The most appalling customer service I have ever had. Rude staff, poor levels of intelligence, scruffy and shocking attitude to customers.

I tried to re-arrange a parcel delivery from the Leicester branch, and failing to get an answer via phone, I dropped an email to them on the email address provided on the card left by the driver.

The delivery was delivered on the wrong day, and I rang them up to say I had emailed them, and they said they didnt bother checking any emails so thats why they didnt know about the new arrangements. They finally agreed to re-deliver at the agreed time, but the tone of their attitude was so poor I knew it wouldnt be and it wasnt.

On telephoning them, they then said the driver had delivered, on that day, which he hadnt as I had been in all day waiting for him, never leaving the office at all, overlooking the main road, and their was no card left. They said they believed the driver as they knew him well, and did not believe me !

On sending someone down to the depot, the parcel was at the depot and not even on the said vehicle that had suppossedly taken it out to deliver and the vehicle was still out on the road, so amazing how the driver thought he had delivered a parcel when it wasnt even on his vehicle.!

No apology from UKMail, they were very rude to the person collecting the parcel, scruffy, untidy, dirty and ignorant.

Why use a company like this, when DHL and UPS provide an excellent service, high level of care, are smart and reliable.

Terrible, appalling service. Claimed to have delivered my Christmas presents from John Lewis on 15/12 and 16/12 - I was in my small flat and couldn't have missed a knock on the door. They claimed to have put a card through the door but didn't on either occasion. Rescheduled delivery for 6 days later, only for that to be late. When I called, it turned out they return items to sender after 5 days. Why reschedule then?! Needless to say they didn't think to reschedule delivery again, or contact me to let me know. These guys are ruining John Lewis' reputation and I will never use delivery involving UK Mail again. Absolutely disgusting service, and no apology or attempt to compensate me - apparently it's not their problem, so apologies and compensation came from John Lewis in the end.

Two packages have been sent from Norwich by UKmail to Lyon in France. I never received any predelivery notice and since I did not get any news I surfed on their website using the tracking number and found out that the packages have been delivered. But here in Lyon no traces of the packages. It has been 2 weeks since I got in touch with UKmail. Each time they told me firrst that the packages have been delivered, then that I will be contacted by the local delivery company (they refused to give me any name, phone number or mail address). Two weeks later I am still waiting...

I would strongly reccomend that if you are a business do not use uk mail as their service is appalling and that they will lie to and mislead your customers.
If you have a delivery date on their customer website print it off as proof as I was told that although I had logged a delivery date of 18th October the girl at their depot says it was the 20th on her computer and she would print it off for me later when I checked their customer page on the web my delivery date had magically changed to the 20th.

uk mail, what a joke i been waiting for a parcel for a full week i paid for next day delivery and the parcel is still sitting in their depot. delivery man told them he tried to deliver the parcel to my address 5 times but i looked out the window and wouldnt answer the door to him, WHAT so why the hell would i pay extra for next day delivery and then not answer the door, oh and by the way the driver did NOT leave any cards to say he called, and when i phoned them up they just said driver refuses to deliver, my reply was sack him then if he is i delivery man who refuses to delivery, the response was he wont delivery so we cant do anything about it. i have been in touch with the seller and he phoned them aswell and they just told him the same thing. UNBELEIVABLE. next time i bye something i will be asking who they send it out with and if its uk mail i will laugh and say no thanks. WORST SERIVE IN HISTORY.

Without doubt, UKMail are the worst delivery company in the UK. Probably the worst in all human history. We need to bribe the driver to come and collect parcels from our office and -- trust me, I am not exaggerating -- 9 times out of 10 the parcels arrive at least one or two days late. They recently cost us a big client who was waiting on stuff we made for them and, as usual, it was late. I use the Glasgow/Cambuslang dept. I'm currently looking for a new courier company. The incredible thing is they are chargin us through the nose for this nonsense, bribes aside -- we are charged for next day delivery when the stuff arrives 4 days after we sent it. I could not be more annoyed and angry with this let-down of a company -- typical British attitude to customer service. I intend to build a webpage devoted to exposing these frauds for what they are. gfost440@hotmail.co.uk

I ordered a pair of large speakers in December which were "delivered" (if that's what you can call it) via UKMail, only one turned up. The driver and customer services said it was never "scanned in" but they did acknowledge collection via the tracking of the item online. They straight up said they had no idea where it was and it was likely the sender never dropped it off and to contact the sender. After doing so the sender promptly sent another speaker, again they acknowledge collection via the tracking of the item online but it was never "scanned in". We are talking about a 4 and a half foot package which would be very hard to miss place. Bottom line is...I still haven't received the speaker, UKMail is rude, surly and dismissive of my problem, irrespective of the outcome I will never use nor would I recommend this joke of a delivery company again. Any business that decides to use UKMails services puts there own reputation a risk IMHO.

I have been expecting a parcel with high value goods since the 10th of December. UK Mail first attempted to deliver to the wrong town and, since being given the correct address on the 13th of December, have allegedly not yet moved my parcel from the warehouse where they put it. I have been on the phone to them virtually every day and they have refused outright to tell me when they are going to deliver it, despite me asking several time (it was supposed to be a next day delivery). Every time they promise to ring me back with information and never do. I am now convinced that they have no intention of delivering my parcel and I have started monitoring eBay to see if I can find the goods that were in my parcel listed there so that I can get the police involved.

I agree with the previous comments supposedly they tried to deliver a parcel twice and left a card on both occasions which they didn't, the company then resent the parcel using next day before 12 delivery. Parcel still did not turn up on phoning the office they told me they would find out where the parcel was and call me back, which they also did not bother to do. It takes several attempts to get through to them on the phone. Do not use UK Mail a total waste of time.

orst delivery experience..delivery person behaved so bad..and didnt handed delivery to me..he was such a stupid person..wht kind of delivery service is this?..so rude..[censor]ing..I was feeling of give a punch on his dirty [censor]ing face..

I run a business and use UK Mail to send our parcels both in the UK and European. We have not had much problem with the UK side, but have now moved to DPD, we do however use UK Mail for majority of our European deliveries, which have been fine up until recently, but now the European delivery partners they use dont have parcel tracking that workd, and are loosing parcels, when complaining to UKMail they dont give a toss, they dont ring you back and service is appauling. We are now going to move all of our business to DPD unless UK Mail start to give a [censor]!

i agree ukmail by far are the worst delivery firm in the uk. If you think you we're treated badly well you should see how the staff are treated, the poor attitude is the becoz of the way the management goes on. the management are rude, hard face'd and dont give a shhhit. Rob earthy, emily arnett her son sean arnett and mo loonat need to get off there power trip
