I’m extremely disappointed with U.S. Bank and the way they handled my business account. The bank put a levy on my account without any valid reason and held my money even though the levy clearly belonged to a completely different business with a different EIN number.
Because of their mistake, my business operations came to a stop — I couldn’t run payroll, pay taxes, or keep up with regular payments. This caused serious damage to my reputation with employees and partners.
I called U.S. Bank many times, but every time I was put on hold and eventually disconnected. No one took responsibility or helped resolve the issue. I’ve lost trust in this bank completely.
My family and I have had accounts with U.S. Bank for years, but after this experience, I no longer feel my money is safe here. I will be closing my accounts and can’t recommend this bank to anyone anymore.
U.S. Bank needs to take accountability and fix their processes before more customers suffer like I did.
