India Yamaha Motor review: Poor service/quality issue at vehicle engine

Dear Yamaha show Room Team,

I am writing to formally escalate a serious service issue faced at your authorized service center , Davanagere, Karnataka - 577002. involving my Yamaha Fascino (Registered 2025).
The Vehicle details as below,
• Model: Yamaha Fascino
• Registration Year: 2025
• Job Card No.: JC/18490/2025-26/02/3990
• Service Center: TS Enterprises Davanagere Karnataka – 577002

We have taken the service on 27.02.2026 at TS enterprises Yamaha show room, Davanagere.
After changing the engine oil, service person has not closed the engine oil tank cap properly. Hence the engine oil was started leaking slowly. On 7th march 2026 I was travelling to Honnali from davanagere in the middle of way I observed engine sound.
The next day I took to show room to enquire. After verifying the show room people are saying that, Piston is jam & Engine has run without oil. So that 16000 Rs. Bill is rising for this.
It is not at all acceptable.
Considering the above facts, I request Yamaha India to kindly investigate this matter and arrange for the necessary repair or replacement of the engine components without any cost to me. I also request that appropriate action be taken with the concerned service center to prevent such incidents in the future.

In case the issue is not resolved amicably, I will be compelled to escalate the matter further and seek resolution through the appropriate consumer grievance authorities, including the Consumer Court, for deficiency in service and negligence.
I sincerely hope Yamaha India will look into this matter seriously and provide a fair and prompt resolution.
Additionally, the vehicle is only about one year old. Engine seizure within such a short period is completely unacceptable for a properly maintained vehicle. This indicates a clear lapse in service procedure.
