I am extremely disappointed with the repeated failure to provide the bulk collection service that Bethel Park residents are paying for.
As directed by the 2026 Recycling and Bulk Collection Schedule, I placed two bulk items at the curb on my scheduled trash collection day. Because Monday was a holiday, these items should have been collected by your service on Tuesday. They were not.
I contacted Bethel Park, and the person responsible assured me that she would notify your company about the missed collection. Once again, the items were not picked up. I contacted her again on Friday, and she assured me that she had notified you and that your crews were expected to be working Saturday because of the holiday schedule.
Once again, nothing was picked up.
At this point, I have done everything I was instructed to do, and I have contacted Bethel Park twice to report the problem. There is absolutely no reason these items should still be sitting at the curb.
What exactly are we paying your company for? Trash and bulk-item collection, correct? Then I expect you to provide the service you are being paid to provide.
This is no longer an understandable scheduling oversight. It is a repeated failure to perform the service, despite multiple notifications.
I expect these two bulk items to be picked up immediately. Please also explain why this has happened repeatedly despite Bethel Park notifying you of the problem.
If this is how the contracted service is going to be handled, perhaps Bethel Park needs to reconsider whether it should continue paying a company that repeatedly fails to provide the service it was hired to perform.
Please resolve this by Monday.
