Windstream Communications review: Internet services/customer service

I called in the morning around 10am on the 25th and 7:30 on the 27th. I initially called to ask about the process of disconnect and how to stop the services. The gentlemen rep on Saturday said that my bill was from the 29th-28th and I had until the 27th before my service was generated a new bill. On the 27th, I was informed by the cancellation office that was incorrect and that my billing cycle was different. I reached REBECCA on the 27th and I have to say was quite disappointed in our exchange. She referenced 2 free months and said could not speak for other departments giving incorrect information. I felt she was very rude to the point of abrasiveness. She put me on hold, came back and said she prorated my next bill because I would be receiving one and when I inquired to how much she was flippant and said she did not know. I said ok. the whole interaction with the first rep giving incorrect info and the next rep taking no ownership of anything left an unacceptable encounter with Windstream. Almost got the feeling the REBECCA was trying to get me off the phone before things even got started. Something as simple as returning equipment and not being charged another bill is cut and dry and quite simple but somehow this provider made it un appealing and cumbersome.
