The most appalling customer service I have ever had. Rude staff, poor levels of intelligence, scruffy and shocking attitude to customers.

I tried to re-arrange a parcel delivery from the Leicester branch, and failing to get an answer via phone, I dropped an email to them on the email address provided on the card left by the driver.

The delivery was delivered on the wrong day, and I rang them up to say I had emailed them, and they said they didnt bother checking any emails so thats why they didnt know about the new arrangements. They finally agreed to re-deliver at the agreed time, but the tone of their attitude was so poor I knew it wouldnt be and it wasnt.

On telephoning them, they then said the driver had delivered, on that day, which he hadnt as I had been in all day waiting for him, never leaving the office at all, overlooking the main road, and their was no card left. They said they believed the driver as they knew him well, and did not believe me !

On sending someone down to the depot, the parcel was at the depot and not even on the said vehicle that had suppossedly taken it out to deliver and the vehicle was still out on the road, so amazing how the driver thought he had delivered a parcel when it wasnt even on his vehicle.!

No apology from UKMail, they were very rude to the person collecting the parcel, scruffy, untidy, dirty and ignorant.

Why use a company like this, when DHL and UPS provide an excellent service, high level of care, are smart and reliable.

4 non-deliveries in a row this week.

Disgraceful company with terrible customer services and a supervisor in Exeter branch who could not be bothered to speak to me - avoid at all costs

i had a reply from uk mail complaints but i got nothing but excuses as to why nothing further was going to happen regarding the shocking behaviour i reported.the new man in charge PETER FULLER must be as bad as his staff i never got a reply from him even though i emailed him directly.uk mail have swept my complaint under the carpet and they dont think they have done anything wrong.this is one company that seriously needs investigating as all the complaints say the say thing about them and all of the people making those complaints cant be liars can they?according to uk mail everyone is a liar.as there is clearly a problem with couriers in general when it comes to making complaints there should be somewhere people can go and get professional legal help to claim back money and compensation when these rogues operate in a shocking, appalling, disgraceful way.it is so easy for them to say they will investigate themselves but do they?i think not.please will someone like a solicitor please set up office especially to take action against these rogue traders people need this help.

What can I say that's not already been said, I can concur that, this shower of [censored] should be sacked, and the company be disbanded. multi drop drivers should know how to route up and deliver, you should have good road knowledge of the route you are given. and you should not rely on a satnav. aka satlost
Having said that if you are a relief driver it's harder, I was a multi drop driver for ten year's, before I get my lgv class two licence. multi drop driving is stressful and yes drivers bare the brunt when it goes tit's up, but like I have said already. you don't obtain a good working knowledge of the roads in the uk, by using a [censored]ing satnv you are not learning the roads ie (your route) by letting a machine do it for you. not only that your driving standards turns to [censored] because your not reading the road or [censored]ing signs either, so you end up, not knowing where the [censored] you are, and you end up turning some poor [censored] into a pavement pizza, and damage the van
[censored]ing bunch of mongs no wonder people are getting a poor service, because these [censored]'s don't know what there are doing. the only driving they seem to be proficient at is driving people up the wall... [censored]ing jobsworth wankers

i too think uk mail are a disgrace and should not be allowed to trade.every number i have tried to contact them on is the same automated message that only gives tracking info and no option to do anything else like speak to a person or make a complaint.the complaints number gives exactly the same options as the tracking number and nothing else.if you do not enter anything and wait to see if any other options are available the phone just goes dead.i live about 5 miles from uk mail depot and cant contact them no matter how i try.i have had a day off work so im home to receive my parcel but when i checked the tracking i am delivery 117 probably the very last drop so i have had a day off work for nothing.i have not had any time window sent me and as i have said already i cant get to speak to anyone.this delivery was supposed to have been yesterday but i had to change it because nobody would have been home to accept the parcel which cant be left anywhere or with anyone.these idiots have cost me a days wages i will not buy anthing from anyone on ebay ever again if uk mail are the delivery couriers.ten years i have never had such bad service anyone thinking of using uk mail would be better off going elsewhere as uk mail are obviously bottom of the list for reliability and customer service.

Today UK Mail delivered a parcel to my home. It wasn't my parcel. It was a parcel addressed to a completely different person at a completely different address. I explained this to him and he was so rude. He shoved the parcel up to my face and told me that he had had to change the postcode because it was written wrongly. I explained no, it wasn't, because this isn't my parcel or my address. He was so rude it took my breath away. He asked me my name, having already typed it in his machine and forgotten it within 20 seconds obviously, and then said oh yeah, I've got one for you. I said well its a good job I looked at this properly wasn't it and he returned shoving the parcel at me saying "whatever luv !" Then he shoved his machine up my face and said well the satnav got it wrong. I was so taken aback at his rudeness I just shut the door. Who interviews these people? How do they get a job of any sort? I telephoned the company where my order was from and told them unless they use someone else I won't have my fortnightly order with them any more and they said they will do something about it because they are a reputable company and don't like this sort of thing. Having looked at other remarks regarding this company it seems they have not shown any improvement and rudeness is pretty high up on the complaints so just happy not to give them my business any more. Horrible delivery person! Couldn't get rid of the one star already on screen but clearly its a no star from me. My advice? You are a delivery service, find some staff with manners !

Unfortunately, they deserve no stars. They used to be good but they one of the worst now.
Once again, they failed to collect. The frequency of this is 2 out of 3 times now.
They no longer respond to inquiries either and the most annoying feature is that they send you an 1 hour time window for collection or delivery which seems to serve the purpose of mocking us as they never ever honour.
Sorry UK mail, but you have become a bit of a joke and this was my last booking with you.

Absolutely disgraceful service.
I received a card through my door 2 days ago and went online to try and reschedule delivery but the system could not find my details. I then rang to try and reschedule but got an automated service which, when I put in the card number it came back with a different postcode. I then managed to get through to speak to someone (a rarity from what I've read!) and they could not find the card number or my postcode on the system. He said he'd contact my nearest depot and get back to me, which he didn't. I then retried the automated system with the postcode that was quoted only to discover that it was a totally different parcel that was delivered the day before I got the card through the door. I was lucky that a short while later I got a knock on the door and my parcel was delivered but it does beg the question why the guy I spoke to couldn't find my postcode on the system. Absolutely shambolic company and would not recommend to anyone. Neil.

I totally agree with all the comments which say that UKMail is an appalling company with an appalling service. I received an email today telling me that my parcel would be delivered between 15:14 and 17:14. I rearranged my whole day in order that I would be home before 15:14, which I was. This rearrangement involved several time sensitive duties I needed to carry out because my Mother has very recently passed away. I got back home at 15:07, ten minutes before the earliest delivery time. There was a card through my letterbox stating "We stopped by to deliver your parcel", but with absolutely NO details filled in on it at all. I then logged in to my emails and found another email from UKMail stating that they had tried to deliver my parcel at 14:40. Yep, that's correct! 14:40. No less than 37 minutes BEFORE they said the earliest delivery time would be in their original email. When (Initial) CityLink went bust I thought that the UK's worst delivery company was dead and buried. My nickname for them was Initial [censor]Link. It seems that UKMail have happily taken up the challenge of being the UK's crappest delivery company. Congratulations UKMail, you must be so proud?! I am currently in the process of suggesting to my boss that we blacklist UKMail and ask that our partner companies do the same.

WOW! I don’t think if ever seen such consistent negative reviews, and I totally agree with them all.

Rude, ignorant, arrogant staff who just can’t be bothered to do the job they are paid for. I called a courier who had dropped a parcel off at the wrong address, the response was appalling, he simply didn’t care that he had left at the wrong address when there was even a contact telephone number for the addressee printed on the box and totally different company delivery name as the address?! I had to go out of my way to contact the addressee myself to ensure they got their parcel... Well done that U.K. Mail driver.

UK Mail you clearly have a major problem with your staff and service in Exeter, however your senior management at head office are utter arrogant [censor] too, so I doubt your business will improve. Just close down and let your competitors pick up the business and provide a decent service level you’re not capable of providing. You’re a complete joke!

My parcel, arrived late, on a day when I wasn't in (no card left) has been labelled as "wrong address" even though obviously the driver arrived to my door!I spoke to the driver in person and he said he didn't know anything about the company, he was covering for someone..I am still waiting for my parcel

Was sent an important package via UK mail.
I received a tracking number.
i had queries as to what would happen to the package if i was not in SO i rang their customer support number.
It is impossible to speak to anyone. you only have the option to track the package arrange a different date or pick up from a depot.
there is no one to speak to, as promised by the website.
I was not in as was at work.
i recieved a card through the letter box with only a number on it and none of the details filled out on the card.
the card stated you could go online and choose an alternative like a neighbor or safe place of deliver ... which I had. But when you go online you do not have these options. my only option was to arrange pick up from a depot. I chose this without first being told which depot.
Now i have to drive for an hour after work to pick up the package myself.
Rubbish service which promises the right things/ options but these options do not exist and there is no one to speak to ...as expected because its indefensible. Rubbish.

Rubbish Service, tracked my order at 4 o'clock said I was 44 drops away so I waited and waited oh and waited so now its now 9pm still hasnt came so I've tracked it and says at 6pm was back at warehouse and now asking to we arrange delivery I've been waiting in all this time! Secondly this is not the first time U.K. mail have messed up my delivery, At xmas time I waited for my delivery all day no show again so I call there office and they was saying I wasn't in when I was at home, and never guess what they told me they lost the delivery then two days later they find one part of the delivery and it had been sent back to sender, so the sender resend it out with the other bits that they lost and it finally came damaged and no one is taking responsibility that was a £1500 Worth of equipment that was damaged that o ended up paying £250 to repair it,
I've now decided any company that I buy from using UK mail I will not be buying from a company unless they use somebody else

I have waited 10 days for an important parcel to arrive and am still waiting. The promised next day delivery (as printed on the calling card) never happened. I arranged online for the parcel to be left with a neighbour. After following the progress online and 3 failed delivery attempts, I finally called the customer number and eventually spoke to a human who assured me on Wednesday that the parcel would be with me today (Friday). I rang today to check that the driver was on his/her way and was informed that the driver apparently had just left my property (although I'd been at home all day and there wasn't a calling card in sight). They then promised it would be delivered after 4 pm on the same day. However, when I followed up at 4: 30 pm, the parcel was already back at the Croydon depot and the driver had clocked off work for the day. Absolutely ridiculous- please do not use this inefficient, incompetent so-called delivery company-UK FAIL!

This company is the most user unfriendly I have come across, it is impossible to speak to an actual person and the system is very inflexible.

I have rearranged a parcel delivery 5 times without success and became more and more frustrated and angry with each failure to deliver.
There seems to be no provision in the system for contacting them by normal email and the telephone response is a mechanical voice which, after entering the 14/15 digit consignment number, gives a terse reply and an even terser goodbye. When you access "Manage Your Delivery" you get minimal information which is often confusing and self denying. In all this there is an absence of politeness no thank, thank you for calling or please
There are no facilities for disabled people who cannot use or own a computer and having to enter that long consignment number is the stuff of nightmares for old or handicapped people

Ordered a number of items from Amazon, all of the came except one which was my daughter's main present for Xmas and difficult to come by in local shops. Contacted seller by the last expected day of delivery and they gave me the consignment number. Accessed UK Mail website to find confusing information stating it was due to be delivered on the 12th December but the entry for this was on the 14th? Accessed telephone line but it's all automated, no way to speak to an actual person and when I entered the consignment number it told me it was due for delivery on that day. Messaged via the website and got a response stating that it had been delivered and taken in by a person. I checked with another address closeby and she confirmed they tried to deliver to her twice but she kept telling them they should try my address but they wouldn't. I contacted them again and didn't get a response back until 23rd December saying they closed the case and refer to seller. The seller has actually been amazing but this company didn't even offer an apology for the crap service and the non-existent customer service... I'm not usually a person to put in a complaint but I had no other choice!

Afraid to say they are still up to their old tricks. Ukmail have no customer service, dishonest deliverers, and a shoddy attitude. I waited in for a delivery only to have a card put through my day saying they had missed me before I was aware they were there, and then a text message to say they were on their way and another (whilst still fuming about the card) saying they had just tried to deliver (at a different time) but missed me. My complaints were neither acknlowdged properly or dealt with - other than through an email saying the case was open and then another saying it was closed. A terrible, deceitful firm.

A parcel was claimed by tracking page to be left behind gate. It was not. We had been in all day. I rang them and they said the driver had delivered it. No further information was given. After 4 phone calls, They said it might have been delivered to the wrong address but they did not know. After another 2 phone calls they said it was delivered to the wrong address but would not tell me where. There was no excuse, The parcel was clearly labelled with the correct address and post code. This postcode is exclusive to our street. They are useless. DO NOT USE THEM!

This is my first experience of them. They are a disaster. Did not deliver on the same day they said they would. After 1st phone call they said the computer was down and there was nothing they could do. After 3 more phone calls they said they would call back all 3 times within 2 hours and never did. Their website did not reflect where the parcel was correctly. They questioned my address which has been perfectly fine with other companies for 25 years. Really atrocious. I will do everything I can to avoid them.

Shocking company, out of 5 deliveries I booked through them, twice the driver didn t turn up on the scheduled day, and once he was after he 8am-6pm time zone. Extremely hard to call them, when you do get through the person on the line can never help or even find out anything and apart from telling you to wait they are useless.
I would, recommend everyone to steal clear of this company, they have lied to me on occasions (claiming the driver had passed when they hadn t...) and been a huge waste of time.

So I've just rang up to rearrange a delivery which cannot be done as it is the sender that has to organise this...ok yes a backwards policy and completely random as everyother delivery company is more than happy to rearrange times but this is not the main complaint.

The primary problem is every singe excuse the customer services use to fob off customers. one example is enough- mid phone call when i was informed that redelivery times simply do not exist I asked the advisor to wait on the phone so that i could phone my partner and see if we could make sure someone could be in all day. She then promptly told me that i could not do that as their own phone systems cut customers off after a couple of minutes so they can get through all of their calls! Well i have 2 issues with this- firstly if they just cut off calls so that other customers are not waiting in a que why oh why did it take me 35mins to get through when i was told at the beginning of the call that i was 8th in the que! IF U CANNOT GET THROUGH ALL YOUR CALLS EMPLOY MORE STAFF DONT JUST CUT PEOPLE OFF.

And secondly- my friend runs an electronics business and she is looking for a delivery service- she will be paying about 50k a year in delivery costs...however uk mail have just lost out of that 50k because i am now going to warn her that she will probably be cut off during her call setting up her service with them as uk mail dont actually value their customers they just want a big board in their call centres saying all calls answered within target time. I have worked in call centres for years and i have never heard so much gumph in my life. i would get a formal written warning if i cut off a customer saying that our system does it automatically. the only time i am allowed to cut off a call is if a customer has sworn at me 3 times...something i wish i had just done to that idiot then!

Use a different service. i ordered a package using next day delivery and was told the day of the delivery. that my parcel had missed it connecting vehicle asif the parcel had its own set of legs and wondered off. rather than blame there over sight or laziness they would rather blame the package for missing its lift? no reasonable explanation was given nore refund. these people have no customer service skills or reliability! DO NOT USE !

UK mail left a card through my door saying " sorry we missed you "
so I went on their web site and arranged a safe delivery point for the next working day. Simple - or so I thought
My parcel did not arrive and I was in all day !
So I tracked the parcel (on their web site) and it said it had been delivered and signed for! so I asked by whom ( via their web site ) and apparently my next door neighbour . So I called in to see my neighbour and they had no parcel for me! So I contacted UK mail again ( via their web site ) and all they would tell me was that it was delivered. IT WAS NOT DELIVERED TO ME ! AND IT WAS NOT DELIVERED TO MY NEIGHBOUR
I tried to call them, they even sent an automated response to call them but the telephone number was fake. Their customer services number is fake . Their head office number is fake. You cannot talk to anyone
If you research the internet you will see lots of other people with this complaint
I have tried 3 times now to follow this up via their web site but NOTHING
So what is the outcome ...
NO PARCEL, NO HELP, NO SERVICE, They don't give a damn, their customer has paid them but actually delivering the parcel ... well that appears to be irrelevant.
VERY VERY BAD - Spread the word

Do NOT use UKMail ... next day delivery 8 days later many emails saying parcel delivered, many calls to their "customer services" who then advise that it hasn't been collected. Three attempts to log a complaint through their website receive an email ... we will get back to you in the next 24 hours ... nothing and then an further email to say the case is closed! Spoke to the person who has the parcel and they have seen no-one since I advised them that the collection had been booked. They now inform me that they will try again on Monday (12 days later) as if they are doing me a favour! £7.90 wasted on a service that is shocking, people who are down right ignorant and a customer complaint weblink that isnt worth the code its written in. Use anyone just not UKMail.

We are totally infuriated by uk mails own complaints system.
We ordered an item off e bay and when it did not arrive contacted the sender to find out what was happening. The sender replies stating that he had spoken to uk mail and they had confirmed that the item had been delivered and signed for. He even sent a pdf copy of the signature which was not mine. We had not received the item at all.
I then tried to contact uk mail by phone but found it impossible to get through. I then e mailed uk mail complaints and got a reasonably quick reply stating that it was up to the sender to chase up. I contacted the sender who said he would case up which i think he did but has now washed his hands of the problem ---- which is frustrating.
I then e mailed uk mail giving them all my contact details a requested that they or better still the delivery driver made contact in order that we could find out what had happened with my delivery. I always when contacting uk mail gave them my consighment number.
I received an e mail from uk mail stating that a note had been put on the file and at the very same time received annother e mail stating that the case was now closed. this has now hapened several times and is a farse. Is it just a no reply computer that deals with complaints from this company?
Getting fed up with dealing with this company but will keep tyring all angles as i hate poor servise and lack of interest in resolving problems.
I have, since encountering this issue, been told about major problems with this company delivering computers, or not delivering computers to medical practices in Edinburgh resulting in a driver being sacked----- hope this was not the driver that was supposed to deliver our item.
One of the worst delivery companies that i have encountered which i will never use again and if i know that a supplier is using this Co request that they use another or refuse to deal with then !.

Having waited expectantly for a parcel yesterday with no luck, i received an email today from UK Mail stating that they would deliver today between 1106 and 1206, i Thought hoorah. At 1310 i called to check as i have had this problem with UK Mail every time that a vendor has sent something via UK mail. The automated tracking service did not work and i was diverted to a human being (well i call him that very loosely) he was not rude, but he did sound totally disinterested. i was told that the driver could not find my address (funny that DPD/DHL/UPS and every other service can) and that the driver had called my phone to ask for directions. That was a blatant lie as my phone had no missed calls or messages from anyone today. When confronted with this, his only response was a none genuine sounding SORRY FOR THIS, i wonder how many times a day they say that hollow statement. My house is on the main A59 with 2 very large stone gate posts and a large house name plaque on them. If i offered the same service to my clients and the level of lies that this company tell, then i would have no customers or income. The guy on the telephone said WELL, WOULD YOU LIKE TO COME TO THE DEPOT NOW TO PICK IT UP which is a 20 mile round trip for me and 2 hours out of my day. What the heck is the point of a courier service that does not courier and does not give the service which they are paid to give. This is Tantamount to fraud and the sooner they go bankrupt the better so that honest retailers cannot use their dreadful non existing service.

After being away on the first delivery I called to re-arrange delivery. The day came with no delivery - I called again and was promised delivery next day prior to 9:30 along with a call back to advise why it wasn't delivered. No call back - no delivery. Called again with 3rd delivery promised after the weekend for Monday with text alerts. No Text alerts and no delivery. Called again and apparently the consignment is now damaged and still in the depot. Promised to call me back with an update. Nothing.
The website has only 5 entries and this parcel is totally untraceable online. This is easily the worst example I've seen of a 'delivery' company and I would go near them given the choice. Hilariously their website online complaint form doesn't work by failing the email field. This company is a joke.

I buy online, 2 of the sellers used UK Mail and on all occasions, including rearranging delivery, they failed to deliver to my address. Then they tell the customer that they attempted delivery which is a lie. The items were returned to the sellers 2 weeks later who had to issue me a refund. I have an entry phone system that connects to my mobile phone when anyone calls so I do not have to be at home to know when someone calls at my house, this is how I know for sure that UK Mail never even called at my address. I was home anyway not that it made a blind bit of difference. If you try to contact UK Mail online, the forms do not work. For some strange reason they do not have an email address, I suppose if they had an email address, they could not keep up with the amount of complaints they generate so they have a website that blocks complaints instead. UK Mail strikes me as a company that puts more effort into returning items to senders than they do in trying to deliver to recipients. From now on, I for one will not deal with online sellers or traders that use UK Mail, all they do is waste your time and cost you more money trying to chase them up.

Completely agree
We have been using UK-Mail for our business for just over 6 months and service is terrible. For us our online reputation is key as w sell online on platforms like eBay and Amazon. Within a short period of time, we have had issues where the parcels have been lost or delayed. We can understand that this could happen with any courier company. However, it is frustrating when you report these issue and the customer service don't do any thing about it. I mean, they are not even apologetic, never-mind taking responsibility and actually sorting the issue out. We would not recommend UK-Mail to any business. Waste of time and money!

Only good thing about them is the driver who collects the parcels (Silvano).

This is the worst and most unhelpful delivery service in this country. I was sent a text to say that my parcel would be delivered at a set time. I contacted UK Mail after 2 hours to find out where it was. I was told the driver could not find the house because the postcode was wrong. I asked what postcode they have for delivery and it was the correct postcode. UK mail was very unhelpful and didn't seem to care about this problem. Obviously this driver did not have sat/nav as it would bring him to the correct address.
I contacted the sender and she was very helpful, even checking the postcode on google maps to make sure no error had occurred. She has sent an email to UK Mail but it will be a complete waste of time as UK Mail are not at all interested in Customer Service. My advise to everyone is this...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

My parcel arrived but I was suspicious about the package condition. It seemed to have suffered in some way, so, as explicitely instructed by mail from the seller, I asked the driver the time to check the goods for any external damage, that he refused if I didn't accept it first. I proposed him to accept but could he wait while I was checking it? He refused as well. I didn't have other choice than blindly accetping or refusing the parcel. I chose to accept it and of course, inside was a disaster. No need to say that he was already long gone before I could tell him. I had to call and complain to the seller who got me a replacement for the next day. The next day, the same guy came to deliver. I told him it would have been better if he let me check it correctly the first time. Then, based on my first experience I asked him to check it before accepting this time. And again he refused! This time I was ready, expecting the answer, and I made my way straight to the parcel and proceed to open it. He tried to physically prevent me to open it !. I pushed him back and advised him to back off. I told him he was standing on my property, and this parcel was my property as well. I don't care what policy this company may have or not, the only one in force here is mine. It would be time that people realise they have rights as customers, and couriers should realise that they are paid provide a service. This service includes carrying safely goods that don't belong to them, and satisfying the seller, AND the receiver.

UKMail are hopeless or worse,
This is an email I sent to Dell Computers

Thank you for your telephone conversations today, I have now received the delivery today but would like you to forward my complaint regarding UKMail to your senior management.

The way UKMail have failed, has caused me a lot of trouble and wasted time as well as frustration, they are totally un professional un helpful and do your company a disservice, I would go as far to say that they or some of there staff deliberately made things difficult.

I was sent a text to advice delivery would be on Wednesday 14th Jan. between 12.35 & 13.35.
So we arranged to be in from 11.00 am but the driver arrived at 9.30 am and left a " we're sorry we missed you " card with a reference to manage the delivery on line, but the reference did not work so I had to phone them.

The delivery was rearranged for Thursday 15th between 15.22 - 16.22 there was someone at home all day inside and our gardener was outside, we called UKMail again and were told that they tried to deliver at 1.49 but we were in at that time and we do not believe they actually tried to deliver, they also did not leave a card, they said it was still possible that it could be delivered up to 8.0 pm that night but it was not.

I phoned on Friday 16 th in the morning to be told that it had not been placed onto the delivery van in the morning by mistake !
I asked if I could arrange to collect it from them that day from the depot where it was, which would have been a 50 mile round trip, but was told they need 24 hours notice before a collection could be made. So I would have to wait until the following Monday.

I phoned again on Monday to find out that they had made another mistake and it had not been placed on the van !
I think the driver is / has been deliberately messing us about.

I requested a phone call from the driver an hour before the delivery, which they agreed to arrange.

I called today in the morning after receiving there text and asked that they call me before the delivery, and was told they have noted my request but could not guarantee I would get a call, however I did receive a call from the call center and managed to meet the driver as he finally arrived.

Please note there is no problem with the delivery address it is correct.

Note we have spent a lot of wasted time trying to receive this delivery, numerous mobile phone calls to there call center, and also a lot of precious time having someone in to take delivery.

They UKMail send text messages advising anticipated delivery times, but they then state it is only a guide.

They have a very bad reputation and bad attitude.

We have had numerous deliveries over the last month all without any problem, the only problems we have had in the past has been with UKMail and possible the same driver.

Due to there incompetence I have had to wait a whole week for my new laptop.

What will I do next time I order a laptop for myself my wife or my Sons ?

Maybe I will have to shop locally, this would probable prevent me from buying a Dell Laptop.

I feel we deserve compensation for the awful poor service from UKMail and ask that you make some form of compensation to us and deduct the cost from UKMails account on our behalf, furthermore, use another delivery company please.

I look forward to hearing from you and thank you for trying to assist with this matter.

Regards

If you are in the Newcastle / Durham area, do not use UK Mail. One of their drivers' "attempted deliveries" are wholly fraudulent. They simply shave off an hour or so of their shift at your expense, purporting to have 'left a slip' / knocked at the door. An absolute disgrace!

UK Mail is the most unreliable and untrusted delivery company. I am expecting a parcel, and for the last two days, my schedule was completely disrupted. They send notification that the delivery man will be coming within the time specified, I am like an idiot looking at the window waiting for a delivery man to show up, track my parcel using their manage your parcel but it doesnt show any result. I called and email them several times in a day and they told me to wait until 8pm, only to find out later when they update their system that the driver came and nobody was home and he left a card! What a big lie! I called the following day and they offer no explanation or apology. We schedule for redelivery a day after as I have an important appointment on that day, only to receive notification on that day that they are going to deliver on that day. I hurriendly went back home travelled 2 hrs and did not finished my appointment only to be left frustrated again as there is no delivery came. Its the third day now, and they told me they will deliver today but they did not know what time. This is unbelievable!

Individuals and business should stop using this delivery company as it is completely rubbish!

I'm not really in a position to talk about UK mail's delivery service - because it didn't deliver.

UK Nail collected on the Friday (12 December) for delivery on the Monday (15 December). Tracking on the website showed it as 'delayed'. I rang - and it took ages to get through and they said that would do a search for unidentified items at the depot and get back to me. They didn't get back to me so I don't know if they did a search but when I rang back again (and it took ages) I was told that it had been lost and then I should get the sender to put in a claim.

I then got an e-mail telling me that it was the sender's fault and it may not have been collected ( as it's pantomime season: oh yes, it was!) " Our records show that your item has not yet been passed to ourselves by your sender. Please contact your sender for further information."
I then got another e-mail telling me "We are pleased to confirm that your case has now been closed." So they are pleased they lost my parcel.

I sent an e-mail to their complaints person. I've not heard anything. I don't expect to.

Totally agreed, I've received text confirmation from them for my delivery will be delivered on Monday. No delivery on Monday, only found out via their Web site that the delivery has been delay by one day. Tuesday came and got, still no delivery. Tried to contact them, no answer. Only got a standard auto e-mail reply. Today is Thursday, still no delivery, no response and no update on Web site either i.e delivery status "delay", delivery date still showing Tuesday gone! Absolutely rubbish, I bet their excuse will be due to high volume demand.

Looks like I have to add my name to the list of aggrieved non-recipients. Rubbish web-site, long waiting time on the help-line and when I finally get thru', I am assured delivery will be made tomorrow, the next day. Depot finally call me late in the day to say "Oh no, that's wrong, we've returned the parcel to the sender, tough." - I guess I am now going to have to make a credit card claim to get my money back. Not sure what the answer to on-line shopping is now - I have had Citylink forging my signature and that was a struggle to resolve to - DPD don't seem too bad, the rest can go and hang themselves. It's about time the on-line retailers took a tight hold on the couriers they use and demand a quality service.
