer calls airtel he/she is receiving the right information?

although i know this mail is one of the plenty mails you receive, i would still appreciate if this mail is replied. thank you

i had got 2 yr advance rental plan postpaid plan on no.[protected]

we had requested for its disconnection 1 month before the period was suppose to end
for 1 month they pass the buck , by saying that our head/senior will call u for confirmation and their was no action for the another 2 months (in b/w we called 40-50 times either they hangout for long on phone or say we will call u soon )
they renewed our plan by themself ,and started adding late payment charges
when we complaint why they are doing so ?
they said we had talked to someone at your home and he had agreed to the plan offered by us (see how sticky they are)
On our complaining again and again that why you are adding from your side that we had requested for renewing the plan, they said no its not possible you had requested for that
we cant do any help regarding that ,they send a legal notice ,my father being a service people dont want to indulge in all this so paid an amt of 600 approx.so that matter ends
after 7 months there advocate called and send you are suppose to give 1000 rs to airtel we asked why they said we had issued a legal order and if we dont pay by today we will have to pay its 4 times in court ,we were forced to give that to because they declared deadline by today even though no notice was recieved by us but due to pressur at work at that time ,my father had given that amt

My mobile no. is getting daily SMS from airtelworld.com/wap that you r been renewed for ultimate criket world cup subscriptiongclub.in. and you are charged Rs.10 daily. I have complained many times to customer executive but everytime new person talk to me but nothing is done till date. I want the extra charges to be reverted. as i try to connect from my mobile to the site to cancel it from my cell, they say u have no GPRS activation. If i am not having activated for GPRS how come they are charging me for downloading the games and daily 10 Rs. for renewal. I want immediate action otherwise i will go to cunsumer court. my no. I had bought unlimited plan of Mobile Office for 401 Rs. at 23rd January 2010. Since 1st February, I am getting charged 30 paisa/50 KB from main balance. I have talked to their customer care center for about 6 times, every time they say problem will be resolved in 48 hours. My cell phone setting are fine, as I use MO since last 4 months or so.
I even had talked to Nodal officer, who said that problem will be resolved on or before 8th February. It's 13th February now, and when I try to call Nodal Officer, I always hear a voice saying that the officer is busy attending other call. How come that happen all the time during the day? Also, as balance is reduced even when we hear such recorded message, which only discourages a customer from calling Nodal Officer again and again.

So, I conclude that they won't refund my money, and they are apparently now able to fix the problem. I am scammed for at least 300 Rs. and have lost a lot of time talking to customer care etc.

I shifted from prepaid to postpaid in the month of Oct 10.I had taken the Rs 249 plan and Airtel had provided 200 free sms, 600mts free to local gsm and when my bill came I was charged even though I had not exceeded the limit.On communicating with them they came up with only ### and bull stories.Thank God number portability came and I finally ported out of the Airtel work on March 1st 2011 to BSNL.I have been using BSNL Prepaid and am really happy with their service and it has really led to savings in money by using their BSNL Mitra where 5 numbers to whom i register and call am being charged at a concessional rate.
One of my relatives who had Airtel prepaid got Rs 200/-knocked off in Feb 11 without any reason.A total of 6 connections of Airtel of my relatives have migrated to BSNL and have informed Airtel that I would never want to deal with any product of theirs in future.

we have taken a plan of Rs 399/-...but without referring us you have changed the plan i.e. Rs599/-
but we request to cancel this plan of Rs599/-and activate the previous plan that is of Rs 399/-...
so we hope that you'll surely take an action regarding your misconception...and also make a correction in the bill which was charged from 17/April/11 to 16/May/11

1 was using a post paid connection bearing no [protected] i have been your
customer from past 5 yrs and have been paying huge bills from a long time, As the
situation got bad i lost my job 8months back and was enable to pay the bill and
a pending amount of Rs.8000.00 is balance which airtel claim is 10, 600.00. sometimes 15000

The problem is from past 3 months your airtel collection department
is harassing my family member and friends with threatening calls stating that
they would disconnect there numbers and abusing my mother sister and wife
time and again, they use very foul language to the ladies and others too...i
was ready to pay 3 months ago itself but the executives activities has made me
not pay due there rowdyism talks and shameful behavior .i have
also complained to the customer care endlessly but nothing has happen

Yesterday ie...25-05-10 at least 20 of my friends and family received
calls threatening to disconnect there connection...my wife who is innocent
receives 20 calls from male and female executives at even nights with abusing
talks.they even told my wife that "your husband is ### and thinks
more worse than that ...they told my mother to beg on the streets and pay my
bill..they threatened me that they would even break my legs and take the money
out.thats horrible shame on airtel.

Tell me does a human does not have any value if he does not have
money...even the the executives have harassed my sister for the same.

Does your team do not have the decency to behave ...and more than tht i am
available in my residence always and not absconding anywhere.they never call me
instead are accesing my call data and calling everyone

Today i am thinking of giving a Police complaint and approach consumer court
for the same please let me know what i need to do now its not about money its
about self respect.

I have got 2 connections of airtel and i was promised that i will be getting good network. But the network was so bad that when i tried to complain them while i was in my house then the number would not get connected at all. I had to leave the comforts of my house and try to reach them. All the outgoing calls, i had to go out and make calls. Now, for incoming calls, i had no specified time such that i go out and hold my cell phone in air for it to receive the signal. Not that i stay in some remote location. I stay very much in Thane city and have been using vodafone network and reliance network with no problem.

At the time of connection, i had paid 500 rs deposit for each connection. When i got my first bill, i complained to them saying, i have bad network and i will not make the payments till i get proper network. They said, they knew the problem and that they are working on it. They requested me to pay for the phone calls i have made and not pay the rent. This was repeated for couple of more months.

But now i am tired of this phone service. Infact i have to provide service to airtel by leaning out of my window and talking to people and risking my life. The so called free incoming calls never reach me and my friends complain saying you are never reachable. And i say, its not me, its Airtel that is never reachable.

Having said all this, i want Airtel to refund my deposit of 1000 rs (500 rs each connection). They want me to pay the bill that i have received which i dont agree to pay at all. They are asking me to pay for the calls that i have made. Who will compensate for the incoming calls that were free to me but i could never get any of them. Who will compensate for the pain that i have gone through when trying to reach my dear ones (remember the leaning out of window act).

Having said all this, i would appreciate if airtel tries to improve the service rather than fighting with me on petty amounts which i will never pay to them and instead refund me the money that i have paid to them as i can never ever think of continuing to use this service which has traumatized me to this extent.

one prepaid mobile bearing No. [protected] was purchased by me from local retailer, furnishing required documents as sought by him. My SIM activated and after 2 days, message received by me to provide with documents. After discussions with the retailer, I furnished the same. My mobile deactivated after a few days. On inquiry with the retailer, he requested me to furnish the documents again and I did so. My mobile not yet activated since last about three months. I am totally frustrated with the service of Airtel. But due to the reason that it has got advantage of network in remote country area, I have no option but to opt for Airtel. Please help me activate my SIM.

i am holding a airtel pre paid connection. mY TELE NUMBER IS [protected].
on 17 Oct 07 i recd a message from 6782 of airtel thanking me for downloading hello tune "Rock N Roll Soniye" and Rs. 21/- was deducted from my acount. I had never requested for this. Since 17 Oct 07 i have been trying to complaint through Airtel's call centre. but the response from the centre was atrocious.
Not withstanding this i had sent a SMS to the customer care centre. For this got a reply that iwould be contacted within 24 Hrs. Till date no response reseived frm them.
At this i would like to complaint that my hello tune may be cancelled and my money be refunded and i may be compensated for all the mental agont and time waste.
This complaint i am making after a very dismal and awful action from the Airtel call centre.

I took a Airtel pre-paid connection 40 days back and it was activated the day 2nd. But from past 2 weeks my connection has been disconnected stating that I have not submitted my documents. However I already submitted the complete documents on day one to the respective shop and when enquired by the dealer, I got to know that it has been submitted on 3-July-2010 and serial No is 18.when I called customer care, they said we have not received the documents.

I don’t know what is going on? why after 1 month they have disconnected by connection. When I gave the documents to the shop owner, then only he activated the Sim.

i want immediate action, otherwise I will take a legal action against you people. At any cost I will not re-submit the documents again as I have given the documents with signature and photo.

My name is A.RAVIKUMAR I am the one of the airtel customer. My number is [protected].
Continuously I am having problem with this airtel network. I have been charged 20rs on last week when a called customer care on198 they told for using internet u have been charged. But I dint used internet on my phone. They accepted the mistake and they credited 20rs on my amount. Once again after five days I have been charged again on may3rd morning. I just called 198 they told money will be credited on ur account. But they failed to do it. After that they dint attending my call and I have tried from three airtel numbers but they are not all attending call more than one time. The how I can get my money. Airtel customer care not all replying well.
I made a complaint in airtel show room near abirami theatre in purusawalkam. They told that money will be credited on or before may9th. Yesterday may 5th I made easy recharge with 50 rs. I had a balance of 39rs on my account on that day night. Again on 6th morning they charged 20rs. After then I called customer care but there is no reply from them.

I do not have internet in my mobile...Airtel live is not active... i never subscribed to yahoo zone... Air tel gives me yahoo zone(they mention so in the sms which they send) which i have never seen on my mobile...when ever i try to open the URL it always says -Error. retry...yahoo zone is never available, yet Rs.10 is added to my bill every week for the past 4 months...how do i unsubscribe?even when i try opening the URL given by airtel to unsubscribe it says 'retry'...My mobile no. is [protected]. It is a Samsung mobile which has the facilities to surf the net... it is not a problem of signal...the bars are always full...please help me out...

Please to inform you that i have an airtel number in kerala ([protected]) i used to use while travelling abroad (international roaming) to dubai. However before i leave kerala there was balance INR 450/- and while i reach uae, i am not able to receive any calls or either messages. When i checked my balance it shows only INR 50/-. Kindly advice me a solution to rectify the above problem. Please reply to thahsheer@gmail.com.

I bought Airtel prepaid card which worked only for few days and I receive a message that your number will be discontinued due to not submition of documents.

I have informed the vendor and submitted the documents 3 times but every time the phone got activated for couple of days and again was discontinued.

finally I approached Airtel outlet in Vashi where I was informed that your sim is not usable as documents did not reach Airtel office. I lost 100 Rs. which was in my card and they chaged me extra Rs 100 for new sim. I again submitted the papers which they verified and assured me that this will be activated in 3-4 days. Now its more than 15 days and still the number is not activated.

I have called numerous time to Airtel outlet but they just give silly reasons every time above that most of the time they just cut the phone. Its very rood to receive such service from Airtel.

I expect them to tell me the reason for this number not getting activated which never happens.

I am with airtel from about 5 years and changed my plan from postpaid to prepaid card and then my bad days started as a customer airtel launched MCHEK ON MOBILE... for customers i downloaded the software and then used it once made recharge of 220 rs as there was a offer for full talktime means i will get 220 rs credited in my prepaid account but in a minute money was debited from icici bank acc which was good but the money credited to my prepaid acc was rs 50... i called cust services in a healthy manner on 22 august but i was provided a date that will recieve a call back on 4 days after means 25 aug ... no calls recvd From Airtel... i called in again then was transfered to cust care executive who was really rude instead of helping me was tryin to just finish the call... i hung up the called in again there were several of cust care executives whom i have word with and they provided with different resolutions and then finally i asked for a manager there instead i was transferred to a different person and then the same result... he advised to go to the nearest airtel outlet... i mean what kind of sense it makes if everybody goes on there outlet it was really disgusting to call in cust services jaipur and simply a waste of time...

On 27.03.11 between 9am-11.30am rs 215 has been debited from account of my cell no [protected] for no services. same day i have contacted superviser customer care, but i have not been given complain no., though i was assured to look into the matter by 31.3.11, no action was taken. Again i contacted on 2.04.11, I was asked to contact on 121 when i dialled 198 and on 198 when i called up 121 which was done 12 times. i request to general concern to be aware of this cell company.

Airtel has been continuously debiting money from my prepaid account for some unwanted jobs provider service since 16th Sept 2009. No use of any do not disturb frantic efforts.

On 14th Sept i got a message stating that i will be getting some 2 day free trial of jobs on mobile, i did not pay much attention to it considering it as usual promo messages.

On 16 th Sept, I got another message metioning that my trial of 2 days is over and i am supposed to call some number to de-activate the service. As I did not apply for any activation and even did not avail the service in any manner, I was sure that nobody can cut my money just like that! without my concent!

But alas, after 15 minutes i got another message saying that I was registered with Jobs on Mobile and I checked and found that even 10 Rs for 10 days they have debitted from my account.

DND WAS OF NO USE.

Now it has become a big headache for me as there is no mention in the SMS that where to contact to unsubscribe the service and how?

THEY HAVE FURTHER CUT MY 10 RS. AGAIN TODAY ON 26TH SEPT. 2009. AND THIS WILL CONTINUE...!

how do i stop these theifs from looting me in this way for 10Rs per 10 days?

Please HELP!

[protected], i am prepaid customer of airtel past 8 - 9 years onwards, i dont know what you mean by java games, airtel live, etc past three month onwards i dont why they deducting amount from my account. . . Whenever i recharge my card its gives the message " thank you for downloading java games, etc you have been charged rupees" unnumber of times i complaints why the amount deducting from account. . . There was no answer, they promise tomorrow at 1330hrs my executive will call you, kindly explain to him. . . Till date no executive call me. & call centre girls smiles at my problem,. . . I was planning to quit airtel. . . Due to bad service, what should i have to do. . . ?

I had been using a prepaid connection number [protected] of airtel since last 4-5 years, On the 16th September 2009, I goth the sim card reissued since my old card got misplaced. At the same time Rs.333.00 e-recharge was also done to my number. After all these I made calls to few numbers. Suddenly the network went off and the customer care officer told me its a technical snag, the issue would be solved in a couple of hours. Finally nothing happened and I went personally to the teleshop, they say the number has been removed from the system and I cannot use the number anymore. They refuse to refund the Rs.333.00 and also not assisting to take up the matter to senior level. I have distributed this number to all over the globe to all my business associates.
Please help me to get out of this trap, many more customer had thronged the Airtel's showroom facing the same kind of fraud.

1-Purchased a Airtel prepaid sim card on 10.01.11
2-I have submitted all the necessary documents on 10.01.11.
3-My sevices got disconnected on 30.01.11 and my service provider has asked me to submit all the documents again.
4-I had to submit all the documents on 08.02.11 for the second time.
5-My services remain disconnected on 09.02.11 & 10.02.11 .

I have been harassed by the service provider and for which i want to complain
