Indi bank notified it’s customers that it was ceasing operations on 9/27/23 about two months in advance. On 9/27/23 I received notification that my account was closed. However, on 9/28/23 indi bank accepted my direct deposit from my employer. My card associated with the account was closed so I have no access to the funds. I have attempts to contact them but I am getting no reply. I have been without any money for 5 days and on the verge of death. I will be evicted in 2 days as I need this money to pay rent. My employer said since my bank accepted the deposit there is nothing they can do. It should have been rejected. I have attempted to contact them over 30 times. They are not replying.,
Desired outcome: I need access to my money they stole. I need to be reimbursed for late fees, hospital bills, and counseling.,

There was a fraudulent charge on my account indi blocked my card,then I updated my address which triggered a security review on my account now they're saying they don't know if it's me when I've had the same phone number from this account for years,and to send them messages through the app I have to use biometrics,so there's no way no one else is contacting them,but me but I've unable to access my account for almost a week this is ridiculous once I have access to my account I'm closing it do not do business with them.

I opened a account with indi over 2 years ago. After receiving a bank transfer from my boyfriend indinsaid they were closing my account and sending the money back to the account it came from. Well here we are over 2 years later and I received a check in the mail from indi card services because they had closed my account and the money was still in it. So I called indi to verify that the check was real and in good standing and they told me yes and that I needed to go to the bank and cash it. When I tried to cash the check the teller called to verify the validity of the check and the same person that had told me to go cash it and that it was valid then told the teller that it was a mistake and that she had told me that. When I called again the next day customer service put me through to the fraud department as indi had made a mistake. It seems to me that now that indi is closing its doors they want to keep people's money. I have waited over 2 years with no resolve and at this point I'm wondering if I should seek legal help.
