I had a horrible customer service experience with USAA auto insurance. I tried to reduce the coverage on 1 of 3 cars to save some money but the faulty USAA insurance premium calculator made the overall 3-car cost go up by about $300 a year such that I would have to pay more for less coverage. After over 11 weeks (5/27 to 8/15/2025) and over 9 hours on the phone they did nothing to fix this. 3 supervisors, a manager and a director all said there was something wrong with the calculator and promised to take care of the problem but never got back to me and never did anything. I finally wrote to USAA Member Relations whose advocate named Racquel said that there was nothing wrong with their calculator so the matter was closed. I got an email from the USAA president Juan Andrade soliciting comments on customer service using his email address. My email to him simply resulted in him turning the issue back over to Racquel who again was adamant that nothing was wrong with their calculator.
