Whirlpool Washer WFW5620H

I purchased this washing machine in August, 2019. Within the first year computer board failed and needed replaced. Since September, 2021 the washer refused to get off of the spin cycle. Now the machine won't work at all. We are told that we need another computer board which will cost us over $400.00. I travel extensively so my wife is only doing wash for herself since there is nobody else at home. I don't believe that we should have to pay for a failed board when Whirlpool has a Technical Server Pointer #W11481344 that talks about this problem.

Whirlpool Dryer

My dryer is three years old, bought April 2018. It was making a horrible sound, so we turned it off and ordered a repair kit including new belt, drum roller, etc. My husband replaced it all. We turned on the dryer, and the noise was exactly the same. Evidently the motor was the problem. Replacing that without a repairman would be close to 179.00. We decided to cut our losses, and just buy a new dryer.

As a person who has always bought Whirlpool, I am very disappointed that a product lasted only three years. We are retired and cannot afford to be replacing large appliances constantly.

For the first time in my marriage of 43 years, I did not buy another Whirlpool, and honestly, I will never buy another product from your company if this is life expectancy.

Whirlpool There's NOTHING intuitive re: starting Whirlpool dryer

I hate this machine and there are no instructions on how to start it. I would NEVER buy another Whirlpool product. The owner's manual doesn't even have a model number. This machine is absolute crap!

Whirlpool Top load washer

I purchased this product new from Lowes in April of 2021. It is no longer working, and the "troubleshooting" guide from Whirlpool doesn't mention my issue that I am having. So I call Whirlpool, only to be put on the "if you want to ... select a number on your phone" treadmill. Finally after listening and selecting numerous options, I am only told that "you have called outside Whirlpools normal hours". Great, fabulous. I work 10 to 12 hour days Monday thru Friday, and now I have to figure out how to contact these [censored]s who sell faulty products and then make it difficult to reach someone to get this issue fixed.

Whirlpool Gas Dryer Duet Steam

Main Control Board issue. Went to parts website and ordered the replacement. The confirmation says "Factory Backorder" for Item #: 4446023. I decided to call and waited 25 min on the line to understand when I would get my part and the answer was it might take 6 to 12 months because they don't have that in-stock. My next question was "why do you sell a part that you don't have in stock in your website"... the answer was "I didn't do that, "they" do that" as if the person on the phone didn't represent the company. I cancelled the order and asked "what other part will fit in my dryer" and the answer was "unfortunately none". "Do I have to throw my dryer away and buy a new one?" The answer was "Apparently YES. Good night."
It does not make any sense to me that in a world where we are trying to be environmentally correct the only solution I have for my dryer is to throw it away... If I have to do that, I think I don't have to explain why I'll buy a different brand right? Can anyone help me? Thanks!

Whirlpool Dryer

we bought a new whirlpool dryer at Lowe's on Oct 15, 2021, it almost start a fire. I can't believer it is a whirlpool appliance!
I went to Lowe's customer service, I only ask for the refund, but they ask me to contact whirlpool directly.
then, I emailed the whirlpool with all the photos, details with receipts, never get any reply. I feel sorry for this company.

Whirlpool Washer, Model MHW6630HC

Bought the Washer and Dryer from Costco in 2019 with an extended 2 year warranty. In August the Washer started to make a noise that indicated the drum was defective. The service guy agreed and ordered parts. 1 (!) month later I was told that the parts are nor available anywhere. Was told that the Washer will be exchanged...but...it will be a reconditioned unit WITHOUT any warranty. Refused and Whirlpool offered to buy the washer back and return my money. Ref.# [protected]
Got an e-mail from Whirlpool asking me to call when the Washer was picked up, so they could issue the refund Cheque.
Now comes the "fun part".
Washer was picked up on 14October. Since then I have been unable to contact that department ( exchange and buyback). EVERY TIME I call I am on hold for 10 minutes. A recording comes AFTER 10 minutes saying "All our Agents are busy", please call again later...I called 23 (!) times, different days and different times.
Not a very inspiring customer service!

Desired outcome: Issue refund cheque without further delay.

Whirlpool Kitchenaid fridge

I bought a fridge in oct 2019 the water despenser stopped working in march 2020 due to covid I was told my warranty would be extended. I called in 2021 and had someone come out in april said he needed to order parts... Now oct 2021 still haven't heard anything. You guys have the worst service possible and if I could I would throw my fridge at you... For the amount of money I spent on this fridge it is [censored]! Never again

Whirlpool Kitchen Aid Built In Microwave

This is now the 2nd time this unit requires being replacement. I purchased a convection built in with trim kit 4 to 5 years ago when I upgraded all appliances in my kitchen, including Kitchen Aid double ovens. Shortly after I had to contact the executive offices at Whirlpool and was told that this unit was not repairable and had to be replaced. I did that at a discounted cost of $150 for a standard microwave unit (that would fit in my opening and trim kit). This was in 2018, now I back in the same place. The current unit's digital panel is not working, and there are NO REPLACEMENT PARTs. So after paying for a service call, and learning this, my only option is to replace with a 3rd unit. Whirlpool Care Resolution confirmed the above and offered a new unit at $599 but with a Loyalty Discount - talk about the sleeves out of your vest!
I requested escalation and was told that Consumer Escalation would get back to me within 24 hours - it has now been 2 business days and I have not heard from anyone. Further I am on eternal hold trying to reach someone again. I am requesting immediate contact and an appropriate resolution at [protected]@msn.com.

Whirlpool WTW5000DW3

I purchased this washer in November of 2020. I noticed after a few months that my clothes were not coming out clean(mostly the white clothes). I did the cleaning using the Affresh cycle using bleach as recommended. Still clothes did not come out clean. I purchased the Affresh tablets and, again, used the Affresh cycle. Socks, underwear, T-shirts, towels still looking dingy and still had stains. I tried 3 different HE detergents thinking that would help. Still, not coming clean. I did call and had a serviceman come out on Sept. 29th. He recommended I use a quart of white vinegar and let it sit for 45 minutes and then run the washer through 2 cycles. I did so. Suspension rods also replaced and recalibrated. Clothes still not coming out clean. I really don't know what else to do. Is it this particular washer? Is it just a lemon?

Desired outcome: I want my clothes to look clean!

Whirlpool Microwave

This is probably the first, but the display on the microwave has stopped working. Add a frustration I Closed the microwave door harder than usual and the display came back on (and then it disappeared again after the next use. ) Everybody uses the display to see the countdown of time they have left, and this defect really bothers me. I've seen 20 year old microwaves with a display that still works. Usually, a bad solder joint is the root cause For such a failure. The circuit boards For all of their products are likely to be made outside of this country to a J-standard class one requirement (if at all) Which are the cheapest solder joints you can make. The cost to fix the display exceeds the cost to replace this thing, making this microwave a disposable item, and so the product quality does not exist. The company is not required by any means to compensate consumers when there are mass defects with a product unless someone's life is at stake. You can tell the quality of the product by the length of its guarantee. This was my first purchase of a whirl pool product, and I'll NEVER buy a whirlpool product ever again.

Whirlpool AquaLift Self Clean

The AquaLift feature does not work and has never worked.
I have a JennAir Range and the button on the control panel say "Self Clean". It does not clean. I have read many posts on various sites. Ovens with AquaLift feature were lied to or misinformed.
The remedies from the company have done no good and cuustomer services says there haven't been complaints. This can't be the truth since I have read and searched many sites trying to find out if anyone has found a solution for cleaning this oven.

Whirlpool WML55011HS06 Fire

I was cooking popcorn on popcorn setting and was in the kitchen when I smelled smoke. I ran to the microwave and there were flames inside. I had to manually open the microwave and threw a damp wash cloth inside and salt to get the fire out. It was really hot. My house had a little smoke and fire alarms went off but no damage. Just a bad smell. I plan to see if Lowe's will refund or exchange but I feel just a little uneasy about this model now.

Whirlpool Magtag aqua lift self cleaning overn

I purchased this Magtag stove with the aqua lift self cleaning over in 2019 and it has been a constant battle with cleaning. I baked a casserole which boiled over and cleaned right away. It took 3 or 4 self cleaning cycles and a lot of scrubbing to get the spill off the bottom of the oven. This is a constant occurrence. The splatters on the back and sides of the oven will not come off. Customer Service recommended Affresh stove top cleaner for the oven. I had already tried that without success. I even globbed the cleaner on and left for several hours. I might have removed 25% of the splatters.
On a review site, I saw it was recommended to use something like Dawn soap which I have tried plus another degreaser. Nothing really works well.

I called the store where I bought it from and recommended that they never sell another Aqua lift self cleaning oven again. This is an oven for people who never use ovens to cook in.

At my age it is very difficult to have a basic regular non self cleaning oven. It doesn't do well with my health. I am so upset that I might never buy another product from you. I can't trust your products anymore. You use to be really good.

Oh to have my Sears Kenmore stove back.

Whirlpool KitchenAid Refrigerator

We purchased a KitchenAid Refrigerator-Model KRFF507HPS for our new home and it was delivered June, 2021. The unit was making excessive noises, service was provided but the techs admitted that the unit while functional was making continuuos loud noises. Subsequesnt to the service appointment, the water line to the unit leaked and cause some minor floor buckling to one of the wood boards. Whirlpool decided that it would replace our refrigerator with a new unit.
We were contacted to schedule a delivery date and it was advised that we had some minor floor damage from the leak. Whirlpool changed its decision to replace the unit, cancelled the delivery and advised us to make a claim with the legal department. An employee name Kendall in Customer Service has made it impossible to resolve the problem.
I have since replaced the floor board and notified Whirlpool we have no damage claim. Customer service told me that Kendall has blocked it from replacing or solving the problem.

Whirlpool Fridge / freezer H3T811IW (18months old)

No spare draw part, for 11 weeks, on, friday, 3rd September 2021.
I purchased this Hotpoint Fridge/ Freezer 18 months ago, new, from, AO online. I 1st contacted Hotpoint
(Whirlpool) by phone, on 18th June 2021, then on 2nd July, 22nd July, they sent an Engineer to my home, on the 28th July. I telephoned Hotpoint again, on the 13th August. On every phone call & engineers visit, I have been told, the clear plastic drawer front, is out of stock.

My previous Hotpoint Fridge /Freezer was a Hotpoint, and, approximately 18 years old, but was showing signs of wear, so I replaced. I was alarmed, when the delivery driver said, this new Fridge /Freezer, will not last as long, he obviously, spoke from his delivery experience. I have since, the 13th August contacted the CEO Fergus Johnston, on the 18th August, who said, he only controls Ireland Whirlpool, but asked me to email my complaint details, to pass onto correct CEO, which I did. I have had 3 emails from Marion, CEO, support team, on 19th August, 2 on the 19th August, the 2nd claiming, the part is in stock, and, is being posted to me. It didn't arrive, so I emailed Marion, on the 27th August to inform her. She asked for confirmation, that I still had not received, on the 28th August, I confirmed yesterday, I had not received the Front Draw part. Today I have received another Email from Heather CEO, Service Support, who has told me, the part is still out of stock, and no ETA, and she suggests I now contact Domestic and General, to discuss. It appears they are sending me around in circles, with no result. They are using a reference number, now, [protected]

Whirlpool Side by side refrigerator/freezer

I would like to know who the idiot is that designed side by side refrigerator model #WRS325FDAM. The wires coming from the bottom of the freezer door eventually get cut by opening and closing the freezer door. This causes the ice maker to quit working. This is a manufacturer's defect. I am sure that Whirlpool won't do anything about this, but I have had Whirlpool appliances in my entire home for 30 years, but I will never ever buy another Whirlpool appliance as long as I live.

Whirlpool Stove aqua cleaning

This is the worst stove I have ever had in my life I've had white stoves for years and years and years I think my whole married life of 30 years I had a white stove and it was always good self cleaning everything no problems but everything changed to stainless and so we decided to have a whole package of stainless steel and this stove is the worst stove I have ever had the sides were the black are already rusted and falling apart the Aqua clean is horrible it takes me forever to clean the stove. I do it at least three times and by the time I'm finished it's still looks like it needs to be cleaned it's crazy I don't have the strength to do it. The top always looks scratched up and beat up that I got another top to replace it from whirlpool. And within a week it looked just as bad as the first one the finger prints forget it I ain't even gonna go there I would really love it if someone replace the stove for me. Oh yeah biggest problem the door doesn't even close right never did my air-conditioning is constantly running when my oven is on

Whirlpool Complete lack of service / customer care / new appliance out of order too often

Deep apology for such a letter in these strenuous times.
The appliance in question is a refrigerator Whirlpool W79210 OX, bought in Skopje, N. Macedonia (attached is the warranty list). The receipt is also attached (in MKD which equals 550, 00 EUR in a country with average salary of less than 450, 00 EUR).
The appliance went out of order shortly after the purchase (January 2021, warranty attached). The response time for the service was longer than 10 days (we are talking fridge, directly related with safety of the food, not a coffee machine). Service report attached (something has been replaced). That something lasted less than a month.
Yes, we tried the representative / agent directly, and yes we tried via friends of friends. To no avail. The appliance, Whirlpool, is still not working properly. It doesn't cool properly. The food is regularly wasted. There is no response time of the service. No service yet. Still.
The appliance was supposed to be new, at least that's what was paid for. With such frequent defects, one could become suspicious that it might be second-hand sold at the price of a new one. It's just difficult to accept that a new Whirlpool fridge would go off with such a rate.
The fridge is not the first Whirlpool appliance in the immediate and extended family, but it might be the last one.
The claim that market is insignificant could be understandable. Such unprofessional attitude and poor customer care could not.
Kindly ask to accelerate the response / request a return and a new unit. New.
