I accept that from now on I should read the “terms & conditions” a lot more closely, but I just couldn’t conceive of a company offering a trial that starts the day you place the order. Well that’s exactly what this fraudulent crook of a company decided to do and I get some third world inept operator taking my call that tried her hardest to up-sell me on another month of a product I didn’t even want one month of.

So I tell her that I received the acai product on Monday it was now Wednesday and I’m wondering why they charged me $89 after 3 days, she replies no it is charged 10 days from the time you place the order, you failed to call us back in time. I exploded! What sense does that make to start my trial of something before I receive it? I didn’t get to TRY it! She say’s oh well since you’ve already paid for it now why don’t you try it for the rest of the month. This crap went on for way too long and finally when I was frustrated to the verge of tears did she give me the cancellation instructions.

Can you believe after the 10 times I said I didn’t want it had I hung up too soon I would have still been in the system to get hit again next month! Scam artists! I am pissed and still out of money. And the cancellation process is so detailed and ridiculous, and they cover their criminal butts by putting this stupid info in the terms they know people rarely read through completely. Uuuggghh!

Call [protected] to cancel your account. I had a similar issue, 130$ charge showed up on my statement this morning... I called VISA immediatly. They have had several complaints about this. Apparently it is in the terms and conditions after you submit the free sample.. if you do not cancel the account within 15 days you are authorizing this charge:(

They were polite and cancelled it without issue, but would not refund the money.

Try calling [protected] this is the number I used to cancel the account... Visa had it onfile due to soo many similar complaints, however, the charge is listed int he hidden terms and conditions, if you do not cancel your account within 15 days you will be charged...

I didn't realize what I was getting into with this "free" sample. They have since billed my credit card twice, $79.95 each, and no additional product received and no way to contact them. My card company says they have thousands of complaints about this same thing happening to others, same company. It's a scam. Each of the three billings (the original 99 cent offer and the two other charges) have been billed under different names, healthco, o-berry-1 and protberryhealth. My card company gave me two telephone numbers which were provided when registering the companies, [protected] (o-berry) and [protected] (protberryhealth). I am a little dubious about calling either number because of these phone scams where you get hit for a huge phone bill. My credit card company fortunately is working with me and has blocked any further charges to my account. Good luck!.

MY name is Barbara Grimm about two months ago I saw this add on the computer for a bottle of this acai berry for .99cents well the next thing I no this lady from that company calls me to say u must order this and that I told her I didn't want this and that, and to cancel my order. Well wouldn't u no they charged my account credit card for two times not once but twice. 164.62 cents so I called my bank and it is now in there hands they r taking charge and contacting a lawyer because this is a fraudulant charge. they r going to handle it now.I even sent this company a letter return requested they never answered me. I am so #$%@& mad at this company. They better get there crap together, what ever happened to the better business bureau y can't they do something about this company.I even called them and got this jerk that can't speak a bit of english and he said let me check your account he came back to say there is no record of my name or address so I said then how can u keep charging my credit card. HIS Name is supposed to be WILLIAM SMITH yeah what nut house is he from, watch this company they su^%$#k.

go to your bank and tell them your account has been hacked they will try to fix the problem and they should change ur card number this happened to me as well the very next day i ordered they charged me and i went to my bank and said someone got ahold of my account and its believable bec the charge was from out of the country

(Continuing) I accidently hit the enter key & didn't get to complete my comments.

Early early this morning I ordered ColoDetox & AcaiMaxi Weight Loss for their Free Trial Offers for just the low shipping charges. Well, it turns out that these and other diet programs & others not associated with diet, are shell companies of
SWM Laboratories. Two of these include ProBiotics, & ID Secure Solutions. The latter is, you won't believe this, a company that is suppose to safeguard you from identity theft.

My credit card company called me earlier today inquiring about charges on my credit card in the small amounts of $2.49, $4.96 $.99, & $3.32 the latter for the ID Secure Solutions. (Small charges like these pose a red flag to my CC company, as credit card thieves often charge small amounts, as much as only $1.00 to test the card to see if goes through) My CC company gave me phone #s to call all of these. I did & cancelled all of them. Then I called my CC company back & had my card cancelled. I am being issued a new credit card.

This is the 3rd time in a year we have had to be issued a new credit card! I have now decided only to order online from reputable companies from whom I have previously without any problems. Either that or check out the company by using Yahoo Search, or one of the others, by typing in the name of the company to see any bad feedbacks, etc. there may be with them.

not sure how to tell you this but you can get their merchant id and take them to small claims court thats what i am doing i have a lawyer and the whole nine. i have already contacted them and returned their unopened product with multiple witnesses. but i have to contact them again and refresh their memory on who they are dealing with. Because i will not only get my money back but i will get compensation if i have to get them in front of the better business bureau. I dont care what it takes...

I agree. It is a total scam. Changing the company name form one month to the next on your credit card hoping you won't notice. Higher charges every month and can't contact anyone, just answering service ro voicemail and nobody ever calls you back. RIDICULOUSLY taking advantage of people that work hard for every penny they make by promising "pay only S & H". LIARS and CON ARTISTS!

I've got the same problem. I can not reach anyone to cancel and get me of this b-s list. They have threatened to put all my personal information including my credit card number online due to the fact I refused their package. If everyone would do this maybe they could put a stop to the crooked mess.

I had the same problem. I called [protected] & demanded credit on my charge card & they did. You have to call to tell them don't send any! I also had this problem with Bromalite, but they refused to give me credit. I also called the Federal tradr Comm. [protected] & filed a complaint at www.ic3.gov (FBI) Good luck Dolly

The same B.S. happened here to. I got a hold of the (eliteselling@gmail.com) email for that damn Acai Berry crap that I never received either and was charged $91.80. This James Th omas told me to email acailoss1@yahoo.ca, apparently customer support. So far I have not heard back and this was back around Aug 10. SUPRIZE SURPRIZE EH! damn ###. Then, I had another charge from WEIGHTSECRETS for $95.90. Tried that [protected] and was talking to someone in the Phillipines who didn't know what the hell I was talking about and wants me to fax my Visa statement to the Fax Dept.? I too have changed my visa card, but have not received a cent from these scammers. I'm sooo mad at these SOB'S, I could strangle them all...venting always helps. I have an email for weight secrets if you'd like to try it...sales@powercleanse-trials.con.

hello there
i guess i got scammed myself...the add they made was on facebook so i thought (silly me) they filter the adds ..
i ordered the products in 27.08.09 and i didn't get the confirmation email... nor nuthing in the post...since i live in Milano i thought it.s a shipping delay
BUT after reading all these posts i am beggining to worry !
The payment was made with a visa electron so in fact if there's no money on it they can't really charge me...RIGHT?
anyways, what do u say? should i email them?

My bank account was also debited by these thieves.
I was charged $59.95 twice in 2 weeks, for a product I did not receive. I did get the sample which did nothing so of course I did not order any more.

I had to go through my bank, and it took 5 mos. to get my money back in my account.
The bank told me this is happening all the time by this company.

This company steal your money and will not stop charging you just to let you know. Their customer service is very very poor. I suggest you to report to your bank that your debit card was stolen and issue a new card with a new debit card number to stop charges. If anything just keep receipts and send back anything they send you to prevent them from reporting you as an online thief. Hope this helps.

If you have a bank of america cc you will find them very helpful. I too, had the same thing happen to me. dispute it with your credit card company. Call them and cancel, but remember to call and cancel all of the little side companies that they have too. Make sure you get a cancellation number from the person you call and a name and Id Number of the person you talked to. Some of these companies associated with Acai Burn are in England so you will be charged a foreign country conversion rate too. CANCEL ALL

I had to cancel my credit card and get a new one...I told the credit card company what was happening and they sent me a new card in one week and I did not get any charges...good luck

Complain to Google, they are advertising on this very web page.
Complain to AOL, they advertise on their home page at times.
Complain to your credit company.
Complain to all the places you can.
Dont let these low lives get to you.
Be patient you will get your money back if you persevere.

I'm hoping that they dont bill me! I ordered the free trial, it was on my bank account $3.95. The Acai berry people called me yesterday to thank me for my order and to explain by signing up for the free trial that i was also signing up for regular shipments every month. Well, I told her that I knew this and I also knew that I can cancel the monthly billing as long as I did it within 30 days of my free trial order (i read the fine print). Well now there is NO $3.95 charge on my bank statement AND I checked on the shipping status of my free trail and there isnt one! So on the login page I hit cancel my membership. I tried signing back in and it said that this account didnt exsist (which is good), but no confirmation of my cancellation has been sent to me. What a joke!

The same thing happened to me - only I never even received the free trial. When I saw that they had charged my account for $87.13 TWICE - I contacted them and my credit card holder. The company said that they had only put a "hold" on the funds (total of 174.26) and that the money WOULD NOT be taken from my card and my account had been cancelled. The card holder (Wells Fargo who I will cease to do business with also) said that once the funds were "officially" taken - then I could file a fraud claim thru the bank. The money WAS taken (total of $174.26) today and now even the bank is saying that I AUTHORIZED the charges when I gave them my card number and all they can do is cancel the card so no further charges are made to it and issue me a new card/number. So - like everyone else here - looks like I'm screwed.

Not sure who I'm more upset with - me for being so stupid to fall for this, the company for being such an unethical, thieving bunch of SOBs, or the bank for not standing behind a long time (not any more) customer to help get this resolved.

no one answers the phone when trying to return order- they charge your account right away for shipments.. I strongly suggest NOT getting involved with this product/comapny...

After calling the company and telling them I had not authorized that huge price for the trial pills, I got ANOTHER bottle in the mail today and on the paper inside, it says no refunds are given on any products that have already been shipped. This is America. How did we get so sly as to trick our own people with this stuff. I am really angry...

i have also had trouble i have had a substantial amount of money taken from my account with out permission...and no products delivered after the trial...i cant afford to pay for this every month and certainly if im not recieving anything its taken food fro my childrens mouths becasue i cant afford them when this money goes missing...what i would like to kow is how do i go about contacting this company and getting my money reimbursed ..is there anyone that can help me

First of all, I suggest you ask for new bank card #, because they may sell your number to other related businesses. If you receive the product, return it right away to senders, do not trust that kind of crap sold by scammers. It is useless to return it to address provided by them (China) and pay for postal service, because they will not refund you anyway. You'll have to contest charges with your bank and tell them you are victim of a fraud.

In order to unsubscribe from Acai Berry, go on the web site where the product has been ordered; clic on "contact us" or "customer service" at the very bottom of the page, and tell them you want to cancel your subscription. Enter your name, address, order #, telephone #. They will give you weird answers, but you should always respond back to them. Each time they respond to you, take note of e-mail address, and respond back, using all addresses noted. If they do not answer, re-send e-mail to each address. Do that until they finally stop sending you their crap and keep copy of everything you can.

They got me also, they told me to only pay $3.95, for s @h, and they will send a free trial for 30 days, and not even 5 day's pasy and they took $87.00 off of my credit card, I Admittedly cancelled, and sent the product back without touching anything, now it's been a whole month, and when I call they put no hold forever hoping you will hang up, then we they see your not they say you will get a email in 3 days saying the full amount will be put back on your card!It's been 5 day's ! Im sorry im not going to let them scam me, if I have to get a Lawyer then i will!

all you need to do is..request a dispute with your bank, and te company will refund you full amount, i did the same thing, it took only a week to get my refund.good luck!
