TurboTax review: An additional charge was applied without my clear and informed consent

When I started my taxes I opted for the 'Turbo Max Benefits Package 2025' for $79. Once I finished my taxes, on March16th I went to submit my tax return. When I was prompted to pay for my TT services the payment page came up, no total, but a page for credit card information showing how much money I saved, again no total. I put in my card information and pressed 'submit'. Only after my invoice came up did I notice that TT had added the 'Online Expert Assist Premium' package for $199 to my account without my knowledge. I did not consent to this package, nor did I use it. I completed my taxes on my own, always have. This is not my first time using TT for my tax return. I have reached out to TT, twice, and they have refused to refund my money. This is fraud and unless my money is refunded, I will be escalating this situation to the BBB.
