Flight tickets double charged.
I have been charged twice for my tickets.
I was charged £1,244 for changing my ticket as the tickets were reissued by the Expedia agent .
On the 30th July 2023,
Only to be charged again for the same amount £1,244 by Turkish airline on Tuesday 01/8/23.
I have provided the proof of these two payments to Turkish airlines however they are still arguing they’ve done nothing wrong. I need he’ll in resolving this please. Thank you.
Objection against turkish airline's refusal to pay compensation for flight delay and baggage mishandling
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and objection to the Turkish Airline's decision to refuse compensation for the inconvenience I experienced during my recent flight with your airline. On [13/7/2023], I had a booking with Turkish Airlines, Flight [661], which was scheduled to depart at 8:30] from [Istanbul airport] to [Tunis Cartage airport].
The ordeal began when the flight was significantly delayed by more than two hours, causing considerable frustration and discomfort for all passengers on board. Delays of this magnitude can be highly distressing, loss of valuable time, and additional expenses for passengers.
As if the delay was not enough, my baggage did not arrive on the same flight, further exacerbating the situation. I was left without my belongings, including essential items I needed immediately after arrival. Unfortunately, my bag arrived on a separate flight more than 7 hours later. This mishandling of baggage is a clear violation of the airline's responsibility to ensure the safe and timely delivery of passengers' belongings.
What made matters even worse was the financial burden I had to bear due to the airline's negligence. As the delay and baggage mishandling disrupted my travel plans, I had arranged for a taxi service to pick me up upon my arrival at [destination airport]. However, due to the prolonged delay and the non-arrival of my luggage, the taxi had to leave after waiting for an extended period, which was completely out of my control. Consequently, I was forced to rent another taxi, incurring an exorbitant cost that could have been avoided if Turkish Airlines had upheld its commitment to quality service and punctuality.
I must emphasize that these inconveniences were entirely the result of the airline's shortcomings and not any fault of my own. I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise in the airline industry, but it is the airline's responsibility to handle such situations professionally and compensate affected passengers accordingly.
I kindly request that Turkish Airlines reassess their decision to deny compensation and consider the undue hardship and financial strain I endured due to the flight delay and baggage mishandling. I expect the airline to adhere to the guidelines and regulations set forth by relevant aviation authorities and provide appropriate compensation for the troubles I experienced during my journey.

TSA for TK 179
My disabled son has to transfer to his shower chair in order to take a shower.
We travel the world and have never had a issue on any airlines.
The TSA supervisor opened up the shower chair and threw all my son's tools that put together disabled shower.
I took a picture of his badge and he grabbed my cell when I told him I didn't take a picture of him.
My sons shower chair is useless now and replacement is over $2000.00.
It was apparent this employee did not like Americans especially disabled veterans.
He told us we were not going home to Los Angeles until I provided the oicture I took of his badge.
I will be contacting the Embassy and Veterans affairs.
Desired outcome: Reprimand this awful employee and replace tools for disabled chair.I will send you badge of employee upon request.
Flight TK 1956-upon arriving in Turkey for a connected flight to Los Angeles TK 179 the airport employees took our passports and would not give back until we boarded connecting flight. I told the airline clerk that my disabled son needed a airport transfer wheelchair onto the airplane since he cannot walk at all.
I was totally ignored for (2) hrs. A worker told me when I went to the gate for flight TK 179 that I had to request transfer chair from that gate. My son was wheeled to the wrong gate and we all had to walk from gate to gate until they could figure out where we were going.
Once we were at correct gate the boarding of passengers had been in process. My son was still waiting for transfer chair. The clerk for this gate was rude, condescending and discriminated my disabled son. He told my son he would go on flight last. Another lady was now shouting at this clerk about her disabled wheelchair bound mother also being ignored. I have (4) witnesses that can attest to this appalling behavior from this employee. A supervisor was called, and he was as bad as the clerk. He was yelling at all of us. We were treated very poorly. Of course, the fact that we were all Americans didn't help us. Two of your employees who could speak broken English and were very upset with our treatment.
Once aboard this flight a baby sitting next to me cried for over 8 hours. Not one attendant would assist this frustrated situation. One lady got up and yelled about crying baby. We were all miserable.
After we were served dinner, the flight attendants were not around at all. My disabled son needed water, I had to get up and go to attendant's station. At least 5 attendants were standing around eating ribs and fresh fruit that a onboard chef prepared for them. I ate hummus that was awful. Why should attendants eat and ignore passengers. I got up and told attendants they needed to do their job. They argued with me. I told 3 different attendants that I and other passengers wanted to speak with Captain one airplane landed.
All attendants gave my son and I dirty looks and ignored us.
Once airplane landed before we got off, I asked to speak with Captain again and was told he left the airplane.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you regarding a serious issue with my purchase of 3 round trip tickets from ASAP Agency for trips from SFO to Vienna, Austria in July of 2022. The tickets were supposed to be valid for one year and included airline incidental protection for an extra $100 per ticket. The tickets were for me, my wife and my son, who was going to stay in Austria for nine months to complete his Fulbright research. My wife and I returned after 10 days, but my son planned to return this July 2023.
However, when I contacted ASAP Agency on June 2, 2023 to book my son's return flight for July 16, 17, or 18, I was shocked to hear that they wanted me to pay the following fees:
- $405 admin fee
- $270 no show fee
- Any fare difference fee
The total amount they asked for was $2031 for a one-way ticket, in addition to the original purchase price that I had already paid. This is outrageous and unacceptable, especially considering that I found one-way tickets from Vienna to SFO from other airlines for around $1000. Since my son's study was finished and he needed medical attention due to a surgery he had in Austria, I did not want to delay his treatment and decided to buy a return ticket from another airline for $1090.
I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with ASAP Agency's service and their failure to honor my return ticket from Turkish Airlines. I request a full refund of the fees they charged me and a compensation for the trouble and inconvenience they caused me. Please respond to this email as soon as possible and let me know how you plan to resolve this matter.

Lost my suitcase and did not tag my suitcase and lost my boarding pass
I was on a Turkish airline flight from Istanbul International Airport to San Francisco International Airport on the 28th June 2023.
Flight number: TK0079
As I step onto the plane in instanbul Airport the strewedness stated there is no room for my suitcase and so the case was take from me and off the plane. No bag tag was given to me.
I hand my boarding pass over to the same air strewedness who the lost my ticket.
Turkish Airlines states there is recorded details of my suitcase against my airplane ticket number which I got from Turkish Airlines.
The suitcase is not found in Istanbul and not in San Francisco.
There is over $2000 worth items in the bag to help me to get into a forest and yet there is over 30 people relying on me to get into the forest by the beginning of July this year.
Desired outcome: Find my suitcase case before the 5th July or given $2000 so I can buy all the items again which is a sleeping bag, roll mat, walking boots etc.

Ticket provided for a non-existent flight
My husband and I were issued a return ticket by Turkish ( PNR 6QT2) and travelled on 15th May from Bombay to Istanbul via Dubai. Ticket was part miles and part payment.
On the way back ,4th June at Istanbul airport , when we checked in, the Turkish staff said we had to collect the Dubai-Bombay boarding pass at the Dubai transfer desk and she checked in our luggage through to Mumbai and gave us TK+AI baggage tags. As per ticket, we reached the transfer desk at Dubai at 3am on June 5th, and asked for the boarding passes. We were told that the flight AI912 didn’t exist. Our luggage was wrongly tagged to an 11.45pm AI flight which we could never have taken since the TK758 flight scheduled arrival to Dubai was at 2.25am.
No one at Turkish transfer desk was there. One person at operations didn’t help us. We called Turkish Airlines online number and got no help. The only response on phone was to wait at Dubai airport, call Istanbul after 9am local time to see what can be done. We felt harassed, I was sick from all the waiting and bother. We were being asked to go from one point to another and transfer staff couldn’t help since we had no onward tickets and no reason to stay in Dubai transit. Dubai airport authorities also pointed out that we could not be in transit indefinitely without Dubai visa or transit flight out.
At no point did Turkish Airlines tell us that you booked us on a false airline that didn’t exist. This is the most bizarre and absolutely illegal thing to do - issuing a legal ticket with PNR with a false information on flight.
We were finally advised to buy new tickets on Emirates to make our way out of Dubai and to Bombay since otherwise we had no basis to be there at Dubai transit area without legitimate boarding passes for the onward journey and no visa for Dubai.
I would like to claim the costs for my Dubai-Bombay ticket at minimum and also file a legal case on the grounds that Turkish Airlines has done something illegal by 1) issuing a false ticket ; 2) checking in and boarding passengers on an incorrect PNR with false boarding cards that do not match the PNR of the ticket issued.

over charging on rescheduling of return ticket from Houston, USA
Me and my spouse travelled to houston usa on 29th january 2023,our return ticket was booked for 24 july 2023, because some problem at my home , we booked and travelled to karachi on 7th may 2023. Turkish air charged rs.85,95o/- = to more than usd 301/- per ticket instead of usd 80/- which is maximum, thus usd 221x2=442 must br returned please.
Please note that full fare was paid fully four months back at the time of ist booking .
They have not any right to revise the fare on return travel or charge more on rescheduling than all the international airlines are charging.

Unprofessional and rude staff at the US houston airport
So my mother travels every year with Qatar airline and this is the first time we booked Turkish Airline. The staff at the airport was extremely unprofessional and rude to my mother. She has health issues and is 60 years. I would mention her name as well, it was Reema Arshad Khan and with her there was another manager. My mom requested a wheel chair to which they told that it is gonna take too long and didn’t give it to her. She also made a comment after looking at the passport as it was not of USA. She said this is not your country when we just requested if they can also let the carry on also go with the luggage as most airlines have done for her. And they do if bags are not that overweight. There is no need to be rude and racist towards people of other country.

I, Victor N Ngochembo bought a two-way flight ticket from Los Angeles to Douala, Cameroon, and Douala, Cameroon, to Los Angeles. I missed the flight from Los Angeles to Douala, Cameroon, on the 5th of April, but my return flight from Douala, Cameroon, which was still valid on the 20th of April, was canceled, and I was forced to pay for a two-way flight again. Please, I need a refund for my return flight.
I was overcharged for my luggage. I had five bags of about 23kg each, and your representative at check-in collected 2080 dollars from my credit, I am paying interest for the money he took from my credit card. Please, I need a refund.
When I was returning from Cameroon, I arrived at Istanbul airport, but there was no information on the departure gate. I asked workers a the airport, and I was told to wait for the information to appear on the board. When the information appeared on the board, the distance I had to walk to check in was too far, and at the check-in, there were many people in line, and I had to spend some time at check-in. When I finally checked in, the boarding gate was closed in my face, and I was not allowed to board the aircraft. I was forced again to pay for another ticket. I need a fund for this return ticket.

Turkish Airlines charges extra for seat assignments purchased while confirming flight purchase. They do not transfer this funds if flights are changed.
Paying extra to choose seat assignments and not transferred when flights are changed thus having to pay again. All the while Turkish Air is double dipping by not honoring the funds that were paid out earlier

I did not receive a boarding pass for connecting flight. Missed my connecting flight and had to pay full price for another ticket.
I flew from DFW to Istanbul on april 11 2023. iI did not receive a boarding pass for my conecting flight. the lady told me she was out of paper. So when I get to Istanbul they send me through to get a boarding pass. I only had 1 and half hours to get this done. It takes 20 minutes to get of the plane. UJJ1J7 20 minutes to get to where I can get another boarding pass and then go back through security. Then they close the gate 40 minutes before the flight leaves. the plain was still parked when I got to the gate but they would not let me board. So I go to get another boarding pass and get charged $1027 for a 2 hour flight to Vienna. That is how much I paid for my round trip ticket. Up until this time I wondered why the young lady in Dallas was so nervous when she said she was out of paper. She knew I would have to pay for another ticket. There were 12 to 15 people behind me but only 3 or 4 of us didnt have connecting flight boarding passes. This has scam written all over it. My family in Vienna didnt know what had happened so I had to take a taxi. The man in front of me at the airport had to pay $146 but I paid the price of a round trip.

I was robbed, probably in the terminal waiting for my flight but it is also possible that my backpack was opened on the flight itself.
My flight was delayed from 02.25 to 06.40 on the 7th April. I dozed while I was waiting in Area F of the terminal. Someone must have opened my backpack as I slept. I lost an old Rolex and about 8,500 Chinese RMB (about 1,000 euros).
I only realised the watch was missing when I got home very late that evening. I was angry with myself for my imagined carelessness. The following morning, I checked the bag more carefully and I saw that my money (packed away carefully) was also missing. Clearly, someone had gone through my bag.
I have complained to the Turkish Consulate in Guangzhou. And now to you.

Baggage inspectors
Hi, i flew TK1754 from Oslo via Istanbul to Gambia where i transitted at Istanbul the 04.04.2023 i noticed that your employees have inpected one of my luggages and marked it as inspected. But after i arrived my destination and needed to use som tools that were in the bag i couldn`t find the batteries of my MILWAUKEE WRENCH IMPACT, 2 (batteiries).
This is unacceptable and unproffessional as you might guess it was going to be used to do some jobs which required the above mentioned tools. And expect you guys to find out the people responsible for this act and replace my batteries as soon as possible, as am still thinking whether i will press charges for the delay they caused me in a job that was time sensitive. Attached is the wrench impact that the batteries were not repacked in Istanbul.

But I received an email from Turkish Airlines to direct me to do another feedback. Stopover hotel offer
I booked a round trip ticket Boston to Athens via Istanbul with a stopover on the way back. I booked on the airline website where it stated the ticket was eligible for a hotel night
When I arrived In Istanbul I was told I was not eligible for the hotel night because there was a shorter connection if I had left Athens the next day.
I only booked that ticket because it was available and indicated a hotel night was part of the booking.
I now had to pay for my own hotel, which of course I did not budget for. It really feels like a scam on the airlines part
