false advertisement
A friend of mine was booking four rooms at a travelodge in Bath so that we could go to bath for the weeknd to have a spa weekend to celebrate our mothers birthdays. She selected what she wanted on their website and it came up with the total price for the four rooms and it was showing them all avalible so she clicked on the pay button. then next screen she had come up said it had taken the money for one room so she pressed cancel as this was wrong it was ment to be four rooms. It then told her the other three rooms weren't available so its just taken payment for one room.
We are so upset about this because they should not have taken the payment for the one room before teling us we couldnt have the four that we asked for. One room was no good to us and it was the websites misstake but they refuse to refund her money.
They made her believe she could have the four rooms then took the money for one without telling her. Its false advertising and they have stolen her money. We have reported it to citizens advise and waiting to hear back.

disgusting room
Do not rent a room at this location. The first appearance of the jacuzzi in the room was clean, once you fill it and turn it on, a yellow ### appears floating on the water and it builds up a yellow ring around the tub. This scared me to thinking of germs of prior rental use. The bed in their jacuzzi room is hard as a rock.
Upon registering my complaint with Travelodge Headquarters, the Franchise Headquarters said they couldnt do anything about my problem, that it would be referred to the local hotel to deal with.
The response from the local end was not satisfactory, and this will have to be taken up with another source.

bad company
I've been calling periodically for the last 2 days to change my husband's reservation from 2 nights to 1 night. No one was answering, and there was no way to leave a message (phone just kept ringing). Additionally, I couldn't respond to the confirmation email (it's a do-not-reply email address).
FINALLY, the manager, Gary Dent, answered the phone, and actually ARGUED with me that he had been there the entire time, and that I was lying about calling! Additionally, to add insult to injury, since I didn't get through to the hotel (even though I was calling, and no one was answering) within 48 hours prior to the change, we were still going to be charged for the Friday night that my husband wasn't going to be there. What a rip off!
I've read many of the other complaints - it's a bad company that has no regard for their guests.

rude, vulgar and verbally abusive manager
Manager Kelly at the facility was rude, vulgar and verbally abusive to my wife. This women had her so scared that my wife lock herself in the room for the night and checked out first thing in the morning. I call this "Manager" to find out what the problem was and she went off on me on the phone and accused my wife of propositioning two people in her staff and that my wife was drunk and I was just as big a rude S.O.B. an my wife.
This happend at the Reno Travellodge & Suites Airport, 2050B Market St.
The General Manager is A.J. Dutt and the owner is Calvin Abe.
manager and a employee try to fight me at the front desk at 3700 northwestern ave racine, wi 53405 and did not give me the new room after we check in to a dirty room. time 11:00am 12/17/2022 Saturday morning.The young lady that is with me is disable so this is every hard for us.
We where told it was unlimited breakfast for 9.75 and it was not worth the money so disgusted it was Birmingham airport travelodge we where there from sat 3rd dec to sun 4th dec 2 adults
We stayed 2nd September for one night the bed was very uncomfortable the pillow was lumpy bathroom dirty round the door I,we could not wait to get up from the horrible stay we are regulars the hotel but this time we were very disappointed booking number1547984271 Beverley Adkin
When I checked in 5/7/19 at San Yasidro, ca. Room #150.When I got home next day was itching all overmy stomack and shoulders After going to irgent care doctor said it was bedbug bites.
Also the room carpet had many, many stains and smelled like dirty driveway.had payed in advace for room big mistake.
There was no Wifi service to room 116 during my stay on the night of Sunday 9/17/17. Account [protected]. It would connect to the router for about 10 seconds but never provided an Internet connection.
I reserved a room canceled on time, was told it was refunded ..I still have the charge. Please contact me and help resolve this.
Absolute crooks. Run the shadiest place in town. Room are crappy, elevator didn't work, pool was green. Definitely do NOT recommend.
