ACT Broadband Adamant & arrogant business company

I had taken ACT Broad Band (6M+1m) with Bundle Channels about 2 1/2 years ago. As the bundle business was not satisfactory, I omitted Bundle Channels when renewing. ACT Broadband ACT Fibrenet not installing new connection wven after placing repeated requests

I've been trying to get ACT Fibrenet at my place for the last 10 days but I got message from ACT saying that they are not available me in my area even though 90 per cent of the users in my apartment are using ACT Fibrenet. To know the real reason behind not installing a new connection in our apartment we spoke to one if the ACT Fibrenet installation guys directly and he told us that the building association wants them to put the external wiring a little neatly instead just putting it anywhere which will take them some additional time to install the new connection as compared to the original time. Hence, they are not interested in installing the new connection and have reported back to the call centre that there is connection/ ports available in our area. If ACT is not interested in increasing their user Base what are they in the business for? Unbelievable apathy and behaviour on part of all ACT executives and there is no action from the company's end.

ACT Broadband Severe lack of service. Nearly NO SERVICE at all even after full payment. Cheated by ACT.

My ACT User ID is 1298888. I am writing this review with extreme frustration regarding the quality of service provided to me by ACT. I have taken a new connection 2 month back at Jakkasandra, Koramangala 1st block. I had even opted for the annual subscription. However within 1 month, my connection has been terminated. The reason cited by ACT was that the junction box for my connection was malfunctioning. They wanted to install a new box at my building but it is not possible since I am the tenant in the building and the owner is not an ACT user himself and is not allowing the box installation. I have no control on owner's personal decision. Most of my neighbors are also using ACT broadband and there are surely other junction box in my area. I have been requesting the ACT personnel to pull my connection from another junction box in the area. I have been calling ACT every day for more than 2weeks. Every day they are confirming they will send someone that day only. But no one is coming to visit. Sometimes one technician calls saying he will visit in an hour. But no one comes. When I call them back, they just disconnect the phone and doesn’t answer. One technician even shouted back at me saying he is busy in another site. I am spending the entire day everyday waiting for them, canceling my other work just for them. Whenever I call the customer care every day, they behave very politely and give loads of commitment since those calls are recorded by the company. But I don't ever hear from them any further. Suddenly one day evening a technician arrives and fixes a new line and restores my connection. I thought my fight for broadband service is over but I couldn’t be more wrong! To my shock, next day morning, I found that the connection is no more functional and it says "No Internet connection". That day an ACT personnel came to collect the monthly charges + reconnection fee in cash. They said it has been disconnected due to my payment pending and will be instantly activated after payment. I gave them instantly. However, as I am writing this review, 5 days have passed since then but the connection never came back. I called them up numerous times. Now they came up with a new theory that there has been a cable problem in my connection and will be restored in few days. Needless to say, they are shamelessly closing my service request from their system every time I reopen it but not a bit of the problem has been resolved. I do not even receive any calls from the technician. I have even escalated the issue with the ACT appellate and the Nodal Officer through mail but to no use. All I got were nice words and loads of promises. I got no resolution for the issue faced by me. I have paid the money for monthly fee but have not got the service even for one day.

ACT Broadband ACT worst broadband

It should be "Useless Connectivity @ HIGH COST"

I wonder how the speed gets better when I call cust care and raise a complaint! ACT is a big fraud, they commit big deals

before taking connection and once u pay for 6 months, ur money will be locked and ACT will make u dance to their tunes! Even

if connection is down for a week they wont bother as its a pre-paid connection and act got the money!

If u raise ur voice, raise complaints they would just close it without addressing it!

There is no provision to pay on-line for ACT BB.payment gateway doesn’t work! ACT has made it mandatory to pay for every

pick up cheque! My question is when there is no provision to pay online y shud customers pay for cheque pick up?

ACT bb is a nuisance in the city trying its best to fool ppl! beware of this fraud!

ACCT bb doesnt have an option to make online payment? and

I have asked ACT to cancel my connection and return my deposit of Rs 1000 back! But to my surprise, ACT says I need to pay

de-activation charges of Rs 996 .Strange that ACT is asking for disconnection charges, for what reason no one is ready to

explain me.Even the nodal officer is an real

idiot who claims I need to make this payment to disconnect the connection.

I have experienced horrible harassment by ACT bb all ppl involved with ACT have been liers including nodal officers!

If any one finds one genuine person who does tell u truth who belongs to ACT I am ready to pay money!i am so sure about

ACT.Its a cheap mentality

BB service which is there only to loot money from people and escape.Marketing agents are frauds they take money with lots of

promises and make you pay for 6 months advance rental and never turn back!

ACT is total waste of money and time!

ACT IS HARASSMENT AT HIGH COST.U R HARASSed @ HIGH sPEEDS!

ACT Fibrenet is not working. Calling to their customer service number is time-consuming and no response. Service is not available for over 36 hours (12th & 13th Sep 25) in Gachibowli area and no response. Also the bandwidth I pay for and what they deliver is less. Possibly a fraud for getting more money from customer and under-deliver.

Even I am facing the problem since yday evenign 4pm and even after repeated calls, until now they have not done anything about this. I had an important call yday night at 7:30pm - even after explaining the same they took no action. Today morning as well, called up and they said the technician would call up but until now there are no calls. ACT is the only servcie provider who takes money in advance even before we use the service and such hopeless behavior. Really disgusted at this point in time.
