I accept that from now on I should read the “terms & conditions” a lot more closely, but I just couldn’t conceive of a company offering a trial that starts the day you place the order. Well that’s exactly what this fraudulent crook of a company decided to do and I get some third world inept operator taking my call that tried her hardest to up-sell me on another month of a product I didn’t even want one month of.

So I tell her that I received the acai product on Monday it was now Wednesday and I’m wondering why they charged me $89 after 3 days, she replies no it is charged 10 days from the time you place the order, you failed to call us back in time. I exploded! What sense does that make to start my trial of something before I receive it? I didn’t get to TRY it! She say’s oh well since you’ve already paid for it now why don’t you try it for the rest of the month. This crap went on for way too long and finally when I was frustrated to the verge of tears did she give me the cancellation instructions.

Can you believe after the 10 times I said I didn’t want it had I hung up too soon I would have still been in the system to get hit again next month! Scam artists! I am pissed and still out of money. And the cancellation process is so detailed and ridiculous, and they cover their criminal butts by putting this stupid info in the terms they know people rarely read through completely. Uuuggghh!

I placed my order 30/4/11 and have never received the product. I made one phone call to their customer services and was told that
they had had such a great response that they will reship mine. Still, so far, I have received nothing. I am so glad that I only ever
use a 'PAY AS YOU GO ' card for any online purchases. This way they cannot take any unorthorised payments. I recommend that
others use only this type of card online.

I just received the same call. ADS collections called me. I took down the information they said they were provided from Pure Nutralife. They said I owed $80 from a declined credit card charge from June of 2009. I did some investigating and called them back. The card # they said was declined was a card stolen from me. I called them back and report the fraud and they said they would remove my information from their system. I called my attorney and he advised me to get that information in writing. I live in the state of Florida and all of this needs to be reported to the State Attorneys office as well as the FTC and credit bureau. This posting helped me a lot. Thanks!

yes, I just recieved a phone call from this company (ADS collections) and they claimed to have sent me this product. I supposedly ordered it August 9, 2009. They told me to contact purenutraboost.com to get the situation straightened out. Of course, I looked on the website, and no phone number. I called the FTC and reported them. The FTC number is 1-800-FTC-HELP. Also, if this company claims you owe them money for anything, call [protected] (the credit bureau) and put a fraud alert on your account.

It is a scam... I do not even know if the product works, but if it does, I would NOT take the risk of buying from this type people (business). I was charged $79.99, not even for a product but for a MEMBERSHIP? come on...The trial period starts when you place the order, not when you receive the product, so you have 9 day trial period as opposed to 14 days. The customer service is bad, they do not ven pay attention to what you are saying. I was upset becuse I was been charged for air, but still they kept on offering products to get more money from me... Incredible.

By the time the 10 days are up, depending on where you live. it may be 14 days your "FREE TRAIL" has already ended!

Don't be a fool! weight lose does not come in a bottle. It comes through good habits and self dicipline. Train yourself to eat better and exersice.
Pills are for patients, weight loss is for doers! start walking, join a team, walk the kids to school!
ACAI BERRY is a money making scheme for a rich millionare taking advantage of the gullable (like me) and sitting in his velevt covered high backed chair in a smking jacket. having a massive laugh!

The call back number so not work, the email addresses bounce back and the credit card is getting heavier by the week. Cancel the card and report the fraud. move on!

For future reference...You need to send it back via registered mail and require a signature so that you have proof that it was returned. You also need to call their 1-800 number and cancel any future orders and get it in writing or an email. Last ditch effort to stop any future charges is to file a complaint with your credit card company or bank and put a stop payment on any transactions coming from that company.

I was just charged $109.90 for a product I never received. The ACAI BERRY WEIGHT LOSS SYSTEM IS A SCAM! I contacted my credit card company and will dispute the charges but since they wait the 2 weeks for the trial and then send out several more before you are aware they have charged them and then they say you cannot send them back, they can charge your card. The person on the phone said the product was in the mail. I repeatedly asked where to send them back and he said, "Oh, you cannot send them back Mam!" This is supposed to be a product made by a physician, I hope he is a better doctor than he is a business man. I will contact the better business bureau. This is an expensive lesson to learn but I will read everything from now on before ordering. EVERYTHING! SCAM! BEWARE!

I am an ex Local Billing Limited employee, the owners of www.acaiberryexclusive.com, www.acaiberry-lifecleanse.com, www.absoluteacaiberry.com and another sites like www. Vitality-clean.com with these fake diet products (colon cleanser, acai berry, resveratrol), and fake cosmetics products (dazzle white, face factor, etc.) . They are operating using various companies: Viv3Labs for Europe, FMW Laboratories for US And, lately, to avoid the problems caused by the scam using Viv3Labs, they are using Trading Planet Ltd for Europe and Information Tech Systems LTd for US. Also, they are using PurpleSky LTD at Cyprus for Europe. Lately, they are using some companies opened to process credit cards for the porn industry (LB Pride Studios, LB Envision Net Worldwide, etc.- all of them are Local Billing Companies – LB stats for LB).
The business model is to offer a FREE SAMPLE, only charging you the postage (this is an excuse to get your credit card number) and, then, due to HIDDEN Terms and Conditions, charge people incredible amounts of money for pills and nutraceuticals (in some cases more than 80€ /bottle), which in any retail place cost less than 6 US$ per bottle. This business model is, basically, A SCAM.
The owners of those sites are Deepak Argwal (http://www.ccap.ph/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=106:deepak-agarwal&catid=76:hot-topic, who, apart from this business –contactcenter, legal-, is running more than 2.000 Porn Sites –see DeeCash.com-), Clay Douglass (http://www.linkedin.com/in/claydouglass) and Mitch Platt (http://www.linkedin.com/pub/mitch-platt/4/271/878).
It is easy to find them through the information that appears on the site registration of www.acaiberryexclusive.com.
Now, they discovered this hole on their ability to remain hidden and are registering the new sites using a Marketing company located in the US, Moniker OnLine Services

Another evidence that Local Billing is behind those companies is consulting the impressun of the web pages (for example www.absoluteacaiberry.com, http://www.absoluteacaiberry.com/frontend/join/impressum/site/4349#utm_source=az&utm_medium=16935&utm_term=none&utm_content=Absolute+AcaiBerry) and seeing that is a Local Billing company behind them:

LB is for Local Billing….
And also resveratrol product site, www.winedetox.com, the impressum of the page (http://www.winedetox.com/frontend/join/impressum/site/4347#utm_source=cx-es&utm_medium=31922&utm_term=resveratrol&utm_content=ResVmax) is the following:

Also, they are using a company called Phytoscience, located in the same address than viv3, to make the handling and the postal distribution of the products. The manager of Phytoscience is called Chris Swanson and his email is chris@phytoscience.co.uk.

This is the company Lifelong uk who charged my credit card 0.97p for postage of their free offer of Acaiberry on 1st Dec. Then 18th Dec they took £76.17 from my credit card followed by £75.86 on 2nd Jan 10. Completely unauthorised - they say that when my wife agreed to have the sample she signed up for monthly account deduction. Upon phoning, they have given me a canellation no - but no promise of a refund as of 7th Jan 10.
THIS IS A SCAM.
Can anyone advise on how one can get their money back please?

I to was scammed from this company. With the endorcement of Oprah and they had
a local Minnesotan as a testimonial saying how this product worked. I called numerous times to try to get this cancelled as was told someone would call me back which never happened. -- I did get ahold of the Minnesota State Attorney's Office which
was helpful -- I did get one refund back - but never got the 2nd one back - unsuccessfuly the State Attorney's office could not get any response back from them. I to was talking
to someone from outside the country as the Customer Service. I asked where I was calling and was told the Phillipines. -- I got the whole runaround. While being put on
hold - my phonecall was meshed with another customer complaint. So we started talking about our complaints. This customer told me to go to the bank immediatly and cancel the account so they would not be able to scam any more money from me. --
By the time I reached the bank, a payment to this company had been taken from my
account charged to my credit card. -- So please beware and if you have been scammed -
contact your State Attorney's Office and cancel the credit card that you gave this company. - It looks as thought Ophrah Winfrey has sued this company for unauthorized use or endorement of her name. Some of us everyday people do not haave the resorces or money to hire an attorney - GOOD LUCK TO MY FELLOW PERSON'S
SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY. - Mary in Minnesota

THE BIGGEST SCAM EVER. Watch your bank account for unauthorized payments to Acai Berry. I ordered one bottle, plus they gave me a free sample. Acai Berry kept charging my bank account every week for 3 months. I called on several occasions to cancel. They gave me a cancellation number and still sent more orders of pills. I ended up with 8 bottles of Acai berry. According to them I had 3 different acounts with them. I hit the roof. I only ordered one bottle. My bank informed me that I would have to close my account. After contacting Acai Berry for the 4th time, they have stopped sending pills and has not touched my account thus far. Keep calling the Acai Berry #[protected]. Make sure they give you a cancellation number and continue to monitor your bank account. They also informed me that I can return the rest of the pills and get my money back. Haven't done it yet because of the damage to my account. But will let you know if they EVERY credited my account. VICTUM OF ACAI BERRY BANK FRAUD!

You can dispute the charges through your bank or credit card issuer. But in order to prevent repeat billing you will have to block the old card and get issued a new one. If you use it to pay other legit businesses, make other arrangements with them.

I to have been a mug and ordered a free sample of acai berry detox and life clense
on checking my bank statement today have discovered the have charged me for my free
samples of £75.00 each item and then charged me the same amount again the following
month. I tried to phone the address from where they were sent from and did speak to a
lady who was quite rude and after a lot of fuss gave me 2 refund numbers for the last
items that were charged and then put the phone down on me.
I have phoned the fair trading standards office who have advised me what to do if not to get back to them
I am also going to see my bank manager tomorrow and cancel my bank account so as they cannot take anymore money from my account I am an old age pensioner and cannot afford to have money taken out like this. a free sample is free how dare they
charge me for it and you didn't even know by how much until you look at the statement
How can people be so cruel. Janet

I have tried to cancel my order for the past week by calling at different times of the day. Funny this is, I listening to elevator music for at least 10 minutes and then an automated voice comes on the line telling me that "all agents are busy on the phone." I have not yet been charged the fee, but I know its coming. Something needs to be done about this organization who gives out fraudulent information such as a cancelation email or there is never anyone who answers the phone.

I just found out that Acai Berry was hitting my bank account for $86.97 for there products. Admittedly I fell into their email scam of requesting a 30 day supply for only shipping and handling only to discover that by doing that you set up an active account with them and they keep sending their product. I called their customer service # and spoke to John Id# 337. He read right from his script that we had an active account. I went back and pulled up the email and nowhere on this does it state that you will keep an active account. They in fact called me numerous times apparently trying to set me up on one. I was told that my account had now been changed to inactive and that no more funds would be drawn from my account but in todays economy that $86 was enough to pay one of my legitimate necessary living expenses (like phone or natural gas or water). If in fact Dr. Oz is affiliated with this company he should be ashamed and his program removed from TV.
