Booking [protected] for Hongkong last April 4-8 I am very very disappointed on you agoda and HK hostel 3/F Chungking Mansion. I don't know who's fault is it but I booked my hotel advance so that I'll have a place to stay and that it's already settled. I booked and used my credit card, agoda sent me a confirmation and so I thought it was okay since I've been using agoda everytime I travel. When I arrived at HK hostel they told me that I did not have any reservation because they can't use my card?! Why they only told me this now that I'm already in hongkong? They should have email me ahead of time so I can find another hotel! Agoda only sent me an email that the hotel can't use my card the same day I arrived in HK hostel? How can I still find other hotel? Everything was a disaster! No coordination at all! Everyday I have to look for any vacant room within the area because I do not have my reservation! Not only that all hotels were Fullybooked but all of them offered so high amount for one night! Their reason is last minute booking! Which is clearly not my fault! Instead of having fun on my supposedly vacation I have to look for a night to stay at 11:00pm! Because HK hostel told me to come back at 11pm because there might be cancelled reservation which I can take. This is traumatic agoda, I am very disappointed no one let me know ahead of time that my reservation was not guaranteed. That they can't be honored! So much hassle and stress looking for accommodation. I can not trust agoda and HK hostel anymore. This is not the service I expected. I hope you check the hotels in your website if they really deserve your trust, because honestly this is unacceptable. The guy from reception even get angry with us and shouted a lot of times because we don't want to pay higher amount for the room because the money/budget I have is only enough on my reservation, now he's saying because they can't use my card I don't have a reservation so instead he's offering me a very expensive one?! This is a SCAM! We even saw other tourist with the same situation like us and sleep on the hallway floor! You're losing clients because of this!

I booked online for OYO 5879 Radha Damodar Residency for June 22, 2019 Departure: June 23, 2019, they informed that
"We are sorry to inform you that your property, OYO 5879 Radha Damodar Residency, has advised us that they are unable to accommodate your booking as their contract has already expired with Agoda.com. As such, we would like to offer you an alternative property with no additional cost or, If the alternative property has a cheaper rate, Agoda shall honor the lower price."
I had to suffer loss of 2000 INR as I booked hotel in advance to enjoy holidays to get benefit of lower prices nbut agoda cancelled the booking as their contract got expired with the hotel.

I booked to stay in a guesthouse through agoda and they offered late check in. As I booked it (2 months before the date) I informed them I would be arriving at 2am. As 2am got close i realiaed my transport was late and i sent a message to the property to inform them i would arrive at 3am instead. I got a taxi straight there from the bus terminal as I had been travelling for 37 hours and was exhausted, I just wanted to sleep.
When I arrived at the accomodation there was a sign on the door saying if checking in late please call this number. I spent 30 minutes trying to call that number, the property number on agodas app and their number on Google and knocking on the door to no answer. I resorted to calling agoda, and the lady on the phone was not only unhelpful but made me extremely upset as after an hour on the phone she confirmed that there's nothing can be done I would have to walk around a city I didn't know at 3am by myself (female) to find alternative accommodation. I was very against this as i had all my belongings with me and it was now 4am and i did not want to be walking around by myself in the dark. But i had no other option because the agoda agent said they couldnt book me in anywhere else. So i gave in and started walking, I walked for 1 and a half hours, i found 2 hotels open but they were fully booked because it is songkran in Thailand and neither would let me sit in their reception area until day light. My safety was put at risk and I'm disgusted with how agoda treated me. Telling a scared person that they have to spend the night on the street, which i eventially had to do.
At 1pm I was able to check into a hostle, 10 hours after arriving in Chiang Mai. I had been forced to stay on the streets with out sleep, unprotected from the elements resulting in me having hundreds of bites all over my body.
It was a night from hell, thankfully nothing else happened to me while I spent a night on the street but due to extream lack of sleep and constant anxiety for a long time period i am now very sick and in a lot of discomfort from bites, and joint pain due to lying on concrete as I was too tired to stay sitting up.
Once I managed to get to a bed at 1pm I passed out with complete exhaustion and slept the rest of the day. It is now 13th and I have already lost 1 day of my planned holiday and wonder how much more I'll be unable to do due to the consequences of that night.
I am utterly disgusted by the way agoda treated me and how they knowingly put my safety in danger.
hotel doesn't allow to check-in
Hello concern, I booked two rooms for two days 3 april 2019 to 5 april 2019, my booking id is [protected], i paid cash through online. INR 2, 582.52, but hotel doesn't allow to check out. the hotel have no tie up this agoda.com.
I contact so many times in agoda customer care, they are tell as hotel not receive the payment voucher
But the executive doesn't assure the refund my amount.

I booked hotel thru Agoda site in January.
Now in April before checking in Agoda charged our credit card for this booking.
At the moment of booking price of the accommodation was 1.403 GBP, and now they charged me 1.477 GBP.
I complained to customer service, and they told me it was due to excange rate.
I understand exchange rates, but 5% is really very high.
They are seling at one price and charging much higher one! Never booking with them ever again. Agoda = Fraud!

I am. So astonished fo find out about the cancellation of my reservation under the circumstances in which I did not asked xor it especialg taking into account that I choosd the non reimbursabe options for the reservation. Please note that I do not accept this dirty situation and I urge you to undertake all the necessary. Procedures in order to recover my reservation. On contrary I will uze the legal opportunities in order to solve this unacceptable situation. I do not agree at all to be cashed from my father s credit card for a unbelivebel reason moreover that I did not canxeled my reaervation. The confirmations from afoda are saved in my phone. As well are my e mails. If I wanted to choose a reservation for a room which had the options to cancel fhe reservation in 2 od 3 days I would have chosen it. But instead I choose the non reimbursement option because I am sure that I want that reservatio for the period of my stay in brussels. Taking info account the above mentioned, I am asking you to takr all the neccesary measures so that on the 8th of april when I ll get at royal hotel brussels to have the possibility to check in. Call ref 1745pm 4 Apr 2019. The person named Farah not friendly & uninterested.

wrong & arbitrary cancellation of booking
My booking id was 351259177After few (2-3)minutes of my booking my booking was cancelled without my request & Moreover Rs 2800/-Appox deducted. BOOKING DATE WAS AFTER 7 days
What is this & I have to rebook again with More money.
This is not expected from Website like yours.

request for refund of my money against cancellation

On 31-March I have booked via agoda.com website room at Travelodge by Wyndham Downtown Chicago USA for 11 nights b;/w 14-May to 24-May 2019. But, few hours after my booking I found out that due to unforeseen circumstances have to cancel by US trip. So, I cancelled the hotel booking on 1-April 2019. A few minutes later I received a cancellation notice stating that my booking has been cancelled by their system but my money will not be refunded.
So, I sent an email to agoda.com, but unable to reach their customer service either online or via telephone. Since I have not used the hotel's services, I kindly request that my cancellation request is considered and money be refunded.

When we arrived no one at the hotel to accept us, we pressed the bell, buzzed the car try to get hotel's attention for more than 30mins, but nothing except the dog barking. We also tried to call the hotel number, customer service numbers on the confirmation email you sent to me, but no responds and saying it's unavailable. we didn't stay in the hotel and had to change other hotels nearby and pay by ourselves. On the next day I tried to go back this hotel to figure out what's wrong, they said they didn't receive any confirmation from you and will contact you to refund to us. But as of now no refund more than SIX MONTHS passed, it's the worst service!

This is the 1st time I ever made a review, and I decided that this experience I should share with everyone before they make any booking with Agoda. I made a reservation online at Agoda website and select the correct date and number of rooms that i wanted correctly. When i clicked the somehow, the system automatically change the date 1 day earlier to check in and 1 day earlier to check out. I made the 2nd time change to the correct date and then submit the reservation, without knowing, when the transaction submitted, and when i received the email confirmation, I notice the date was wrong. I called Agoda to made the amendment to the correct date immediately and explained to them. They said, my booking is non callable, non refundable. I told them, I did not asked for cancel or refund. but amendment to the correct date. but they said the hotel policy is very strict. I called the hotel. And the hotel explained to me that we can simply call Agoda to change the date. The hotel can not do it, because it is a third party website. Then I called back and try to explain to Agoda what hotel has told me. I spoke with 5 different customer representative at Agoda. No one is willing to help and change. i manage to duplicate the glitch at their website and video the transaction and sent it to them. I even use different computer, and manage to duplicate the glitch that they have. But yet very disappointing, they still refuse to amend my date. How I wished i did not buy from them at the 1st time and checked their review before i do transaction with them. I am totally agree with one of the review. "Please avoid Agoda Hotels at all costs, their integrity, customer support and compensation is terrible." If i could even give them minus stars.

We prepaid the reservation no.[protected] (two, three, zero, seven, three, one, eight, six, seven) but when we arrived there was no room for us! They double booked our room even though they knew we are coming cause we were emailing with them. First night was terrible we were tired, hungry. They wanted to give us room in another place which was dirty, lonely, scary and wiith one bed only. We were three adults. We said we cant stay there so they started calling other hotels until they took us to another hotel with room with two beds. We were so pissed of, tired and hungry so we stayed there one night. The next day they said we will get our room. We went with our luggage all the way to their hotel, got the room. But there was no hot water. We called eduardo and sms him but he didnt answer us. The next morning we told the cleaning guy that there is no hot water. He said he will fix it. But he didnt! At the evening we again didnt have hot water! We called eduardo and what he had to tell us was "thank you for your information". We were shocked. The next morning we left already. There were no hot water all our stay for us * persons. The servise there was terrible. There is no one to answer you. They lied to us all the time. They only care about the money and after they dont care about us. This place was the terrible place we have been in ever. We ask you to get a refund off all our money back! Don't pay this hotel. They are dishonost people whi treated us terrible!

I arrived at the Istanköy Hotel, Bodrum at 9pm last night, (19th March 2019), after having to leave the previous hotel, only to find that when I went for a shower at 4am there was no hot water at all. I went down to Reception and discovered that the problem was known to the hotel, yet the room was still allocated to me. It is totally unacceptable to be given a room and paying 220 Lira and have no hot water. I require a total refund.
I talked with the hotel manager on the phone and he told me he could not give me a refund because I paid Agoda, not them. He suggested I contact you to request the refund. I am doing that now. Please provide a full refund.
I also had a terrible experience in the previous hotel. So much so as I had to leave without a refund from there either.

As said above, I had to leave the first hotel I booked in to last night as it was completely unsuitable - Dirty, hair on bedsheets, stains on sheets, not even a shampoo, internet unusable, and building materials all around the place. Man at desk totally accommodating.
I have now paid for two different hotels through Agoda.com for one night's stay here in Bodrum.
There has to be a minimum standard when I book a hotel. Neither hotel provided that.
Please arrange for a total refund from both hotels. I am very upset with what has happened.
I don't understand why Agoda.com allow such a low standard of accomodation to be advertised on their site. I am deeply disappointed with both of the above bookings.

unwelcome and chasing to cancel booking
I have booked 1 room to check in on 22 Mar 2019 at The palm beach front. I received booking confirmation and booking number by email since 28 Feb 2019 from Agoda under [protected] .
Yesterday 16 Mar, I got email from an owner room at this condo she wants me to pay within 13.00 on 17 Mar. I found account number is wrong. I cannot transfer to hers.
I replied her to retype the correct one but she answered as below:-
"Reply to this message sorry, this is apartment. it's illegal to stay here for one day. we only accepted 30 day reservation. pls cancel !" chasing me to cancel ?
I quiet hard to find the new accommodation for my trip on this Friday.
There is no declaration to stay over 30 nights in the website.
I unexpected to face this matter and need some explanations about this.

I've cancelled a booking that I paid by agoda cash before but agoda just paid me the amount less than what I paid.I asked them by email, they said my agoda cash RM400++ already expired and will not be refund.How can I remember the expired date of my agoda cash? I already used all the agoda cash that I have to booking this hotel and I read all the refund policy, only have the refund amount will be direct credit to my card...

Booking hotel room. Booked late on wednesday february 27th 2019. Ended up finishing after midnight as such it ended up finishing on february 28th. Booked an accessible room and didn't get it on the confirmation. Tried to cancel, but I would have to forfeit one nights stay even though it was less than 24hrs before the room would be available to move in to. Went to the actual hotel web site to insure the accessible rooms were available and discovered a lower rate and they were available. Best price guarantee claim form locked up my computer three times that night (actually early morning) and again the monday after my stay. Used my iphone and made the claim, but not it's too late according to their policies. Will not ever use this service again!
trying to scam a payment out of my credit card?
Agoda canceled my booking right before my flight, completely unprofessional. Their cancellation email said:
"Your credit card will not be charged."
Coincidentally 10 minutes later I received a notification from my bank app that my credit was charged by Agoda. I contact their support and they said they'll submit a refund request and I'll be processed in 30 days. That raised my scam alarm bells. They then send me an email saying I'm getting a refund and also I'm not getting a refund. Both statements .. in the same email:
"We're happy to notify you that we've processed your request for a refund"
"This booking is non-Refundable"
I contacted my bank and they told me to file a reconciliation against the charge if I don't receive the refund. Imagine that a certain percentage of rich users don't check their credit card charges.

I wrongly booked a hotel (booking no. [protected]) and immediately realized my wrong dates (one week late) and wanted to change the date, but your description showed only to cancel my booking first for the next booking and I did so (booking no. [protected]). Yet, my previous wrong booking is charged to my credit card. I feel very sad and your way of doing business unfair. I strongly hope my wrong booking is to be wavered and no cancellation charge be imposed.

On arrival at the hotel one of the two rooms had been canceled without my knowledge by Agoda, I phonrd Agoda and was asked to pay for a room diect to the hotel which I did and I was reimbursed the money I payed on my card for the room. I received an email on 21st January 2019 stating I would be charged £587.20 for my booking, but since this booking is a "Book Now Pat Later" reservation, I will be charged £688.48 due to the fluctuation of the exchange rate, an increace of £101.28. I asked what was the exchange rates were when I booked and when I payed, I received an email on 8th February 2019 stating when I booked on 12th April 2018 the exchange rate at that time was (0.7051) and at the time I was charged 4th January 2019 the rate was (0.8268) a difference of (0.1629) Please could you explaine why the £101.28 increace due to the exchange rate, when the exchange rate was only (0.1629) more than when I booked, I feel if the mistake of the cancellation of a room had not occurred I would have payed a little more because of the exchange rate but not £101.28 Thank-you
