I enrolled in email payment reminders with Waste Management but never received any notifications. As a result, my account accrued late charges that could have easily been avoided.
When I called to resolve the issue and asked to speak with someone who could assist with removing the fees, the representative (Divina) hung up on me. That’s extremely unprofessional and not how customers should be treated.
I’m trying to bring my account current and enroll in autopay to prevent future issues, but I can’t do that until these charges are addressed. Customers shouldn’t be penalized for a failure in the company’s own notification system.
I’m hoping someone from Waste Management can review this situation and make it right. I’m happy to update this review if the issue is resolved.
