This lady Ana Shaw at US Bank stated that she could do a USDA loan, when we applied for a single-family home in Justin TX. She gave us a prequalification letter without checking the basic requirements of USDA DTI with our income. She allowed us to sign a contract with the builder (Beazer Homes), Asked for the appraisal and underwriting money, then later came back to say that our "Credit profile" was not right for the USDA, that we had to do FHA instead. We then contacted another lender, whom from the prequalification suggested us other less priced properties, stating that the DTI with the first property was too high for the USDA.
Ana was not even honest enough to recognize her flop; she tried to blame our credit score which by the way was in the 700s.
Ridiculous.
Recommendation: Will not recommend if you are doing USDA or DPA.
