Clearly The worst experience I’ve ever had

Ordered my contact lenses on 06 August 2023 and despite following up every 2 or 3 days (it is now 27/10/23) I still have not received them.

They kept saying we will check with our warehouse and ship asap. But nothing would happen.

They are dishonest incompetent and infuriating.

I decided to stop listening to their lies and asked them to cancel the order - which they said they would do.

But why couldn’t they just be honest months ago and tell me there was an issue and cancel it themselves and replace the order?

It was all just a charade and they waste peoples time and money.

Clearly Day to day glasses

August 11

Went down town Toronto at 6pm to visit the brick and mortar store.

So under staffed they didn’t have time to service me before close. They told me that I could order online to get express shipping.

I call customer service line before ordering to ask about the OS height and I was advised that as long as I had PD it didn’t matter.

I ordered the glasses based on the information I received that day.

August 17

My paid for express shipping order is delivered and I’ve discovered that the information I’ve been given was incorrect. I cannot see out of my glasses because the Os is wrong. (Non existent)

I call customer service again and stress that I need these glasses for my wedding and I’m

Not paying for shipping again since I was given the wrong information.

I am promised expedited shipping and priority order manufacturing. I just needed to go back into the store and tell them to look at my account for the notes.

August 18

I go back down town tomorrow (I live in Oshawa) at rush hour after work. That is 2 hours of my life again. I get to the store and tell them about the notes and the deal the customer service representative set up only to be told that they have no way to accommodate that.

I call up customer service and wait 45 mins for an answer. The representative tells me that she checked and the store actually can’t accommodate what she promised.

So I’ve wasted my time coming in and a week of ordering the glasses in store.

I ask to order the glasses over the phone and they can just add in the OS number and apparently that’s not possible.

I’m not sure why you even offer the option to order glasses online. There is no disclosure that if you have a higher prescriptions that you need the OS. Nothing prevents you from ordering glasses online.

The retail store stays after closing time to help fix the mess online has created. I order through them.

August 19

I call up customer service to discuss the gross negligence that has happened with this order.

The ‘supervisor’ tells me how they are sorry and that she will personally be ‘coaching’ the staff that gave me the wrong information. Great news but that doesn’t fix my problem. I repeatedly ask how we are going to fix this and make it right. The question she can’t answer and she continues to skirt around the question.

Being time deaf, she offers a store credit online, knowing full well that they can’t accommodate what I need. It sounds like she’s just reading off a script.

She consistently tells me that online and retail are not affiliated and can’t help eachother. Get her staff lord throughly their teeth about promises they offered.

Then she tells me that she can ask the store to refund me more money, but if they are not affiliated, how can they make the store refund me money?

I continue to ask how they are going to fix this for me and she cannot answer me.

I ask for someone who can answer my question if she can’t.

I get a scheduled call with a ‘manager’

August 21

My scheduled call with the ‘manager’ takes place. I ask the same question how they are going to make it right, and they still dodge the question.

She tells me that she actually cannot make the store refund me money, yet her supervisor’ stated that they would be able to. So again, more lies.

All I want is the glasses promised before sept 13 at this point. She tells me that she is going to call the store and find out the status of the glasses on the 22nd and that she would call me that evening.

I told her that she better make it the 23rd because the store is closed and they are likely going to over promise and under deliver again. So I have another scheduled call on the 23rd for a status update.

I told her that this better become someone’s full time job to follow up on the status of my glasses because this is not my mess to clean up.

Summary to date:

I’ve been lied to constantly by multiple tiers of management.

No one wants to fix the problem or seems to care.

When I asked how WE can fix this, I get nothing.

When I ask how THEY would feel if they were me, they cannot answer.

Their staff have no business giving any direction. Their staff are undertrained. They need to be held accountable. The company needs to fix what their staff have messed up.

They are playing with peoples vision, money, livelihoods and time.

Had I been given the correct information from day one, I would not be here writing this.

This is false advertising, bait and switch, unprofessional, dishonest, disappointing, poor customer service and I’m beside myself wondering how such a great company I’ve sworn by for years has taken such a nose dive to scummy business practices.

After this I will never grace their doors again.

Desired outcome: I want what I was promised. Expedited shipping and order manufacturing

Clearly Clearly's Patient and Understanding Customer Service Saved My Glasses Purchase

I ain't the best at picking glasses on the first go, but Clearly has always been patient with me. This time, I thought I had it all figured out. I ordered the first pair, thinking that as long as I kept the same measurement numbers, the new glasses would fit me like a glove. Boy, was I wrong! When the glasses arrived, they were slipping off my nose like a wet bar of soap. Ain't nobody got time for ill-fitting glasses for a couple of years, so I reached out to Clearly for help.

The lady on the phone was super understanding and helped me through the process of returning the first pair and picking out a new pair that would fit me like a glove. She even helped me arrange the return slip to send the first pair back.

This ain't my first rodeo with Clearly, and it definitely gives me peace of mind that I'll always end up with the right pair of glasses at a reasonable price. I've had a similar experience before, and they always come through for me. I'm grateful for their patience and understanding, and I'll definitely be back for more glasses in the future.

Clearly Mixed Experience with Clearly: Transition Lenses Permanently Darkened

I've been a loyal customer of Clearly for quite some time now, and I've always been satisfied with their products and services. However, my recent purchase left me a bit disappointed. I ordered a pair of glasses with transition lenses that darken in the sun, just like my previous orders. But when I received my glasses, I noticed that the lenses were permanently dark, which is only useful when I'm outside in the sun. I can't use them indoors or in low-light conditions, which is a bit of a bummer.

I'm not sure whose fault it was, but I'm guessing there was a miscommunication somewhere along the line. I've never had this issue before, so I'm not sure what went wrong this time. I haven't complained to the company because I don't want to cause any trouble, and I can't afford to return the glasses and wait for a new pair to be made.

Despite this hiccup, I still highly recommend Clearly to anyone looking for quality glasses and excellent customer service. They have always been reliable and efficient in the past, and I'm sure this was just a one-time mistake. Clearly Poor Customer Service and Quality Glasses from Clearly: A Review

I recently ordered a pair of glasses with graduated lenses from Clearly and unfortunately, I couldn't see with them. However, the customer service team was quick to respond and replaced them with a different pair with a larger frame. It turns out that the first pair couldn't accommodate a graduated lens, which was not communicated to me beforehand. To make matters worse, I was asked for the focal length, which was clearly stated on my prescription. It seems like someone couldn't read the prescription properly.

When I received the second pair, I was disappointed to find that I could only see distance if my chin was essentially on my chest and I had to look through the very top. Close distance was good up to 3 feet, but that was it. Needless to say, the second pair was even less useful than the first. I contacted customer service again and was told to return the glasses for a refund. I did so, but when I was contacted by customer service, they claimed that I returned the wrong glasses and even mentioned the name of the first pair. When I corrected them, the representative promptly hung up on me.

Overall, my experience with Clearly was not great. If you have money to throw away, then they might be the people to deal with. However, if you're looking for quality glasses and good customer service, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Clearly Terrible Experience with CLEARLY: Poor Service and Incompetent Staff

My experience with CLEARLY was not good at all. The staff I spoke to, including their manager, were not able to answer simple questions. They gave me different and conflicting answers, which was very frustrating. When I spoke to the manager today, they didn't answer any of my questions and kept me on the phone for 35 minutes.

I ordered glasses on April 19th, with order number ***. However, when I received the glasses, I couldn't read through them. I called the service team a few times and was asked to take a picture of the glasses. I did as they asked and sent the photos on the same day. They told me that new glasses would be shipped to me in 2 weeks.

Today, I called to ask if the new glasses had already been sent. However, I was given contradictory answers and spent about 60 minutes on the phone. I called again and asked for a refund, and to my surprise, I immediately received an email on how to return the glasses.

I had planned to order glasses for myself, my wife, and my grandson, and I had even recommended CLEARLY to my friends. However, it turned out to be a fatal mistake. I have lost my trust in this company and have wasted a lot of time talking to their incompetent employees and manager.

Overall, I would not recommend CLEARLY to anyone. Their service was very poor, and I had a terrible experience with them.

Clearly Poor Quality Proclear Toric Contact Lenses from Clearly: A Disappointing Experience

I recently ordered Proclear Toric contact lenses from Clearly and unfortunately, my experience was not a positive one. The lenses I received were of poor quality and kept ripping. The first lens lasted only five days before disintegrating in the solution overnight. The second lens lasted only two days before suffering the same fate. The third lens actually split while I was wearing it, causing me a great deal of pain.

I have been wearing contact lenses for over a decade and have never experienced anything like this before. I am not sure if I received counterfeit lenses, but it certainly seems that way. When I contacted customer support, they suggested that my prescription may be incorrect, but nothing has changed except for a slight decrease in power.

Upon checking the reviews on the Clearly website, it seems that I am not the only one who has had issues with their contact lenses. It is frustrating to think that we all may have been given the wrong prescription. I had chosen to order from Clearly in order to save some money, but next time I will pay a premium and order from my local clinic.

What is most frustrating is that I had to wait a month and a half to receive my order, as it kept getting backordered. This makes me question the legitimacy of Clearly. Are the lenses even made by CooperVision? Where did they get them from? Even the boxes are different from the ones I bought from IRIS in September.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Clearly. I hope that they can improve their quality control and customer service in the future.

Clearly Clearly's Support Team Needs Improvement: My Experience with an Order Hold

I recently made an order from Clearly, as I have had great experiences with them in the past. However, this time around, things did not go as smoothly. I had a question about the available DIA for the contacts I wanted to order, so I reached out to their support team. After our conversation, I thought everything was good to go and continued with my day.

A week went by and I still had not received a tracking number for my order, which was unusual since I had always received my orders within 2-3 days in the past. I decided to contact support again to find out what was going on. To my surprise, I found out that the previous support agent I spoke with had put my order on hold without notifying me. I had not received any email or notification about this, and the agent did not mention it during our call.

When I informed the support team that I had not been informed about the hold, they initially tried to blame me for it. It was only after I proved them wrong that they offered me express shipping as a solution. While I still think Clearly is a good company, their support team definitely needs some major work.

In fact, I can't help but wonder if it's even legal to put an order on permanent hold without notifying or asking the paying customer. It just seems like common sense to keep customers informed about any changes to their orders. Despite this hiccup, I will still consider ordering from Clearly in the future, but I will definitely be more cautious and double-check everything with their support team.

Clearly Mixed Experience with Clearly: Great First Order, but Recent Issues and Poor Customer Service

I just wanted to give an update on my experience with Clearly. I had some issues with my previous orders, but someone from their team reached out to me and rectified everything with a full refund and paid postage to send back the product. I haven't placed an order since, but I appreciate their effort to make things right.

I've ordered from Clearly three times in the past. The first order was great - the product was good, my prescription was matched correctly, and the price was unbeatable. However, when I updated my prescription and ordered three more pairs of glasses, I ran into some issues. The new glasses hurt my head and my vision was blurry. When I contacted Clearly's customer service, they told me it was my optometrist's fault. I went to see him and confirmed that my prescription was valid, but ended up buying glasses elsewhere. This process took about six weeks, and by the time it was resolved, it was too late to even try for a refund.

Despite this, I decided to order new prescription sunglasses from Clearly using my old prescription that had worked before. However, when I received the glasses, they had standard lenses with no prescription in them. I called customer service to have them swapped out, but was told that since the promotion was no longer offered, it would cost me twice as much to exchange them.

Overall, I'm disappointed with my recent experiences with Clearly. While I had a great purchase a couple of years ago, something seems to have gone downhill with their company since then. I would advise buyers to beware and consider other options before making a purchase.

Clearly Disastrous Frame Fit: My Clearly Glasses Review

My new glasses from Clearly arrived on time, which was great. The lenses are perfect, but the frames and fitting were a complete disaster. I would give them a 1 out of 10 rating. I have never had such a bad frame fit before. The in-store experience was not great either, so it's no surprise that the fit and frame selection were not up to par.

The eye examination was excellent, though. The doctor was friendly and informative, and I am very satisfied with my prescription. However, there was not enough space at the back of the store for the doctor to work comfortably.

The frames were a different story altogether. The salesperson was nice, but they clearly lacked the skills to fit my frames correctly. The store was overcrowded, and there was no space for me to look in a mirror at the frames I was trying on. The sales associate found a spot for me at the back of the store, but I was quickly kicked out by a very rude sales associate who hassled both me and my sales associate.

The frames were nothing like the fit I experienced in the store. The entire frame was visible and blocked my peripheral view - up, down, and sides. The nose bridge was too low and kept slipping down my nose. I had to keep it in place with my eyebrow. The arms were way too long and not contoured to my head or ears. The right arm was past my ear and curved away from my head. It was impossible to wear a mask, earbuds, hearing aids, or anything around that area without knocking the glasses off my face. They were a complete disaster, and I couldn't even wear them while walking or driving because they obscured my line of sight. I paid $500 for these glasses, so I expected much better.

I have made an appointment to go to a less busy store for a refit or replacement. Hopefully, they can fix the issues with the frames and fitting. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience at Clearly, and I hope they can improve their service in the future.

Clearly Impressed with Clearly.ca's Affordable Progressive Lenses and Quality, but Concerned about Frame Durability

I recently purchased a pair of glasses from Clearly.ca and I must say, I am impressed! As someone with a fairly strong prescription and progressive lenses, I was hesitant to purchase glasses online. However, after receiving a quote of $1,096 just for lenses at a different optician, I decided to give Clearly.ca a try.

I had previously purchased two pairs of glasses from a local optician who had a great reputation, but my most recent pair was not up to par. The lenses were not lined up well for reading and computer, and the optician suggested I get task-specific glasses. As someone who does a lot of public speaking, this was not acceptable for me. So, I decided to try Clearly.ca.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received my glasses and they were lined up much better than my previous pair. I could immediately see better with them and there was no adjustment period needed. The lenses were just as good as my previous pair that I had liked, but with a wider field of vision. I got premium everything and the cost with frames was only $316 including shipping. I was thrilled to only have to pay $66 after insurance, compared to the $1,000 I would have paid at the other optician.

While I am happy with my purchase, there is one concern I have. The frames I purchased seem to be made of soft plastic and already have some little nicks and rough places. I am not hard on my frames and my previous pairs did not have any issues like this. I contacted Clearly.ca and they assured me that the frames were covered for a year, but I am still worried about the longevity of the frames.

Overall, the customer service at Clearly.ca has been friendly and helpful. Although, I did have some difficulty communicating with one representative who struggled with English. Additionally, I was looking for more information on how to clean glasses with the C-Shield coating and the representative was not very knowledgeable.

Despite these minor issues, I am happy with my purchase and will definitely consider purchasing from Clearly.ca again in the future. It's great to know that I can get progressive lenses for a much cheaper price without sacrificing quality.

Clearly Uncomfortable and Unreliable: My Experience with Clearly Contacts

I was really excited to try Clearly for the first time. I ordered my contacts and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they arrived. I usually wear Acuvue contacts, but decided to give Clearly a try because they were cheaper than my optometrist's office. My sister, who is an optician, helped me with the purchase.

Unfortunately, my experience with Clearly was not great. When I put the contacts in, they immediately burned my eyes. I had to rinse them with contact solution before I could wear them comfortably. Even then, I could only wear them for about 4-5 hours before they became extremely dry. I'm used to wearing contacts for hours on end, but these were just too uncomfortable to keep in for long periods of time. I could feel them on my eyes the entire time I was wearing them, and they kept moving around.

To make matters worse, there are no refunds available for Clearly contacts. I feel like I wasted my money on a product that didn't work for me. I'm only giving Clearly one star because they arrived quickly. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Clearly to anyone looking for comfortable and reliable contacts.

Clearly Misleading Promotions: My Experience with Clearly's $100 off Glasses Offer

I recently checked out the Clearly website on April 24th and was excited to see a banner advertising $100 off glasses when booking an eye exam. Without hesitation, I booked my exam and eagerly awaited my discount. However, upon closer inspection, I noticed that the offer had actually expired on April 15th! I was disappointed and confused, so I decided to reach out to Clearly's customer service team to get some answers.

Their response was less than satisfactory. They simply apologized for the expired offer and didn't offer any explanation or solution. This left me feeling frustrated and suspicious of their business practices. It's not fair to mislead customers with expired promotions and it makes me wonder if they have other tricks up their sleeve.

Despite this negative experience, I must say that the Clearly website is easy to navigate and has a wide selection of glasses to choose from. However, their misleading tactics have left a bad taste in my mouth and I'm not sure if I would trust them again in the future.

If you're considering using Clearly, I would advise you to double-check any promotions or offers before making a purchase. My experience is proof that they may not always be upfront and honest about their deals.

Clearly Disappointed with Clearly's Glasses Quality and Material Transparency

I recently had an experience with Clearly that left me feeling a bit disappointed. While I have ordered glasses from them in the past that worked perfectly fine, my most recent purchase didn't quite meet my expectations. My first pair unfortunately fell on the hard asphalt, so I understood that they broke. However, my second pair fell from only 30 cm off my nightstand and the frame cracked. This has never happened to me before in my 35 years of wearing glasses.

Although they did offer me a discount, I didn't want to go through the hassle of ordering a third pair of glasses within 9 months. I asked what kind of material the glasses were made of, but they couldn't give me a clear answer. I suspect it was acetate, which I'm not too keen on using again.

It's unfortunate that we live in a society that's so focused on consumption and waste. I wish there was a way to know which glasses are of good quality. It would be helpful if Clearly could specify what kind of plastic their glasses are made of, like how Zenni does with acetate or other types of plastic.

Overall, I still have faith in Clearly and will continue to order from them in the future. However, I hope they can improve their transparency regarding the materials used in their glasses to ensure that customers are getting the best quality possible.

Clearly Mixed Experience with Clearly: Defective Lens and Customer Service Issues, but Great In-Store Service

So, I decided to give Clearly a try and ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses. I got my prescription from my optometrist and placed my order. I was excited to receive my new shades and couldn't wait to try them on. However, when they finally arrived, I was disappointed to find out that the left lens was defective. I couldn't see anything clearly with them on, and it was frustrating.

I decided to contact Clearly Canada and let them know about the issue. They asked me to send them a copy of my prescription, my PD distance as measured by the optometrist, and a selfie of me wearing the glasses. I provided all three and waited for their response. The next day, I received a reply asking for another selfie but with different parameters. I shot another one and sent it to them. This happened three more times, and I was starting to get frustrated.

Finally, I decided to go to a Clearly store in my town and see if someone there could help me. I was hoping to find someone who cared about their job and could help me get my sunglasses fixed. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the staff at the store were very helpful and friendly. They took a look at my sunglasses and fixed the left lens for me. I was so relieved and happy that I could finally wear my new shades.

Overall, I would say that my experience with Clearly was mixed. While I was disappointed with the defective lens and the back and forth with customer service, I was happy with the service I received at the store. I would recommend Clearly, but with a caveat that you may need to visit a store if you encounter any issues.

Clearly Mixed Experience with Clearly: Contact Lens Order and Delivery Review

I recently purchased contact lenses from Clearly and overall, I was satisfied with the product. However, there were a few issues that I encountered during the ordering and delivery process.

Firstly, I noticed that the left eye lens was packaged in a 90 pack box instead of the usual 3 smaller boxes of 30 lenses in a larger box. While this may seem like a minor issue, I believe that the latter packaging would have provided better protection for the lenses during shipping and storage.

Secondly, the shipment arrived a week later than the estimated delivery date provided at the time of purchase. This was particularly inconvenient for me as I had to change the shipment address from one province to another in order to receive the order on time. I had to rely on a neighbour to receive the package on my behalf as I was not yet back at my home address. This was not the seamless and convenient experience that I had hoped for when ordering from Clearly.

Despite these issues, I have had positive experiences with Clearly in the past and have always appreciated the ease of ordering and delivery speed. Clearly Clearly.ca Review: Good Customer Service, But Room for Improvement

So, I recently ordered some contact lenses and contact solution from Clearly (clearly.ca). I was pretty excited to receive my order, but unfortunately, I didn't receive any notification that my order was coming on the day it did. I didn't even get a confirmation email to let me know that my order had shipped, so I was caught off guard when it arrived. I was just lucky that I happened to be home at the time.

When I opened the package, I realized that I didn't receive the contact solution sizes that I had asked for. I was pretty disappointed, so I decided to call customer service to see if they could help me out. They were very friendly and helpful, and they emailed me a return label so that I could send back the smaller, incorrect sized bottles. They promised to ship me the larger, correct sizes as soon as they received the return.

I was happy that they covered the shipping for the return, but I couldn't help feeling a little frustrated that they had made a mistake in the first place. If they really wanted to provide excellent customer service, they should have let me keep the sizes they sent me AND send me the correct sizes I ordered. That would have been a really nice gesture and would have made me feel like they truly cared about my satisfaction.

Overall, I'm happy that I eventually received everything I ordered, but I do wish that the process had been a little smoother. I think Clearly has some room for improvement when it comes to their communication and attention to detail, but I appreciate their efforts to make things right in the end.

Clearly Disappointed with Clearly's Response to Defective Contacts

I've been a customer of Clearly for years and never had any issues until my last order. The left contact lens I tried was uncomfortable from the moment I put it in my eye. I even tried expensive moisture and allergy eye drops from my optometrist, but they didn't help. I decided to switch to a new left eye contact lens, and it was much better.

I contacted Clearly to let them know about the issue, and they told me that I had a defective set of contacts (batch). They asked me to send them a photo of my prescription and a photo of the bad lens. They offered me a $10 credit on my next order, but I had to buy a whole new box and pay for shipping and handling to replace the defective product. I was disappointed with their response and felt that they should do better. They should work with the manufacturer to ensure that their customers receive quality products. If I had bought the contacts through my optometrist, I would have paid more, but I could have gotten a single replacement for free. Now, I don't know how many other defective lenses I might have.

Overall, I still think that Clearly is a good company, but they need to improve their customer service when it comes to defective products. As a loyal customer, I expect better treatment and a more satisfactory resolution to my issue. I hope that they take my feedback into consideration and make the necessary changes to ensure that their customers are happy and satisfied with their products and services.
