We moved to HB approx. 3 years ago, happy that a Von's store was literally around the corner from our home. We had certain check lists and this was one. We have been regular customers to your store, but in the last month a new employee has been added to the Deli section. Shonda, the new manager has an edge on her that won't quit. We were told that things, such as food items were sold certain ways, only it has changed since she arrived, salads with the chicken meals, were not to be given fresh, but we were sent to a refrigerator section where they were pre-packaged. We went to the Mgr. and he called her on it, she reluctantly gave us the salad and thus the cold shoulder started. She leaves the deli section when we arrive, two weeks ago leaving them short handed because then she would have had to help us at the counter. It is just the rudeness she displays, not only to us, but there is an unlying tone displayed with her fellow employees. Not good business to be sniping at her co-workers. I know some of our friends are experiencing the same treatment. I would hate to think that we would start trading at another store. I have never had to write a letter such as this, but after talking with a few friends who are also regular customers having the same troubles with her, and will be contacting you as well. Thank you for letting us vent.
