I moved to a new house in Suquamish, WA a month ago.
It took 10 days, 2 contact forms and 4 phone calls for someone to acknowledge my request for trash and recycling services.
It’s been a month and I still don’t have trash cans or recycling bins. Every week they don’t get delivered and then I get a 1-way notification saying they’ll come the next week, but that hasn’t happened yet.
It is astonishingly hard to communicate with anyone at WM. Specifically;
- they have no customer service email
- their automated phone service pushes you to workflows that fail, and there’s no option to speak to someone
- if you use the chat feature in the app, it files a support ticket that takes days to receive a response from. The response comes via a no reply email with a button that says “respond now” which takes you back to a page where there is literally no option to respond
It is almost comedy how bad / impossible it is to contact someone offering an essential service like trash / recycling. It is clearly by design. If you have ANY other option that WM, take it.
