Waste Management [WM] review: The service that won't let you go. The company you can never breakup with. ( 1 comment)

In the less than 2 years we had this service the pickup driver reported we didn't have the receptacle out or were unable to reach our residence 3 times even though it was in place and our neighboring condos serviced by a different company had no issues. They charged me at least $10-15 more a month if I didn't have autopay setup. After canceling, I was charged a $75 pickup fee, $1.99 convenience fee and $14.73 energy surcharge fee. Required to pay my balance in full for the month at that time. The next month they charged my autopay. I had to use their chat to get ahold of them. They cancelled the autopay amount. Then they charged me again for a new amount shortly after. Chatted them again and they canceled the second erroneous charge. Not a week later the balance they said they had canceled was setup for an autopay without my consent. Refused to delete my account or information multiple times. I was told the account goes inactive if I don't use it for a while but they get to have my name phone number and email along with my payment information on file forever and there's nothing I can do about it. Also they apparently retain the ability to set up auto payments for random amounts on my behalf. I regret signing up for this service. They're dishonest and the nightmare that keeps on giving.
