Ackermans Ackerman's stores

I bought a router an a phone the guy at govan mbeki didn't tell me I had only seven days to return the router it did not check the slip I'm too busy serving my country in the defence force worse he never Rica the routers sim but he said it was it's a lie the phone I bought at walmer park I said Ackerman's is a chain store he said the stores have different policies I went to walmer park sales lady said the mangers busy I went back after a half an hour she completely ignored me was nice to other customers but was catish irritable annoyed for what reason she was rude I told her what happend in town she told me to ring his manager an fight with him I said for what reason she said she can't exchange the phone she first said she will assist the other people standing there I said I don't have a problem she seemed racial as well because she was talking nicely to others an she was irritable with me even if she couldn't change the phone the service at your stores are appalling I have a friend at sabc maybe they should expose this I don't have a problem an the sandf members why should they go to such rude people they can say what they want but I did nothing wrong I will not bother including my friends an people I know to go there to the stores the service is appalling from Claudia [protected]

Ackermans Card replacement

Good day

My purse was stolen on Monday 8 February 2021. I went to Ackermans Carnival Mall and I was told that I can't get a card replacement without an I.D. I told them my I. D was stolen along with my purse.

They said I could use my Passport. I produced a passport and then was told they can't accept a Passport as proof. It's a valid form of identification.

I can only apply for an I.D. when we reach level 1. I have no idea when that will be.

I would like to continue with Ackermans. I can't pay without a card which i'm being refused.

Ackermans Staff Member Rudeness

I would like to complain about a lady named Gugu at Ackermans Ballito Junction. I went there asking for help with purchasing a cellphone. After waiting for a while, she was called to assist me. On her way to me I could hear her complaining she is busy why is she being called. Her colleague at the till explained there is a customer who needs help at the cellphone counter. She rudely approaches me to ask what do I want and I politely responded that I was interested in buying a cellphone. She then responds to say well you can see the phones so look at them as I can't open the cabinet, there is covid and she walks away. This behaviour is unacceptable and the worst is even the staff at the till were complaining about her rudeness as a person. I'm sorry but customer service etiquette ia important and this type of behaviour should not be happening. I would suggest she is dealt to avoid another incident of this nature. We cannot allow such individuals to get away with attitude and disrespect in their workplace and let it be unattended. I trust this will receive urgent attention required. Ackermans Product I bought - towel

I bought a towel on the 21st December2020 in mams mall for R155. I only stated using it on the 25th December. Later that day i realised it was pulling off. Few day later I went to the store to complaint. The manager gave me attitude and blamed me for the towel not to be in good condition. I even explained that it was not even washed . Assist me

Ackermans Poor service and unfair practice

I purchased two pairs of boxers for my 18 months old son 2 days ago from Ackermans Cavendish Square branch. Yesterday I decided to let him try them on, but the boxers did not fit. He weighs 18kg which is why I selected size 2 - 3 at the store. I returned the items this morning; the store did not accept the items because it is their store policy not to accept boxers even though they are brand new and were bought for 18 months old who is on dippers. My question was, "why was I not informed of this when I purchased the items two days ago?" when I asked this question, the supervisor and the cashier showed me a print at the back of the receipt. Why did anyone not show me this print when I purchased the items and why is something so important as this at the back of the receipt? I am a single mother who is solely dependent on one income due to lock down, I am now sitting with two pairs of boxers that I have no use of. Your service is pathetic, and I will take this to social media to alert consumers about the special terms and conditions that you have at the back of your receipt which nobody never explains to consumers. What makes this even worse is the fact that, sales consultant from your store assisted me to select these items and I explained to her that my son is big, and she suggested size 2 to 3 years. At this stage I should have been informed about your policy. At the till-point I should have also been informed about this policy.

Ackermans Application feed back

Gud day my name is Ivan Niewenhuys I'm really disappointed regarding an application that I fill in at Ackerman's on da 1st December and is still waiting on a feedback I went to Ackerman's store several times just hearing my application is still in process but so long I used my airtime to phone them ran out of airtime but they don't even consider calling back and that's very poor service

Ackermans Service

Ackermans Ulundi please if this is a mistake try to rectify it. On entrance door they written that store openning hour are 08:00 to 15:00 but even time is 08:44 it not opened. They misleading us. Please rectify this mistake or change the openning hours slot.

I bought a mobicell from this store ackerman's workshop centtal durban¹. Store code 1214 the workshop centre Durban 4001
Address shop 75-76 workshop this shop allowed the hackers who follow me to clone the phones I buy every phone I bought from them it was cloned and to the hackers the manageress is involved which she allowed them to clone my phone and repacked as sealed when they scan the code doesn't scan on the computer tills have to punch the code bought 4th February 2031 gave for repairs 31st July received 10th of August 2021 repair I'd number [protected] IMEI number [protected] for 3 sims 9n the phone no internet connection phone went off completely was using universal charger ever since I bought had to use universal charger send again same problem service provider send message it's a f10 phone 3 sims no internet phone switched off completely resend on 29th September 2021 for repairs received on the recurved message 9th October 2021 picked up 15th October 2021

Ackermans Tag not removed

I went to Ackerman Mhluzi Mall to buy underwear and I was on my way to a weekend away when I get to my destination I realised the tag on the underwear was not taken off you can imagine being on my periods needed to change I felt so embarrassed and degraded had to see my way out such poor service and the sensors at the door didn't even go off. I would like to know what am I suppose to do with such and I have to drive back to the store because of someone who couldn't do their job and that means they dont check the sensors if they work or not at the store.

Ackermans Opening an account is one of the most distressing and lengthy procedures.

On 9 November 2020, the necessary documents had already been sent by e-mail as requested.

No acknowledgment was received but it was said that the whole procedure will take 3 working days.

This morning when I wanted to follow up, I was told by a "customer care consultant" that I was not the only client and that it had only been received this morning.

I know very well that I am not the only client, but have given enjoyable time before following up.

Ackermans Accounts department

Good Day,

I use to be an account holder at Ackermans but I closed my account 2 years ago.

I have been receiving calls from the Accounts department request me to pay my account after it has been closed 2 years ago.

At first they wanted me to pay R 60 now they expecting me to pay R 200.

Clearly someone at Ackermans is not doing their Job because the account was never closed from the Boksburg branch and it is not my fault.

I will not be paying for something that I am not using and because people can't do their jobs properly.

I will be taking this further.

Can someone contact me regarding this?

Ackermans Bad service we got from the manager

As we where kindly helped by Betty with our purchasing, it happens that throughout the process the manager came from nowhere to insult n telling us how we don't respect the conduct covid 19 processes by not doing social distancing, as we already did the social because the was no customer at the til point that could hv forced us to move n wait at the stable while she was making a payment

She was very rude, she even instructed the cashier (Betty) to stop scanning out the clothes until the two of us left the til point... Her approach was totally out of control, her attitude does not deserve her being a manager at all if she is... We where forced leave the clothing worth R3000 n above not count the other items which where not scanned yet because of her bad attitude...

It happened that the next customers also did the same thing but they where not told that only 1person is needed at the til point

The incident happened today around 19:25 after we where at the store for more than an hour, purchasing clothing for our children's for Christmas

I'm so disappointed n I won't advice any of my family to come to such store that treats people like that... Ur feedback about such attitude Wil be truly appreciated

Ackermans Cellphone repair.

I bought a Cellphone in Rustenburg at Ackermans Safari Garden complex. After five weeks the phone break and I took it back for warranty repair Mr. Oemelenna Buru assist me to book it for repair he told me I can come and fetch it after ten days. He took the phone on the 12/10/2020 and today after the third time I went back to find out about my phone it is still in possesion of him it's not send away. I explain to him I need my phone for my work and I'm going to report this matter. He told me I can do what I want to nothing will happen to him. He must work on his attitude. This is absolutely unacceptable and gives Ackermans a bad name. My name is Bertus Boshoff my cell phone number is [protected]. I hope to hear soon from Ackermans and this problem will be settle.

Ackermans Account

I have a account with Ackermans and am I very dissapointed as is it now the second time this year that it is stated that my payment is overdue, but have I arranged since I have opened the account for debit order. I find this very unprofessional as it seems that I am a bad payer, I do not gwt feedback on my emails but keep recwiving messages that I do need to make a payment NOW. I need to go in store to arrange for a debit order all the time. The system definitely needs some improvement

Ackermans Bad service

I went to ackermans at gugulethu mall cape town to refund an item that was worth r89... They told me to wait for an hour because they don't have cash.. I waited saw people buying with cash after an hour I returned to the que they told me still they don't have cash... And they were not even polite infact they didn't care.. Mind you iam 9months pregnant.. And the mall don't have chairs I stood there for two hours because I came with a public transport.. After 2hours I went back home without being helped.. I left there feeiing like I did something wrong by wanting to refund. I am now stuck with something I am not happy with.

Ackermans Service

The service we receive is really pathetic. Someone is not doing the job properly. Calls comes in 4 to 5 times a day regarding payments that was made and then then to receive the same amount of calls the next day just to have to explain things all over again. The call center has no people skills.
Arrangements was put in place payments was made and I am still being hassled about payment made on the 1st October that you did not receive. Proof of payment (EFT) time 8:45 am sent to you twice. Tried my utmost best to pay you even though I lost my job in January and still have the audacity to ask me how much and where am I getting the money from. I am very disappointed in the service we have received through this whole lock down and pandemic.
