Work days and hours
I work for Walmart in bolton ontario and I have a disability. I was hired when Darko was the store manager and he was a good manager and treated me nice. I worked 2 to 3 shifts a week from Monday to Friday. My shifts were consistent from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm because I need to arrange for special transportation and I am not available to work weekends because I...

Let me start with this.
Walmart.ca:
1. There is no way to get answers to questions about the products you purchase. First, you need to buy the item to be able to contact the seller.
2. And there is no real, normal customer service.
And I wanted to ask about the quality of these slippers. Because this is my second pair of terrible quality. I bought the same slippers for the first time on Amazon.ca - and I had to return them because the soles were peeling off and my feet were covered in black paint.
This time I wore these slippers purchased at Walmart.ca for 2 days: a few hours a day. I have sent the quality of these slippers in the photos I took.
In both cases, it is Chinese production.
Why do both Walmart and Amazon sell such defective products?
Please punish this seller and remove these slippers from sale.
Why is the customer exposed to such trouble and waste of time writing a complaint?
Walmart writes: "the item do not meet your expectations" - what logic!
My expectations: of course it doesn't meet. But does this mean that there are people who are willing to buy the slippers I showed in the photos and wear them?
The photos are clear proof of what you are selling. And this email shows your attitude towards the customer.
I am 73 years old and please respect my age and intelligence.
When I bought exactly the same slippers on Amazon.ca and proved their quality by sending photos - I immediately received a refund.
And other stores treat customers the same way.
I expect the same from Walmart.ca.
Walmart.ca: "we thank you for taking the time to share your concerns to help us improve"
I don't share my fears. I am simply filing a complaint about the terrible quality of the product sold by Walmart.ca. Understood?
Walmart.ca tells me: "we are sending an internal message to the seller and requesting for an immediate refund for the poor-quality item. We request you to wait for 1 business day for the seller's update."
And the discussion has been going on for a month.
Please read again all the correspondence of the Chinese seller to me with his proposals and suggestions.
his proposals - "20% partial refund", then "we offer a 50% partial refund"
and
his suggestions - "if you do not want to save the item, you can resell or give to friends"
And his last message:
"We are sorry for this issue. Please send back the item(s) to the following address:
RMA#WL2023101768747-R01
Zhang Zhen
[protected]
China
We will send exchanged item(s) back to you or issue you a refund as long as your return item has been received. But please note that it could take both of us about one or two months to complete this return issue".
Please forgive me, but I will not waste money on shipping these slippers to China.
I will send him the slippers, he will fix them by gluing them and put them back for sale. I do not consent to defrauding another customer.
This is my second pair of exactly the same Chinese slippers - with the same defects. So they come from one source.
I am asking once again to withdraw these slippers from sale to protect other customers.
The idea of replacing them with a new one is not an option, I will never buy them again.
Will the seller refund my money when he receives the return item? So it will take several months.
Please forget about this solution and blocking my money.
Why should I waste my time on such a discussion, with such an irresponsible seller. Please react and make a decision appropriate to the above situation.
In addition:
Your message left on my answering machine is incomprehensible to me. If you leave someone a message, please record it slowly so that everyone can understand what you are saying.
Please also explain to me the meaning of this email, sent to me 4 times:

Why does Walmart.ca make everything so complicated?
I stand by my decision - I will not send damaged slippers to China. I already explained why.
I am asking again for a refund of the amount paid and not blocking my money.
And I promise you will never hear from me again. I will never shop at Walmart.ca again.
Because this is not my first bad experience dealing with you.
Walmart.ca does not tolerate criticism.

Computer
I purchased a SGIN 15’ Laptop computer from Walmart on August 3, 2023. I spent $275.59 plus 59.00 for protection plan insurance, the seller was SGIN OFFICIAL STORE. At the time I assumed that I was purchasing from Walmart. It had a 90 day return which again I thought it was Walmart return policy. I turned the computer on and it disconnected from the...

I live in Dauphin Manitoba and I think we have the smallest Walmart in Canada. We would like a new big Walmart. Super Walmart would be great. we have been in desperate need for this store for years. This store serves many many communities that that surround Dauphin mb Otherwise people have to drive all the way to Brandon or Yorkton to go shopping which is terrible we don’t have a good selection of anything here and barely any food items. It would be great if we could get a New Store. Thank you so much.
Desired outcome: My desired outcome would be to have a nice new big store with groceries and everything
Walmart visa gift card
I received a Walmart gift card from a friend as a gift. The value of the card was $350. There were several times I tried to use the card and it was declined. Overall, I had a lot of issues with the card. At one point I had a balance and then it seemed to disappear when I went to use the card. I logged in to check the transactions on the card and they amounted to $232.57 which should have left a balance of $117.43. However, the website kept saying there was a zero balance left on the card. I called customer service and after waiting 45 minutes to talk to a customer service rep I was told that they would have to investigate because there was a "known issue" with certain cards. I then received an email from WalmartMoneyCardNotifications that said they were reviewing my issue and would give me an update in 1 business day. That email was dated 9/11/2023 and I never received another email. I tried to call customer service back but now there is no option to talk to customer service. So, I wrote to customer service at the West Chester, OH address on September 25, 2023. So far I have received no response. I would like to know what happened to the remaining $117.43 balance.
Claimed loss: $117.43
Desired outcome: Balance restored to gift card or an explanation of why the transactions do not total the entire gift card amount of $350.
A return. Got ripped off
On November 13th on a Tuesday my husband went to Walmart located. 3075 East Tropicana Las Vegas Nevada 89121. Went to customer service with five cans of diced tomatoes which I remember paying $4 and some change for each can. He did not have a receipt the lady took the five cans and gave him a $9 and some change gift card. I would like to know if I paid $4...

I placed an online order and paid using an evoucher I had in my account from a few moths. I received the item as expected but when I tested it I noticed it was lacking in terms of product quality and sturdiness. It was a shopping cart, as I was trying to assemble it , the wheel snapped off and almost broke. I then decided to return it. The amount refunded to me by Walmart did not include the portion I paid with my evoucher. I called the 1800- customer care and it was like hitting a brick wall. No spirit of customer satisfaction in any of them, no willingness to help customers. It's frustrating and unacceptable.
I asked multiple times about the complaint process and how I could file a complaint, every time I was advised that there is no one else I could reach out to. They hung up on me twice and the click to chat agents avoided my questions and ignored me until the chat got deactivated. Walmart clearly has no regard for customer concerns and are playing by the lowest of all low customer standards I have ever seen or experienced.
Claimed loss: $15
Desired outcome: I want the $15 missing from my refund to be credited to me
Feared for my life as employee almost attacked me!!
I am writing to complain about the rude and abusive behavior of one of your employees at the Walmart store located at 901 Unser Blvd SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. The employee's name is Daniel and he said he was the store manager. But since then I have discovered he was lying. He yelled at me, threatened me, and made me feel unsafe when I was shopping at your store on Friday, September 15, 2023.
I arrived at your store around 11:30 p.m. and I was almost done with my shopping when an employee came over the intercom and said to make final selections because the store was closed. I figured that would be OK since I was right next to my last selection, some yogurt for my grandmother who just had surgery. But as I bent down to pick it up, I heard Daniel scream at me at the top of his lungs "DO NOT TOUCH THAT! YOU NEED TO LEAVE THIS STORE IMMEDIATELY!" I was terrified and confused. I did not understand why he was so angry and aggressive. Normally, the store will give warning announcements like 30, 15, then 5 minutes before closing, but that night they never did.
I looked at him dumbfounded and asked politely "This is the last thing I needed to get. Can I please take it?" Just then, he raised his hand to his hip as if to reach for a weapon and said "NO! YOU CANNOT! TAKE YOUR [censored] TO THE FRONT, CHECK OUT, AND GET OUT!" He was very large and scared me to the point I could not move. He looked like he was going to shoot me or taze me or hurt me with a weapon of some kind. When he screamed at me again, I just left my basket and ran out of there as quickly as I could. I have stewed about this for days even to the point of blaming myself for it. But I have shared my story with a few friends and family members and to my surprise every single person that shops at that Walmart has had the same type of experience with this man. It has gotten so bad at least 4 of the 10 people I have talked to will not shop at that store or any walmart for that matter. So I could not in good consciousness let this go without saying something. I am very upset and traumatized by this incident. I have shopped at this location for over six years now, spending at least $500 a week there. At the time of the incident, I had at least $300 worth of items in my basket. As a matter if fact it might have come out to more because I ended up going to smiths the next day and spending over $300 there. Had it not been for this man verbally attacking me that money would have been yours. This man scared me very much & I will never go back to that store as long as he is working there during hours that customers are n the store nor will my children family or friends. &if necessary I will get a petition with however many signatures required to force him to qt minimum change departments so he is no longer around customers. I know this man has rage issues and will hurt someone if something is not done. I have even been told several stories about times that he almost got into a physical altercation. So it's only a matter of time b4 it goes too far. I'm not sure if you know this area of town or not but it is an extremely dangerous place and should not be tested. Not to memtion no one deserves to be treated like some heathen from off the streets. Or even to be threatened for absolutely no reason I am a loyal member of my community as well as a proud law-abiding citizen and a Avid shopper with you for years including having a Walmart's Plus account as well as getting my prescriptions, car service, eye glasses and all the other services that you offer but all these combined are not worth my safety or the safety of my friends and family.
Then to make matters worse. I contacted customer service through my Walmart plus account and was treated very rudely. I would start to tell the rep what the situation was and they would disconnect the convercation totally after one minute sometimes even less. Not only did they not give me reasonable time to respond to their questions before disconnecting the conversation. But each time they disconnected the conversation it would send me back to the begining or the call Forcing me to start the entire conversation over again with someone else. Showing me that not only did they have zero respect for me as a person/customer but they also did not care at all about this employee that truly holds enough rage inside him to physically harm if not kill another person over absolutely NOTHING.
Then to add insult to injury I tell them that this incident has costed me over $300 as well as forcing me to go to another store that is completely on the other side of town if I want to continue to go to Walmart. Reminding them that I have spent well over a thousand dollars a month there for over 6 years. They want to offer me $15:dollar promo code that does not even work? Really? Is this the impression that u want to give to someone who is genuinely concerned with the safety of her community. I realize that in this day and age you probably recieve a lot of false claims and overreacting people to simple situations. It's one thing to be a KAREN, but it's A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SITUATION when someone who does not have any history whatsoever complaining about anything. And it's even more unsettling that I Was never taken seriously from the begining. Before I could even let them know the full story they were being extremely rude and condescending towards me. I did not deserve that. I did not even want to contact you about the 1st person that had an anger problem let alone your customer supprt department. This entire situation has left me feeling tormented and filled with anxiety.
Over the last 6 years I have spent $15,000.00 to $26,000.00 A YEAR AT YOUR STORE! ( I have the receipts to prove it plus u can look on my Walmart + app to confirm this) But even though I have been a loyal customer to you. You guys can not even show me the common curiosity of listening to what I have to say in its entirety. Or showing me any respect on this matter at all. It's just amazing to me that I can get 3 emails a month that offer $500/$1000 gift cards ( with paid participation) along with many other offers that all come in saying they are to show me what a valued customer I am. & how you guys are aware of how much I spend at your store and u want to show ur appreciation by offering me this that & the other but the moment I try & come to u with a VERY REAL & POTENTIALLY FATAL SITUATION YOU DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO MAKE IT AS DIFFICULT AS POSSIBLE TO EVEN HEAR MY SITUATION AS WELL AS MOCK MY CONCERNS, AND TOP IT ALL OFF BY INSALTING ME WITH A $15 PROMOCODE THAT DOES NOT EVEN WORK.
I realize that u might not take me seriously but here are a few of the most recent police reports regarding walmart store from this YEAR ALONE
(1)July 7, a Walmart worker, allegedly punched a 70-year-old woman in the head and face several times after she asked her to wear a mask. The worker was arrested and charged with battery and disorderly conduct³
(2)May 3, a Walmart employee, fatally shot a customer who tried to help a female colleague that he was fighting with. The employee was also arrested and charged with murder⁴.
(3) Walmart worker knocks out shopper who apparently spat on him.
Sure, I can give you a couple more examples of crimes that happened at a Walmart store. Here are some more:
- In November 2023, a man was arrested for impersonating a police officer and trying to arrest a Walmart employee. The suspect, identified as Johnathan Smith, wore a fake badge and handcuffs and claimed he was an undercover officer. He accused the employee of stealing and tried to take him into custody. He was stopped by a real officer who happened to be at the store.
- In December 2023, a woman was arrested for driving her car into a Walmart entrance and hitting several shoppers. The suspect, identified as June Simpson, was allegedly under the influence of drugs and alcohol. She drove her car through the glass doors and into the store, injuring six people. She then got out of the car and started laughing.

I request that you take immediate action against Daniel and remove him from his current position. And give him one that does not allow him to be around people or customers. He is unfit to work in a customer service environment and he poses a danger to your customers and staff. He needs to be held accountable for his actions before he face legal consequences by going even further with another person.
I also request that you apologize to me for the distress and humiliation that I suffered because of Daniel's unwarranted behavior. I expect you to find away to show me that you are going to take this seriously. As well as show me that u value my business and will provide me with a safe place to do my shopping. Where I will not be insulted harassed or made out to be a joke for trying to protect my community from obvious monsters.
I hope that you will take this matter seriously and resolve it promptly. If I do not hear from you or receive my compensation by December 1, 2023, I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and pursue legal action.as well as contact the press and social media with my story. Making sure to add EVERY SINGLE CRIMINAL COMPLAINT THAT HAS OCCURED AT EVERY SINGLE WALMART IN THE UNITED STATES. Maybe it is best to show just how low a Walmart can be. Because in my research when layed side by side with target or smiths the Walmart will out weigh them in the thousands. So please do something while you still can. The good people are depending on you.

Online ordering/delivery
I placed an on-line order for a number of items with instructions that I wanted delivery to my residence. All my items were summarized including a delivery charge of $14.99 which I was prepared to accept due to the number and weight of my items. Subsequent to placing my order I received a separate invoice for a $13.64 item with a $14.99 delivery charge which was originally part of my original order. The next notice advised me my items would be ready for pick-up at a store, not delivered. I tried twice to speak to their on-line customer service and spoke to different reps and was enquiring about this order being to my home or not, I was cut-off twice and sent to the end of the line (3,3 and then 7) I obviously got fed up with that service and gave up. This morning I tried to call the local store with no luck. It would seem to me "customer service" does not exist at Wal-Mart in any form, I will not be shopping there in the future.
Desired outcome: Delivery of my goods, which have been paid for to my residence.
Walmart Centralia IL selling rotten food!!!
I spent on a pickup order today 11/5/2023 at the Walmart in Centralia IL, two items were out of stock but the female I called to ask if she would combine my two orders and pick the bag of apples and box of breath mints, which were the replacement items I ordered for the outdated items refused to do so and wanted me to sit and wait another 3 hours for them after just waiting 4 hours for my order! The workers there are so LAZY! She said “Well I can’t get them and they won’t be picking it until 8pm”, it was 6pm when she said this! So I cancelled the items. Then three products sent home with me were nothing like the advertised pictures and item! I received the rotten celery, tomatoes that were white and as hard as an apple and a cantaloupe that was not much bigger than a grapefruit! I spend k a year at Walmart and this is how they treat me! I am SICK and TIRED of the hassle of doing returns and horrible customer service! The guy tgat brought all out was skanky with messy hair, he did not smile once, he threw my eggs in the trunk with all and never even said thank you! Now Walmart is charging fees for tips for these lazy [censored] who make more than I did while working my [censored] off for the government and in factories too years ago! All they do is shop then bring it to your car. They used to do this years ago for free! They are LAZY! I will never shop with Walmart again and am reporting all with pictures to the regulators!
Contact lenses
Hello
I'm not happy with my experience at our Canton Texas Walmart which cost me time and money
I turned in a contact prescription to the eye center at Walmart . When I picked up the contacts they said that if there was a problem with the lenses that I would have to go back to my eye doctor . I had blurry vision with the new contracts they made so I made another appointment with my eve doctor . He verified that the contacts that Walmart made were not made correct to the prescription I gave them . The Walmart employment at the vision center told me that the lab was responsible for the mistake . I ask the employee if they check the prescription when the come in to verified its correct she said no . My eye doctor is 65 miles away from me so I has to drive 120 miles round trip on my day off to verified this Please contact me with your response
Thank You

Pharmacy
Dear Store manager,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to you concerning an issue with a prescription filled at the Walmart Pharmacy in Brooks, Alberta, which has led to my inability to claim benefits for necessary medication.
On October 6, I transferred prescriptions from my previous pharmacy in Saskatoon to the Walmart Pharmacy in Brooks. I specifically requested that my medication not be filled until my new job benefits became active on October 15. However, there was a misunderstanding, and my Adderall prescription was filled on October 8. I did not become aware of this early fill until I requested the medication later and was informed it was already waiting for me.
Due to my training schedule, I was unable to pick up the medication until October 22, and I was under the impression that this would align with my insurance benefits period. I have all documentation regarding the fill dates and my purchase date, which substantiate my claims. Unfortunately, due to the fill date being before my benefits activation date, my insurance has denied the claim, resulting in a financial burden of $190.00.
Despite the acknowledgment of the mistake by the pharmacy staff, I was informed that nothing could be done to rectify the error. A note from the pharmacist attests that I intended to wait until my benefits were active, contradicting the stance that no solution is available.
I respectfully request your intervention to resolve this matter. I believe you or the District Manager for the pharmacy have the authority to address such errors and offer a fair resolution. The ideal outcome would be a way to adjust the situation so my insurance can cover the cost, or alternatively, Walmart Pharmacy providing a reimbursement for the oversight.
I have attempted to contact Kim, the pharmacy District Manager via phone and text to no avail. I understand that you and Kim have a demanding schedule, and I appreciate your prompt attention to this urgent matter.
Please find attached the relevant documents for your review. I am confident that we can reach an amicable resolution. I look forward to your response and am available for a discussion at your earliest convenience.
Thank you for your time and understanding.
Best regards,
Jeremy Digness

Fabric/sewing department
I am disgusted that Walmart has replaced the half way decent fabric department with the pre cut fabric aisles they have now. I don’t want to pay for manufacturers to cut and wrap one yard pieces of fabrics that cannot be used for anything other than small crafts. The prices on standard fabrics at your stores have more than doubled. It used to be that...

Walmart does NOT actually sell anything online. I ordered a scooter for $267, they charged my card for $267, and five minutes later they canceled the order. They said that the item is available, but it's standard procedure for them to cancel all first orders due to "unusual activity", and that anyone must order anything TWICE. I am not going to hand them over my money a second time. That sounds very sketchy and illogical to me. They also said that they will take 10 business days (which means 15 calendar days) to refund me. This is obviously fraud. Walmart are con artists.

Oh My LORD! Why is this $4.00 to at most $6.00 item being charged $56.03?
Do you know have people to oversee what is posted on your website for purchase? I will do it, HIRE ME!
This is so unbelievably atrocious, c'mon how could you let this happen? Since you changed your website to allow third party sellers, trying to keep up with Amazon, it has been absolutely sickening and I have sent a couple of complaints about it. I used to be a regular Walmart shopper once or twice a week and now if I come in once a month it's a lot.
Claimed loss: None, I did not make a purchase
Desired outcome: Do something about this and work on improving your website. Like I mentioned above I can work for you weeding this BS from your website, contact me anytime.
Delivery
Placed an order for delivery yesterday and never received it. Found out that they use third party drivers. What is the use of Walmart+ when you don't get your free delivery. And yes I was going to tip the driver if I received good service from them. I don't pretip anyone. Hence if their drivers see a low or no tip they refuse the order. In my case the driver potentially lost a $5 tip in cash for a 2 mile drive from the store. All because the driver didn't see a tip attached to the order. Called Walmart customer service and they said that there is nothing they can do about it. Yet with their plus service you get delivery. And yet you can get no delivery. If the third party refuses than use store staff
Desired outcome: Should use store staff if drivers refuse delivery. Not worth paying for Walmart +

I carried my 2000 Land Rover in to change out a tire for the new one I bought online through Walmart's web site. First, I went to the store to see if they had the tire I saw online, but they didn't, so I bought a new one. When I went to the store this morning around 8 a.m., one service technician said it would be around 9 before they could change out my old tire for the new one. I waited, and around 8.50 a.m. I asked the Technician about my tire change. In doing so, the technician came over after I pulled my Land Rover to the front door, but not in the garage. When I pulled it up, the technician tried to take the lugs lose, but couldn't, so I knelt down and loosen them up myself. In doing so, he said my lug nut was stripped. But the lug nut was seated properly. When this happen, the tech said it was stripped, and the shop foreman came over and said he couldn't change my tire. I told him that was BS. I was really upset, actually mad. So, I ask about putting the new tire on my spare, they did this, and when done, laid the tire against the entry door and walked away, so I had to come over and put it on myself. which was heavy. I put it on and drove off. What was sad, they didn't assist me one bit putting my spare on the truck, And I'm 76
Claimed loss: I will not go back to this location again, because of the lack of assistance for a senior citizen, and the lack of professional help which they could have been better.
Desired outcome: The outcome was very poor in handling my situation, and the lack of assistance they gave me after the new tire was installed
pricing
Visited Norris Freeway, Knoxville TN store. There was a big display of price rollback on several 16oz pasta, which I bought several of. Of course the price did not ring up correctly and I told a clerk. She went and looked and told me that the rollback price was incorrect. As she walked away, I told her that was dishonest, she never cared or responded. Unlike most shoppers, I watch my prices and I'm sure Walmart gets away with overcharging on many prices that are labeled incorrectly. This has happened many times with my shopping there
Claimed loss: no loss, I had all those items credited
Desired outcome: this is just to make shoppers aware--Walmart never seems to get the message and does not care if the overcharge
Sorry but i have yet to find that to be the case in the store I shop. In fact I am confident I can say I never have been undercharged in two years of purchases
Tires service center
10-27-2023 Searched app for tires for my vehicle, took screenshot. I went in and asked if they had any available, assuming these fit my car. The leader helped me and never compared tires to my vehicle. Tires were installed. As soon as I left I could her my tires rubbing. I went back they said they’re the same size shouldn’t be a problem. They determined...
