Turkish Airlines Extra charges on rescheduling the return ticket fully paid four months back.

me and my spouse traveled to Houston USA on 29th january 2023 with a return

planned on 24th july 2023. due to problem in karachi we rescheduled the flight

and performed journey on 7th may .the air line charged the credit card of my agent Rs,85,950 x2 =171,900/- .on enquiring they chaged usd 135 per ticket as rescheduling which is very high, normally should be not more usd 80/- per ticket

more over additionally charged fare difference, where as we were booked in economy class and traveled in it. please return the extra amount charged immediately.

Turkish Airlines Unprofessional and rude staff at the US houston airport

So my mother travels every year with Qatar airline and this is the first time we booked Turkish Airline. The staff at the airport was extremely unprofessional and rude to my mother. She has health issues and is 60 years. I would mention her name as well, it was Reema Arshad Khan and with her there was another manager. My mom requested a wheel chair to which they told that it is gonna take too long and didn’t give it to her. She also made a comment after looking at the passport as it was not of USA. She said this is not your country when we just requested if they can also let the carry on also go with the luggage as most airlines have done for her. And they do if bags are not that overweight. There is no need to be rude and racist towards people of other country.

Turkish Airlines Flight cancellation and over charged luggage

Airline Confirmation SDY7PT and booking; [protected].

I, Victor N Ngochembo bought a two-way flight ticket from Los Angeles to Douala, Cameroon, and Douala, Cameroon, to Los Angeles. I missed the flight from Los Angeles to Douala, Cameroon, on the 5th of April, but my return flight from Douala, Cameroon, which was still valid on the 20th of April, was canceled, and I was forced to pay for a two-way flight again. Please, I need a refund for my return flight.

I was overcharged for my luggage. I had five bags of about 23kg each, and your representative at check-in collected 2080 dollars from my credit, I am paying interest for the money he took from my credit card. Please, I need a refund.

When I was returning from Cameroon, I arrived at Istanbul airport, but there was no information on the departure gate. I asked workers a the airport, and I was told to wait for the information to appear on the board. When the information appeared on the board, the distance I had to walk to check in was too far, and at the check-in, there were many people in line, and I had to spend some time at check-in. When I finally checked in, the boarding gate was closed in my face, and I was not allowed to board the aircraft. I was forced again to pay for another ticket. I need a fund for this return ticket.

Turkish Airlines Cancelled flights

Our flights were cancelled and we were not able to check in, we had only 2 options - change flights (following day) or cancel, we tried to cancel but it said unable due to online web issues
We had to book other flights and now trying to get a refund and have not got anywhere with anyone
This is very frustrating.

Turkish Airlines Missing flight

This is not a complain, I just tried to contact you every where, I have lost my passport and consequence of this I lost my flight, I can send the police report of lost passport, is this can be considered as not my fault and I can resevre another flight?

Turkish Airlines Seat assignments extra fees

Turkish Airlines charges extra for seat assignments purchased while confirming flight purchase. They do not transfer this funds if flights are changed.

Paying extra to choose seat assignments and not transferred when flights are changed thus having to pay again. All the while Turkish Air is double dipping by not honoring the funds that were paid out earlier

This is not good faith business

Turkish Airlines I did not receive a boarding pass for connecting flight. Missed my connecting flight and had to pay full price for another ticket.

I flew from DFW to Istanbul on april 11 2023. iI did not receive a boarding pass for my conecting flight. the lady told me she was out of paper. So when I get to Istanbul they send me through to get a boarding pass. I only had 1 and half hours to get this done. It takes 20 minutes to get of the plane. UJJ1J7 20 minutes to get to where I can get another boarding pass and then go back through security. Then they close the gate 40 minutes before the flight leaves. the plain was still parked when I got to the gate but they would not let me board. So I go to get another boarding pass and get charged $1027 for a 2 hour flight to Vienna. That is how much I paid for my round trip ticket. Up until this time I wondered why the young lady in Dallas was so nervous when she said she was out of paper. She knew I would have to pay for another ticket. There were 12 to 15 people behind me but only 3 or 4 of us didnt have connecting flight boarding passes. This has scam written all over it. My family in Vienna didnt know what had happened so I had to take a taxi. The man in front of me at the airport had to pay $146 but I paid the price of a round trip.

Turkish Airlines TK0070 7th April 2023

I was robbed, probably in the terminal waiting for my flight but it is also possible that my backpack was opened on the flight itself.

My flight was delayed from 02.25 to 06.40 on the 7th April. I dozed while I was waiting in Area F of the terminal. Someone must have opened my backpack as I slept. I lost an old Rolex and about 8,500 Chinese RMB (about 1,000 euros).

I only realised the watch was missing when I got home very late that evening. I was angry with myself for my imagined carelessness. The following morning, I checked the bag more carefully and I saw that my money (packed away carefully) was also missing. Clearly, someone had gone through my bag.

I have complained to the Turkish Consulate in Guangzhou. And now to you.

Desired outcome: Please respond to [protected]@tiscali.it. This should not have happened in a secure situation. Please inform the Airport or Tourist Police.

Turkish Airlines Baggage inspectors

Hi, i flew TK1754 from Oslo via Istanbul to Gambia where i transitted at Istanbul the 04.04.2023 i noticed that your employees have inpected one of my luggages and marked it as inspected. But after i arrived my destination and needed to use som tools that were in the bag i couldn`t find the batteries of my MILWAUKEE WRENCH IMPACT, 2 (batteiries).

This is unacceptable and unproffessional as you might guess it was going to be used to do some jobs which required the above mentioned tools. And expect you guys to find out the people responsible for this act and replace my batteries as soon as possible, as am still thinking whether i will press charges for the delay they caused me in a job that was time sensitive. Attached is the wrench impact that the batteries were not repacked in Istanbul.

Turkish Airlines Damaged Baggage

My baggage had been damaged on Flight#TK690, on 26 Jan. 2023, route from IST to CAI. I received a file reference: CAITK94597. I stayed for two weeks and they did not call me or solve the problem. I emailed Turkish airline to have my permanent address in USA: 5504 Knob Court, Killeen, TX 76542 USA and have my phone in USA: +[protected]. I received a feed back with reference number: TK-8297189. But I received an email from Turkish Airlines to direct me to do another feedback. When I completed their request on the given page with all the requested documents, it did not work and said my name does not match the reference number.

Turkish Airlines Stopover hotel offer

I booked a round trip ticket Boston to Athens via Istanbul with a stopover on the way back. I booked on the airline website where it stated the ticket was eligible for a hotel night

When I arrived In Istanbul I was told I was not eligible for the hotel night because there was a shorter connection if I had left Athens the next day.

I only booked that ticket because it was available and indicated a hotel night was part of the booking.

I now had to pay for my own hotel, which of course I did not budget for. It really feels like a scam on the airlines part

Turkish Airlines Harassment and unfair practice

Subject. Harassment and Mistreatment by Turkish Airlines at Istanbul, Turkey refusing our travel to Dubai, UEA to attend very important business meeting at MEDLAB Conference for promotion of US Made in UEA and Middle East and forcing us to return back to Los Angeles on the same day

Dear Sir,

With due respect I would like to report a serious incident causing harassment , mistreatment and unlawful acts forcing us to return back on the same day of our arrival at Istanbul .

History of the Event.

We booked our return trip by Turkish Airlines for our travel trip from Los Angeles to Dubai leaving 18:25 Monday . February 6, 2023 Los Angeles international airport (LAX) arriving 18:25 Tuesday February 7 at Istanbul (Turkey) and then continuing connection to other Turkish Airlines flight TK 760 to Dubai (1 hour 30 min layover) and return via Delhi (India) and Tokyo (Japan) to Los Angeles , Feb 21, 2023. (See attached Itinerary). Main Purpose of this trip was to attend business meetings in Dubai and Tokyo.

My main purpose was to attend meetings for promotion of US Made, IVD products in above mentioned countries.

At LAX International airport we presented our passports to Turkish Airlines personnel to get boarding passes. In the presence of others I mentioned to him specifically any restrictions to travel to Dubai, Delhi and Tokyo, his answer was that there will not be any problem to continue travel from Istanbul to Dubai (UEA), Delhi (India) and Tokyo (Japan). .

History of the Incident.:

Harassment, Mistreatment and Forced to return to Los Angeles.

After reaching Istanbul and presenting boarding passes to the Gate of departure Turkish official. He bluntly told us that further journeys cannot be continued because of my short-dated US passport and told us to get out of the boarding queue and go to Turkish Airlines Information. After waiting for 1 1/2 hours, the Turkish airline official rudely told us nothing can be done to continue our journey to Dubai and rudely asked us to get out of the waiting queue. He further said that to get a Turkish visa in order to stay even for one day at the airport.

We went to the Turkish Immigration Section of the airport where one cannot go back to the departure area - one way entry. At the visa section, the Turkish personnel refused to give me the visa so that we could explore other possibilities to continue further by different airlines. Also another major issue was our two suitcases luggage (previously checked in with starting Turkish Airlines TK 10 flight from LAX) cannot be redirected to any other airlines except only allowed to return back to Los Angeles by Turkish Airlines.. The whole situation In this case made us helpless and stuck with a Turkish immigration custom area which did not even have a sitting place or food restaurants just like in a jail.

After bearing so much harassment and mistreatment by Turkish airlines personnel , we decided to return back to Los Angele in order to avoid further unexpected stress at my old age. We again waited in another long line, where they refused to help us return to our country, we instead had to buy our own tickets back to the US through an online booking agency for another 1250 US dollars as Turkish airlines refused to pay for it.

When we were forced back to Los Angeles International Airport, presented our passports to the US immigration officer, a question was raised by him why coming back after one day. We explained the whole issue and incident of harassment and mistreatment by Turkish Ailes staff to miss our important mission of travel. He sent us to the official of immigration department to explain the whole incident in detail. The senior officer was kind enough to listen and record the incident and told us that it is a case of harassment and mistreatment by Turkish Airlines to US Citizens recommended us to lodge complaint to US Consulate Istanbul Turkey for harassment and mistreatment and demand compensation for the waste of $ 4,000.00 money (Air Fare, Hotel & Taxi), time and missing very important meeting in Dubai. He further said that Turkish Airlines should not have allowed us to travel to Istanbul in the first place even knowing my short-dated passport. This is an offence to be reported. .

Turkish Airlines Bad handling

Hello.

My name is Ashraf Abdelrahman I am from Sudan yesterday I took a Turkish flight no 1938 from Brussels to Khartoum and the connection in Istanbul to change the flight, after I left the plane I realized that I forgot a bag in the flight, I tried to talk with the man responsible in the gate and he refused to bring me the bag, he said me to go to the office, I went to the Turkish airline office in the airport and they said that you cant login to the service of loosing luggage unless you have a European passport. so I was confusing that even they don't let le make any report for my bag, they said when you go to your destination you can report there. Dealing with them was very bad, I asked them to talk with the manager and no one of them wants to help. then I was late for my flight because of that, so I couldn't catch the flight went back to the Turkish airline office to change the flight. they said only we have flight after 48 hours and I have to stay in the airport all these time. they don't want offer me another flight even with connection so I am now in Istanbul airport since yesterday and my flight is tomorrow night. really it was one of the worst things that happened to me at the airport. i want return my bag and i cant and i want return back my bag and they don't want make anything, I never see employees deal with clients like that.

it was the most bad experience happened to me.

Turkish Airlines Travel conditions/stretcher service

My wife was repatriated back to the UK with your airline on 8th August 2022 flight number (S) TK1846 and TK1971 arriving London Heathrow 1645pm via Istanbul medical travel using onboard stretcher. The stretcher used was too small for the purpose and my wife suffered severe muscular pain/sickness/vomiting through out both flights. I raised a complaint with AXA travel who were responsible for the medical repatriation process. They advised me to raise this complaint with yourselves as you provided the equipment needed for Mrs Louise Currall so nowhere near adequate for the flight home. see flight details below:

Turkish Airlines Need reimbursement for the money paid at heathrow airport for reissuing my flights.

My flight was booked to travel Antigua London on Virgin Atlantic and Turkish Airline from Heathrow to Hong Kong via Istanbul. I am fully vaccinated and was told I don't need a covid test when travelling. I am a student going to China for school. My other friends who travelled a week before me never needed any testing. I got to London and ready to board my flight on Turkish Airline, I was refused boarding because I didnt have a Covid Test. I DONT NEED ONE. So i missed my flight and scheduled a testing. I paid 725 usd to change my tickets. When I got there the next day NOONE asked for my test results. So I paid all this money for no reason. My agent in Antigua & Barbuda tried to speak to someone and they refused. She also sent an email since November and noone answered. This is why i am doing this through this website. Please assist in anyway possible. My original ticket number was [protected] printed 21 November, 2022 then my reissued ticket was [protected] printed 25 November, 2022. I would like to know how could i get reimbursed for my inconvenience. Thank you You can email my agent [protected]@gmail.com

Turkish Airlines Delayed baggage, damaged content and additional expenditure

Turkish Airlines Complaint Number : CASE ID:[protected] // DAH ISTTK26536

On October 29th 2021, I flew from Philadelphia USA and transited through Turkey (for five days) before heading to my final destination in Cameroon. When I checked in In Philadelphia, The Turkish Airlines Ticket agents insisted that I check in my Backpack which contained all of my personal belongings I planned to wear throughout my trip to Turkey and Cameroon and back. After going back and forth with them to convince them to let me get on the plane with my backpack which could fit perfectly into the aircraft, they were adamant to change their mind. I finally gave in and checked in my carryon backpack. To my greatest surprise, when I landed in Istanbul Turkey, my backpack never arrived on the flight. I was asked to go to the baggage claim office and place a complaint, which I did. During my five days in Istanbul, my luggage never arrived and I had to purchase a new travelling bag and new clothes and other necessities to use both during my short stay in Istanbul and my long stay at my final destination in Cameroon. The purchase was quite expensive but necessary because I had no belongings with me and the Airlines did not provide any assistance to me in Turkey prior to my departure to Cameroon.

I finally flew to Cameroon and throughout my stay in Cameroon I did not get any feedback from Turkish Airlines. When my vacation was over in Cameroon, I returned to my base in the USA still without my luggage. I had gone to the Turkish Airlines website and submitted a complaint within 7 days while in Istanbul as I was advised at the baggage office in Istanbul when I arrived. My complaint was submitted on time. Even on their website, they guarantee passengers of "compensation" for the inconveniences caused by baggage delay. My case was well into that frame, because not only did I incur pain and suffering, I also incurred financial expenses as a result of the delay.

When I got back to the USA, I continued following up with the Turkish Airlines customer service representative on my complaint. They finally were able to trace my luggage and on December 01st 2021 (A month after my travel) I received a call from JetBlue that my bag finally arrived at the Philadelphia Airport, ready for pick up. Basically I flew with my back from Philadelphia and never saw it again until I returned back to Philadelphia 1 month later.

When the bag arrived, my expensive designer outfits were all damaged by mole and my other valuables and jewelleries damaged as well. I took a few pictures of the damages and uploaded into the Turkish Airlines complaint portal as evidence. I also uploaded pictures of some of the receipts of the items I purchased in Istanbul when my bag did not arrive. Despite all these evidences and my pain and suffering, Turkish airlines simply brushed it aside and rejected my request for compensation on the flimsy excuse that I did not submit my complaint on time. This of course was a false excuse because my complaint was submitted with 7 days of my arrival in Turkey. As a matter of fact, the same day I arrived, I went to the baggage claim office and submitted the first complaint before following up on their website. I had flown on Turkish airlines before and my two previous experiences were terrible. The level of racism and discrimination towards blacks and non-Muslim passengers was appalling. But they showed extreme kindness towards Muslim speaking passengers. However, I did not let that affect me at the time because their flights were the most affordable. However, this last experience with my baggage was the final straw that broke the camel's back for me. I was treated very unfairly and

and they lied about my complaint just to avoid paying for the damages. I wrote to them again to re-open my case and do their due diligence by following through with the compensation. I am going to make sure I tell everyone about the horrible treatment that Turkish Airlines gives its customers.

Desired outcome: I want the case re-opened, re-evaluated and I want to be compensated for the pain , suffering , damaged baggage contents and reimbursement for the purchased items in Istanbul.

Turkish Airlines Paying for extra legroom but not getting those seats: online aircraft map and real aircraft did not match up

My letter below is in response to the noreply feedback I got from Turkish Airlines (TA). Costumer Service. Although it gives the option of 'clicking here' - one only gets an 'access from this server is denied' - all other attempts to make online contact with TA gives the same response.

Thank you for your reply.

The seat numbers are indeed the same as we have originally booked online.

However - online - these seats were well indicated to have extra legroom and therefore we had to pay extra for them.

As you know, your online system calculates this automatically - so you only have to look at the booking and invoices itself to see this.

When our seats did not give us access to the seats we originally booked, we could only recon that the plaine layout used with the online booking and the actual plaine used when we boarded had not been the same.

Kindly check where we have made the booking itself and our subsequent payments.

Could you kindly let us know what the procedure is for arranging a refund for the extra money we have paid?

Turkish Airlines Denial boarding flight 1981 on 25/12/2022.

With grievous heart I and my family regretted boarding Turkish airline (Flight Tk 626) that flew on 24th December,2022. From Muritala international Airport Lagos.

On this fateful day, flight TK 626 supposed to take off at exactly 9:55PM to IstanbulTturkey according to the itinerary receipt issued by Turkish airline tickets instead Flight Tk 626 Took off exactly 10:20PM on alighting at Istanbul Airport Turkey, We moved out of flight 626 Inorder to board Flight 1981 according to Our itinerary and as directed by the crew members at Istanbul Airport Turkey Immediately, We were told that the flight 1981 We supposed to take to Gatwick Airport United Kingdom has flew, Immediately I and My family and other three (3) different families that boarded Flight 626 reported at Turkish customer service We went to complain but all our efforts as directed by Turkish customer service for 6 hours at Istanbul Airport was abortive. We all have to book and paid for another flight going to Gatwick Airport United Kingdom Which flew at 2:00pm Turkey Time, By the time We eventually arrived at Gatwick Airport United Kingdom at luggage claim section I discovered that My bags have been torn and tape have been used to support it On getting to the Hotel Where We lodge TRIVELLES HOTEL GATWICK We discovered that items where stollen on my luggage.

The following items are listed below.

3. Female hair stretcher (1 item)

4. Cassava flour (Garri in Africa).

Turkish Airlines Denied boarding/cancelled reservation without any notification

I booked online ticket with travel from EWR-IST-DOHA Dec 6th, 2022 and return on Dec 24th from DOHA-IST-JFK (PNR - RAJAZE)
First of all I was denied boarding on Dec 8th in the afternoon flight from IST to DOHA since they said I need to have the HAYYA approval. (which was in pending state) Then I went to ticketing and updated my travel to 20:25 hr flight to DOHA which will reach Dec 9th around 1:30AM. I was issued boarding pass and after being seated in the aircraft I was pulled back and the gate manager 'HAKAN LICAR' behaved so bad that he teared by boarding pass and pushed me to exit out of the gate. I asked for police or higher authority help and then he in the pretext of helping wasted the time to aim the plane leaves for DOHA. I pleaded help but nothing was done. Infact I showed him My next flight details from DOHA to DELHI was within the next 24 hours which I showed him the itenary as well.

This was in case my HAYYA portal entry do not get approved I was still within the 24 of my next travel from DOHA to DELHI with your code share partner INDIGO AIR As I was denied to travel to DOHA I immediately booked by travel with a new ticket from IST to DELHI for the following day. I took a hotel and stayed back in IST. As anticipated my HAYYA portal got approved in the early hours of Dec 9th - so had I made it to DOHA I would have had my approval and everything would have been fine. But because of this less knowledgable person HAKAN LICAR who denied my DOHA boarding I ended up spending my additional day in hotel room, new travel booking from IST to DELHI etc. Before exiting IST I ensured to check with Turkish airlines (since I am denied travel leg to DOHA) will my rest of the itenary be intact?

And the desk confirmed with YES.

SO I left DELHI traveling by INDIGO.

On my return I was surprised that my ticket from DOHA to IST-JFK was deleted and I was not aware of it. WHen I tried to get my boarding pass in DOHA they said that I do not have my reservation in place. This was more painful now as I am stuck in DOHA without a travel confirmation. How can TUKISH airline delete my onward journey without informing me? I have smiles and miles account. All details of contact are there and yet no communication. I was helpless to the point and since didnt had any alternative I booked a NEW ticket with QATAR airways non stop to JFK and paid about $900.00 Here I am requesting that person HAKAN LICAR should be terminated from his duties who created a mess for my travel, secondly refund my money on the travel leg which was deleted without informing me, forcing me to buy a new ticket to travel back to JFK.
