Wendy’s Cold and soggy food

Went to the drive thru at 4:30 pm on March 12th,22

Got a Jr Hamburger & Sm Fry,Paid &left picked up a fry & was cold & soggy.Hamburger was really cold. Turned around and went right back to the drive thru and told her what was wrong and that I didn't want it because it was gross and no refund. Said I was going to file a complaint & she didn't care. Didn't want anything else because I was really angry at the quality of food they served. So I hope that something is done because what they gave me and I paid for wasn't something anyone should eat

Wendy’s Store etiquette

Hello! Please allow me to share our very uncomfortable experience at your Wendy's location on William Latham Dr. in Bourbonnais, IL on February 9. When we arrived we could see that the dining area was full of people. We parked, went to the door and the door was locked. Fortunately, a group of girls were leaving which allowed us entry. Upon entry it stated a mask must be worn, however, not one person inside was wearing a mask, even the employees. Upon placing our order, we were asked dining or carry out. Dining was our preferred. As we were sitting eating, people were still trying to get inside the door. My son graciously got up to let them in. The young man who took our order came over to our table to tell us that the dining area was closed. I asked if we needed to pack up our food and leave. He replied no, but please do not let anybody else inside. It was very uncomfortable eating while people were trying to get inside and we could do nothing. As we were leaving, some people got inside and were turned away immediately.

Desired outcome: I do wish to get a reply from Wendy's. Thank you for taking the time to listen to our very uncomfortable situation.

Wendy’s Customer Service

Wendy's in Jacksonville, FL on Firestone Rd. They have the worst customer service as far as taking Doordash orders. Today was the second day in a row that I have had to call the restaurant because my Doordash driver was outside the restaurant for a long period of time waiting on my order when it should have been ready for them to get. I had to call the restaurant to get them to even start my order at all. Also, when I called the manager that answered the phone just answered the phone with "Hello" and I did not even know if I was calling the right place or not. I also had to call three times because the manager hung up on me the first two times.

Wendy’s Missing meat from burger (Double Stack)

I placed an order online through the app around 5:40pm since I am at work and do not have a lot of time to spare on my 30 minute break. I scheduled it for 6:35pm pick up and arrived by 6:40. I chose the option to carry out my order but the store has the lobby closed, which is confusing because why have the option to pick up if they only offer drive through. After waiting in line for 10 minutes I finally got my food and drove back to work so I can hurry and eat before 7pm. Upon opening my burger to my surprise all I seen was onions, mustard and ketchup. I specifically asked for no onions and mustard but the worst part is I had no meat to eat. What is the point in a burger without meat? I had to go out of my way to return to the store and ask for my food done correctly and was late returning to work. The manager showed no sympathy and even cursed when I asked her for her name.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund because my food was cold after dealing with everything.

Wendy’s Service

I waited 30 mins at the window to order! And then she said she would be right with me! And then after 30 mins never came back to the window! I called the wendys and she said if I wanted it then I could come in there and make it myself! And then hung up on me! I am floored that wendys really allows this in there restaurants!. This was at store number #5100 @ 3000 owen drive, Fayetteville nc. I had to leave and go across the street to cookout with the line of customers behind me. I am shocked

Wendy’s Wendy's location, Titusville

Went to Wendy's for a lunch break. Went to the Titusville location as that was where we were house hunting. Ran in, grabbed a table, sat down, appeared to be clean, not too busy & naturally everyone needed to use the restrooms. I am mobility impaired & use a cane. Found I needed to hurry to the ladies & was focused on getting there. When I went around the little hall entry, I found myself up to my ankles in "water" that was rushing from under the ladies room entry. I'm so glad that my husband was right behind me because my cane slid & there was no where to go to stop the fall I was about to take. Because I thru my arms out, my husband was right there to steady me so that I did not go down. I'm sure the employees must have heard the commotion because I let out a little screech. No one came until my husband yelled "Hey, we need help, there's a flood back here" An employee came around & she didn't know what to do, simply said, I don't think you can use the restroom! Duh, really? Because of the urgency by this time my husband opened the mens room door & hustled me in there stating that he'd watch the door. Even the men's room had water all over (it was coming in from the ladies room) No one said a word to me afterwards. No, we're sorry. No, are you alright? Nothing. We ordered lunch, ate & left. Move forward, different location, Ft. Pierce crossover from Turnpike to I-95, stopped at Wendy's to get a snack for the kids & use the restroom! I cannot believe that the exact same thing happened. It was not as bad but I guess the restrooms are all in the same location in Wendy's because I stepped right in water. Wasn't as much, wasn't as forceful but again I slipped because the floor was so wet. There was no one to help me this time & I did not fall down but I hurt myself & no one asked me anything or said anything when I told them there was water all over. Nothing wrong with Wendy's food but there is obviously something lacking with the staff that is responsible for building maintenance.

Desired outcome: It would have been nice if I had been offered a complimentary meal, breakfast, something. The 1st time there were 3 of us & the 2nd time there were 5 of us.

Wendy’s Online contact us no response

The employee at Wendy's told me the item was not available and offered me alternative one; which I declined. She mentioned that getting refund would have to done in my end thru app because it was mobile order. I tried to find the option when I got home, but I was not able to find any option for getting refund other than contacting Wendy's.

I have contacted Wendy's regarding bill adjustment due to item unavailability on my mobile order. Order date was 02-21-2022, and msg was submitted thru mobile on following day. This is 03-03-2022; no email response, no phone call response, no automatic refund, no credit on app.

Meanwhile I tried to chat thru app, and it is such a long wait. I looked away my phone to do my own thing, the chat ended; no option to resume. The amount I requested for refund was very small, but this is such a hassle and very awful customer service.

Wendy’s fish sandwich misrepresented

Wendy's on Maryland Rt 108 near Rt 29. Receipt not given, so don't know store number or address. 3/2/22, ~ 12:30 - 1pm

Online photos and display at ordering station show lettuce on sandwich. Sandwich did not have lettuce, had a bunch of pickle slices (too many) and runny tartar sauce which dripped out of sandwich. Description list not too much tartar sauce, but was drippy and messy.

Even if you ask for receipt when handing credit card, they do not give receipt unless you hold up the line waiting for receipt and ask again.

Desired outcome: Truthful advertising.

Wendy’s missing fries

We are senior citizens and don't go out to eat often. We were at the Wendy's at 10101 New Berlin Rd, Jacksonville, FL (Wendy's #[protected]) on 2/19/22, 5:22 PM. We ordered two sandwiches and medium fries. The total was $17.82. We planned to take the sandwiches and fries (we brought water to drink) to eat while watching the sunset at the park. When we got to the park we were very disappointed to discover there were no fries in the bag. When we got home several hours later we called the Wendy's and asked to speak to a manager. I explained that the fries were missing from our order and she rudely cut in saying "Are you coming to get the fries?" I told her "It's 3 hours later. No, I don't want fries. I want you to credit my credit card for the $2.79 cost for the fries. She rudely said "I will NOT give you credit! You can come and get the fries!" Someone needs to explain to the manager that rudeness is not only unnecessary but it kills business. We won't be going to this Wendy's again!

Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a response.

Wendy’s Frosty machine was down, no refund given

At approximately 830 pm, I visited the Weirton, West Virginia store. At the drive thru speaker, I ordered 2 large vanilla frosty's and 3 large chocolate frosty's. Pulled up to the first window and paid in cash for the order (13 dollars and some change). I didn't get a receipt, I didn't think I needed it for frosty's. Pulled up to the second window and was told after a few minutes that the machine was down and they could replace the frosty's with something else. I declined and asked for my money back. I was then told by another young employee that "corporate does not allow us to give refunds for any circumstance". After sitting there for about 10 minutes with all them staring out the window, I just drove away.

Wendy’s Fries/chicken

I stopped at Wendy’s because I normally like the fries. Tonight At :830 Pm (Saturday) O was served cold fries, I went back around drive through and I got fries that were hot and crispy (Lol I used to manage fast food) instead of putting fresh fries down they took the old fries sitting in the basket, dumped them back into fryer to get them hot and crispy (they were so crispy they could have broken a tooth or two. I also asked for a frosty they were out; and I ordered chicken sandwich asked for tomatoe and mayo that did not happen! This Wendy’s store is in New Oxford Pa. I would like a refund or at least replace meal! Very disappointed l

Wendy’s Chili

I absolutely used to love your chili! At it once or twice a week.

Wendy’s in Scottsburg Indiana closed down for remodel when they reopened the chili was different and everyone I’ve talked to don’t like it as before. It’s sauce of the chili is different and it has different beans in it 🤮

Desired outcome: Change your chili back to old recipe, please!

Wendys Chili is not Chili!

Making a complaint on there so called hot line is impossible as well as leaving any complaint, even if the form shows, you waste your time as it is not sent. So, here is the new Wendys in Pea Ridge, Arkansas. They really let the phone righ and ring but sooner or later someone will answer. There all managers by the way and only sorry. we will check out the chili and make sure it is correct and up to our standards. Click!

Ordered the family chili here, not on ther menu yet, but can still be ordered. Beware! There will be no beans or even burger in it! Just a soup like chili taste. A bowl of hot water and chili spice would have been cheaper. As for creackers, they gave a total of six packs for six containers of soup!

Leave e-mail and never get a reply back either. Call, and get hung up on after a few minutes the 800 number. Never a live human just a robo repeater saying thank you and how can I direct your call. Press any number and it just continues with press a correct person you wish to speak too. Save your ten dollars, as I will let you know when they have ral chgili here as I do any other places I decide to family eat out daily. Below address for those that have tried as I have with wendys toll free and e-mail complaint departments.

Wendy’s Charged got nothing

Placed an order for delivery on the Wendy's Website. Never received the order. Wendy's cancelled the order. They stated I would not be charged that it was just a temporary hold by my bank. Wendys charged my bank account for $23 for a Grub Hub order that Wendy's cancelled without a reason. Spent an hour on hold to be told it was the bank holding it, lies by the customer service rep. The charge went through my account over the weekend. I have been on hold this morning 35 minutes so far to get my refund and still no one answers the customer service line. Wendy's illegally charges bank accounts for products not received and they they do not want to answer the phone to fix it. Their error causing charges on my account for other vendors. They never answer the customer service phone number. They lied stating it was my bank holding it.

Desired outcome: Refund of stolen money. Someone to answer the customer service phone line.

It gets even worse. I am at work and since I was on hold an hour and 20 minutes to talk to someone I had my phone on my desk. A woman answered very aggrevated and before I could pick the phone up to explain to her she hung up. Now I am wasting another hour of my life to get my money back. I feel like they are doing this on person with the hopes of people giving up so they can just rape bank accounts. I have never seen anything like this.

Wendy’s Service, food temp, accuracy, item availability, price misrepresentation

I have already had a bad experience during my most recent visit at this Wendy's location, but I was trying to put that behind me and give them another chance. There was no line for quite a while. I came to the drive thru to purchase a maple bacon chicken croissant w/any drink. Usually at the Wendy's at another location in my city, we can have any drink available. At 1701 hardy st, I was told that the only drink I can have is water or minute made lemonade. I have never been told that before. The cashier said that it has never been for any drink except for the 2 she called out to me. She was having a struggle to recall my order out correctly and then even said that I can't have lemonade after just saying that any water is all I could have, assuming that I must've wanted all natural. I also saw on the screen that my sandwich was priced for 3.99 but the receipt says 4.19, that is a misrepresentation of price. I was not informed of any price change during my purchase. I got to the 2nd window because the 1st window was unoccupied. I was grossed out after the cashier charged my card then placed her entire hand over my drink top. Also this is the same hand that open/closes the window and touches the register. That should be changed. I asked her in front of a person who gave the impression of a manager (no gloves on) about when they stop allowing drinks like OJ with the sandwich purchase and she said they have never done that, which is a lie. I have several receipts from the eddy st. Location of me ordering a plethora of different drinks. The sign clearly says any drink, not just water and mm lemonade like I was told. I told her that I have got it before in the past. She did not give a response and closed the window. Went to grab my bag without sanitizing hands (also w/o gloves) and gave me my food. I immediately took my sandwich out of the bag. It was cold. I don't understand how either because there was nobody in line for quite some time before I placed my order. I didn't have time to inform them because I was heading straight to work. I had to warm up my food at my job in the microwave. I work only 2 mins away. My coworkers were even informing me that this location is the worst one in the city. I really am so displeased with this location that I have no intentions of coming back. I once was a regular customer. It shows no decorum nor care. I don't trust what I am told, nor do I trust the safety of my food. I would like to be reimbursed. I also remember that there were 2ppl outside touching things right before I placed my order. I would love confirmation that the cook(s) at least came back inside and washed their hands or placed on gloves before making my sandwich. The service was fast, but only because I feel like that sandwich was already sitting out for a while. The cashier also needs better training to memory recall on what she says to customers as well. There has been a time before that I arrived at this location and I saw workers. I sat at the speaker for 3 mins and no one took my order. They were in there just talking. This place needs to be changed or closed down if it continues to operate in this low standard way

To add on with my 1st complaint. I also feel that the cashier was intentionally telling me inaccurate things in order for me to leave the drive thru with my assumption that she didnt feel like taking the order. This location has a habit of letting people sit at the speaker with no acknowledgement. I also asked for a large (FREE ANY SIZE) drink w my breakfast sandwich. I was told I could only get a small or medium

Wendy’s Theft

Placed an order for delivery on website. Immediately, $22 hold placed on my bank account. Hour and a half goes by. Two texts saying driver on the way. Then 3rd text Wendys cancelled my order. Called the So Lindbergh Store, St. Louis. She said two drivers came they have no order and it is door dash fault. Hour on the phone to be told call Wendys. Another call to Wendys digital Dublin OH to get my money releaded. She said the bank is holding. Today money has cleared my account. No customer service and Wendys steals money from my account on a holiday weekend.

Desired outcome: My money back for food not received and hours on the phone. Reporting to Consumer affairs. This is theft.

Wendy’s Being lied to Numerous times when it is on the webpage.

I went to Wendy's in Iowa City today, got 2 sausage egg & Swiss croissants through the drive thru about 9:00 or shortly after, asked about the free drink with any breakfast sandwich purchase, And I was told that offer had expired. This is the 2nd time I have been told this by the exact same person, after being there 2 days ago about the same time 9:00 or so , different person-an actual Manager, & she told me that the offer was valid for another 4 days, it does not expire until this Sunday the 20th of Feb.I explained to her that I had the issue with this person & she said she had heard about it & had talked to him about it. I called the next closest store in Coralville, & they said it is a good offer until the 21st of Feb. The person at the drive thru was kinda rude & argumentative with me, didn't give me a receipt or his name, wouldn't tell me who the other "managers" were , I don't think he was a manager, as he was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, not a company shirt or anything with a logo on it. Very disappointed with the service at this store, perhaps remove the person in question, or demote them from the position .

Desired outcome: I would like to see this person reprimanded for not being truthful, an apology from the company, & to receive my 2 lg. drinks that I should have gotten with my order.

Wendy’s Drive thru and sweet tea

Agent at drive thru window refused to give another drink after giving two sweet tea's that were not sweet. She gave me a coke to replace my sweet tea but not my sister. The tea was very bad and we were nice and asked politely. Agent told us no with an attitude and locked the window after saying she would call the cops. The cops came understood where we were coming from and went to ask if they would replace the drink. She said, no and we were told sorry and that's it. NO! Customer Service at all. Other agents wanted to give the coke to us and she would not allow it. She was also not the manager on duty.

Desired outcome: I would like four 4 for 4s and an apology if possible.

Wendy’s Theft

On 1/28/22 at 1:30 pm I stopped at the Wendy’s drive thru on Pendleton Pike in Indianapolis. I ordered a single with cheese meal and a large drink. My total came to $9.51. I handed my debit card to the employee in the first window and he stated he had issues with his register freezing. He gave me the card back and I pulled to the 2nd window and handed another employee my debit card. After a few minutes I had my food and card back. The following Sunday my wife was looking at our bank statement online and asked if I spent $39.51 at Wendy’s. I told her no and I sent an email to the restaurant. I heard nothing back and we called our bank to dispute the charge. I attempted to contact the restaurant again and left my contact information and still have heard nothing back. I’m furious about losing tbe $30.00, but I’m even more upset that no one has attempted to contact me. I can’t dispute the charge as I don’t have the receipt. Didn’t think I would have to save a fast food receipt.

Desired outcome: Minimum would like to discuss with someone as I’m sure I’m not the only one this has happened to at this establishment.

Wendy’s Very rude employee, unsatisfied with food portion for the cost, terrible experience

2/17/22 around 1:30pm. University Ave - Columbia Heights, MN

I checked my bag a pond leaving the drive through and noticed that I had not received the two sides I had paid for (extra bacon and cheese) for my baked potato. I had to go back around and get in the drive through again. When I got to the window, I informed her of the items that were missing. She immediately got an attitude and threw the bag in the garbage. I asked for a refund because I did not want to eat anything from a person with that kind of attitude. She refused to give me a refund, said they do not give refunds. The time I spent there trying to resolve this issue cost me my whole lunch break, and I was so upset I could hardly eat. Very much displeased

Wendy’s Mucous in coffee cup during national healthy crisis!

For weeks and weeks I have attempted to contact Wendys Corporate head quarters with "NO SUCCESS!" Weeks and weeks of being put on hold and listening to music and recordings and never getting contact! I even attempted to look up the contact info. for Wendys in Dublin, Ohio. In the past I have always visited Wendys almost "DAILY" for my coffee and other items. On January 16 after I drank my coffee something went by my mouth. It was a wad of mucous which was at the bottom of the cup! A National Health Pandemic and a wad of mucous is in my coffee cup and touched my mouth! I immediately went to the Wendys where I purchased the coffee and asked to speak to a manager.. After I told her about the disgusting mucous I handed her the cup.( I have photos of the mucous in the cup.) She gave me the phone number of the district Wendys manager. After severtal attempts I finally was able to speak with her. She gave me the corporate contact number. Weeks and weeks of attempting to speak to someone in Customer Care at Wendys ended up just listening to the recording and music for weeks and weeks. I still haven't been able to contact a PERSON! So after weeks and weeks of trying to contact the corporate headquarters which Darlen Flores and Mary (Wendys managers) gave me contact numbers I still am getting no contact with Wendys Customer Service. Immediately after this horrific experience with the mucous in my coffee cup, I lost my appetite and had difficulty drinking any liquids. I kept thinking "this is a national health crisis and I had mucous in my coffee cup and it landed on my mouth! This totally unacceptable situation especially during a national health crisis should be addressed immediately.
