I shopped at the King Avenue Walmart in Billings MT on September 9, 2026. I was actually shocked: the watermelons were so rotten that they were collapsed inward and the cantaloupes were dirty brown and dry- obviously they were horribly overripe- I needed corn on the cob and it was dry with black kernels exposed- it was nauseating. I did not purchase any fruit at all. Even the containers of watermelon were half filled and shrunk- it appeared they had been in the containers for quite a while. I bought frozen corn and only frozen meats and vegetables. I have never seen the produce this awful and rotting. I love my local store- but how can I shop there wondering if the food I bought is rotting?
Recommendation: Look really carefully at your “fresh foods!”
